The only thing that maintains my faith in God is knowing that I’m holding humanity to a moral standard, and that moral standard must necessarily come from somewhere outside of us. But beyond that like… why does it seem like we’re wired, that we’re naturally inclined to commit certain types of evil? I understand having the choice to do so, but an overwhelming urge?
