the case of niko sasaki:

she is such a fun and fucking awesome character, i knew i would love her since the trailer. her and edwin's friendship is so precious and omfg i was so excited for it and they did not disappoint

the admiration i have for george rexstrew and his fucking vocal chords is so. he's always so soft and curt when speaking as edwin that once he gets to really scream it's fucking gut wrenching and powerful and "wow where did that come from". i especially admire his ability to not sound repetitive in his being tortured sounds during episode eight like, it's very easy to get caught in a loop of the same reactions but he did so well

and niko dies. and that fucking scream is so vivid and real and i genuinely almost started sobbing when i watched it for the first time cause it was such an emotional scene. imagine being literally tortured to feed someone's power and paying every bit of attention and emotion into your friend dying before your eyes. his face when he gets all close to her body at the end quite literally has been haunting me since i saw the scene. the way charles has to pull edwin away from her fuck that hurts.

niko sasaki and edwin payne are best friends your honor and i've hardly had them 24 hours but they've healed my heart and broken it again
