Easily one of my most recent favorite songs. I feel like I listened to this way more than Spotify says I did! I get it stuck in my head often and just...Matt Maher...is one of my favorite artists in general. His work always hits so good. I jam out to this so regularly and it never fails to lift my mood.

🧡: The song that you were most surprised to see in your top 10 (or top 100)

I have zero memories of listening to this enough to get in my top 100. (Nothing in my top ten is a surprise). I mean don't get me wrong, I love Lord Huron, but I don't even recall having this on any of my main playlists!

💛: A song that does not deserve to be listened to as much as you listened to it

I don't really have a good answer for this (they all deserve to be listened to!) but I think I'll go with another song that was a surprise to see in my top 100.

I didn't recall either the artist or the song by name but I definitely recognize the song. It's one of those I vibe to while making art a lot.

I don't know that there is one? I think the closest I come to is just how high up this one is on the list

I hate the discourse(tm) around Taylor Swift and dislike always feeling like I have to explain myself when it comes to her music. I like her lyrics. I like the stories she tells in her songs. Yeah, musically she's average, but I do love her poetry.

And this one slaps me in the face with To Partake feels. It's a big Elrond @Gil song.

This is The Celrond song. No one can convince me otherwise. I know I say a lot of songs are The Celrond Song. But forreal this one. I have loved this song ever since it was released but if I think about it too long in context of Celrond I start to bawl like a baby.

🖤: A song that has strong 202(3) vibes (interpret that any way you like)

This is my top song for the year, and I get why.

This year has been a lot of healing for me from a lot of shit back in 2022. 2022 got very dark there for a while. This song, to me, is about catharsis and finding connection again, and that's what this year has been about for me.
