Seven Fic(s) Sunday 😅

HELLO! I was feeling unhinged so rather than post seven sentences from one fic, here’s seven fics with one or two sentences i know i know need helpppp 🙃

1) the 5x06AU

When he sees how cinched the plastic around his wrists has gotten, how awful the deep red grooves are, a cruel voice whispers in the back of his head; you did that.

2) ren’s very overdue birthday fic

Even in the limited torchlight, Buck can track the path of disturbed earth, mud, and rocks leading back to his awkward position at the base of the incline, in the wake of what he imagines was a pretty accurate impression of a slip-n-slide.

3) the appendicitis fic

Buck carefully slices half a peach into even smaller pieces, and watches on tiredly as Isabel reaches for them—timidly at first—before throwing caution to the wind and grabbing them in her tiny fist, squishing their juices all over her fingers, and handing the mush back to her father as a gift.

“Oh for me?” Buck says graciously as he accepts the slobbery-fruit from her hand. “Thank you so much!”

4) the bobby coda 6x11

“They’re his favorite,” Maddie says then, sounding touched at the sincerity, and Bobby nods to let her know that even though he knew as much already, he doesn’t mind the confirmation. “Hates the peanut ones. He used to get so mad when our mom forgot. He’d scrunch his little nose up so tight—”

Eddie can’t help but smile in response and while he doesn’t turn around to look, somehow he just knows that Bobby is rolling his eyes at the two of them flirting while trapped in a cave-in.

Everybody needs a bit of gut-wrenching sadness in their life and this is mine :) I don't have enormous plans for this plot-wise. I do, however, have a Pinterest board and what more does a fic-writer really need? Rest assured (eventual) future chapters will be filled with heartbroken Daddy James.

5 I Can't Love Him | Words: 31k. Chapters: 6/?. Rating: T.

James Potter was an intolerable prick. A dim-witted, egotistical toerag who wasn't worth Lily's time. Well, unless, in the case of a good telling-off, that was very much worth it. This was true right up until the last few weeks of fifth year when Lily's whole life was flipped on her head, and she was left to work out what in Merlin's name to do with it.

Now... hear me out. This isn't exactly my best fic but it is my first!

Despite being many years old, it has never been finished and the initial version was very bad. There are actually many more chapters published on Wattpad—oh my—that you can go find if you're interested in poorly-written long-winded Jily fanfiction with little to no plot.

It has been undergoing a very big rewrite for a year+ now, the finished chapters of which are on AO3.

Could You Stop? A soft click caught Peter’s attention. Looking up he saw a tube of lube in Wade’s hand. That was ominous. Peter was both afraid and anticipatory. He did and didn’t want to know what that would feel like. “I’ve never done it.” Peter blurted in a rush.

Have Your Cake or Eat It Peter chuckled. “Maybe try not scowling so much. Or just talking to To-Dad?” “He won’t talk to me.” Bucky all but scowled, but Peter was pretty sure it was supposed to be a pout. He tried not to snicker at it.

I’ll Cover You Wade groaned into Ellie’s super soft pillow. It smelled like her coconut shampoo. It made him crave a piña colada. He really needed a drink. “But what about the meeting?” he asked into a mouthful of fabric wrapped down feathers. “Don’t drool on my pillow or you’re buying me another one.”

Spidey-cat “It’s dirty. Smells bad. Smells like-” but Peter didn’t finish the sentence and instead just blushed while looking all the angrier. “The pee smell is not my fault this time!” Wade defended.

The Only One Who Knows Part of Peter truly hated himself for enjoying the praises as much as he did. It seemed childish and nonsensical. The rest of himself told that part to shove it and wallowed in the praise.

Deadly Sins: Vanity Perhaps he should have been afraid. These caresses, the occasional nip of sharp teeth, the hot, wet slide of a tongue, they were far too real. His imagination was, perhaps, tipping over into insanity.

Prehistorical Romance After all, stray thoughts just didn’t have enough room to take up residence when already filled to the brim with Tyrannosaurus-dick.

Felinae Puma Concolor “I mean, I get it if I’m not your type, but I’m a great lay. I’ll make it worth your time.” When Grant continued to panic, Nathaniel asked, “Never been with a guy before? One time doesn’t make you gay, promise.”

Phichit’s Great Ideas “Keep this shit in your room!” Yuri ranted. “Now, now,” Phichit soothed, laughter in his voice as he ran up to Yuri, a bunch of bags shoved into one hand. “We did it in the living room just the other day.” Yuri turned bright red. “Fuck all of you!” He spun on his toe and stomped off, shouting curses at the entire house. Phichit grinned at Emil and offered a thumbs up. “Good luck!”

Failure. That’s what Lincoln had felt like ever since learning about one of the fire teams in his platoon. 4 men, all enlisted, all hard-working and determined, and all gone. He and his JG had been kept informed of the covert investigation into the situation, but his hands were tied. It had been made very clear to him that retaliation would have consequences. Instead, he’s been told to continue on as though his platoon wasn’t missing a limb. He knew they’d be rotated out soon, wanting to restructure the team. It felt like he was against the clock, wanting answers of his own before they were relieved. 

Instead of the answers he wants, he’s been given more orders. Recon duos had been sent out to look for intel for their next mission when this damn reporter had shown up, confident as all Hell, with contact information that she said could help. Despite his reluctance, he took it and was out that night with a partner to check it out. Naturally, the reporter’s tip had paid off.

As much as he hates involving a civilian, he knows they’d still be doing nightly runs with no end in sight if she hadn’t come when she did. That’s the only reason he’s sitting across from her in the mess hall. “All due respect ma’am, you wouldn’t have anything if your tip turned out to be nothing,” he tells her. That file she’s holding is a courtesy. Quid pro quo, in his mind. She’d given him something that had paid off, he gave her what he could without getting an immediate discharge. His jaw tensed as she spoke once more with the rest of his body following along - back stiffened as he sat up straight. “No,” he muttered. “Let me make something very clear. You’re on a military base, overseas, as a civilian. While I’m still not sure how you managed that, you can’t do the things we can. I don’t know how you got the information you gave me, but we’d have come across it ourselves in time. That folder you’re holding? That was your lucky break. Don’t expect it again.”

1. when u binge-watch tv, do u skip the intro theme song or watch it?

If I'm by myself, I generally just let the intro play, since I'm usually multitasking like drawing. If I'm with other people, I'll watch the intro on the very first episode, and then skip it for the rest of the viewings. Gotta maximise episode watching time after all!

2. did u prefer dinosaurs or monsters as a kid?

I was super into monsters as a child, absolutely obsessed with vampires and werewolves and wished I was either. Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman/Frankenstein were my childhood favourites~ Not to mention, my favourite expansion pack back then was the Sims 3 Supernatural! I also had a huge phase of being into zombie media, mainly The Walking Dead, Left 4 Dead and The House of the Dead. My monster interest mixed a lot with Hetalia and I was super into them being vampires and werewolves and such so. Even wrote self-indulgent self-insert cringe fanfiction that are lost to time, thank God. To be honest, the interest in monsters is probably what led to my interest in horror and dark media altogether~

3. how many and what kind of collections do u keep?

I don't really have any collections. I just have stuff that interests me like manga or all my old DS/Wii games, several NEO magazines and manga. I guess I have a tiny thimble collection that consists of only 6 thimbles. Perhaps I should make that a proper one in the future lmao

4. ya’ll r gonna hate this but ur major actually says a lot about u as a person. whats ur major?

I'm currently majoring in forestry. However, the choice to do this course was a compromise between my parents and I to do a course that'll actually get me a job once I finished it. The course is alright, but I'm not incredibly passionate about it at all. I've always wanted to do an art or animation course. Unfortunately, that isn't really viable for me, and I got so much discouragement to do it that I never even tried to make a portfolio and just go for it in the end. Ah well. C'est la vie!
