Long hair Macaque, my beloved-

No but srsly, one of my favourite designs is just long hair mac and in this au Mammy's figure is just mostly hair.

I was trying to recreate this screenshot:

Obviously there's some difference like I tend to draw a bit chibi (big heads) and I didn't want to make Mac's hair THAT voluminous-

I wanted to achieve sort of a gypsy vibe with these little skrimblos

AND THEN I FOUND THESE:

And I could NOT pass it up.

So yeah...

Oh! And I also gave the sparkly drip to their ears

(Sh!t I just realised, I forgot the shadow creatures... I'll see if I can add them in later)

I COULDN'T for the life of me figure out the hundred yard stare to match with Mac's sharp eyes (how I draw him) and not make it look goofy so I made them spoopy and glowing instead

I sadly don't have much to say about Bai He here since her black hair didn't leave that much room for shading in a darkened environment (I'm so sorry) And this piece was to show off Mac's design more anyway (I promise Bai He will get her spotlight)

(Also Bai He, nor Mk nor Macaque wears shoes. Wukong is the only one in the family who does and I find that funny)

But oh! The hair? Here comes the fun part

You see I WAS going to use black hair for this photo but i soon realised how much of a pain it was just to shade it (cause i couldn't) and I was just WISHING I could use his white fur instead

And then I realised....

The white fur could be his winter coat.

Some animal's shed their fur in the winter (I think some rabbits do) and grow a new coat, occasionally with a different colour.

Therefore I could make the white fur the winter coat and during the story, his fur could be black to show how much time has passed since Bai He last saw her Baba...

Mwuahahahahahhahahahaha I'm so evil

(I was very proud of myself)

(Also I know macaques don't grow winter coats but just let me have this one ok?)

And why doesn't Bai He have white fur as well then? Well maybe she's just a different kind of monkey or perhaps it's just an age thing.

Funnily enough, when I showed this to my friend, she said he looked heavenly which is funny cause. As much as I love him, Macaque is a smug bastard and he knows it.

Like I know a lot of it was due to trauma BUT STILL

I just personally dislike how the fandom sometimes makes him seem like he could do no wrong and he is "uwu delicate babygirl that needs to be protected at all costs" when this boi is fockin FERAL man.

So despite taking a bit of a back seat in the main plot for this au, Macaque is still a smug bastard behind the scenes as much as he is a good dad

(Gosh sorry for the rant, I just had that pent up for a while now and needed to get it off my chest)

I wanted to post this yesterday on Friday 13th but oh well,

I hope I achieved the mysterious spoopy vibes as the original lol

What if Monkey Male (Y/N) who was short like 5'4 and people making fun of his height a lot to the point that he feel uncomfortable just saying about his height like.

even though Monkey Male (Y/N) was short he is super strong and a dominant one in the relationship with the Monkey king.

He personality: he actually pretty nice and calm and a good listener just don't say anything about his height.

Bonus: Monkey king is the only one who can say anything about Monkey Male (Y/N) height but If the Monkey king making fun of his high too much- the Monkey king will have a problem walking tomorrow.

If you know what I mean... 😏

All i'm gonna say is that three out of five of them were asking for it😏😏😏🤭🤭🤭

(Lmk Wukong) Now I know he's gonna teach you for your height. Granted it's never malicious attempt but knowing him has personality he's gonna do it. He You remain calm because you know he's joking. But it gets a little too muwhen he gets into the way of stuff because of how short you are. You finally had enough when he purposely put stuff on the top shelf. You yanked them by his cape and reminded Him data don't even matter that his taller than you. His legs may be numb but he is very satisfied.

(HIB Wukong) Oh at least he knows better. You're the literal definition of calm before the storm. You are never like that with him. But he has seen what would happen if anyone dares to ask you or even talk to you about your height. He tried it You know? tried to tease you about your height and the next Day he couldn't use his legs😳😳😳

(NR Wukong) Man I know this motherf*cker will do it on purpose. Because he knows what's gonna happen if he continues to do that. I think he keeps a notebook of every short joke He's made towards you and though you love him. And he will never do it with malicious attack. It's going to get tiring here and say. How's the weather down there and all that sh*t But on the bright side to all of that, he'll be too busy Screaming your name to make another joke like that.

(MK Reborn Wukong) Man you always have so much fun breaking him. When you first met, he taunted you for your height. And how are you supposed to fight him when you are white five foot what. Your eyes darkened that day. And the next thing you know, he was on his back, Getting his shit rocked if you know what I'm saying. That was the day he learned to never speak out. A term like that less he wants to Loose's ability to walk.

(Netflix Wukong)He learned first hand how short Have the biggest attitudes on the planet. He first learned that from Lin, Then he learned that from You. But he was teasing you about it way too much so You came up with a plan. You grab some rope, you tie them up and went to town. He was blushing drawing and shocked at what was happening to him right now. And what shot the more was He didn't want it to stop. So whenever he wanted that extra attention He just has to push that button.

Macaque, Wukong, and Nuwa trying to be parents to MK( plus Bai He)

List:

Macaque and Wukong deal with all their issues, while trying to MK from going Apeshit.

Nuwa thinks she understand humans, because she made them, she doesent

"Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque babysitting Bai He and MK"

The scenarios are mostly silly little stories of them trying to be good parental figures or scenarios that could possibly happen in season 5.

Also, if anyone wanna draw or use any of the scenarios in any way, im completly happy with that! Just tag me, so i can reblog it and love it forever :)

Scenario 1: "Macaque and Wukong deal with all their issues, while trying to stop MK from going Apeshit"

This is acutally something, i think, could happen in the show.

So, Macaque and Wukong are trying to deal with all their past issues(which there is a lot of). And tts not going great though, and they end up having an argument again.

Suddenly MK steps into the room. He is really struggling with all the "mystic monkey busniess" going on in his life, so he thinks talking with the "mystic monkeys" would help.

Problem is, Wukong and Macaque are too mad eachother to do anthing to help, other than making it worse soooo. MK just leaves, now having it even worse with his "monkey fate", since earlier he had a small fight with Mei. Nothing big, but with Macaque and Wukong fighting, and them being an awfully lot like him and Mei, he is starting to get scared that they will end up like them. And that he will end up hurting Mei.

So in the middle of MK having this chrisis, a sort of Steven Universe future panic(if you know the refernce), Wukong and Macaque finally come to their senses and reailise something very important. To help MK, they have to understand what went wrong with them, so MK and Mei dont end up on the same road.

And in that way, we get the "Macaque and Wukong backstory" :D

Scenario 2: " Nuwa thinks she understand humans, because she made them, she doesent"

One day, MK goes to pick up Bai He from school(big brother and little sister vibes). Sadly it starts raining(a lot), so they cant get home. (Kinda like this scene from my neighbor Tortoro).

Nuwa sees this and picks them up, where she is then thanked and told that they quickly have to get Bai He home, before her parents get too worried.

But instead of just driving a little bit faster Nuwa goes almost full GOD MODE, and drives faster than fucking Wukong on his cloud. They almost drive several people over, several cars crash into eachother because of it, and a lot of people have gained new trauma because of it.

The kids are screaming, yet Nuwa just interepts this as to go FASTER.

They make it to Bai He's home, safe and sound, but lets just say that MK and Bai He are just gonna wait next time it rains that much.

(The reason MK didnt use his staff? He forgot)

Scenario 3: "Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque babysitting Bai He and MK"

Pigsy was supposed to take care of Bai He, because her parents were doing something that day, but something came up. And MK cant do it, because he accdently broke one of his legs, and Pigsy doesent wanna push him too much because of it.

And since neither Mei, Tang, Sandy or any resbonibly adult he knows, can help, he calls Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque.

The little trio sees this as a great possibilty to get closer to the kids, but its gets a biiiit chaotic with the following things happening:

Macaque gets a bit jelaous, and tries to train MK a bit, yet this ends in MK breaking his arm too(dont ask, neither of them dont know how it happend)

Bai He asks Nuwa if she can help her with her homework. This though ends up in Nuwa crying over Math homework.

Wukong tries to cook some food, but gets too cocky, and ends up making litteral poison, that could kill a god.

Dont worry, they order some Pizza, put on a show and they actually have quite a nice time after that.

Pigsy just finds them sleeping together on the couch, and suspects nothing. (though he was surprised the house wasnt burned down)

Consider an au with the soul mate identify trope of your writing on your skin showing up in the skin of your soulmate. Obviously shadowpeach are soulmates . Would them during their nemesis Era use that to torment/taunt the other(insults, threats,etc) or would they pretend it didn't exist

gonna be honest with you, anon, i am super picky with my soulmate AUs (out of love, i love them so much !and this has made me a harsh grader for them)

anyway

i don't think Macky would use their "link," so to speak, as a means to torment or taunt (not including swk because it was honestly Macadoodle who was the instigator and provoker throughout their nemesis dynamic in lmk). and i feel like Wukong's punishment under the 5 Phases Mt. would cut off their communication the fastest because even if Macky wrote on his arm, Wukong would never see it or be able to write back (which Mackarell is very aware of). after their fight, neither would be able to write back an apology or even scribble some sweet drawing if they still can't find the right words. so, it's possible that because of this 500 year pause of communication, their old habit of scribbling and writing notes on their arms faded pretty quickly.

and then Wukong is free. his arms are no longer fused with rock. his arms are bare, obviously. he feels that old itch to scribble or write something on them, but he doesn't follow through with it. he can't. not after what the both of them had said to each other. sure, centuries passed but how would Wukong know if Macky would be happy to learn he's okay, that he's free. the last thing Macky even said to him was that he was tired of being dragged along by Wukong, so....maybe Wukong shouldn't drag Macky along any further.

and then they meet again, and Macky is pissed. whether at Wukong or for him, it's hard for the monkey king to tell because Macky is mad and bloodthirsty and he is hurting Wukong friends. he is impersonating Wukong, trying to steal his journey--not even his, it's Tripitaka's, his master's-- trying to fool everyone into think that Wukong is nothing more than a demon who desires for nothing but to consume the world of its power and reign as the greatest there's ever been-

then Macky is dead. everything happened to fast, but there the monkey lies on the ground, arms bare. they have always been bare ever since the war they started with Heaven centuries ago. Macky's arms are bare and so are Wukong's.

when Macky wakes up/is revived the memory of their link and broken bond is still fresh, but for Wukong, it's been a long, long time.

Wukong has grown to become used to the scribbles and ink on his arms to never be reciprocated. he doesn't even write or draw on them that much, just when the itch to do something is strong but he's got no spare paper or spare mural room. he even allows his little Suns write or scribble on him just for fun or when they're bored. he even allows MK, who's arms are always filled to the brim with scribbles by the time the kid arrives for training.

Macky did not expect to ever wake up one day and find his arm full of ink. he clawed it at since washing it off didn't work. there's a strange sort of limbo Macky's mind seems to go into whenever he considers the reason for why Wukong is still scribbling, still adding life to their link. all throughout seasons 1 to 3 Macky figured it was because Wukong had eventually moved on enough to stop caring.

and yes, Wukong did move on. but he never stopped caring. Macky hadn't believed that until he was with MK in that scroll.

and it's strange. to find out that the person you once loved still loves you (how much or how different is still unclear). it's even stranger when you realize that you, yourself, do not still hold love from the past but for the present, for the future.

after Azure's defeat, there's some new scribbles on both of their arms. Wukong swears he didn't change his style, so obviously it must be Macquackity himself who'd done it (then he starts to smile while holding his arms tightly to his chest). Macky just huffs and claims that it's better than boredom (then draws on a sun and a moon on the wrist of his arms).

Hi! This is kind of my first time requesting, I already red the rules so um can I request headcanons of SWK, Macaque and MK with the reader who is part of the East Sea's Dragon Clan? Or you could say the reader is somewhat Ao Guang's daughter? Would their father's reaction be on them dating? Would he aprrove?

Aw its never too much dear nonnie! I used the first option since I dont have that good of a grasp on Au Guang lol. Apologies if its short this was pretty on the nose!

Macaque, MK and SWK with a s/o who’s part of the east sea dragon clan

When you came to visit Mei on orders of Au Guang, to make sure that his greatx1M niece is doing alright after dealing with the samedi fire.

You were around her age and shared interests (swordplay) so he figured you’d be nice to each other.

What he didn’t know was that you also got particular close to a certain Monkie Kid.

Once MK first met you, he already though you were really cool!

Since you lived in the east sea clan most your life he and Mei loved showing you around.

It took a while for him to fall but once he did he fell HARD.

MK is a naturally affectionate person but once he realises he’s absolutely smitten with you he becomes much more touchy, not in a bad way though!

After a couple nudges from Tang and Mei you two started dating!

He loves your scales! Will kiss your cheeks to feel the scales!

My dude will be drawing you allllll the time, especially pre-dating, thats just how he pines.

You two train together! Who doesn’t love fight-flirting.

He also helped you pick a new wardrobe as your current clothes just didn’t make the cut.

Use your dragon powers during a fight or just for fun, MK will freeze bcs u look so cool.

‘Heck yeah baby! Thats MY girlfriend guys!’

Sun Wukong

You had met Wukong and the others while they were in jail, well met is a strong word, more like walked past them and gave them a weird look.

After the battle with the lady bone demon you went to see Mei, on orders of Au Guang to make sure she was alright.

Thats how you met Wukong again.

At first you two didn’t like each other much. Wukong was a bit salty because of the look you gave him in the hail cell. You thought he was a big trouble maker.

Only when you saw him interact with Mei did you see that, hey maybe he isn’t so bad at all.

For him it was the same but with MK, as long as you and the kiddies got along you were alright in his book.

Fast forward to when you two got together, Wukong made sure it was a spectacle, he is the Monkey King after all.

Expect him to be clingy af, you CANNOT tell me he isn’t touch starved even just a teeny bit.

He’ll always be grabbing your hand or something, maybe putting his head on your shoulder.

Love LOVES the way your scales feel against his fur, especially during summers and hot days.

Tries to use ‘scaly peaches’ as your nick name. Yeah he’ll just stick to peaches.

Likes watching you help MK train, is practically drooling over you.

Cheers you on during actual fights.

‘Heck yeah peaches! Kick their butts!”

Six-eared Macaque

You and Mei had become fast friends in the east sea palace, she gad even invited you to come help them in defeating lbd.

You of course accepted. After all was said and done you decided to stay with Mei for awhile, get to know the surface world.

What you didn’t expect was that you would fall for a certain shadow.

Macaque had begun by admiring you from afar, watching you through shadow portals.

You could sense that someone was watching you, so you obviously tried to attack him.

You know those slo-mo, love at first fight things, yeah thats what happened between you two.

After Mei explained their truce with Macaque, you still didn’t trust him but went along with it as Mei seemed genuine.

In no time at all you both realised you have burning crushes on eachother.

You confessed first, one day showing up at his house and saying you liked him a lot.

Thats how you two started dating.

Macaque once licked your scales after you started dating to tease you.

You got him back by grabbing his tail and twirling it around you hand.

No, you two are a POWER COUPLE. Seriously imagine a GIANT SHADOW MOKEY KAIJU and a DRAGON charging towards you.

I’d surrender by then.

He likes how well you get along with lbd’s host (she was adopted by everyone I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL-)

Less touchy then Wukong and MK, prefers quality time with you rather than physical touch.

He’ll totally add a dragon character to his shadow plays for you.

Like we are one of the eggs of toothless and his mate light furry.

But we end up get taken druing a fight and

Our egg is on a ship but somehow our egg rolls into a potrly and is in lmk world

and how the others find us is us hatching and they're stuck is so we end up in imprinting on them ( haha you are the father haha ) and they have to explain to there lovers what happened ( sun trying to explain his to his mate she did not cheat

Dbk the same to his scary wife tang to pigesy mk to Mei)

And they we see our mama and slowly turn into our human form which was still most likely look more Dragon then anything and sneeze end up doing a plasma ball lol that hits our Father lol

I always have a hard time when drawing a nightfury for when I wanted to make oc haha lol but anyway that’s off topic let’s get to it!

Characters: shadowpeach, dbk, freenoodles, waterspider/silktea, greenflames (mk x mei), spiderqueen, nezha.

Shadowpeach:

He had found you when he was fighting a demon who was dumb enough to try and kidnap his master and apparently that very demon had the egg you’re currently in, so they decided to bring you along for safe keeping until you hatched.

(I’m deciding to do this in the past since I didn’t really have a way to put sun in a fight that much plus I thought it would be a good and fun idea.)

You had hatched soon after and imprinted on sun some time into the journey later, they couldn’t do anything about it so they decided to go to sun’s home. When they all finally arrived to sun’s kingdom; flower fruit mountain, they weren’t expecting another monkey like sun but black aesthetic to punch sun in the face making him drop little (Y/n) who landed safely on the ground confused on what’s happening and don’t know what to do.

It was Tripitaka who was able to cool down his disciple mate and explain to him that sun did not cheat on him but actually in reality saved the little one when they came across a mishap on their journey which lead to macaque getting embarrassed and softly apologized to sun, who didn’t really care just as long as his mate know he wouldn’t do something that terrible to him and added how macaque looked hot when he punched him.

You look at the other monkey who wasn’t your father and soon declared him as your mother by talking in their language, which you had somewhat swiftly picked up on the argument from pigsy and sun along with everyone in the group are speaking to each other.

Before y’all got to flower fruit mountain; pigsy and sun was having a argument in front of you while you sun bathe which annoyed you because all you wanted was sleep and they weren’t letting you so you did what you could only do and followed your instincts; which lead for them to have a face being hit by a plasma blast shot from you before you went back to sleep now finally able to have the quiet of it that you needed to do so.

They all soon agreed to one, never mention that again and two, to never fight in front of you even if you’re not sleeping yet, cause they don’t know what else you could do and don’t want to find out; for such a young hatchling you certainly have a powerful plasma blast that even the great sun wukong don’t won’t to face again.

Macaque soon grew attached to you and now saw you as his daughter and would only let Tripitaka, Sandy, sun, and bai long ma be near you, no pigsy as he speaks loudly and you’re usually asleep when he’s around and macaque don’t want you to go through the trouble of shutting pigsy up so he makes sure he doesn’t happen.

Dbk family:

Dbk had found you in a forest as he was just taking a walk to calm his nerves and decided that you would be a big surprise to his and pif anniversary.

He had kept you a secret for the most part with only redson knowing and doing normal check ups to make sure you’ll hatch all healthy.

You had soon hatched and quickly latched onto dbk, imprinting on him as your father and soon followed him wherever he went which was hard for him to keep you a secret but apparently not good enough.

Pif had soon found the hatchling, and thought the worst; she at first thought that she could just ask her husband about it but with how hormonal she’s gotten from her period she soon grew anxious about the outcome to that which lead to her growing angry with her husband.

(I don’t know if demons can have periods or something similar to it but let’s just go with it for the post.)

Dbk forgot that it was his wife hormonal week with how excited he was about his gift for their anniversary, it wasn’t until redson had point out that it was in fact her hormonal week.

When you noticed pif it was then that you made the conclusion that she was now your mother and started cuddling with her making her settled down with your purring before her husband was finally having a chance to explain about you.

Redson mostly spent his time studying you and also playing fetch with you; he studies you because he want to make sure that he can understand the things you need, like, and other things like that, one time he was drawing on the dirt ground of the garden they had before you came over and observing what he was doing before grabbing a big enough stick before drawing yourself, one you were done you felt proud of your work before noticing redson was going to step on it and started growling at him which made him lift his foot before doing it again and seeing it result in the same reaction to when he first went to put his foot down on a line of your drawing before going around the liners and ended up to you which you jumped on him and yelled brother with a proud and happy look on your face.

Freenoodles:

Pigsy was just getting ingredients for his food that he sells in his shop when he found you about to be kidnapped while you’re in your egg not even hatched yet, which being out his overprotective side out and make the culprit regret deciding to do that.

When tang first saw the egg he had many thoughts mostly logical but then he started going down the deeper and more anxious thoughts before asking pigsy why he has a egg in his hand softly with his head down.

Pigsy was worried about his husband reaction and noticed how his shoulders would shake a little, starting to panic he quickly explained how he had saved you from some kidnappers and decided to bring you back home with him so that the two could raise together like with how they did with mk.

Tang was relieved but made pigsy let him have free noodles from now on as a way to make up for scaring him like that; he somehow doesn’t know how to react to that but relented anyway to make it up to tang.

You hatched soon afterwards and imprinted on both of them. You would tear the seats that was in the shop which lead to tang having to always carrying you so you wouldn’t be able to do that or get a reason to do that.

Tang had accidentally bought catnip and was going to bring it back for a return but you seem to have got a hold of it and now was doing things similar to how cats do when they’re on this stuff.

Tang and pigsy noticed how you seem to be more like a cat and decided to see if you would do more cat stuff with toys, pushing stuff and other things like a cat would, but it wouldn’t be long before you started to grow human features, not much but just enough to make it show. Your wings had crashed into many things which lead to you being told to do that outside when it gets stiff, and of course to ask permission and make sure you bring someone that they know they can trust; like mk, sandy, redson when he visits for his boyfriend.

Waterspider/silktea:

You had meet him when you barely could open your eyes; he was searching for a missing cat that got lost and was close to where you were, apparently the cat wasn’t exactly lost but had sensed you and wanted to see what was what, which lead to him finding you hatching from your egg and eyes meeting resulting in you imprinting on him as your new father, plus finding the cat.

Huntsman was skeptical about you since you’re a dragon and are more damaging than a cat is but sandy won him over by saying how the two could teach you on how not to do things that would damage the boat or anything else along those line.

They took noticed on how you acted like a cat so they went from there with a few changes since you aren’t really a cat. They also got a laser just to see how you would react to it; never again are they using it as he has being chaos.

They see that you like fish and nothing more so they tried to get different fish for you so you wouldn’t get tired of it so fast which probably wouldn’t matter as that’s your species usual diet, but they do try to spice things up with ingredients that they knew you might like and wouldn’t harm you.

You then start growing more hum an features as you stay and live with them which was new since you only had dragon features before so they decided to meet up with mei to see if she possibly know why you suddenly stared growing human features.

She said maybe is was because of how long you stayed with the couple and started to gain characteristics from the two which would make sense now that they think about it. Then they left for home while saying goodbye to mei along with thanking her as well.

They started teaching you more human/demon like teachings and how to live in the city while keeping you close to them as a dragon demon is rare and only mei’s family and herself are the only ones they knew about so you might get kidnapped if the two weren’t careful about protecting you from people who would do that.

Greenflames (mei x mk):

You had hatched a few weeks later after that and that brought a celebration in order; when they brought out a substitute for the cake you apparently blew fire in reson’s face on accident, good thing he’s fire resistant and a demon or else his face would of melt by that plasma blast that you threw at his face.

You like to swim in the pool that your new mother family own for fun, and sometime your parents would add some fish as well as change the water for you and the fish that you like to practice catching in.

They would grow protective as they both have a few possible enemies that would like to weaken them at any moment wether it’s to kill you or kidnap you; the enemy best hope it’s just kidnapping cause if anything happened to you while in the enemies hands then they are done for and not just by you, they would have mk and mei to deal with.

They would bring you to the gravity arcade a lot as it’s a fun place and thought you would have a blast and they would be able to teach you some moves on how to get prizes and tickets for the prizes and y’all would get to spend time together as a family would.

Spiderqueen:

Your egg had found it’s way into her lair and was resting in the other eggs not being found out about until you hatched from that egg. Syntax was the one in the area and so he quickly alerted his queen of this new discovery which she had found amusing very much.

She wouldn’t let you go anywhere outside the lai in fear of losing you as she ha d grown to think of you as her own daughter and child and even then you have a tracker imbeddedinto you by syntax just in case something bad happened or if you decided to wander off forgetting you mother’s words.

If anything bad happened to you then she would make sure that the culprit regrets even thinking a lost dong that then turn around to scold your for forgetting to bring strong spider, huntsman and, and syntax and your bodyguard.

You would get everything that you would want as long as log as you’re patient and if it was in her capability to get it; she would even get the head of sun wukong if it was possible and when sh get stronger than before.

She was glad that she lived somewhat close to the ocean for yoyu to get your fish as that seem to be the species diet from what she and syntax could understand as they learn from watching you follow your instincts.

Nezhaa:

You were brought to the jade emperor who thought it was wise to give you to Newhart; who was skeptical at this outcome but ended up agreeing to the jade emperor’s orders as the jade emperor is in human terms his boss.

It was a new occurrence for him to have to watch both you and the map at the same time but he was able to get used to it some time later and since you wouldn’t be able to anything at this stage of your growth so he didn’t really have that much challenge from you.

But when you did hatch it certainly became difficult for him as you can be rowdy when bored and hungry, he was able to get some things from a store in the human realm over time that would cure your boredom and huinger thankfully.

He noticed that you hav characteristics form that of a cat so h decided to see if you would play with cat toys ;Ike a laser that he can control by hand and a mouse for you to play with while he’s busy at the moment.

You soon gain human features as you grow; finally being able to stand on two legs that look like a human rather than a dragon who would be on four legs usually though you seem to have still have dragon features that now m,Ames you a half dragon.

When you had used you plasma blast for the first time it was at him when you had became grumpy by him not being able to spend time with you; and with how you’re still young and very much playful he needs to entertain you but you don’t realize how big his responsibility is right now but he still tries to raise you.

If anyone tried to take you away from him then she will make it a very painful death, even if that person is of higher wing than him; he will make sure that it was some kind of accident musta to make sure he’s able to keep you as his daughter.

No worries! I had some fun with this one

Traffic Light Trio and Shadowpeach (separately) x GN! ADHD!reader Headcanons!

Redson - condescending at first. But they slowly adjust and are actually pretty good at helping you! Has a spare fidget in one of their pockets in case you ever need one. They’re the “translator” for other people whenever you’re trying to talk as fast as you’re thinking and mix some stuff up—you don’t know how they do it, but they understand you perfectly. If you need something hands-on to do or are just bored in general, they’ll have you lend a hand in their projects, or at the very least let you sit with them and talk about your latest hyperfixations while they work. The only time they’re going to really question your logic (if there is any) is if they pop into the kitchen for a midnight snack and find you just fully zoned out, no thoughts head empty. Don’t worry they’ll snap you out of it lol

MK - OH SAME BRO. You two operate on a routine that you collaborated on because otherwise it would literally just be chaos. He has a whole bin of fidget toys that he lets you borrow from at any time! You two sit together and probably get mesmerized by those slime videos or even just those sensory videos. The apartment is probably covered in sticky note reminders. His favorite thing is letting you infodump to him about what you’re interested in, and then he gets to rant to you as well. He mixes up words just as much as you do, and yet you both always understand what the other is saying.

Mei - is the reasonable one out of the two of you. She helps you remember what you need to do and stuff, and honestly she benefits from making you a routine since she’ll probably end up making one for herself too. Definitely buys you fidget toys from time to time and ends up finding ones that she likes too! She keeps track of your interests so she can talk about them with you! Also probably has a backpack leash for you(she already has one for MK, so honestly it’s only natural you get one too). Very sweet, just wants you to be happy in any capacity!

Macaque - he has a very, very loose understanding of what ADHD is and how people cope with it. He balances out your hyperactivity the best he can, and honestly how could you refuse when he talks so smoothly to you about maybe chilling out for a minute? He’s with you for the good days and the difficult days, especially when you’re super unmotivated to do anything. Loves all the cool creative ideas you come up with; he has you help him brainstorm for his plays. He definitely doesn’t mind staying up late with you when you’re hyper focused, but he also knows there’s a line he needs to draw for the two of you so you don’t wake up the next day feeling exhausted. He himself burns out a lot I think so he’d be very good at recognizing when you’re burning out too(along with helping you manage things in a way that you can prevent it)

Wukong - he gets it, to a degree! Having known MK for as long as he has, he knows the basics, however he is more than willing to sit down with you and get an understanding of what your experience is like! Runs with most of your ideas and impulses, unless of course you’re thinking too far ahead or even too quickly. Yes, taking a trip on his cloud to visit a zoo a few cities over sounds nice in theory, but hang on, let’s actually plan a proper trip. He has nothing to really do all day other than train with MK and take care of the monkey village, so he’s never gonna say no to you coming over and hanging out with him, doing your thing, etc. He probably has some trouble understanding you if you’re talking really fast, but he doesn’t get frustrated or upset. He just kindly asks you to repeat what you said but slower. He’s doing his best for you :]

Gosh I absolutely ADORE your wukongverse stuff! They're so silly and fun :}, and it delights me whenever there's a new one out there! My absolute fave are the ones with Lego swk and mk (especially the one where mk was a stone egg that the two monkeys, swk and Mac, took care of alongside freenoodles!!) It's so darn adorable I would give my life for them ur honor

Oh and I've seen you post a lot about hib too! And I know an artist you might like since their blog is mostly abt dasheng stuff (as far as I know, I'm mostly about lmk things :v).

Thank you! That au is how my blog sorta spiralled XD

The main "The Monkey King and the Infant" au started off as a silly idea reacting to a few "Horse and the Infant" animatics. Wukongverse started methinks cus of an unrelated joke about the Celestial NATO idea (different pantheons of gods = different Jttw "pantheons"/verses).

And I am aware of @sunny-days-and-warm-mournings! I love their art and their deep research and theories into chinese mythos and Journey to the West lore. I especially love how they draw Dasheng compared to a baby monkey, so tall and imposing and then theres a tiny fluff ball he'd kill everyone for.

Little TMKATI au MK def has had a few bumps and minor injuries that sent shadowpeach into a whirlwind of panic. Wukong doesn't remember how much damage a mortal monkey can take, while Macaque is working with 6th century medical knowledge. So if MK ever got scalded, either by a kitchen accident or by an irrate customer? Shadowpeach start sobbing on the spot. Especially if they were the "cause" of the soup spilling. Even if MK's injury is really small, they're beating themselves up about it for the next few weeks.

Freenoodles meanwhile is like; "Eh, it'll build resistance. He'll probably end up getting burned once or twice in a busy kitchen no matter what. Just cold compress it and bandage up."

It’s that time of year again (even though I really don’t do this yearly, more like whenever I remember to post) for me to post the art I’ve made recently. There will definitely be a trend of LMK (Lego Monkie Kid) art here because I’m currently hyperfixated on Monkey King things. (but honestly he’s a mood and I wish I could have someone like him in my life because I need that chaotic energy in my life). Anyways here’s the art, which is mostly ocs but I don’t care lol

Okay so to start us off on what I’ve drawn is (newest to oldest):

Xiaoyue (the first two pictures) is one of my lmk ocs. She is Mk’s sister and pretty much his Macaque just without the trauma (which comes during s2/s3 when LBD briefly gets into Mk’s head and causes him to attack his sister which results in her getting a scar. She is blind in that eye, but I forgot to show that so imagine her eye is a grayish color instead or she’s simply wearing a colored contact).

Next up is Red Son. Though it’s more of a redesign/AU design because I was on a redesign kick, but I really enjoyed his design in lmk (at least his outfit) so I just changed up his colors and added more bull features on him along with the five rings that Guanyin put on him in JttW (though I believe one is supposed to be around his head like with Monkey King, but I decided to put it on his neck instead. Sort of like a necklace).

Next is a lil mini comic thing (that I used a reference for that I found on Pinterest) of JttW Wukong and pre-curse Bao (another lmk oc who’s pretty much transcended to anything Monkey King related lol) when they first meet and pretty much fall in love with each other. Though they have technically met before then, back when Wukong was causing trouble in heaven for the Jade Emperor. The two never really interacted for various of reasons, but young Bao did find Wukong to be a breath of fresh air (metaphorically speaking) compared to everyone else in heaven. (If you want Bao backstory I’ll give it just send an ask and I’ll spill the tea lol)

Next up is Qingling (another lmk oc lol) who is a young goddess that can turn into the twelve different animals of the zodiac as well as communicate with them. The purple robe is from when she was placed to guard the map of the Samadhi Fire with Nezha, who pretty much became her mentor but not really (he just taught her how to fight so that she’d be able to actually guard the map). The red robe is from when she left her position, which happened some time before the events of the show, and met Mk (who she gained loyalty to and a crush/partner which is totally based off of a rp with a friend). She’s pretty much like Mk, but more on the side of being similar to early Monkey King (mostly because she used to terrorize people with her powers for the fun of it plus she honestly didn’t know how to treat mortals before meeting Mk since she was sort of taught that they were beneath her).

Next we have Possessed AU (my own little AU) Bao, which is about how Bao ran away from heaven upon finding out Wukong had been trapped under a mountain (she had a crush on him and was overreacting lol) and ended up meeting Lady Bone Demon, who used her powers to possess the vulnerable young goddess. Unlike “Mayor”, Bao is a mute and does what either LBD or Mayor tell her to do (she’s referred to as his receptionist many times to mostly hide her true identity). The staff was something created for Bao by LBD to channel her powers and allow Bao to use both LBD’s bone magic (like Macaque did in s3) and her own sunlight magic. (If you want to know more about the AU just send an ask, I’d be happy to answer it)

Next is actually a fusion design/redesign/AU design for Macaque. It’s a mixture of his 2009 Monkey King show design and his LMK design. I really liked the design of young Mac so I thought it’d be fun to merge the designs. It’s kinda like his true form, or at least my version of his true form. I’ll eventually draw the full body version of it lol.

Lastly is a random thing I wanted to make that got stuck in my head for days before I actually drew it and I love it so much. The two characters have evolved from just random characters to ocs that I’m slowly making a world around. For now they’re just referred to as the Princess and the Vampire since I don’t have names for them yet. Though I do know that he’s the “villain” of the story and their lives are intertwined with each other no matter what they do.

i think one of the funniest things about Shadowpeaches, before they make up after the whole murder thing

is that they absolutely know everything about each other

MK mentions Macaque ordered a noodle dish with specific extra toppings to Wukong (because MK sorta wants them to be friends again because their bickering is annoying, and also now that he knows Macaque is good so buddha help him macaque is gonna get befriended)

and Wukong, without thinking for a single second, just fucking knows Macaque had a bad day. That what he ordered was for comfort. And he absolutely hates that he knows because it means that even after all these centuries he’s retained so many memories of Macaque, his likes and dislikes, things to make him happy and what might’ve made his day bad. And those memories are there despite Wukong probably wanting to forget them and actively trying to

Likewise, Macaque can tell what Wukong’s feeling by how he stands, walks or talks. The tones of his voice, how sharp his movements are or how playful the tone of his voice is. Like he does a little spying and sees MK and Wukong sparring, and Macaque can just see the absolute pride in Wukong’s eyes as the kid lands punches, he sees Wukong get more and more into the fight as his movements becomes faster and more playful. And that probably hurts Macaque more than annoys him because it reminds him of when it was him and Wukong sparring, and the same thing would happen.

And here's the finished piece y'all!

I will say, I do hope this was worth the wait and there are noticable improvements!

Honestly pretty proud of this piece!

(Also sorry I couldn't post this earlier, I had to complete some work before finishing this ^u^')

and see! I did promise Bai He the spotlight and y'all received!

I will admit, I MIGHT have gotten a bit carried away with the embelishments and embroidery but COME ON.

I know practically speaking, there wouldn't be this much embroidery and pattern on her outfit for someone living in the wild and well... a monkey BUT STILL

I just wanted her to match with Mac and achieve that gypsy look is all! I already went full force with him so why not give a little pizazz to his daughter?

(BTW, ALL members of the shadowalkers fam will eventually get their own tulle shawl/wrap thingy. You'll just have to wait for me to design Wukong & Mk)

Headcanon that Mac & Bai He made parts of their clothes together and while Mac was busy doing his own thing, Bai He befriended a cat but it got it's paws in the paint and walked all over her shawl. Then Mac comes back to the mess and Bai He decides to keep it like that. XD

Also Bai He was learning sewing and stuff (cause she rips her own clothes so often she needs to learn how to patch it up) and did the embellishments by herself and was so proud of it afterwards. (Like if Mac can get clouds on his robe in canon, then Bai He can have flowers and butterflies on her dress)

Actually y'know what? No this isn't headcanon. This is canon to the au now.

I was originally going to place the embellishments at the hem of the dress almost like a trim, but that looked too uniform so then I remembered Mirabel's dress and took inspo from that.

Additionally, I kind of retconned the purple dress in Mac's piece. I knew pink was kind of Bai He's signature but I just didn't know how well that pastel/barbie pink would fit into the foresty background but hey! We got there eventually.

You might also notice that her wristbands are present this time!

Maybe as she got older, Macaque started teaching her how to make more stuff (he is an artist after all; made his own plays, drawings, a video game) he helped her make her wristbands.

At first they were just going to have her name engraved into it but then I remembered Macaque's lantern and how it used the character for light in it's design and I thought that was super cool so I kinda stole it for my design heh...

Mei was actually a bit last minute cause Merlin wasn't in the original shot but I wanted to give Mei some screentime too since she is rather underrated. And it was a fun challenge to shade her feathers

Not much to say bout' MK, he's just good ol Mk in this one.

I will admit the hair was a little tricky here cause again: shading dark hair is a pain in the &ss but the yellow sunlight made it a bit easier

Surprisingly the hardest part of this was the background

Welcome everyone to my funky little fanfic with my OC Min Li (which if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her, you can do so here) and Macaque! Now I’m not really looking to do this for likes or reboots but both would be appreciated. I really just want to write this and just get the ideas out of my head. If anyone has any ideas for how the story could go feel free to send some asks, but otherwise I’m just doing this for fun and I hope you enjoy nonetheless! Thanks and have a great day!

Chapter 1

Min Li was lounging on flower fruit mountain by her dad’s request to “watch over the monkeys for me and make sure they don’t get into trouble!” Which sounded dumb, why would she need to watch the monkeys? They can handle themselves, but she was never one to argue!

Min Li was drawing in her sketchbook in her room when she heard some people talking at the entrance,

“So what do you think we should be looking for? Like a magic crossbow? Or a cannon? Or a—?” She heard a younger, familiar, voice say, only for him to get cut off by an older voice,

“A vase,” said the older voice.

Min Li raised a brow and snuck to the main area of the cave to see an older man with glasses and a young adult boy with spiked hair who looked unimpressed.

“Come again?” Said ‘spiked hair’ as ‘glasses’ groaned tiredly,

“That dumpling looks to be more of a Guàn tāng jiǎo, meaning that it is potentially filled with some kind of delicious soup! Simply blasting it won’t do!”

‘Spiked hair’ crossed his arms and raised a brow, “and a vase is gonna help, how?”

‘Glasses’ then turned away from ‘spiked hair’ and started speaking in an ominous tone, “legends say Monkey King sought help from Guanyin to defeat a demon I…don’t remember the name of. He used the vase that contained pure water, enough to flood a whole mountain range. It seems logical we should use THAT to suck up the soup and save the world from third degree burns.”

‘Spiked hair’ shrugged with a smile saying, “sounds good enough to me! We can probably find that with all of Monkey King’s other junk behind this GIANT DOOR that I never even noticed before!”

Min Li giggled, startling the two as she hopped down, “seems like you two know your stuff. Now mind telling me who you are?”

‘Glasses’ yelped and jumped behind ‘spiked hair’ as he looked at her in shock!

‘Spiked Hair’ raised a brow, “um…I’m MK? The Monkie Kid?”

Min Li smirked playfully, “so YOU’RE the infamous Successor my father talks so much about?”

‘Glasses’ started sputtering nonsense before yelling, “FATHER?! There are no legends of Monkey King having a child! How is that possible?!”

MK looked at Min Li skeptically, “yeah, if you’re really Monkey King’s daughter why hasn’t he talked about you? How do we know you’re not some demon pretending to be related?”

Min Li thought, “fair point kid! Tell ya what, hand the staff to me for a second and I’ll prove it!”

MK laughed, “not a chance! Only someone with Monkey King’s power can hold it!”

“Then why are you scared? Worried I’ll be able to hold it and replace you?” Min Li raised a brow.

“No! Fine here!” MK snapped and tossed the staff to her.

Min Li smirked and expertly caught the staff, twirling it for a second before slamming it on the ground and hopping on top of it to balance, saying with confidence, “that proof enough for ya?”

‘Glasses’ and MK stared in awe as Min Li tossed the staff back to MK and said, “so what’s this I hear about a Guàn tāng jiǎo?”

‘Glasses’ cleared his throat and said, “I’m Tang. And—.” MK cut Tang off!

“Monkey King contacted me through telecommunications and told us a giant dumpling was gonna crush us all!” He then pointed to the dumpling in the sky!

Min Li looked and scoffed “of course, couldn’t fix it himself. C’mon, let’s go grab that vase, I know where it is!” She then led the way to the door.

Before Min Li could open it however, Tang put an arm out and said, “allow me.” And went to try the barrier.

MK sighed tiredly and looked at Min Li, “sorry about him. He’s kind of unbearable right now.”

Min Li just snickered and said, “it’s fine, I wanna see this.” She then leaned against one of the pillars and watched Tang with an amused look.

When Tang was thrown back Min Li started laughing like a little kid would at something dumb, she then smiled at MK and said, “go ahead kid, if you guys got in here without me and HE can’t open it, then it has to be you of course!”

MK smiled, “thanks” and he then opened the barrier and went in with Min Li and Tang.

When Tang saw the room he shoved past MK and Min Li, grabbing a mirror and saying, “that’s the legendary demon revealing mirror,”

“Hey—.” Min Li tried to get Tang’s attention but was cut off by Tang’s gasp of excitement,

“And the fire tipped spear!”

“Excuse me—!”

“And,” he screamed like a school girl, “MONKEY COP’S LIMITED EDITION 1982 ACTION FIGURES!” He then turned to MK and Min Li with a childish smile and said, “this could take awhi—,” but was quickly cut off by Min Li screaming,

“HEY! DROP THE ACTION FIGURES!”

Tang then immediately did so and looked at Min Li like a child in trouble,

Min Li looked at MK, “follow me, YOU! Stay put!” She then led MK to find the vase as Tang looked in his spot for the vase.

Min Li started scouting through the room when MK picked up a box and made a noise as he set it back down, she turned to him about to ask a question when Huntsman crashes through some of the rubble and MK starts screaming, “ah! He just looked tiny ‘cause he was far away!” And slid back

Min Li immediately stood on defense and looked at MK, “who is this guy?”

MK laughed nervously and said, “one of Spider Queen’s goons.” Making Min Li groan and seen Huntsman looking at the demon revealing mirror.

When Huntsman webbed the mirror MK stopped him with the Fire Tipped Spear, only for Huntsman to gut check MK and send him flying.

Min Li then growled and grabbed Huntsman by the wrist, throwing him back harshly as she grabbed the mirror with her tail, saying “you want it? Come and get it!” Then grabbed a few strands of hair and blew on them, sending clones towards Huntsman as she climbed a pillar and yelled, “MK! Help your scholar friend while I keep him busy!”

Tang then yelled, “MK! I CAN’T FIND THE VASE ANYWHERE!” Only for MK to snap,

“UGH! DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING?!” And use his gold vision to find a box a vases, yelling, “THERE THAT CRATE IF FULL OF THEM!”

“WHY DIDN’T YOU DO THAT SOONER?!”

“BECAUSE I FORGOT I COULD OKAY?!”

Min Li then snapped, “NOT THE TIME YOU TWO LETS GET THIS DONE!” As she yelped and was thrown back by Huntsman as he took the mirror from her!

He then webbed two swords as he crashed through rubble to attack MK and sent them flying!

MK used the fire tipped spear to block the sword attacks as he slid backwards.

Huntsman sent one of his swords towards Tang, making MK shove Tang out of the way and almost getting cut in half!

Tang crashed into the vase filled crates and looked at the vases nervously.

MK continued to block the sword attacks as Huntsman said, “I can smell your fear, boy!”

“It’s my conditioner!” Yelled Mk!

Huntsman sent the Fire Tipped Spear flying and tried to slice MK, only for Min Li to tackle Huntsman and start trying to hold him down, yelling, “MK GRAB THE VASE AND GO! I’LL MAKE SURE HE CAN’T GET WHAT HE’S AFTER!” Min Li yelped as Huntsman shoved her off then kicked her into a pile of junk and pin MK down!

MK yelled to Tang, “TANG HURRY!” Causing Tang to look for a weapon and find a sword!

“Time’s running out little Chimp!” Sneered Huntsman

“You know if we don’t stop that dumpling you die too right?!” Said MK, throwing Huntsman off in enough time for Tang to shoot him away from MK!

Tang dropped the sword and threatened Huntsman!

Huntsman then proposed a truce and took off.

Min Li got up and ran to the two heroes, “what happened? Is he gone?”

Tang looked proud of himself, “yep!”

MK then started fanboying and Tang threw the sword away, grabbing the vase and saying, “this is it! The legendary vase that will save the-no wait hold on!” He then started digging for another, and held one up saying “yep, that’s it! That’s the guy!” And MK and ushered Tang out yelling “LETS GO!” And Min Li followed quickly!

When they got back to the city the dumpling was almost seconds away from impact as they landed and hurried to Pigsy and Mei!

Pigsy looked at the two worriedly, “did you find somthin’ to stop this thing?”

MK looked at them with determination, “yeah! I mean, maybe?” He laughed nervously as he looked to Tang who just shrugged.

The two then started fumbling over words and laughing at each other as they tried to explain to Mei why they grabbed the vase only for Pigsy to snap, “would you Morons hurry up?!”

MK then opened the vase and started to use the water from inside, but he started to slip so Pigsy, Mei, Tang, and Min Li helped him stand his ground as the dumpling was sucked up into the vase…only for the vase to shatter from so much of the dumpling!

Tang, MK, and Min Li started looking embarrassed

Tang laughed nervously “maybe we should have grabbed a few more vases” only for MK to laugh nervously and agree.

Pigsy and Mei then realized that there was a newcomer that looked a lot like Monkey King!

“um, MK? Who’s this?” Asked Pigsy.

MK glanced at Min Li then smiled at Pigsy, “oh! This is uh…what did you say your name was?” He looked to Min Li confused.

Min Li smiled and held a hand out to Pigsy, “Sun Min Li at your service sir. I’m the daughter of the Monkey King!”

Pigsy stared at Min Li for a moment before shouting, “WHAT?!” Then passing out

Min Li sighed tiredly, “this is gonna take a moment to explain.”
