there's like two common bsd plot misconceptions i see that i rarely see people talk about so here (also feel free to correct me if i'm actually wrong lol):

"Fyodor wrote Sigma into the book"

Nope! We don't know who wrote Sigma into the book. It might've been Fyodor but that would require him having access to either the book or another page of the book, which is unlikely considering he's been looking for it like the whole plot and had to use Sigma's ability to find the page the special divison had from Chief Taneda.

"Mori always knew Tachihara was a spy"

He actually found out from the Agency, more specifically Yosano's account, before Tachihara returned to the Mafia post Sky Casino arc.

Even Dazai didn't know about Tachihara until this point.

My hot take is that when Dazai eventually does break down and shows emotion, it won’t be tears, it’ll be rage. Look at his face when he and Fyodor are going back and forth in the prison, he’s pissed. He’s been separated from the ADA this whole arc, his plans keep failing, his partner has lost all autonomy and been turned into a mindless vampire, and now he’s been separated from the one person he promised he’d get out alive. For the past four years he’s been trying to be a better person and it seems like every time he makes a little bit of progress he loses something or his past gets thrown back in his face. red vs blue really looked at me and said here is our logic fragment. this is the logic man. he feels logic. he has a strong survival drive. but also he loved york enough to be willing to die with him.

sigma wanted so fucking bad to be human, to be whole, to chase what they came from and what they were. that he totally missed the fact that delta fucking made it. Delta was more than the Logic Fragment. He had his own bonds, his own wants, his own drive because of his relationship with York.

And in his attempt to become whole again, Sigma... completely undermined that. Made delta into the Logic Fragment again. just another fragment, not a person of his own.

do you ever think about how if sigma had slowed down and really tried to work with maine, that maybe things could have gone so so differently?
