I like the idea of having my oc Mercy stay in the Commonwealth long-term rather than leave after the Institute’s handled, so I played around with some ideas of where she’d be living at. In the scenario where she’d be staying, she establishes herself as a ghoul-centric doctor and later offers specialized care like medical implants, vaccines, rare chems, unique syringer darts, and potentially induced mutations if her research gets to that point.

soulmate au with percy and reader. i was thinking like reader is like a complete nobody at camp and the daughter of some not really known god. percy and reader meet by accident and they figure out they are soulmates. percy at first didn’t want anything to do with it because he had feelings for annabeth but comes around.
Tumblr media
Percy Jackson x Fem!reader. (Soulmate au)
-£ Pictured a older version of book Percy, but imagine them staying a camp or coming late.
-£ words: 1.5 words
-£ warnings: Angst, rejection, jealousy, I love annabeth, percy being mean? Idk. Anyway kinda short. What can I say, I love a man with dark hair who has sass?🤷‍♀️
Tumblr media
“Do you ever wonder who you’re soulmates is?” percy sat on the log near the cliff looking over the sunset. annabeth keeping her eyes on the forest below, smiling softly as the orange sun hit her skin.
“I’m not worried about it, they will come to me when the time is right.” she replied with a calm voice.
percy could help himself from looking down at her hand and slowly inching his hand near hers. the marking was just late. he knew that she was his soulmate. how could she not be after everything they went through? besides no one knew him like she did.
fate is a funny thing.
because the person who was chosen to be his, and his alone wasn’t the girl he sat next to. it was you. you barely had any contact with percy. never even spiking a word to each other and yet the world still twined you together.
looking back on it he wished he reacted in a nicer way then he did. anything other then what he did, even faint.
he was running a pile of arrows to the archery training ground when he ran into you. as soon as your eyes met the world was slow for just a second and colors shined brighter then they did. in that moment you both felt something that was more then the gods. something even the gods can’t touch.
“woah,” you whisper with your hands still held onto the arrows he was trying to give to you. his hands didn’t stop clinching onto the wood, he couldn’t believe it.
you blink at him for him to do something other then stand there and stare with a open mouth. sure this type of thing wasn’t normal but he didn’t even move a inch.
but you wished he had stayed quiet, “Look, I um..” he let go of the things you two shared and took a step back with hasted.
“I have to run.” you watched him run off like there was nothing important to keep him here.
At first you thought that he was just shy, in shock, and didn’t know what to say. but you soon figured out he wanted nothing to do with you. you followed him around and tried to talk to him at every chance you got but he would always slip from your fingers.
cornering him in the woods at night wasn’t the best idea but you had but there was not other choice. it didn’t feel good to have your soulmate avoid you.
“There is a mistake.” his voice echoed through the woods, “I feel nothing for you. I am sure you are amazing, but you are not my soulmate.”
he watched the tears pool into your eyes like the waves he controlled. taking a step back from the news from his lips that crushed your soul. “I am in love with another.”
Licking your lips you roll your eyes to try and stop the tears forming. “it’s annabeth isn’t it?” he couldn’t deny it even if he wanted to. the silence he gave when he opened his mouth but nothing came out told you everything you needed to know.
“I do hope you live a happy life,” you walked closer to him only inches away, “especially when she finds her soulmate.” you walked past him and down the dirt path back to your cabin where you broke down.
fate was twisted and cruel for giving you him.
day and night you thought about him. and day and night you got worse. everyone could see the toll of being rejected but no one new by who. not a soul knew about you and percy and you honestly liked it that way. no pity glances when they hung out together.
soulmate depression was a serious thing and could lead one down to a never reversible illness. your eyes lost their light, no one ever saw you smile, looking as dead like as possible. every positive feeling in your body was drained out.
annabeth looked over at you at diner time as you stared at the plate in front of you, sitting at the edge of the bench. “It’s terrible,” she said and picked at her food with a fork. “I hope they come around.”
the trio stared at you in pity, one of them feeling guilt. “It’s a really bad case, I feel so bad.” Grover looked sad as he almost cried himself. love was supposed to be for real, that’s what soulmates were for! If he had one he would never let them get like that.
Percy found himself studying the girl. Her hair messy, her face grime and eyes blank and darker then the last time he looked in them. And Percy was the cause.
“Yeah,” the black hairy boy turned and poked at his food.
It has been week since then and a weight sunk in his stomach when he thought of you, which was almost every moment now. He thought about how you would smile before and how he wanted to see that again. He really thought he liked annabeth but each day that feeling went away.
Maybe he could think things over. But how could he apologize? Would you still want him?
But as Percy thought over the war in his head you moved on. Or as much as you could. there was a sickness in your body but you tried to fight it and spent time with your friends.
one boy took you in quickly. the two of you now glued at the hip and he was the only one who seemed to make you smile now.
“Dude,” Grover knocked his shoulder with his own, “What did he do to you?”
The son of Poseidon darted his eyes lowly at some boy. The way you smiled ever so sweetly like he has been wishing to see for weeks but this- This guy could cause it easily. And those small laughed he could hear so faintly in his ears.
“Nothing.” Percy stated while still glaring at the guy heavily.
the satyr nodded but lingered his eyes on his friend for a few seconds. clearly not believing him one bit.
“I have to tell you something,” he pulled his eyes away from you and to his friend. Guilt covering his face. “You know how y/n got reflected by her soulmate?” his voice shaky.
“Of course, it was hard to watch.” He answered. It didn’t take long for him to connect the dots when Percy lifted his brows as a sign. Grover gasped loudly.
“You did- Oh my god’s. How could you?” His mouth was then covered by Percy as he shh’d him.
Percy took a big breath as he held his hand over his mouth, “I’m not proud of it. It was just, I didn’t feel like we could be. I thought me and annabeth were soulmates until they came along,” he turned his eyes back to your direction to find you laughing slightly with your friends.
“I was terribly wrong.”
As much as Grover was mad at his friend he could see the guilt and regret on his face. He helped him come up with a plan, and gave him a very long lecture about love. Annabeth found out, and cursed him out. Saying that the marks don’t lie and was overly upset he could do that for her.
it took a week of long work for him to build up the courage to finally talk to you.
lucky he knew exactly where you would be. in the same stop he saw you for the first time as his soulmate. In the training grounds. You had been walking back to your cabin looking as beautiful as always even with your gloomy change.
you had a basket in your hand. you hummed quietly and kept your eyes on the dirt path underneath your feet. you were too out of it to hear him walking from behind you. “Y/n.” He called your name.
turning around startled you are met with him smiling at you. the boy who broke your heart standing there with a warm smile on his face as if he didn’t do anything wrong.
“Percy.” You whisper and step back. “I um…Do you need something?” you were shaking almost.
He got closer slowly as he got more awkward by the second, “can we talk?” you were hesitant to expect his offer but you nodded.
“I want to apologize for rejecting you. I felt horrible watching you- Well, get like this.” He kept getting closer and you didn’t know if you should run away or scream at him.
“I was wrong. You are the girl for me.” He saw the tears flood in the corner of your eyes and your lips tremble
“you think that’s enough?” you didn’t yell but he could sense the harsh tone in your voice. And you have that right.
“No, not really.” his frowns. Knowing he needed to do more.
“But I’m willing to work as hard as I need to. If you will have me?”
His green eyes filled with sorrow. the feeling to leave him here, with nothing like he did to you. But you couldn’t. You felt better in his presence as he looked at you.
“I’ll allow it, but we take this slow.” All he could do was smile again and nod his head in understanding.
even if you didn’t trust him. he healed your heart in the matter of seconds.

It's almost addictive...no, he is addicted already. Fucking you standing, so close to the edge of a cliff or at the edge of a building is good...but not enough. my everything • ellie williams
a/n : fanfic idea where ellie’s spiderwoman and you’re tony stark’s daughter? idk, i might write this, i might not. i just wanted to get this out. [ both you and ellie are 18 y/o and seniors in high school ]
“just make a move on her.” jesse groaned, annoyed by your constant whining over the girl you share last period with.
“fuck, no.” you cursed. “she is way out of my league.”
“psh.” jesse scoffed. “she’s a loser, just like you. if anything, she’s right in your league.”
you rolled your eyes. “by out of my league i mean she’s hot and i’m—-“ you stepped outside the school building. “me.”
“you’re adorable.” jesse assured. “i would call you hot but you’re like my sister and i’d rather jump off a cliff than call my sister hot.”
you looked over at the disgusted look on his face and laughed. suddenly, you bumped shoulders with the girl you were just speaking about. “shit.” she cursed.
“i’m sorry, are you okay?” you nervously asked her, ignoring the pain coming from your shoulder.
“i’m fine, im the one who should apologize, i was in a rush and not paying attention.” she said, pushing a loose strand of her auburn hair behind her ear.
her pale green eyes left you in dreamy state. jesse quickly smacked your shoulder, urging you to say something to the girl you’ve been crushing on since freshmen year. you managed to cough out the first thing that popped into your head. “your eyes remind me of limes.”
“um…” ellie squinted her eyes in confusion. jesse face palmed, feeling the second hand embarrassment. “thanks…?”
“you’re welcome!” you said a bit too loudly, a big nervous smile plastered on your face.
“im gonna go now.” ellie smiled awkwardly.
you waved before she turned around to walk away.
“be careful, run responsibly!” you shouted. she turned her head to confirm she heard you while chuckling.
your smile immediately dropped when she disappeared into the building. “yeah she’s never going out with you now.”
you turned to jesse and punched his shoulder. “ow.”
“i gotta go.” you muttered.
“hey, i was joking.” jesse followed after you. “im sure she wasn’t too weirded out.”

unhinged dreamling modern au #409430950
the bachelor
dream is bribed, threatened, and/or physically dragged by his ankle into being on a dating show by death and desire (for very different reasons, death just wants him to be happy and is very very desperate at this point, desire's just fucking with him again), and needless to say dream is not the target candidate for this. at all. sure he's pretty and rich but he's also a complete asshole. this is destined to go poorly.
(unless you're the show's producers who just want an unhinged television trainwreck that keeps people in their seats, in which case it's fucking fantastic)
hob is also there as a contestant because he's bored, single, and always willing to do something stupid. everybody on the show is taking it seriously except for dream, who'd rather jump off a cliff than be here right now, and hob, who's just entertaining himself.
dream: this is stupid (hateful) hob: this is stupid (having the time of his life)
needless to say this whole thing is a disaster. normally contestants are clamoring for the 'bachelor's' attention but dream just keeps being an utter jerk to everyone, making them cry, and causing them to actually drop out of the show. contestants: "i'd rather die than be with you." dream: "glad we're finally on the same page." like. dream doesn't even have to actively eliminate people. they just eliminate themselves because he's so insufferable.
hob isn't put off, though, this whole thing is hilarious to him. dream tries scaring him off and hob just laughs like "oh you're so cute, this is great"
dream: i hope you die hob: you want me so bad it makes you look stupid
the more people drop out of the show the more time dream and hob end up spending together, by necessity. unfortunately for dream's sanity hob is actually very charming and fun and inexplicably good at getting dream to smile. they have at least one proper heart-to-heart and hob is so kind to him, and dream hates him soooo much for it.
(of course he actually likes him, and it's the worst thing that's happened to him, maybe ever. he's in agony. he wants off this ride, please. maybe he wants on a different ride ahem.)
so now hob's properly invested in this stupid game, he's like oh that wretched stick of a man is mine (literally nobody is challenging him but he's being super competitive about it anyway). all it really results in is dream being MORE of an asshole both to hob and to everybody else. (dream: one time i had a crush on this guy and i didn't know how to handle it so i just wrote him a letter saying get out of my tv show). and yet every week dream could eliminate hob from the show but he never does...
anyway soon enough literally every other contestant has dropped out of the show and it's JUST hob remaining and he basically wins by default. dream absolutely will not be beaten or outdone and is like fine hob i'll call your bluff. marry me if you're so committed to winning. hob's like, bet :) (see: always willing to do something stupid).
they do in fact get married because they're both incapable of conceding defeat. then they're like well. what do we do now...
dream: going to divorce me now and take half of my money? run with your spoils? hob: idk, are you going to divorce me and finally 'free yourself from the torment of my presence'? dream: *sniff* then you would win hob: then i bet i can stay in this relationship longer than you :) dream, gritting his teeth: bet
anyway they manage about two months before dream, perpetually in agony over how aggressively he's into hob, is like fine, i concede, i can't take it anymore. leave me if you want, take my money, i do not care, only free me from this pain. hob: so... i win? i get to choose the prize? dream, utterly defeated: whatever you want hob: okay! and he kisses him

Little Red Riding Hood where Reader is Little Red but also a werewolf
Love Interest and rest of chain can be assigned however
(Cause I'm always down for a fairytale au)
I did a little twist on this. Idk if this was what you wanted. I had to ask doggo experts for how doggos act around each other. I am leaving this off on a small cliff hanger because I do want to write more of this.
Twilight didn’t trust the new person in the group. Well. It’s more like he didn’t know what to think of her. She came in like a hurricane running after the Shadow like it was her prey. Then when the dust settled and she calmed down the group quickly learned of why. The short of it being that for some reason the Shadow attacked her brother and she took chase. Which then led to her to finally agree to join the chain. Much to the Ranchers chagrin. However, he knows better than to start an unnecessary fight. Twilight could be civil.
Civility could only go so far.
Little Red, as Warrior’s likes to call her, noticed Twilight’s presence and slight unease of her and ran with it. Twilight couldn’t understand just why she was always running circles around him talking about this and that. It confused him to no end when she instantly would stick to him even when he was wolfie. He had to on more then one occasion threaten to bite Little Red’s hands. She never cared or backed away from Wolfie when he showed a bit of aggression. “He is going to bite you.” Wild warned her as he watched Little Red try to play with Wolfie.
She looked up at Wild while holding Wolfie’s face, “what? No the baby is just playing.” That comment only made Twilight growl more.
“Baby? Wolfie isn’t a baby.” Wild was torn between being completely amuse and helping Twilight out as he did know about his slight distrust of Little Red.
“No no no, Champion. This is a wolf pup. He has to be like…” Her attention draws to the wolf as she observes the good boy. “Man… I have to say maybe 10? He is very small even for that age. Wolfie is like an adult dog size but he is definitely a wolf.” She boops the snoot and quickly pulled back as Twilight tries to bite her hand again. This only makes her giggle more.
“I think your wolves might be just bigger than my Hyrules.” Honestly to Wild, Wolfie was the same size as most wolves, but he just shrugs and not questions that further. Twilight couldn’t understand why you were like this, he wonders if it was just an eccentric thing. He has met a lot of weird people in his life and Little Red might be one of them. After being free from your grasp he takes it upon himself to run away for now. Only because you don’t tend to grab his face while being Twilight and thats the most annoying part of being wolfie around you.
It wasn’t until they finally came to her era that he finally understood.
The village Little Red lived in was small, but cozy. It reminded Twilight of his own home. People tended to light up when seeing Little Red. But given the size of the group following them most villagers tended to just say hi and remarks that they needed to talk to her later. “My house is a bit further.” Little red said pointing to a path that ran into the woods. “It’s just me, my brother and Grandma oh and our cat. I’ll make sure to keep her out of your stuff. But we should have room to fit everyone.” She explains as the path slowly clears up to a cottage in the wood with a small garden. There was a small pup running around in the yard playing with said cat. Who was purely annoyed at ready to pap the puppy in the head.
Little Red’s eyes brightened “Link!” She calls out gaining the Pups reaction.
She dashes towards the house as the puppy starts running towards her. They meet halfway and the puppy shifts into a young boy. “You’re back! You’re back!” This Link giggles as he gets lifted in the air by his sister and spun around.
“I am! For now.” Little red nuzzles her brother’s face as she shifts her grips on her brother to put his weight on her hip. “Boy’s this is my brother. Link these are the adventurers I’ve been traveling with.”
She turns to the group with a smile. The chain was utterly confused and silent before Wind speaks up “Did he transform into a wolf?”

want to make a post with all stuff that I have on Sasha Wolf AU
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Marcy meet Sasha in her human form for the first time
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Marcy came up with the name ‘Sasha’ cause of her favorite children’s book with princess with same name
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
complicated relationships between Sasha and Domino
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
here’s the story:
Marcy used to go several time into the forest that people usually avoid cause it’s dangerous and there are many rumors about the magical creatures living there but Marcy can’t hold her exploratory spirit and that’s where she meets Sasha for the first time
With ups and downs they’re start bonding, and with time they grow really close to each other, since Marcy not much content with life in her hometown, so she spends most of the time in the woods with Sasha, Sasha occasionally visits city in her human form to see Marcy, once after seeing other kids pick on Marcy, she jumps in front of them and starts growl, but since she looks like human she only gets laughed at as an outcome
When Marcy is 14 she decides leave/runaway from home and go explore the world, and of course she asks Sasha to go with her, so they start their adventure, in the process Marcy researching plenty of plants and creatures that helps with her studies with magic and potions, and parallel with the exploration of the world, they are trying to find any leads about any werewolves whereabouts cause not so long ago after Sasha’s birth, all other ones are disappeared (thanks to our beloved king but no one knows about it)
And that goes several years, until they helped to catch bursted into the city creature when they were visiting the fair in the capital and were noticed by the King. The King has a proposition - work for him, help him collect some magical creatures that ‘bother’ people around, Marcy’s thrilled to accept the job, but Sasha says she doesn’t trust him, to which Marcy brushes off like ‘you don’t trust ANY human’, but the King’s proposition goes with room in the castle and after years of wanderings they decides it might be nice to have a permanent place where they can return to, and free meals further strengthen this decision, so they take it
But after a few months, the true colors starts appear, and after unfortunate attempt to sneak in the King’s private room to grab one book, Marcy accidentally falls into a secret passage under it, and overhears crucial conversation between the King and someone else (Idk for now what exactly she hears and what exact King’s plans but after overhearing it she decides to steal very important for King’s plan thing and and she don't go unnoticed)
Marcy bursts into her room, telling Sasha they need to flee castle right now, and she has no time to explain, they're partly succeed in it but royal guards already on their tail, turned into a wolf with Marcy on her back, Sasha runs through the forest in the great storm (for the more effect) but she gets shot with an arrow what caused her to fall and knock off Marcy. With ground slippery from the rain, Marcy ends up holding on the cliff above the river, but her grip breaks and she falls into the water. Sasha dashes to the river, but all trying to find Marcy is in vain
Only a couple of days later, in a small village away from the capital, a girl with curvy hair during her routine finds unconscious Marcy on the river bank
Anne finds unconscious Marcy on the river bank during her morning work routine with Plantars. With Sprig and Polly's help, she drags her back to her house. Marcy sufferers from head injury and broken leg, so it takes time before she able to come to her senses, during that she probably couple times mistook Domino or Anne's hair for Sasha and tried to pat it. Once Marcy in her right mind, she is very grateful to Anne for rescuing her, to which Anne replies that she can stay here until she gets better. But soon Marcy has some explaining to do after Anne's parents spoted a wanted poster of her on village streets, so Marcy reveals all about about the King and why she's a fugitive criminal now. Anne is full head-on on believing Marcy, but mama and papa Boonchuy still skeptical about it, and not very much thrilled with the idea of one more kid living under their roof, who's also a bit shady. But their attitude changes after Marcy helps to fix and innovate some stuff at their house, and they grow to like her with time anyway (how can you not, it's Marcy), so later they're like 'would you like to stay forever?'
To avoid being noticed, Marcy stays on the territory of the Boonchuy's house for all time, and she is physically unable to go much further with her leg. In between helping around the house, she's inspecting the thing she stole from the King, it appears to be some kind of puzzle and she remember seeing King open it, but due to her head injury, she can't quite recall how exactly he did it (she did crack the puzzle but she's missing the key element to make it work)
Meanwhile, Sasha trying to find any signs of Marcy but water washed everything and it's impossible to catch even a glimpse of her presence. After a failed attempt of using her smelling senses, she thinks that maybe guards could already have found Marcy or know where she might be, so she knocks out one of them and steals their clothes, then cuts her hair for better disguise. Talking to the other guards hasn't made much progress in her search for Marcy, but at least she knows they haven't found her either, and it's easier to question those around you when you're in uniform. After weeks of searching, she thinks she has finally caught a familiar scent, but upon reaching her destination she sees not Marcy, but another girl, bewildered, she follows her home. And only then, taking off the upper part of the uniform and with the picture torn off from the wanted poster, she goes to confront the girl and asks about Marcy, to which girl baffled at first, but noticing the bit of clothing in Sasha's hand, she brushes her off telling 'she never seen this person before'. With further pressuring, Sasha gets only more lies and eventually a door slam into her face, understatement to say, she's not happy with such outcome cause she knows for sure Marcy's there and what if Marcy’s in trouble
Waking up at night, Anne noticed her cat meowing anxiously next to the door. She only manages to say 'hey, what's wrong buddy?' how monstrous beast, twice her size, bursts through the door and knocks her on the floor with hit of a claws, scratching her arm. Anne is scared as hell, and when an enormous jaw a meter away from her, Marcy breaks in between them with outstretched hands and shouts 'STOP', all commotion makes Anne's parents worryingly to come down too And here's Marcy, on one hand with uncontrollable Sasha, who without any chances will be able to turn into human in the near time, and one the other - wounded Anne and her parents, who are ready to make a new carpet for a living room, so the only reasonable solution that comes to her mind, - shout 'GO AWAY' to Sasha
And at this moment Sasha's heart breaks, cause the person who has been with her all her life, the person who she genuinely liked, the person whom she has been crazy looking for all the last weeks, not knowing if she is even still alive, the person whom she finally finds again after all this time and thinks she's in danger, yells at her to go away. Sadness gives way to anger when she hears Marcy screaming 'GO' again, filled with rage she runs off, breaking some stuff in the process. After Anne's wound taken care of and atmosphere is calm down a bit, Marcy apologized for what happened and tries to explain everything. Once sun starts to show, took one of her smell tracking potions and a bit of fur that stayed on the stuff, Sasha crushed into, Marcy goes to the forest to find her. Their reunion is not pretty, Sasha's still furious, keeps growl, and whatever other sounds wolf can do, at Marcy and crushing everything around. Only after a several tearful apologies and explanations that this family took care of her and she could not allow them, nor Sasha, get hurt, Sasha let Marcy to help her calm down. Once Sasha is able to turn into a human again, she doesn't speak, to defuse the situation Marcy tries to ruffle her hair saying 'I see you a got a new haircut' but Sasha only brushes her hand away. She agrees to go back with Marcy but she's still very much hurt
stuff from twitter:
When Marcy and Sasha first met, Sasha didn't talk, she intuitively understood some of the stuff Marcy's saying but most of the time she had no idea what she was babbling about but she didn't mind listening, Marcy didn't sound threatening
Marcy was to first one to braid Sasha's hair, she's also went through a bunch of different hairstyles but Sasha stooped at braid
Marcy build a little swings in the forest for her and Sasha
After Sasha and Marcy bonded a bit, Sasha saw a small scar on Marcy's hand that was left after her bite in one of their first meetings and she felt guilty, so Sasha tried to pressure Marcy to bite hers hand in return
In first winter Marcy was so afraid Sasha will get cold no matter the fact that she went by fine last winters, so Marcy brought her several blankets and some old clothes
In Sasha's first visit to the city she was overwhelmed with all new and unfamiliar smells
Sasha is more comfortable in her wolf form and more often sleeps in it
Sasha can’t turn into a human when she’s in the state of rage
Marcy nailing the potions stuff very well (she made potion for Sasha from fleas)
they almost always sleep next to each other, Marcy often just buries herself into Sasha’s fur
Sasha wasn't feeling very intimidating in her human form so Marcy got her a dagger
Sasha loves cutting stuff from the wood using this dagger
They had to switch bed to just a mattress on the floor in the castle room, cause the previous one crashed under Sasha's weight
Sasha on the daily basis has to brush Marcy's glasses from her forehead back to her nose bridge, cause Marcy will squint at the book, forgetting that she's not wearing them
One time Marcy with the words 'watch and learn how to make some money' jumped on a table in a pub with her violin and in the next second fell off it along with the table
Sasha afraid of thunder, Marcy hugs and holds her close during storms
When they wander in the woods separately, like Marcy goes exploring stuff or Sasha goes hunting, and something goes wrong, Sasha can just howl and Marcy will hear her, but Marcy doesn't have such a powerful voice range, so she always carries with her a small vial of spearmint essential oil, and if there's a danger of some sort she will open the vial or simple crash it, depends on situation, so if Sasha will sense a sudden familiar sense means something's up. But Marcy also accidentally crashes it or pours it out couple times, Sasha would huff at her in annoyance when she realizes nothing is wrong, after sprinting half of the woods, but she's glad Marcy is okay
After Sasha and Marcy got separated, all Sasha had left was Marcy's half thorn cape she found in the river
Marcy faked amnesia when she woke up at Boonchuy's so she won't have to tell them she's most likely considered as a kingdom's traitor at present moments, until wanted posters appears
Marcy mentions Sasha a lot of time while talking with Anne but she forgot to mention she's a werewolf so Anne has very ambiguous image of Marcy's friend until she meets her
Anne afraid Sasha will eat her cat
For a while Sasha keeps trolling Anne a bit about various stupid ways she can become werewolf too
Sasha grown to like Mama Boonchuy, she taught her how to do some of the house work
When Sasha and Marcy more or less reconciled, Sasha in her wolf form decided to go in the room where Marcy was sleeping to curl up next to her but she got stuck in a doorway

JUST YOU AND ME — TREVOR SPENGLER
pt.1 pt.2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: trevor spengler x fem! reader
warnings: 18+ content, making out , p in v sex , nothing too major ig idk
I was shocked at how non hesitant I was to leave the party with Trevor.
"Let's get out of here..." he whispers against my neck before pecking small kisses onto it. I ran my hands through his curls. "Just you and me," he adds.
Then again I did feel like we clicked the instant we made eye contact when I walked through that door.
The car was filled with drunken laughs and rambles, while some random music that I would've never listened to on my own played in the back round.
The windows were rolled down and the feeling of the wind blowing my hair slightly every which way gave me a sense of freedom.
Trevor gave me a sense of freedom.
I had no idea where he was heading to and I had a slight feeling he didn't either.
Until we pulled into a small cliff with the most beautiful view I've ever seen.
"you're not about to murder me are you?" I look towards him making a laugh escape from his lips.
He pulled me closer towards him. his lanky fingers tracing my jaw and our noses touching slightly. He kisses my lips so softly.
"I would never wanna hurt you.." he whispers, his lips planting kids down to my neck.
A small moan leaves my mouth. I place my hand onto his shoulder, feeling his kisses get more needy I through my head back while my fingers tangle into his perfect curls.
He pulls away , my body missing him already.
"Was that okay?" He looks at my eyes to my lips then back into my eyes while I nod.
He pecks my lips once making me giggle then multiple more times as we laugh between kisses.
"I think the back it a hundred times more comfortable, what do you think?" his voice was so raspy and so addicting to hear.
"I think.. we'll have to see for ourselves" I get out the front seat to move to the back leaving him in awe before he follows me to the back.
Once he's in the back with me I waste zero time getting on top of him. One leg on each side as we made out.
Saying this again I've never felt so comfortable with someone so quickly. He was so amazing and got me excited.
If this were any other guy I probably would've never left that party , much less be having sex with them within a couple hours of knowing them, but Trevor wasn't like any other guy. which is what made it so much more easier to be here with him.
In the back of his car.
Making out.
"Are you okay?" He says as he pulled away breathlessly. I nod as he plants a soft kiss onto my forehead before holding me from my back a slowly laying me down onto the car seat while he hovered over me.
" 'sure you still wanna do this?" he asked. I looked him straight in the eyes. He was so perfect.
"I wouldn't wanna do this with anyone else" I responded gently.
"I'm gonna take this off , okay?" he says , rubbing my sides. In response I help in remove my blouse deciding to move a bit quicker I remove my bra knowing he was watching me.
I look over at him , his mouth slightly open and his brows slightly lifted. "Don't you think you should remove you're shirt too?" I ask with a small chuckle.
"Oh right!" he says snapping out of his thoughts as he removes his t-shirt throwing it somewhere off to the side.
I place my hands on his chest running my fingers down it as we make eye contact.
My hands leave his chest then meet he button of my jeans I look back at him , then just remove my bottoms along with my panties.
I wanted to seem a bit bold so I reach for his belt , removing it slowly while teasingly having my hand on his crotch.
"You gonna take them off?" I ask , he nods slowly taking off his pants and boxer as I decide to lay back.
He then hovers over me again, "You really beautiful" he whispers moving a strand of hair out of my face.
I smile up at him , "um.. do you have condoms?" I ask him nervously.
"oh shit yea.." he reaches over to the glove department coming back with a condom.
He notices a questionable look on my face , "Perks of having a hovering mom" he reassures. I chuckle watching him put the condom on.
He clears his throat , "Have you done this before?"
I nod my head "Have you?"
"I mean not really" he says awkwardly " I mean no" he seemed embarrassed.
"Hey, it's okay" I lift his head "My first time wasn't anything I wanted it to be so we can basically experience this and learn together, okay?"
he smiles "okay"
"you can start.." I plant kisses on his jaw he moans slightly making him grind against me causing me to moan.
"fuck" he breaths out taking his fingers to run them through my folds making me jump a little. "oh shit finn-" my words are cut bye my moans as he stick a finger in and then another and curling them inside me.
"fuck you're so good at that!" I shut my eyes throwing my head back.
my eyes snap open as his fingers slip out of me , but that missing feeling is soon gone as he sticks his dick inside of me slowly as I enjoy the feeling of his length filling me.
"oh God-" I whine his cock stretching me out on the most pleasurable way.
" shit.." he says as he's fully in , he begins to create a smooth and steady rhythm in and out of me.
"finn!" I moan out , he became a bit more rough with each thrust making the both of us weaker and seconds away from spilling out.
"God finn don't stop" my nails dig into his back making him whimper out of slight pain and pleasure.
his hand reaches for my clit rubbing it as he thrusts deeply making me feel amazing.
I hide my face into his neck feeling my self come near my edge. "I know your close.." he whispers "I am too" he groans
the car filled with moans and whimpers, and the temperature was more heated.
a chain of moans escapes both our mouths as we finally reach out highs.
finn drops on top of me as we try and catch our breathes, "fuck that was amazing" he says breathlessly.
I swallow trying to breathe "yea.. it was" he looks up at me before planting kisses onto my forehead.
we spent most of the night in his car enjoying one anothers company and just resting together.

what it means to believe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis ; itoshi sae doesn’t believe you and him could exist. but the universe is against him and helps him realize that maybe it can.
pairing ; itoshi sae + fem!reader
notes ; dramatic!sae, possible ooc!sae, a LOT of pining, angst?? idk, fluff, cute lil brother rin, strangers to friends to strangers to friends to lovers, fake dating. first bllk fic yuhh
word count ; 4.2k
Tumblr media
SIXTEEN.
itoshi sae wants you. but he knows all too well that even though you’d make him a good person, he makes you a bad person. he’s not good enough for you.
which is why you believe itoshi hates you.
every day he enters your classroom, those pretty teal eyes not sparing even a flicker towards you, despite the fact you sat next to him.
that is exactly sae’s problem—he’s hanging on the edge of a cliff, sitting here next to you. he’s holding on to his final pieces of dignity just trying not to turn around and look at your pretty face.
as much as it twists his blocked off heart, he settles with your fallen lips and downturned eyes because he’d rather you hate him than let himself fall into your innocent smile. he wouldn’t fill you with that false hope, because in the end he’d ruin you.
you didn’t deserve someone who would prioritize a sport over relationships. soccer meant too much to him.
SEVENTEEN.
he told himself he wouldn’t get attached, but deep down he knew somehow, because fate had its ways, he would. he always knew at some point, he would fall from that ledge he’d been hanging on since he was sixteen.
turns out, he was falling today.
ring! ring!
“rin! go open the door, that’s your new babysitter,” mrs. itoshi calls from the living room. she turns to her older son, “can you go with him, sae?”
internally groaning, sae gets up and follows his green-haired brother to the gigantic front door of their luxurious house. to his surprise, rin was already there, chatting cheerfully with his new babysitter. odd—rin wasn’t usually chatty with his caretakers.
“i know you!” rin jumps, pointing to the babysitter’s face. sae wonders who it must be for rin to recognize you so excitedly.
“oh really? where from?” the voice is sweet, sounding too much like something sae knew all too well—
“my brother’s phone! he says you’re the prettiest girl—”
before rin can finish, sae appears in the doorway, hand over his brother’s mouth and ears blending into his pink hair. you stare at the sight, eyes wide in bewilderment.
“stop lying,” sae says firmly. “i never said that.”
rin whacks sae’s hand off. “you did, though.”
“i’ll play soccer with you later if you don’t talk about it.”
you watch, amazed, as rin looks up at his brother in utmost adoration and disbelief, “promise?”
sae nods, and rin runs away with the biggest smile you’d ever seen.
now, it was just you and sae. you and the guy you were convinced hated you. sae and the girl who soccer stood in the way of. in another universe, one where sae didn’t love soccer as much as he did, he thinks you could be standing here as part of the itoshi family, rather than just “rin’s new babysitter.”
but it seemed like this universe was against sae, because he just about died inside when you smirked at him, voice full of mocking as you say, “so, the prettiest, hm?”
his hand let go of the cliff in that moment, and he knew he was screwed.
EIGHTEEN.
you’ve been rin’s longest-standing babysitter thus far, lasting a year now. but you’re not sure if it’s because you’re a special babysitter, or because you happen to be attracted to rin’s older brother.
you were seventeen when you were sure itoshi sae hated you.
but now you’re eighteen and believe something exists between you.
you’d be stupid not to. stupid not to notice the way he greeted you at the front door every time you came over, his teal eyes flitting to you whenever he came home to the sight of you and rin playing soccer in the backyard, your favorite snacks you only told him about always fully stocked in their pantry. and especially stupid to not notice the smiles he let escape his lips whenever you made an effort to talk to him before you left. it made you feel special knowing you were the only person at school who knew that smile.
but then you realize; maybe you were stupid. because somehow, without knowing, you managed to fumble and a week after sae’s eighteenth birthday, he disappeared.
sae could tell you thought you were stupid. he knew from the fallen smile every time you watched him head straight to his room and hide when he came home, acting like you weren’t there. slowly returning to the ignorance you thought you’d escaped when you were seventeen.
he wishes he could tell you that in truth, he was the stupid one. stupid for allowing those heart-turning moments to happen. he hates himself for being so stupid.
because he knew you and him—“us”—couldn’t exist. together wasn’t fate. he hates himself for not having enough self-restraint to stop talking to you, giving you that hopeful shine in your eyes, when he knew this would happen the whole time.
“this” being soccer. fuck. it was always soccer for him.
which is why it didn’t take him a second thought to accept the letter in his hands inviting him to play for the royales in spain. the flight was already two months from now.
so sae used every ounce of self-restraint his body owned, and left you alone for two months. still, he couldn’t help himself from watching through his bedroom window as you and rin played soccer, wishing that proud look in your eyes every time rin scored a perfect goal would be coming with him to cheer him on in the frontlines in spain instead.
two months later, a week after landing in spain, you still haven’t left sae’s mind. he knew he distanced from you in his last months in japan, trying to nonverbally tell you that together wouldn’t happen for you two; yet you wouldn’t listen. of course you didn’t. hopeful, cheerful you wouldn’t let go of him that easily.
so he allows himself this once to look at the message you sent him, asking to talk, at a photo he took of you that week before he ceased to be in your life. as he leaves the messages on sent, watching the date under your last text get further in the past, he realizes that now you’re really gone. he misses those scraps of together you had.
hah. he could almost laugh at how cruel the world was for giving you both a taste of what could’ve been.
TWENTY-ONE.
at twenty-one, itoshi sae has become one of the world’s best midfielders. and with that, of course came delusional and obsessive fans.
he hadn’t properly dated anyone since he’d moved abroad—didn’t care enough for more than an occasional one-night stand. soccer took up his time anyways.
but part of him wonders that maybe, in those small moments with you so long ago when you were seventeen, part of him allowed himself to save himself for you. not that he would ever admit it.
nonetheless, his media manager wouldn’t allow him to say he didn’t care, so he begrudgingly agreed to respond with “it’s none of your business who i’m dating.” when the painfully annoying interviewers bombard him with personal questions after every game.
unfortunately, his media manager was getting tired. “you need to spark some rumors to the public, sae. the fans will get bored.”
“rumors about my love life have nothing to do with soccer. if all the fans want are updates on my love life, then they shouldn’t be fangirling over a soccer player.”
“you have the business party tomorrow night. how about i sign you up with someone to bring? you don’t need to talk or anything. just stay with her for the night. it will at least help your image with the soccer companies.”
sae didn’t have the energy for arguing. “i’ll do it as long as i get to choose who i’m bringing.” his manager lit up at the agreement.
later, sae realizes as he knocks on his apartment neighbor’s door in search of a fake date, that this is the stupidest thing he could be doing. he could only hope his neighbor wasn’t some old man and he wasn’t about to get in more trouble than he signed up for.
luckily, it wasn’t. in fact, it was you.
sae swears he nearly faints. you watch, jaw unhinged in pure disbelief as his teal eyes blink twice before returning to their original stoic expression. three years older than you were when he left, he notices you’ve matured, somehow prettier. he didn’t know that was possible.
“sae?” you squeak. god, he missed that so much. missed the way his name rolled of your tongue and how you’d have to look up him with that hopeful expression of yours every time you said it.
“y/n.” he had practiced how to ask on his way home, but didn’t expect to be saying it to you standing in the apartment complex hallway wearing shorts and an oversized t-shirt. all the words disintegrate on his tongue. “i need a fake date for a business party tomorrow.” he wants so slap himself for sounding so dumb. what happened to “hi! how are you?”
it takes a while for you to register his words. you’re a bit shocked, not only that sae was here, in front of you, after three years, but also because all the interviews led you to believe he had a girlfriend. you wouldn’t be lying if you said you weren’t glad at the fact he was single. “oh! i would, but i just moved in yesterday…i don’t have anything nice to wear.”
he watches your smile falter the slightest bit, feeding his sliver of hope that maybe, just maybe, you wanted to go with him. he’s so selfish for this, letting you back into his life and feeding your hope again, even knowing he wasn’t right for you. “wait.”
he reaches into his back pocket, pulling out his wallet and shuffling through to find two 100 dollar bills, handing them to you. “here. buy yourself something nice. i’ll pick you up here at 6:30 PM tomorrow.”
“are you sure?” you hand back one of the bills. “i don’t need that much.”
“no. i’m sure.” he gulps. does he sound desperate? “treat yourself to something nice.”
“we’ll, if you insist. thank you, sae! i’ll see you tomorrow. it was nice seeing you after so long,” you smile up at him, and sae has to fight back his own.
“yeah. thank you.”
you shut the door. for a moment sae stands in the empty hallway, staring at your door.
the universe really was against him, leading you back to him after he detached himself so long ago.
after a restless night of thinking about a certain someone and a morning practice in which his teammates picked at him for being out of the game for some reason, it was finally time for the dinner party. he knocks on your door, and when you open it, his mind goes blank at the sight of you. he thinks he’s going insane.
how could he not, when you’re standing there looking like that. he’s glad he let you treat yourself, because you choose a dress in a color that complimented your skintone and hugged the shape of your body perfectly. he doesn’t know how it’s possible, but the makeup you put on made you look even prettier, even under the dull apartment hallway lighting.
he still isn’t over how breathtaking you are three hours into the party. true to fake dating fashion, you and sae stay next to each other the entire night, occasionally drifting into separate conversations. you find that many people are quite interested in you and sae’s “relationship” since he’d been so secretive of it. thankfully, on the car ride to the party you and sae had figured out your fake backstory. although it wasn’t so fake, considering you told them you were childhood best friends and happened to reunite due to both of you going abroad for soccer and college.
being with you the entire night filled the void in sae’s heart that had settled when he left you in japan. being around you reminded him that happiness is a thing that just, exists. he thought soccer was enough to make him feel whole, but you brought in so many emotions he couldn’t feel with anything or anyone else.
so later that night, when you’re too drunk to be alone, sae lets you lean against him on the way to your apartment, lets you pull him into the couch with him and wrap his arms around you because it felt right. when he feels you fall asleep in his arms, he knows he’s doomed for anyone else’s embrace. no one can compare to you.
TWENTY-TWO.
“do you really want to do this?” sae whispers into your ear.
“shut up and kiss me, everyone’s staring.”
you lean in, hand tugging on the black tie of the suit he was wearing to tonight’s party. you’ve been fake dating for a year now, so the kiss to seal everyone’s belief was inevitable. it was right here, your eyes starting to flutter as you both lean in, breath hot and tense against each other—
“stop.” sae pulls away at the last second, leaving you in front of the party as he shamefully walks out the venue.
he can’t do this. he can’t kiss you like this. it’s not like he doesn’t want to—in fact, it’s all he’s ever wanted since he was sixteen. but he doesn’t want the first kiss with you to be for a crowd. he wants it to be out of love. a foolish part of him in that moment five seconds ago thought maybe there was something like love about to be shared in that kiss, but the sensible part of him wasn’t so sure. how can he believe its love if he doesn’t even know its real? how can he believe all those smiles across the room and moments drunk after a party in your living room weren’t for the facade?
“itoshi sae!” he’s outside, on the stairs of the grand venue at midnight when he feels your wrist grab his. he can feel about a hundred emotions in the tightness of your grip.
“what the hell was that?!” you’re fighting back waterworks. “itoshi sae! look at me for fucks sake!”
slowly, he turns around to face you. those teal eyes you loved so much take a moment to lock onto your teary ones, hesitant as he knows he’ll crumble at the responsibility of those tears. yet, his face is still stoic as he listens to you talk.
“are you dumb?!” yeah, he thinks.
“you can’t lead me to believe there was something between us, the same way you did when we were seventeen, and then let it all come crashing down by running away the moment you have to make it look real by kissing me! you confuse me, itoshi sae. i don’t care abut this fucking fake relationship anymore! i don’t care that everyone knows we were pretending to date! goddammit, sae, i just need you to talk to me! tell me what’s real, because i can’t keep doing this if its leading me down to unknown—”
oh.
oh.
suddenly all the words you had spat on him dissolved in the air, replaced by the enamor of his lips landing on yours.
your eyes shut, letting yourself fall into this one kiss that held the feelings of it all—every single happening between you since you met in that classroom when you were sixteen. it’s an initially reluctant kiss; sae’s lips are slow and tentative against yours, almost like he’s scared he’s touching a piece of artwork on display, like if he moves even slightly wrong he’ll mess it all up. but then it all feels right, and your lips are against each other like that was how they were sculpted to be.
later that night, sae decides that together could exist. and with the words “can you be my girlfriend?” he made it real. maybe the universe wasn’t against him after all.
TWENTY-THREE.
a year after you start dating, sae has said i love you in every way but “i love you.”
you’re his happiness. you’re everything he didn’t know he could have when it was just him and soccer. you complete itoshi sae. and he makes sure you know that.
he says it in his expression whenever teammates or business partners will tell him “i’ve never seen you so happy before” when he walks into the room after kissing you goodbye, trying to stifle a giddy grin and keep up the stoic itoshi sae they all know.
“you’re sunshine as a person. i hope you know that.” is what he said a month after it was official, five seconds before the photo you forced him to take with you at the beach was taken, which is now the photo on his lockscreen that captures the lovesick look that never ceased even after a year.
he says it in every kiss you share before every game, the discreet grins he gives you after he scores that he hides from cameras because he wants to save you from the public.
“you’re the prettiest girl i’ve ever laid my eyes on.” as quiet whispers against your ear when you put on a dress he bought for you for the business parties or fancy dinner dates that long ceased to be fake.
he says it whenever you get mad at him, and he knows he’s wrong, but hates being scolded by you so he pinches your cheeks with his thumb and index finger to shut you up, loving your flustered expression whenever he does it.
“i’ll never get tired of you.” whenever you feel like you’re not enough for the world-famous midfielder that so many girls would die for.
he says it in the way he falls into your body, arms and legs wrapping around any part of your body he can reach and shutting his eyes, not saying a word as you tease him for being so spent after his tough workout routines.
“no.” whenever you ask for him to do something because you’re absolutely beat and too tired from work to be bothered to do late-night house chores, but you can already hear his feet tapping against the floors as he gets up to do it for you.
he says it in the cocky look he gives to the camera, the public being able to see it but the look in his eyes only being reserved for you, whenever the interviewers ask “who’s the lucky girl?” and he responds with “none of the media’s business.” his manager always gets mad for coming off as rude, but sae doesn’t care if it means protecting you from crazy fangirls.
“doesn’t mean i don’t want to spend every second of my day with you.” when you insist on staying out of his way on his busier days but he wants you by his side when he has small breaks.
he says it in his expression whenever you make him do something he says is “dumb,” but because you’re doing it with him you can tell just from his pink ears and bright teal eyes that he loves it.
needless to say, when you’re stood at the itoshi mansion’s front door, grocery bag in hand as you just came back from a quick run during you and sae’s week-long visit to japan, you’re all but shocked when your boyfriend opens the door and says “i love you.”
you aren’t sure what triggers him to say it at such a random time. maybe it’s because this place that you stood at six years ago when you were seventeen, exchanging words for the first time, made sae think about just how lucky he was to have you in this life. there was no more thinking about universes where “us” existed, because this it. but either way, it feels right.
“i love you too, sae.”
TWENTY-FOUR
the words “i love you” still give you and sae the same giddy feeling a year later.
“i love you,” sae slurs, voice still deep from morning fatigue. he traces figures of your names, soccer balls, his number “10” on your back with his finger, his other arm holding you secure as you lay on top of him. you look pretty like this, he thinks, bathed in the morning sunlight that filters through his bedroom window and eyes still slightly puffy from just waking up.
“again,” you smile into his chest, urging him on.
“i love you.”
“again.”
“i love you.”
“running out of oxygen here, love.”
you laugh at that, but insist anyways. “again.”
“no.”
“wow, sae. i guss you don’t love me anymore. how fake of you.”
your boyfriend sighs at your antics, “i loved you when you first got sat next to me when we were sixteen and in highschool, and i’ll love you forever.”
you give him a kiss, muttering the words back.
“speaking of,” you start, “i thought you hated me in highschool.”
“no. but i hate you now for bringing it up.”
you slap him on his arm. a moment of silence.
“i was just scared. you were too good for me, and i knew i wouldn’t be enough because i prioritized soccer more than anything. i didn’t think we could be together until you became my neighbor. then i thought that maybe we could.” he hides his face in your hair to hide his flush.
that rises a teasing grin out of you, giving him a quick peck on the lips, “i didn’t know mr. grumpy had it in him to be so romantic! what starcrossed love.”
“shut up, y/n.”
the bedroom is filled with quiet laughter. as it falls, his mind thinks back to the letter hidden in his closet, inviting him to play for japan’s national team with the newly rebuilt team that came out of the blue lock project. he was willing to sign up, as he had seen firsthand a couple years ago how powerful japan’s team was with their new striker. but it required him to move back to japan.
“y/n.”
“yeah?”
he’s scared. even though you had just been joking about it, he was still scared this would be the moment where his soccer career ruins it all for you. what if you weren’t willing to move back to japan with him?
“i’ve been invited to play for japan’s national team.”
he lets the words sit in the air, lets you process it. he gets nervous as each second comes by without response, then it finally comes.
“okay. if this means going back to japan, i don’t mind. i’ll go wherever you go, sae.”
“are you sure?”
“i mean it when i say this is the place i want to be. anywhere with you.”
god, he didn’t think he could love you any more. he presses a kiss to your lips.
once, when he was sixteen, itoshi sae firmly believed that soccer would get in the way of you and him.
now, he is twenty-four and laughs at his past self for thinking that. you were his, and nothing would ever get in the way of that.
TWENTY-FIVE
you and sae moved to japan a month ago, in your shared apartment. you would be lying if you said you didn’t like it here more. you especially like being able to be close to the itoshi family, specifically rin. you often spent time with the younger itoshi when sae was busy.
today, though, was sae’s turn to visit his family. he had something important to talk to them about.
rin greets him at the front door, telling sae that their parents wouldn’t be home until an hour from now. the pink-haired was too lazy to make the trip and back, so the brothers settled on playing soccer in the back while waiting. sure enough, after half an hour they found themselves sweaty and panting on the grass. it’s quiet until rin lets out words he’d been holding.
the green-haired turns, looks at his brother. “y/n’s good for you.”
although a bit taken aback, sae remains cool. he almost chuckled. “i would hope so. i’ve been dating her for three years.”
“you should marry her.”
to rin’s surprise, sae snickers, hand discreetly moving towards his pants pocket. “i know. already got the ring.”

In Loving Memory
Pairings: Various Genshin Men x Isekai'd!Reader
Summary: While exploring Inazuma, Watasumi Island, and Stormterror's Lair with the men, you guys run into people with familiar faces.
Note: I need to change my posting schedule because it's no longer being posted on Saturday because of how busy I am with school work 🥹 Ah, idk how to feel about this fic in particular. This idea has been in my orbit for a while, and I think it's time to write a story on it! For those who have been following me for a while on Tumblr, some of you might remember this idea that I talked about on my page a few months prior. Anyway! To all of my new readers and returning readers, I don't post anywhere else but on Tumblr (Genshinluvr) and on AO3 (Aaliah_exo).
Warnings: None that I know of 🤔 maybe mentions of the death of a dearly beloved friend(s)? Mentions of a wound.
Word Count: 9.2k
The sun is high in the sky, shining on your face, almost blinding you. You held your hand up to your face to shield your eyes from the blinding sunlight. You walked over to the edge of the cliff and sat down with your legs hanging off the edge. Today was another day of your exploration of Inazuma, though you’re not exploring the region on your own. The men are your tour guides, mainly the Inazuman men, when you’re exploring the nations.
“What do you think about Inazuma so far, [Y/N]? Way better than Liyue, I bet!” Itto says, plopping down beside you with a big smile on his face.
Zhongli rubs his temples with an irritated sigh, his eyebrows furrowing. “While Inazuma is a beautiful region, I believe that you can talk highly about another nation without bringing the others down,” Zhongli stated, shooting a glare in Itto’s direction.
You give Zhongli’s hand a light squeeze. You turn to Itto with a smile on your face. “Inazuma is beautiful! I love seeing the difference between the regions we’ve explored!” You said.
“What’s your favorite part about exploring Inazuma?” Gorou asks, plopping down next to you while gazing at you curiously.
“And you can’t mention that you like the food because we all know you love trying food from various regions.” Childe teases you, ruffling your hair as he walks up behind you, standing beside Zhongli.
“Oh man, you got me there.” You grumbled, lightly tapping Childe’s legs as he snorted at your response. “Other than the food, my favorite part about exploring Inazuma is seeing Cyno shock the sakura blooms and being able to see the gorgeous view.” You said, pointing to the view of the sea.
“Don’t other regions have a nice view too?” Heizou asks, popping up from Itto’s side.
You nod your head. “Yes, other regions have a beautiful view as well! That’s what makes every nation unique from one another. These regions have so much to offer, and it’s a shame that I can’t wake up every day to see all of these sceneries at once.” You sigh wistfully.
“Speaking of food, is anyone here getting a bit famished? The smell of street vendors is making my stomach growl.” Aether says, rubbing his growling stomach.
“We did have breakfast, but that was a few hours ago. I think it’s about to be lunchtime,” You said. “Do any of you want me to buy lunch? I can grab something for us to eat while we have a picnic under the tree shade.” You got up from your spot and dusted your clothes off.
Kazuha walks over to you with a smile on his face. “May I accompany you?” Kazuha asks, looking at you curiously— the way he stares at you with curiosity, his head tilting to the side, reminding you of a confused yet curious puppy.
You smile back at Kazuha. “Of course you can, Kazuha! I’d love to have you keep me company and help me bring back lunch for everyone,” You said.
Before you and Kazuha walk off, Diluc grabs you by your wrist and gently pulls you to him. “Do you need any mora for the food? Buying food for this many people can be expensive,” Diluc says, crossing his arms over his chest.
You shook your head. “No mora needed, Diluc! I bought mora with me!” You said proudly, pulling a bag of mora out from your bag and holding it up to show to Diluc and the others. “See! I’m prepared this time with the moras I’ve earned from working at the Maid cafe.” You smile widely.
“You mean the job you worked at in the past?” Scaramouche asks, looking over at you with his eyebrows raised.
You pursed your lips together and nodded your head slowly. “Yes, Scaramouche. That is correct.” You were about to walk off before it dawned on you. You turned towards the other men and looked at them curiously, pointing at the group. “Is there any specific food you guys want to eat?” You ask.
“I think any food should be good as long as there’s no ingredient that we’re allergic to. And by we, I mean Itto.” Thoma says, pointing his thumb over to the oni.
“Of course! I’ll make sure to order food that doesn’t have any ingredients that any of you could be allergic to,” You said. “Anything else you guys want me to make a note of?” You question, putting the bag of mora into your bag.
“If you’re able to, maybe have the restaurant label some of the food containers so some of us wouldn’t accidentally try something we’re not fond of,” Venti suggested.
Your eyes light up, and you nod your head. “Right! Can’t forget about the labels.” You said.
After gathering information and suggestions from the men, you and Kazuha walk to the biggest restaurant in Inazuma. Entering the restaurant, you and Kazuha noticed that it was quite a full house; therefore, it might take some time to order food to go.
“Do you want to order, or do you want me to order?” Kazuha asks. He glances over at the menu and then looks over at you.
You pressed your lips into a thin line before answering, “Both of us can order something! After all, I wouldn’t know what to pick for the others to eat.” Kazuha nods his head and grabs you by your wrist, and leads you to the front of the restaurant, where the menu hangs.
Both you and Kazuha stood at the front of the restaurant, pondering what you two should order for the other men. Before you made an order, you and Kazuha strictly told the workers not to add any beans to the food that may have it as an ingredient. Once you and Kazuha were able to order food for everyone, you handed the bag of mora over to the cashier.
“It’s a lot of food, but at least everyone will be satisfied with what we ordered for them!” You smiled happily.
Kazuha quickly excuses himself for a moment, saying something about how he’s going to take a restroom break and will be returning momentarily. You nodded your head and watched Kazuha walk to the small room at the corner of the restaurant where the restroom was located. You weaved through a crowd of people, trying to get to the wall to wait for your order. Your foot gets caught in one of the loose boards of the restaurant.
Just when you were close to hitting the floor, someone reached out and caught you by your waist and your biceps. The person helps you up and pushes through the crowd of customers in the restaurant, muttering something under their breath. You and the stranger stood by the wall, away from the large group of people in the restaurant.
“Are you okay?” The man asks, squatting down in front of you to get a clear look at your face.
You give the man a grateful smile and nod your head. “Thank you for saving me from hitting my head on one of those wooden stools. It would’ve been bad if it did happen.” You reply.
You feel heat rush to your cheeks when you realize how attractive your savior is. You blinked and came to a realization after getting a much closer look at him. The blond male looks at you curiously before standing back up, towering over you.
“Do you… know Kazuha by any chance?” You whispered.
His eyes light up. “Of course I do! He’s my best friend! Do you know him by any chance?” He asks, tilting his head to the side while leaning on the wall with his right arm propping him up. You smile widely and nod your head at his question. Now, how in the world are you going to tell him that you’re dating him along with twenty other men? Now that you think about it, would it be a good idea to let him know that you’re dating his best friend?
“We’re actually dating!” You said, feeling your cheeks becoming hot.
The man’s eyes widen. “You two are dating?! And he didn’t tell me?!” The blond man gasps dramatically. “That punk, hiding his cute lover from his own best friend.” He clicks his tongue with disapproval, and the corners of his lips quirked up.
“He has talked about you a lot; Kazuha speaks very highly of you.” You said softly, and a tiny smile appeared on your face.
“My name’s Tomo, in case he hasn’t told you my name yet,” Tomo says, holding his hand out for you to shake.
You grab Tomo’s hand and shake it firmly. “It’s nice to finally meet you, Tomo! My name’s [Y/N].”
“[Y/N], huh? A fitting name for someone as cute as you,” Tomo says. He reaches up and pinches your cheeks lightly with a grin on his face.
You glared at Tomo and lightly slapped his hand away from your face. “Hey, no pinching! That is reserved for my boyfriends only!” You huffed, looking away from Tomo.
Tomo’s eyebrows quirk up at your comment. “BoyfriendS? As in more than one person?” Tomo asks, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Yes.” You muttered under your breath, continuing to look away from Tomo.
Tomo chuckles. “Listen, I’m not judging you, alright? I can see why so many men want to date you. You’re adorable!” Tomo says, patting the top of your head with an endearing smile on his face.
“Say….” You trailed off when you caught the sight of his electro vision. “What’s it like to have a vision?” You ask, looking over at Tomo curiously.
Tomo raises an eyebrow at you. “Do you not have a vision?” His eyes scan your body for a vision.
You shook your head at his question. “I don’t have a vision, but it’d be pretty cool if I got one!” You said, smiling at Tomo. If you were from Teyvat, that is.
“Hm, well, having a vision is like—”
“[Y/N]!” You turn towards the direction where the voice came from and see Kazuha emerging from the crowd of people. Kazuha’s eyes land on you, and a relieved smile appears on his face.
“There you are! I was worried that you might’ve left.” Kazuha says, stopping in front of you.
You smile and pat Kazuha’s cheek. “No need to worry, Kazuha! I was just talking to—” you turn to face Tomo only to see that he is gone. “Huh. That’s odd. He was just here a second ago.” You muttered.
“Boo.”
You let out a gasp and jolt in your spot. Your head snaps towards the direction where the voice came from, only to see Kazuha and Tomo doubling over each other, their bodies shaking, their hands covering their mouths. You cursed under your breath before lightly hitting both Kazuha and Tomo’s arms, face heating up.
“That’s not funny! Stop laughing!” You whine, stomping your feet on the ground before turning to look away from the two men with your arms over your chest.
“I didn’t know you were jumpy.” Tomo teases, poking your ribcage lightly.
You growled and slapped Tomo’s hands away from your ribcage. Tomo snorts, throws his arms around your shoulders, and pulls you to his side while rubbing the top of your head with his knuckles.
“Ow! Ow! Unhand me, you uncivilized fool!” You hissed, thrashing around in his arms. “I don’t care how handsome you are!” You added, jabbing him in the ribs with your index and middle finger.
“Wow, feisty one, aren’t you?” Tomo lets out a burst of boisterous laughter.
Kazuha stands to the side and watches you and Tomo bicker with a look of amusement on his face. Not once did he imagine you, his significant other, meeting Tomo, his best friend, only to bicker like siblings. After what felt like an hour, Tomo finally releases you from the clutches of his hands and gives you an innocent smile, as if he didn’t mess up your hair and poke you in the ribs moments ago.
“I think our food is ready to go. If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get the food.” You huffed, walking away from Kazuha and Tomo, weaving through the crowd of people waiting to be seated or just waiting for their take-out orders.
Once you had successfully pushed through the crowd of patrons, you grabbed the bag that had your and Kazuha’s name on it before walking back to where Kazuha and Tomo stood. The paper bag was heavy; no surprise there. You’re just glad that they labeled the take-out boxes, or else someone is going to be eating something they’re not too fond of.
“Our food is ready! Should we go back to the guys now? I bet they’re starving.” You said, adjusting the paper bags in your hands.
“Here, let me help you with that,” Tomo says. Tomo reaches down and grabs two out of five bags from your grasp and smiles at you. “The bag looks heavy; we wouldn’t want you to drop it because of the weight,” Tomo adds.
You cocked your eyebrow at Tomo. “What? Trying to save face now after what you have done to me?” You huffed, looking away from Tomo, your eyebrows furrowing.
“Oh, come on [Y/N]! Don’t be like that.” He pouts at you while batting his eyelashes.
You mumble to yourself and hand the other bag to Kazuha, who is stifling his laughter behind his pursed lips. You, Kazuha, and Tomo walk back to where the men were sitting, patiently waiting for you and Kazuha to come back with food to eat. Upon your, Kazuha, and Tomo’s arrival, the men hound the three of you for food.
“Who’s that guy?” Dainsleif asks, gesturing his head toward Tomo’s direction before slurping up the udon noodles.
You hum and wipe your lips on your napkin. “That’s Tomo, Kazuha’s best friend! I met him today while Kazuha and I were ordering food.” You reply, lifting up your chopsticks to grab the imitation crab and munch on it.
Xiao cocks his eyebrows at you. “I thought you hated seafood.”
“I do, but imitation crab is excused from my hatred towards seafood.” You reply, shoveling glass noodles into your mouth, almost moaning from how delicious the food tasted.
Kaeya rests his head on your shoulders before stealing a piece of your narutomaki. “Is there a reason why you dislike seafood?” He asks, pressing a quick kiss on your cheeks after putting the narutomaki into his mouth.
“My family was obsessed with seafood! They would always have seafood when we celebrate something or when we want to go out and eat somewhere. They always choose seafood buffets, and I got tired of constantly eating seafood,” You reply. Your face scrunches up with distaste before continuing to slurp up your noodles. Your family ate seafood so often when while you were growing up that you developed a distaste for seafood. If you were to eat seafood from time to time, then perhaps you wouldn’t dislike seafood as much as you do now.
“So, what I’m hearing is…. Your family is the problem.” Tighnari says, tapping on his chin with the end of the wooden chopsticks.
You nod your head with a shrug. “You can say that, yes. Plus, I’m not really fond of the fishiness and oceany taste of seafood.” You added.
“As long as you’re not allergic to seafood, then that would be bad,” Albedo says, eyeing the imitation crab between your chopsticks.
Al Haitham raises his eyebrows at Albedo. “Why would it be a bad thing if they’re allergic to seafood?”
Cyno’s head snaps toward Al Haitham’s direction. “Are you implying that it would be a good thing if they’re allergic to seafood?”
Al Haitham rolls his eyes. “I’m not implying anything, you idiot.”
Cyno narrows his eyes at Al Haitham before zapping Al Haitham’s tempura off his plate. “Guess you didn’t sea that coming.” Cyno snorted. Al Haitham glares at Cyno before picking up the tempura and places it on the pile of napkins.
Baizhu chuckles and shakes his head. “They always bicker with each other, and Cyno is always the one to come up with a joke in the end,” Baizhu murmurs, eating his sushi roll beside Ayato.
Ayato sighs. “It’s something we’ll have to get used to from now on. I have to say; their bickering is quite entertaining.” Ayato mutters to Baizhu, who nods his head in agreement.
Tomo walks up to you and sits beside you, his shoulders brushing against yours. “How do you deal with these men? Just being around them and seeing how they interact with each other is….” Tomo trails off, unsure of what he should say next.
“Overwhelming? Headache inducing?” You ask, the corners of your lips quirking up.
Tomo laughs and shakes his head. “It’s entertaining. Being able to see people from different regions bond and bicker with one another while having one common interest.” Tomo says, brushing his bangs away from his eyes.
“Uh, having visions? Being attractive?” You list, stroking your chin.
“No, being with you,” Tomo says, bumping shoulders with you. “They all care about you, and it’s sweet! I may have met you not too long ago, but I can see why they care about you so much.” Tomo smiles at you.
“Well, I hope you can see that I care about them too. Each and every single one of them.” You look over at the men with a small smile on your face.
Tomo leans close to you. “If you want another person in your growing harem, would you want me to be part of it?” His warm breath was fanning your face, sending chills down your spine and goosebumps appearing on your arms. Shit. Would you want Tomo to be in your harem? You’re about to answer Tomo’s pressing question, only to be cut off by a loud whine.
“Snookums!!! Are there forks somewhere? You know I can’t use chopsticks! My chopsticks skills are lacking, and I still need practice!” Childe wails, shoving his way between you and Tomo before nuzzling up against you like a puppy demanding attention.
“Aw man, I think they forgot to give us some forks.” You muttered, reaching over to the paper bag and searching through it. “Oh, yep. They forgot to give us some forks.” You sigh. Childe shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly before throwing his arms over your shoulders, burying his face into your neck before peppering kisses all over your neck. You pat Childe’s head lightly before looking over at Tomo, who is staring at Childe with an amused look on his face.
“My, quite affectionate, aren’t you?” Tomo asks. Tomo crosses his arms over his chest, gazing at Childe with the corner of his lips quirking up. “Anyway, what is your answer?” Tomo turns his head to you.
“My answer?” You squeaked.
Tomo nods his head. “I believe that I would make an amazing lover of yours. After all, I know how to get under that cute skin of yours.” Tomo grabs your right hand and lifts it to his lips before planting a kiss on your knuckles. You look at Tomo with wide eyes; the two of you make eye contact before he gives you a wink.
Childe glowers and yanks your hand out of Tomo’s grasp. Childe suddenly stands up, grabs Tomo firmly by the back of his collar, and drags him over to where Kazuha is standing with Gorou and Itto while eating his dry-braised salted fish. Childe pushes Tomo over to Kazuha and crosses his arms over his chest with a glare.
“You should learn not to touch other men’s significant other, or else it’ll get you into trouble,” Childe growls, glaring at Tomo.
Tomo’s shoulders shake, covering his mouth behind his hand. “You sure are possessive, aren’t you? A bit ironic since you do share [Y/N] with twenty-three other men.” Tomo raises his eyebrows at Childe.
You gripped Childe by the biceps, your nails digging into the sleeve of his jacket. “Childe, please don’t start any trouble.” You whisper, tugging onto his arms. “He’s just trying to rile you up.” You whisper.
Childe’s shoulders sag, sighing in defeat. Childe looks over at Tomo from the corner of his eyes with a sharp glare turning to walk away. Childe throws his arms over your shoulders and drags you over to where the others stand while Tomo watches the two of you walk away.
Itto places his hand on Tomo’s shoulders. “Tomo, you’re a good guy and everything, but I wouldn’t mess with Childe if I were you.”
“Yeah! He’s a Fatui Harbinger! The man is dangerous all around! You don’t want to be picking fights with a man who is always bloodthirsty.” Gorou frowns, slowly slurping up his ramen nervously.
Tomo chuckles. “I’ll be fine. Besides, it’s not like he can attack me if he wants to. [Y/N] has him on a tight leash.” Tomo smiles, his electro-vision glimmering under the sunlight.
Zhongli glares at Childe when you and Childe walk up to him. “You need to control your temperament more, Childe. Lashing out at another person in public is inappropriate.”
Ayato chuckles, approaching the three of you with Thoma in tow. “Childe lashing out at Tomo for being touchy with [Y/N] is no surprise.”
“I think out of all of us, Childe isn’t afraid to show his possessive side,” Thoma commented, taking a bite out of his tri-colored Dango.
“He’s also clingy.” You snorted. Childe pouts and hugs you to his chest tightly, resting his chin on top of your head. “And a big baby.” You said, reaching up to pat his cheeks.
“Is anyone done eating their food? We should head back to the abode once everyone is done eating their food.” Diluc says before tossing his trash into the garbage bin.
Your eyes widen before you rip Childe’s arms off your body. “I’m not done eating my noodles!” You exclaimed, running over to your now cold noodles. You grumble to yourself and scoop the noodles and shovel them into your mouth. Oh, yeah. The noodles are cold.
“Let me guess. Your noodles are cold now, and the noodles sucked up the majority of the broth.” Heizou says, resting his arm on top of your head.
You begin to sulk and nod your head at Heizou’s observation. “You’re correct.” You sniffle, resting your head on his hips while sorrowfully chewing on your cold glass noodles.
Once everyone finishes eating their food, you all decide to sit under the sakura tree in Inazuma to digest your food. Your head is resting on Scaramouche’s lap while your leg is tossed over Kazuha’s lap. You’re fast asleep. When you finished eating your noodles, you told the men that you wanted to rest under the sakura tree to digest your food before returning to the abode. And now you’re asleep on Kazuha and Scaramouche’s lap, with Scaramouche playing with your hair, his head resting against the tree trunk.
“I can see why you all like [Y/N],” Tomo murmurs to Kazuha, taking a peek at your unconscious body.
Kazuha smiles and rubs his thumb over your thighs. Kazuha’s gaze slowly lingers over your sleeping face; you look at peace. A sakura petal lands on your face, tickling your nose. You scrunch your face up and swat it off while remaining unconscious.
“How can we not? They’re special, and they mean the world to us.” Scaramouche speaks up, continuing to play with your hair before running his slim fingers through your hair.
Tomo hums, leaning back with both of his arms propping him up. “It’s rare to see this kind of relationship in Teyvat. Maybe it was normal a long time ago, but this is my first time seeing a relationship like this. A polyamorous relationship.”
“Just to let you know, we’re only interested in [Y/N], not each other,” Tighnari says, plucking a sakura blossom off the ground before letting it get carried away by the wind.
Tomo snorts. “Yeah, I can see that very clearly. You all look at [Y/N] like a bunch of lovesick puppies when they’re not looking.” Tomo says.
“They appear in our world because perhaps a Celestial god wants to give us someone that knows us all very well and…” Aether trails off, rubbing the back of his neck. How in the world is he going to come up with a backstory without giving away that you’re not from this universe?
“Where are we going to explore next? I was thinking somewhere in Sumeru after this.” Kaeya changes the subject, closing his eyes when a gentle breeze fans his face.
Xiao crosses his arms over his chest and looks out to the ocean. “I heard that General Gorou wants us all to go to Watasumi Island to explore. After all, we’ve never visited Watasumi Island before,” Xiao answers, not taking his eyes away from the ocean view.
“That is true. While we stay in the abode and would visit the cities often, we have yet to explore other parts of the four nations.” Albedo says, putting his pencil and sketchpad down on the grass.
“Maybe we should visit Stormterror’s Lair when we stop by Mondstadt! We’ve visited Windrise plenty of times already, and I think a change of scenery would be nice.” Venti says casually, his lyre materializing in his hands before he lays down on the ground.
Dainsleif sighs. “If we are going to visit Stormterror’s Lair, we better make sure that [Y/N] doesn’t roam off on their own. We wouldn’t want them to get injured or run into danger while alone,” Dainsleif says, looking over where you slept.
“I’ll be bringing a first aid kit with us when we visit Stormterror’s Lair.” Baizhu smiles.
You toss and turn in your sleep, mumbling incoherent words to yourself, making the others around you chuckle. Itto pulls out his kamera and snaps a picture of you, almost wincing when the flight flashes and the kamera clicks loudly. You crack your eyes open at the sound and rub your eyes sleepily.
“Oh shit, I fell asleep, didn’t I?” You mumble, sitting up.
Pantalone chuckles. “You did, but that’s okay. You do need rest after pulling many all-nighters for school.” He rubs your head affectionately.
“Shall we all head back to the abode now? It seems like [Y/N] still needs their nap,” Dottore says. He gestures over to you, resting your head on Scaramouche’s shoulder, eyelids threatening to close.
“We shall.” Capitano nods his head, getting up from where he previously sat.
Pierro nudges you with his foot. “Wake up, little one. Say goodbye to the samurai’s friend before we go back to the abode.”
You rub your eyes, slowly getting up from the ground. “Bye, Tomo! It was nice meeting you!” You yawn.
Tomo smiles and wraps his arms around your shoulders. “It was nice meeting you too, [Y/N]. I hope we get to meet each other again one day.” He pats the top of your head.
“Me too!” You smile at Tomo before being dragged away by Childe.
A few days later, you and the men returned to Inazuma, but it was to Watasumi Island this time. Gorou is the tour guide for this next area, and since Kazuha is also familiar with Watasumi island, he also pointed out the unique and beautiful things about the region. You know that Watasumi Island is a beautiful region, but seeing it in person is even better than you thought.
“Do you think we can meet up with Kokomi if she’s not busy?” You ask, walking beside Gorou.
Gorou hums. “Her Excellency is currently having a meeting with Kujou Sara about strengthening the allyship between the Shogunate and the Resistance.”
“Aw, bummer. I wanted to meet Kokomi.” You sigh. “Maybe next time! It’d be nice to meet Kokomi and maybe Kujou Sara.” You said, turning around to take in the scenery around you.
“Pfft! Why would you want to meet Kujou Tengu? Her presence alone makes anyone want to scurry off in fear!” Itto says, rolling his eyes dramatically with his arms over his chest.
You snort at Itto’s comment and rub his back lightly. “I wouldn’t mind meeting anyone in Teyvat. Especially if that person is Shenhe herself.” You said, casually walking ahead of the others.
“Shenhe? Out of all people, why would you want to meet Shenhe?” Xiao asks, crossing his arms over his chest.
You let out an audible gasp. “Have you seen Shenhe? She’s perfect!” You gushed, covering both of your cheeks while holding back a squeal.
All of the men stop in their tracks and stare at you, collectively crossing their arms over their chests. Some are giving you the look of betrayal, while others are gazing at you curiously, almost with skepticism. You continue to walk backward, smiling at them sheepishly.
“Listen, I believe that I should be able to meet the women in Teyvat too, you know? I need friends!” You exclaim, throwing your hands in the air with a dramatic sigh.
Ayato lets out an amused huff. “Why need friends when you have us instead?” Ayato jokes.
You point an accusing finger at Ayato. “Don’t give me that look that would make me go all soft and mushy! I should be…. Upset!” You exclaimed, feeling your face becoming hot under his gaze. You know the men wouldn’t mind letting you have friends outside of the abode. But ever since your first friend incident, they’ve been a little bit more cautious about making friends with people in Teyvat. And you don’t blame them for being so cautious about the idea of you making new friends in Teyvat!
“But what if you end up liking them more than you like us?” Aether asks, popping up from behind you before resting his chin on your shoulders.
You pat Aether’s cheeks lightly. “Oh, Aether! All of you are my boyfriends! There’s nothing to worry about!” You smile, turning to press a kiss on his cheek. “But really, though, when can I be friends with these women? I think I’ll be great friends with Shenhe, Lumine, and Yelan!” You said, propping your hands on your hips with a big smile on your face.
Zhongli hums, resting his chin on his hand. “I’m sure you will be great friends with everyone. You’re a loveable person, so I don’t see why not.”
“But before you do become their friend, please let us do background checks on them,” Heizou says dramatically, draping himself over your shoulders, almost smacking Aether in the face.
You chuckle and pat Heizou’s head. “Alright, you all can do background checks on the people I might befriend,” You said. “Now! Let’s continue our little tour now, shall we?” You ask, taking Aether and Heizou’s arms off your shoulders while walking backward.
“Maybe you shouldn’t walk backward! You’re going to bump into something or someone.” Tighnari warns you.
Baizhu sighs and holds up the small white box. “It’s a good thing I brought the first aid kit.”
“Oh, relax! I’m not going to run into someone or something! I got this!” You chuckle. “But to ease your worries, I will turn around and walk normally.” You sigh dramatically.
You twirl around dramatically, only to bump into someone’s chest. The person grabs your arm to steady you before you can stumble back from the impact. “Oh! I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to—” Your eyes widen.
“No need to worry! I can see that you’re occupied. I should’ve moved out of the way to prevent this from happening.” The black-haired male laughs shyly, rubbing the back of his neck as blood rushes to the apples of his cheeks.
“Oh! Teppei! It’s good to see you!” Aether smiles widely, waving at the black-haired male named Teppei.
Teppei smiles widely. “It’s good to see you too, Aether! Care to introduce me to your twenty-four other friends?” Teppei waves at everyone in front of him with a sweet smile on his face.
“Oh, this is going to take a while,” Thoma murmurs to Diluc, who nods his head in agreement.
After Aether has introduced each person to Teppei, Aether pauses for a moment when he gets to you. You smile at Aether and pat his head at his uncertainty. It wasn’t because Aether didn’t want to introduce you to Teppei; it was because Aether didn’t know how else to introduce you. After all, everyone he has presented comes from a specific region in Teyvat. Minus Dainsleif.
“Teppei, meet [Y/N]! They mean the world to me, and they make me really happy.” Aether says, wrapping his arms around your waist with a shy smile on his face.
“They also mean the world to us too, but I guess since you’re introducing them, it would make sense,” Cyno mutters, looking off into the distance.
Teppei looks at you all curiously. “It’s nice to see friends that care about each other a lot!” Teppei smiles at everyone.
Scaramouche stares at Teppei blankly. “Right, friends. That is something that we all are.” The corners of his lips tilt up, but he presses his lips together to hide the smile that was creeping up his face.
“So, [Y/N]! If you don’t mind me asking, what region of Teyvat are you from?” Teppei asks.
You stare at Teppei blankly, unsure of what to say. You slowly turn to look at the other men, making a face that says, “what do I do?” The men make a face back in return, shrugging their shoulders. While you and the men are mentally communicating, Teppei stands to the side awkwardly, waiting for your response.
Venti lets out a nervous laugh. “[Y/N] is from a mysterious place! Somewhere we’re all not familiar with!” He rubs the back of his neck.
Teppei raises his eyebrows at everyone. “A mysterious place? Could it be Enkanomiya?”
Kaeya chuckles. “They’re not from Enkanomiya. Though, that would be interesting if they were to be from Enkanomiya.” Kaeya strokes his chin and looks over at you.
You let out a nervous laugh. “My place of origin isn’t important right now, Teppei! What’s important is exploring Watasumi Island! I’ve never explored this beautiful island, so I would like to explore as much as I can before heading home,” You said.
“I agree; the region is not only beautiful, but the environment is intriguing.” Albedo murmurs from beside you.
“Oh! Well, if that’s the case, then I’ll gladly be everyone’s tour guide alongside General Gorou and Aether!” Teppei smiles at everyone before leading the way with Aether and Gorou walking beside him.
You held onto Al Haitham’s arms tightly as everyone crossed the bridge. You completely forgot how high up things are on Watasumi Island. The sound of waterfalls and the Nobushis sitting in different locations, minding their business while on edge for any potential targets, was making you feel a little bit anxious.
“Are you alright?” Al Haitham asks, placing his hand on the small of your back.
You laugh nervously and bury your face into Al Haitham’s arms. “I’ll be okay as long as I’m with you guys. I completely forgot that Watasumi Island is high up.” You clear your throat, tightening your grip around his arms.
Teppei pauses in his steps and turns around, making eye contact with you. “We can take a break from the tour around Watasumi Island if you like! I’m not sure if all of you had anything to eat today yet, but we can stop by a camp and cook something for everyone to eat.”
Diluc nods his head. “I agree. We should all take a short break and have something to eat before continuing the tour of Watasumi Island.”
“I’m sure [Y/N] is starting to get hungry,” Dainsleif commented.
You were about to protest when you felt your stomach growl. You pucker your lips and slowly nod your head. “Dainsleif’s correct. I’m starting to get hungry.” You said, rubbing your growling stomach.
“Alright, then, let’s head to the nearest camp and cook some food for us to eat!” Teppei says happily, leading everyone to the closest camp— which is about fifty meters from where you’re all currently located.
When everyone arrived at the campsite, you offered to help the men cook food. Since they wanted you to rest and enjoy the scenery of Watasumi Island, you find yourself sitting about ten feet from the campsite, sitting with your legs crossed while leaning back on your arms. It has been a while since you’ve been able to relax like this. Well, it has been a while because you’re now an Akademiya student who barely has enough time to sit back and relax ever since the quarter has begun. You close your eyes and let the cool breeze fan your face; you breathe in the scent of the food wafting in the air.
“May I keep you company?”
You crack your eyes open and look up at where the voice is coming from. Teppei was smiling down at you shyly, the pink color tinting the apples of his pale cheeks.
You smile widely and nod your head. “Of course, Teppei! I wouldn’t mind you keeping me company while we wait for the food to be finished cooking.” You said, tapping the spot beside you.
“If you don’t mind me asking, how come the others don’t want you to cook something to eat?” Teppei asks, looking over at you curiously.
“Oh, it’s because I’m an awful cook and almost burned the estate down one time.” You reply nonchalantly. Teppei looks at you in horror and concern. You snorted and shook your head. “I’m kidding, Teppei!” You lightly nudged him with your elbows.
“Is there a real reason why?” Teppei tilts his head to the side.
You shook your head. “Not really. Thoma is usually the one that cooks for everyone; he’s an amazing cook! I do cook sometimes, but ever since I started going to school, I didn’t have time to cook food. I have to focus on my studies and wasn’t home as much on the weekdays.” You explain.
“That’s understandable! I was worried that you almost burnt the entire house down with your cooking.” Teppei laughs awkwardly.
You shake your head. “Oh, no, no! If I was a horrible cook, I wouldn’t step foot in the kitchen or near the stove!”
Silence fell between you and Teppei; both of you admired the beautiful sight of Watasumi Island. In the background, you can hear the men bicker with each other over what food to cook and how much should be cooked, while Zhongli and Dainsleif scold them for almost spilling the ingredients.
“I’m curious. What is your relationship with these men?” Teppei’s question catches you off guard. “I was under the impression that you’re all close friends who are roommates with each other, but the more I spend time with all of you, I couldn’t help but notice that there is something more than just being friends and roommates,” Teppei says. Teppei starts to mess with his shirt, glancing at you from the corner of his eyes.
“Oh! A-And what would that be?” You laugh nervously. You know Teppei isn’t the kind of guy that would judge a relationship, but you didn’t want Teppei to feel uncomfortable about the topic of one person dating over twenty people.
Teppei hums and leans back on his hands. “I saw the way they stare at you when you’re admiring the view of Watasumi Island. Not to mention when you tripped and almost fell off the cliff, they hounded you like rifthounds to make sure you’re okay and safe.”
You sigh in defeat and nod your head. “Alright, I admit it. We’re not just roommates and friends, but we’re also lovers.”
“How does that work?” Teppei asks, squinting his eyes as he tries to imagine how a relationship with over twenty people works.
You blink at Teppei. “How does what work? The relationship?” Teppei nods his head before motioning over to where the other men stood, particularly Childe, Zhongli, Dainsleif, Al Haitham, Xiao, Cyno, Scaramouche, and the four Harbingers stood.
“Those groups of people look like they’re possessive. Specifically, those four scary ones that are wearing masks and are wearing fancy clothing.” You snort at Teppei’s observation of the men in your growing harem of men.
“You’d be surprised! While they seem like they’re possessive, they’re actually okay with sharing me with the others,” You said slowly. “With an exception, of course.” You quickly added.
“Exception?” Teppei raises an eyebrow at you.
You shake your head. “You don’t want to know, trust me. What Tomo received is lighter compared to what others have gotten.”
Teppei opens his mouth to say something but is cut off by Thoma walking up to you with a plate of food in his hands. You smile at Thoma gratefully and grab the plate from his hands before digging into your food as he sits down beside you.
“I never got to ask you this, but how were your studies?” Thoma asks. He pulls your hair back and brushes the stray hairs from your face.
You sigh dramatically and chew your food. You hold up your index finger and swallow the food. “It’s even more stressful than the university in my world.” You said without even realizing it.
Thoma’s eyes widen, and he looks over at Teppei, who is giving you a questioning look. You slowly look up, your eyes wide after it dawns on you that you kind of exposed your origin.
“Shit.” You muttered.
“Your world? What do you mean by your world?” Teppei questions, crossing his arms over his chest.
You laugh nervously. “Oh! Would you look at that? It looks like someone’s calling for me!” You squeak, getting up from your seat before rushing over to where the others stand, with Thoma following after you. Teppei watches you and Thoma with a quizzical look before slowly getting up from where he sat.
After everyone has finished eating, you all continue your tour around the Island. From time to time, the men couldn’t help but notice that Teppei was sneaking glances over in your direction. The look on Teppei’s face is hard to decipher. On your last stop at Watasumi Island (it was the Sangonomiya Shrine), everyone crowds on the bridge to admire the architecture of the building. You stand in front of the pillar, leaning up against it while admiring your boyfriends from afar with a small smile on your face. The way they look at the shrine in awe is adorable, and you wish you have a kamera on you to capture that moment.
You feel someone tap on your shoulders. You turn your head and see Teppei standing there, giving you a shy smile before gesturing you to follow him. You and Teppei walk down the steps of the Sangonomiya Shrine and sit at the edge of the seashell.
“Today is our last meeting, isn’t it?” Teppei asks sadly.
You blink at Teppei. “What do you mean by last meeting? The guys and I can always come back to the Sangonomiya Shrine to visit! Plus, I would love to meet Kokomi too, if she’s not busy.” You said.
Teppei places a hesitant hand over yours, interlocking his fingers with yours. “What I meant is that our meeting is a cruel fate.”
You furrow your eyebrows. “A cruel fate?” You whisper. Teppei smiles sadly and nods his head, squeezing your hand lightly. You look down at your and Teppei’s interlocked fingers in confusion. What did he mean by that?
“Can you please elaborate on that? I may be an Akademiya student, but that doesn’t make me a mind reader or good at riddles.” You joke lightly.
Teppei gives you a pained smile. “It’s too early for you to go. You still have a lot of places to explore.”
You open your mouth to respond.
“Yo, [Y/N]! It’s time to go! Venti over here wants to go to Stormterror’s Lair right now!” Itto hollers from the other side of the Sangonomiya Shrine.
Your eyes widen. “Huh? Already? I thought we were going to visit Stormterror’s Lair tomorrow!” You exclaimed, pulling your hand out of Teppei’s grasp and getting up from the ground while dusting your clothes off.
“Yes, but since it’s almost nightfall, the Stormterror’s Lair will be lit up, and it’s going to be a breathtaking sight! I want you to be able to see it before this phenomenon is gone.” Venti exclaims, skipping over to where you stand.
You hum and stroke your chin for a second. “A phenomenon, you say? Well, then, that means we can’t miss out on it! We should take pictures while we’re there!” You chimed.
Heizou smiles and points his thumb over in Itto’s direction. “It’s a good thing that Itto brought his kamera with him! I’m sure you’ll be able to take as many photos as you like!” Heizou reaches up and caresses your face in his hands.
“Hey, Baizhu. You have the first aid kit with you, right?” Tighnari asks, turning over to the green-haired male.
Baizhu smiles and nods his head. “I do. I brought it with me just in case something goes down south while we explore Watasumi Island.” Baizhu holds up the white first aid kit.
“Guys, come on. I’m not that clumsy. You don’t see me falling all over the place everywhere I go,” You said.
“I don’t know. You did fall for all of us.” Cyno strokes his chin while gazing at you skeptically.
Al Haitham looks over at Cyno, unamused with the play on words. Al Haitham shakes his head with an eye roll.
Al Haitham grabs your hands and pulls you forward. “We should head off soon, or else we’ll miss this phenomenon Venti spoke about.”
You and the men bid Teppei goodbyes before walking to the closest waypoint near the Sangonomiya Shrine. Teppei watched the distance grow wider and wider as you and the men walked to the waypoint. Teppei’s chest begins to throb in his chest, swallowing a lump in his throat.
When you and the men arrived at the Stormterror’s Lair, night had fallen, and the twenty-five of you approached the lair. The night air sent chills down your spine, causing you to shudder at the breeze. Diluc took notice and took his coat off, draping it over your shoulders. You give Diluc a grateful smile and snuggle into his jacket, sighing in contentment when warmth engulfs your body.
Everyone crosses over the bridge and comes to a halt halfway. “Whoa! That’s so cool!” You gasp in awe, staring at the glowing building in front of you. Venti wasn’t wrong when he said that the phenomenon is a breathtaking sight. You wonder why the Stormterror’s Lair emits this beautiful yet ominous glow from it. Either way, you’re not complaining at all! If you’re able to witness this phenomenon with the loves of your life, then you’re not complaining one bit. As long as you’re with them, seeing this beautiful sight live, you’re not going to question it.
“I have to say; this phenomenon is beautiful,” Ayato says, his blue eyes taking in sight in front of him with his mouth agape.
“I agree! It’s a rare sight to see; it’s one of my favorite things about Old Mondstadt.” An unfamiliar voice chimes in.
Everyone turns around and sees a male almost identical to Venti, only his braids aren’t blue at the tips, nor does he wear the same clothing as the anemo archon. You look at Venti, then over at the black-haired male standing beside Venti; they’re the same height. The male has a soft smile on his face, a lyre in his hands, and the breeze blowing in his black hair.
“Nameless Bard?” You whisper.
The Nameless Bard looks over at you, his eyes meeting yours. A smile appears on his face; he walks towards you before stopping in front of you. Nameless Bard looks down at you with his stormy gray eyes. You feel your face heat up under his gaze.
“So, you’re this special person that Venti couldn’t stop talking about.” Nameless Bard commented. You feel your face heat up even more at his comment before looking over at Venti.
“Hey! You promised me that you wouldn’t tell Windblume!” Venti whines, jumping onto Nameless Bard’s back.
Nameless Bard laughs and lightly bats at Venti, pushing Venti off of him. “Oh, come on, Barbatos! I’m sure that everyone knows about your love for Windblume. After all, you’ve written lots of ballads about them.” The Nameless Bard pokes Venti in the ribs, making Venti sputter and laugh nervously.
“Shall we start the tour of the Stormterror’s Lair? The phenomenon is much more beautiful when you’re close to it.” said the Nameless Bard, flashing his pearly whites at you all.
“Well, lead the way!” Scaramouche gestures for the Nameless Bard to the ruins that were once Old Mondstadt.
Nameless Bard smiles widely and walks through the crowd before catching onto your wrist, bringing you along with him. You turn to look back at the other men with wide eyes, unsure of what to say, but you go along with it. Something tells you that Nameless Bard knew that you’re not exactly from Teyvat— maybe Venti told Nameless Bard that you’re not from Teyvat unless Nameless Bard knew the minute his eyes landed on you.
The closer you all got to the Stormterror’s Lair, the brighter the light became. You stopped in your tracks and shielded your eyes from the brightness before turning around, your back facing the building. You blink away the black dots in your vision, the men standing around you, doing the same thing as you.
“Is it just me, or did the light suddenly get brighter the closer we approached it?” Gorou asks, covering his eyes with both of his hands.
“It’s not just you. It’s strange that the light got brighter all of a sudden.” Diluc mutters, his eyes glued to the ground.
Xiao looks over at Venti and the Nameless Bard. “Is that supposed to happen if people approach closer to the building?”
“I don’t think it’s supposed to happen, but I notice something strange the closer we get to the building.” Nameless Bard taps on his chin. Everyone looks at the Nameless Bard curiously, waiting for him to explain what he has noticed.
“And what would that be?” Zhongli asks, raising an eyebrow at the black-haired male standing beside you.
“Dainsleif, would you mind stepping close to the barrier?” Nameless Bard asks.
Dainsleif raises his eyebrows at the Nameless Bard, internally asking himself as to how the black-haired male knew his name when everyone hadn’t introduced themselves to him. Without questioning the Nameless Bard, Dainsleif walks over to the barrier before turning to look at everyone else.
“Alright, now, [Y/N], you take a step towards the barrier.” Nameless Bard lightly nudges you toward the barrier.
You hesitated for a moment before slowly walking to the barrier. With each step you take, the light emitting from the building grows brighter and brighter, thus blinding everyone in its presence. You stop in front of the barrier, your hands covering your eyes from the overwhelming brightness that was coming from behind the anemo wall.
“That is strange,” Kaeya mutters, squinting at the sight in front of him and the others.
“Is there a meaning why the light gets brighter the closer [Y/N] is to the barrier?” Albedo asks, looking over at the Nameless Bard.
Childe takes in a deep breath before motioning for you to come back. You walk away from the barrier and stand next to Childe; Childe immediately grabs your hands and squeezes them. You give Childe a smile and squeeze his hands back.
“All [Y/N] has to do is not to walk into the light.” Nameless Bard says.
“What?” You ask, your eyebrows furrowing.
Nameless Bard steps in front of you and places his hand on your shoulders. “Don’t walk to the light. Stay as far from it as possible, you hear me? You still have many places to explore.” Nameless Bard gives you a rueful smile.
“Teppei said that to me.” You whisper.
“[Y/N].” You look around in confusion.
“Come on, wake up!” Wake up? Were you asleep this entire time throughout your and the men’s exploration around Inazuma, Watasumi Island, and the Stormterror’s Lair? Speaking of Stormterror’s Lair, you barely explored the area. What was going on?
“They’re losing too much blood! How did this happen!?” You hear Dainsleif demand; his voice sounds much closer. You turn to look at the men around you, only to find yourself alone, standing in front of the Nameless Bard, who smiles at you sadly.
“Your time isn’t up yet. Go back. You’ll be okay.” He squeezes your shoulders gently.
You close your eyes. The frantic voices around you soon grew louder and louder. You feel someone shake you and lightly pat your cheeks. Something wet fell onto your cheeks, the warm liquid slowly trailing down your cheeks.
“Please, wake up. You can’t leave us like this.” Childe cries, continuing to pat your cheeks.
Pierro shakes his head. “You were all being too wreckless, and now look what happened.” Pierro pinches the bridge of his nose with a sharp exhale.
Al Haitham pushes Childe away from you and watches Baizhu scoop you up into his arms and press a cloth over the gaping wound on your back. You wince and crack your eyes open, looking around with bleary eyes.
“It hurts.” You whisper, tears blurring your vision.
“We know, sweetheart. We’re going to clean and patch up your wound before we take you to the infirmary.” Baizhu says.
You whimper. “What happened? I thought we were exploring the regions with Tomo, Teppei, and the Nameless Bard.” You mumble, gripping Baizhu’s shirt tightly.
“Who?” Itto asks.
“A friend of mine, Kazuha, Gorou, and Venti,” Aether says, pressing his lips in a thin line.
“The friends that are no longer with us in this world,” Thoma whispers to Itto, whose eyes widen.
You bury your face into Baizhu’s neck, gripping his shirt so tightly that you can feel your nails digging into the palm of your hands through the fabric of Baizhu’s shirt.
“You’ll be okay. Just keep your eyes open for us, alright?” Tighnari says, brushing your hair away from your damp forehead.
You nod your head weakly, letting Baizhu carry you to the infirmary at the abode with the men following closely behind. While Baizhu takes you to the infirmary, you can’t help but wonder what had happened before meeting Tomo at the restaurant in Inazuma. You have no recollection whatsoever, and maybe that’s why Teppei and the Nameless Bard were telling you that it wasn’t time for you to go yet and that you have more places to explore in Teyvat.
You later realize that you almost died, and the light that grew brighter the closer you got to it was the afterlife, and Nameless Bard was trying to stop you from going there. You almost died. Tomo, Teppei, and Nameless Bard were trying to find a way to get you to wake up this entire time, and you didn’t realize it at all.

Watching you felt almost wrong. The neglect he’s given you through the years- the pain you’ve felt and him not caring about you for as long as he’s known you.
He didn’t deserve to watch this beautiful sight of his family, the family he didn’t even want. The family he wasn’t even apart of. You two were an arranged marriage, married for political reasons. He needed an heir, your father needed peace on your home planet. You and your children had always been a nuisance to him.
You had given up on the romantic attempts years ago. But something in this sight, something about you right then made him sick. Something made him click taking in this view from the balcony on the hill.
For weeks he had longing feelings of sadness. He hated admitting it and rejected it as much as he could, but light was seeping into the cracks. His moods began to lighten softly, not enough for you to notice but enough to scare him. Now looking down and feeling this, it was just a confirmation of what was really happening to him.
The sun shown down on your beautiful yellow dress that was layed out on the grass. Your hair was up in intricate braids due to the heat on Naboo, the tiny loose strands were swaying in the wind. The field you sat in was just off a short cliff, the beautiful rural city and coast were just feet away. The perfect escape between the busy city and the old city. The mansion sat atop the hill, separating the two separate terrains. You were on a vacation and had begged him to come for the sake of his children.
Your oldest son ran around you in circles, playing with a TIE one of his father’s assistants bought him for Christmas. Kylo couldn’t be bothered to celebrate, let alone give gifts. Henry was just shy of his sixth birthday. His blonde hair was messy and in need of a cut sometime soon. His gray tunic and black pants matched his father’s aesthetic a little too much for your liking. Running around, he made engine sounds as the ship would like a typical 5 year old.
Your youngest daughter sat in front if you, playing with some wildflowers she had plucked into an array of ‘jewlery’. She was three. Unlike her brother, she had beautiful strong brown hair. Unbeknownst to you, it completely mirrored her grandmothers. You had her hair in your hands, coming through it with your fingers trying to decide what design to attempt today. Amala squirmed as she attempted to join her brother, but you kept her in place in your lap. She was to learn to be a lady as you were. Her dark pink dress was spread out in front of her.
Kylo watched you as the pit in his stomach felt odd. It had always been empty, but this time something ached inside of it. He had never had any interest in you. The times you ever had sex were intended and resulted in children, exactly what he needed. He cared more about Henry than Amala. Henry was the oldest and the heir to the First Order. But work called. He was never a family man, he was never meant to be a family man.
These feelings continued to conflict him throughout the night.
As the sun set you came in with the children. The nannies took them upstairs and readied them for bed. You took your place at the long dinner table. On the opposite side sat your husband- legally.
Over the years you obviously lusted for other men. You didn’t even dare act on your thoughts, or barely thought the thoughts at all. You knew Kylo would have their heads within seconds. With an absent husband emotionally and physically it was hard. In the first few years of your marriage, you struggled with fertility problems. Life was so lonely without the children. He grew angrier and angrier with you each time you got your cycle and your anxiety got so bad that it soon stopped. Your doctor moved you to separate chambers and eventually Henry was conceived after years of trying.
You felt like a failure before your son was born.
After copious amounts of treatment during your pregnancy, Henry was born. And then a while after that Supreme Leader Snoke granted you permission to have another. An heir and a spare.
You and Kylo sat silently eating your dinner. Over the years, you had perfected your etiquette. No slurping your wine, no scratching of the fork on the plate. At dinner you would mostly go over your thoughts from the day. The tuition papers you had to sign for Henry’s first school next year. Amala refusing to listen to her nanny and requesting her mommy really warmed your heart. The beautiful memory of that day you had spent with the children. The fact that you were doing it alone and was so good at it.
He listened to your thoughts. You knew he did. No datapad, no work bot giving him constant coded updates you didn’t understand. Tonight it was just the two of you. Two strangers eating dinner together. The show, the facade had to go on. Media wise you two were the loveliest couple in the galaxy. In reality, you spoke maybe once a week.
“R-80!” you called from the dining room. Kylo’s head shot up from his plate of food to see you waiting on the cleaner droid. You had finished the meal and was waiting to leave this awkward encounter.
The droid came around and you began to exit the room. His hand deliberately reached out for yours as you walked past him to get to the door.
A tiny gasp escaped your lips. You stopped and pulled your hand back, a concerned look was on display.
You were begging in your mind for this to had been an accident.
“It was no accident,” he said strongly. His deep voice boomed through your ears. You forgot how powerful it could be sometimes.
For the first time in years Kylo was feeling anxiety. Over something so minuscule, speaking to his wife. His eyes met and darted over your face. He recognized the braid pattern in your hair. You had worn it on your wedding day. Rarely he had seen it on you, depending if he even noticed you on the daily. His eyes were drawn to your dark lipstick on the lips that were slightly pursed.
“Your hair-” he said. Your eyes flicked up to the window, looking for any sign of a reflection.
Did he hate it, was he about to tell you to never wear it again? Was a strand so obviously out of place? Hell, why was he even speaking to you in the first place?
“It’s how it was on our wedding day, if I remember correctly.”
You nodded your head. Heat rose to your cheeks. This is the longest conversation you two have had in months.
He stared into your eyes. He forgot just how beautiful you really were. They were still the same as always, but this time with a few unnoticeable lines around them. You refused to meet his gaze, staring forward at the distorted mirroring of the room in the window.
Ten years in with two kids, you had managed to keep up with yourself and your appearances. For what, you really weren’t sure anymore.
“May I be excused? I would like to go check on the children.” you asked, avoiding his eye contact.
“Yes, one moment.” he said, his hand reaching out for yours. You hesitantly took it.
Kylo took a deep breath. Even though he seemed calm and composed, inside of his head the red alarm was going off. The urge to even ask you this went against everything he believed in. The twist in his stomach snapped. He gave in to the light feelings, begging for more after how good he felt after asking you a simple question.
“May I sleep with you in your chambers tonight?”
Your brows furrowed. “D-did you talk to the Supreme Leader? Did he give you permission for another?” you asked him, worried. You loved your children but you had no say in having them. The Supreme Leader could make you give birth to an army if he willed.
“No, no. This isn’t about sex.” he assured you. Of course you assumed it was about sex. It was the only time he ever really spoke to you. A slight relief flew off your shoulders.
You sighed, taking your hand from his. “I’m going to check on the children.”
Your heels clicked down the empty hallway. Something in you secretly hoped that he would follow you to see the children, but you knew your husband.
You were baffled in his sudden change of heart. He hadn’t shared a bed with you since- well, since Amala was conceived. You didn’t deny his request, but neither confirmed it.
Your thoughts kept you company as you walked down the many corridors and hallways of the mansion.
The large door was cracked, left like that by the nannies. They knew your routine better than anyone else. Amala was sleeping closest to the door. The canopy above her bed was swaying from the wind of the open window. Henry was laying on his stomach in a deep sleep, his limbs all sprawled out over the large bed.
A smile rose to your face as you quietly closed the door. Your heart was full once again. No more doubt plagued the poor, confused thing from dinner.
You made your way to your chambers. You passed what you knew was Kylo’s. Shockingly, the door was open. You caught a glimpse of him working at his desk. He looked too large for the thing, trumping the tiny chair in size. The patio was open and the moonlight rushed in, lighting his room ominously.
He caught a glimpse of your flowing yellow dress passing his room. He wanted to finish up a few papers before bed, but in his heart he knew he had to neglect his work for one night.
He mustered up enough courage to knock on your door. A sweet “Coming!” came from inside. Within seconds, your door was open and he was met with your fresh face. You had changed into your night robes and had your natural hair down on your shoulders. The bathroom light was on and he noticed the fresh mint scent coming from your breathe.
Your night maids hadn’t been around yet, he presumed.
Something in your look, your energy died a bit when you saw him.
How had he never noticed? How could all these feelings, these guilt trips be plaguing him now, suddenly? What changed?
“We’re you hoping for a maid?” he asked, following you into the large room. He locked the door behind him.
You sat down back at your vanity, pulling your brush out of the drawer.
“No.” you replied. He knew you were lying.
The bed creaked as Kylo sat down. His dark grey dress pants were perfectly ironed and didn’t crease at the contact. He itched at his black turtleneck, swiping the cuff with his finger. He could hear his watch ticking from his wrist. The room was cold.
“May I ask why you wanted to be here?” you asked, a certain confidence in your voice had occurred. Turning now to face him, you finished brushing your hair and placed your hairbrush back in the drawer.
“Honestly darling, I’m really not sure.”
Darling?
If you weren’t so poised your jaw would have been on the floor.
“Today I saw a sight. You with the kids in the field.”
“Oh Kylo, there children. There’s nothing wrong with them playing in a field if this is what this is about-”
“No. I-”
Kylo Ren had never felt himself speechless before, yet again choking up at the sight of his family he used to despise.
Your tucked your chair back into your vanity. Now standing infront of the cowardly man, you waited for his response.
His hand cradled his forehead as he stared at the floor, watching your perfectly manicured feet come into frame.
That’s when he let his first sob out in years. You quickly embraced him in your arms, his forehead finding a resting place against your stomach. Your hands sprawled over his back in a cautious way. Peeking over ever so slightly, you checked if he had his lightsaber on his belt. Thank the gods he didn’t, you were afraid he would cut you into two.
Nobody had ever seen Kylo Ren cry.
“I don’t understand what you are getting at.” you whispered to him. Another sob came out, you began to rub his back.
“I-I am such a fool.” he managed to speak. His eyes looked up into yours, finally making contact for the first time in forever.
The look on your face was baffled.
“What have I been doing? I have a family- a wife? So much neglect, so much hate. How are you still here, my dear? How have I not driven you away, or driven you to worse? I-I have two children. Two beautiful children I don’t know and such a beautiful wife that I’m strangers with. So many years wasted. How did it take me ten years to see this? How did one small instance make my life come crumbling down around me?” he asked, bawling out his words.
You were speechless.
“I want to learn- please. How do I have such an amazing person with me and I don’t know the slightest thing about her? Tell me, w-what’s your middle name?” he went on, now holding you by the hips and eagerly speaking.
And that’s when it really hit you. You two were strangers.
“Amala,” you muttered out. “Oh! T-that makes so much sense—in our daughter. Her name,”
“What are there names, please tell me.” he seemed to beg.
“Henry Cornelius Benjaq Ren, Amala Charress Bryneri Ren.” you answered, a smile emerging on your lips.
Was this too good to be true?
Kylo was stunned of Henry’s middle name. Benjaq. There was no way you knew of his real name. The coincidence hurt him even more.
“Cornelius and Charress…” he pondered. “They sound so familiar are they…”
“My parents.” you answered him. “King Cornelius! How could I forget? Oh Y/N. I have neglected you for so long. How could you ever forgive me?”
His voice sounded genuine. “It’s definitely going to take time.” you sighed. Suddenly the years of loneliness and suffering flashed back in your mind. You broke away from his embrace and walked to the open balcony, giving him an invitation to follow.
“I will try. Please Y/N, let me.” he begged, following you outside.
The warm air brushed against your cool skin. You sighed, wishing you would wake up from this nightmare and your husband would be back. Did someone poison his food?
The yearning for anyone’s touch seeped into your mind. Watching all the other royal couples around the galaxy, they all seemed to love eachother. Hands touching almost constantly, sneaking a kiss or two at events. It was rare that you even got a photo with Kylo at the parties you would attend.
“I know,” he sighed, taking your hands into his. “I wish I could make it all go away.” he said with remorse.
The waves crashed against the sand. The wind was beginning to pick up. Your hair began to sway in the slight breeze. “Make it then,” you whispered, grazing a hand against his cheek. You dared giving him any sign of affection. You were half expecting him to pull his lightsaber out and cut you in half, just as you thought before. Something felt so wrong, but so right.
You kissed your husband for the first time since your wedding day. His lips were slightly chapped and you could taste the negroni he was drinking at dinner. The moon show down on the both of you, and the feeling he felt seemed to pass on to you. Force sensitive or not, the force was in your favor tonight. You felt the remorse and the pain he had been harboring for years. All the sleepless nights over work and heartache over his past life. You seemed to dilute all of that inside of him. You were the missing piece he was looking for all along. The thing he wanted the least was now his prized possession; his wife, the mother of his children, his Queen, his Empress.
All of that love came back. The feeling of when he was a little boy and still had light into him entered his heart once again. Ben Solo seeped through the cracks of his dark, broken heart.

After you were thrown from Olympus and forbidden to even be near your love, it stormed for two weeks straight. With every day of the storm, more houses were destroyed, more people hurt, with no sign of an end. The people trekked to Poseidon’s temples every day with offerings, they prayed until their voices were hoarse, but the rain didn’t cease. The people believed he had given up on them, that they had done something to anger him. They didn’t know the utter heartbreak that coursed with the ichor in his veins. They didn’t know that this was the true despair of a god, that it could destroy them all.
You had been taken back to Asgard and cared for like you were newly-made, the Aesir tip-toeing around you and hoping not to set off any catastrophes. You had become numb since you had been brought home, moving around the halls of Valhalla like a lost spirit. Odin and Frigg tried so hard to bring you back, to do something that would return you to yourself, but it was all in vain. The only thing that you could possibly want was him.
Every day you walked the fjords, standing right on the edge of a cliff, the breeze pressing on your back, hoping to push you off. You had roamed every inch of the fjords, combed every cliffedge. You waited for Pegasus to find you, to whisk you away to your love, but the winged stallion never came. You hoped for a sign, any sign that both of you weren’t lost to each other, but nothing came.
And then, when you were beginning to lose all hope, you looked down over the edge of the cliff, straight down and into the swirling waters that frothed and smashed against the sharp rocks. There was no pegasus, but a huge clump of seaweed. You had never seen the seaweed come up near the fjords before in your whole existence, not this much anyway. It was always deep under the water, or only a few specks of it floated up and washed ashore. But there was so much of it floating near the edge that it created an island on the water.
Your heart stopped in your chest as you watched it float to the cliff wall and bump against it. Again and again it floated into the cliff, as if waiting for something before it would allow itself to disperse. You clenched your hands together, breath suddenly shallow, then took a run and jumped off the cliff.
The water was icy, and your skin began to tingle as the bubbles floated up around you and to the surface. You waited until they had all disappeared then allowed yourself to push to the surface as well, treading water and staring up at the sky for a moment. It had been so long since you had gone swimming, since you had enjoyed the sea as you once had, and it felt immeasurably good to be immersed in it once more. You smiled, wider and brighter than you had ever done since being back from Olympus. You allowed yourself to drop into the water again and again, ceasing the swirling of your arms and legs to just float in it. It felt like a hug from Poseidon. Then you swam over to the island of kelp and began sifting through it.
Carefully pulling each piece away and gathering it into your other hand. If it truly was a message from him you wouldn’t let any of it go to waste. It was slippery and a little slimy but you just held on tighter as you straightened out each piece and lay it in your other hand. Right in the centre of the bundle, you found five oyster shells. They were placed in a perfectly straight row in the perfect centre of the kelp and they were… perfect. You had never seen an oyster like that, perfectly black on the outside like a mussel but still rippled so you knew it was an oyster. You reached out and gently picked one up. Your hands shook and tears filled your eyes until the oyster became blurry. You wiped at them haphazardly, blinking until you could see again and the tears had mixed into the seawater.
The oyster was just barely open, a thin crack that you tried to peek through, but you couldn’t see anything inside. You dug your nails into the opening and used whatever godly strength you possess to pry it open just enough without breaking it fully. It was a rather delicate task and you had to stop a few times for fear of cracking the shell, but when you got it open you found a beautiful pearl sitting in the centre. It wasn’t perfectly round (as you found that natural pearls rarely were) and was actually rather flat with its edges poking out here and there so it looked like a splash of water in pearl form. You picked it out of the shell, the oyster within not giving any resistance, and you held it in your palm. It seemed smooth, and glinted different colours in the grey light. You flipped it over, and you found that there were little scratches on the pearl. They were much too small for you to decipher at first, but as you brought it closer to your eye and realised that it was writing, your heart began to thunder. ‘To have and to hold’ was all it said. You stared at it, heart in your throat, and gently placed it back in the oyster, shutting it and resting it on its bed. The next was the same, except this pearl was smoother around the edges, almost like a flat oval. ‘For better or worse’ it said in the same small writing. The one after it was almost perfectly round but also flat and thin like a drachma. ‘For richer or for poorer’. The next pearl was sharp, its edges jagged and spiking out. ‘Until death do us part’. You caressed it, allowing the sharpest edge to cut into your skin and the bead of blood to stain the pearl. You whispered each word aloud as you opened the pearls, hoping that since you were in the water that he could hear it, that he would know. The final pearl was a perfect sphere and as large as the first segment of your pinky finger. The writing was inscribed around it, and you spun it over and over, reading the words until they were screaming inside your head, until you couldn’t read them anymore because your eyes were streaming with tears and you were sobbing so heavily that water splashed up and into your mouth. ‘I love you’ it read, inscribed over and over around the pearl so that it looked like it was scratched all over.
You floated there for a moment, staring at the vows, at the pearls, then let yourself sink under the water, eyes closed. You screamed the words into the water, bubbles floating around your face, voice garbled, but you screamed until you had no air left and even your body began to tire. You wanted him to hear you, needed him to know. Then you surfaced, breathing heavily and feeling lighter than you had before coming to the cliffs. You looked at each pearl again, caressed them, then gently placed them back into their shells. You wrapped the shells up in the seaweed, creating a tight parcel and tying it up with the seaweed you had stripped away before. You stayed in the water a while longer, feeling the caress of it on your skin, pretending it was his arms wrapping around you, his fingers running up and down your arms. Then, when it became close to the time of the nightly feast and knowing the others would begin to worry if you did not show up, you grabbed the parcel and made your way back to your new home, a small house built at the bottom of the hills that led to the cliff edges.
It was more of a hut, built in the viking style and furnished sparsely. You had lost all your taste for glamour in the last weeks, lost the feeling of being a goddess, and had conjured this place, quiet and secluded and right by the cliffs you had once enjoyed. You left the pile of seaweed in the hall of the house by the entrance, thinking of ways to decorate your house with it. You placed the shells in order on a shelf just above your bed. You didn’t want the pearls themselves to be exposed, just in case someone came snooping. You looked at them longingly and kissed each shell before making the journey back to Valhalla. You had to find a way to send a message in return. You had to.

Poseidon sat on the beach he had once brought you to. He stared out at the water’s edge, watching a happy couple walk along it, a woman in a beautiful dress kicking up splashes of water and the man staring down at her with such devotion in his eyes. He watched them press close to each other, walk further into the water, let it roll over them. He watched them kiss, felt it on his own lips, then a wave crashed over the shadows and they disappeared into seafoam and the sparkle of sunlight on the water.
Poseidon pressed the heels of his hands into his eyes, sighing heavily and shaking his head as he muttered angrily to himself. Though he had been forced to stop the storms lest he flood all of Greece, the one in his head never ceased. You were his every thought, consuming him from the inside. He had gone to the lake on Olympus everyday for the week he had been forced to stay there after your banishment. Zeus has wanted all the gods together to feast and be merry for the return of his bolt. Poseidon had not spoken a word the entire time, glaring at his brother with such fire that even Hephaestus could not conjure a flame with such heat. The rest of the time was either spent watching Hermes, trying to figure out if all of this was really his doing, or making the trek to the lake to sit on one of the boulders, feet dipped into the water, and reminiscing on the time he had with you.
Even since had returned to his domain, nothing felt right. The usually comforting embrace of the water now felt hollow. The feeling of the sand under his feet did not mean anything now that he couldn’t share it with you. He no longer felt like the god of the seas, just a god of… nothing. Everywhere he looked he saw something that reminded him of you. He could not escape your memory even if he were trying. Even now, sitting on the beach where you had first kissed, he could only hope you had received his pearls, his vows of marriage.
A butterfly, blue and shiny, fluttered into view. He watched it flap its wings and fly in little twirls, as if looking for something. Then it began to flutter closer, circling its way to him.  He watched the little creature with a sad smile, wishing you were here to see it. He knew you would love it. But the butterfly kept coming closer, flittering and fluttering until it sat itself on the tip of his nose. His eyes crossed as he tried to stare at it, eyebrows knitting in a frown, as the insect flapped its wings once, twice, then laid them out flat and stopped moving entirely. Without the strength of its little legs gripping to his nose, the butterfly fell away and into his lap, laying on his thigh as still and dead as he felt. His frown deepened, staring at the creature with its legs poking up into the air and wings perfectly flat.
The structure and pattern suggested it was a monarch butterfly, but they didn’t come in blue. It was old, at least for its species, around 6 weeks if he were to guess, right at the end of its life. With the gentlest movements, he dug his fingertips under the wings of the dead butterfly and lifted it closer to his eyes. He flipped it over and examined the backs of its wings, the beautiful blue that somehow shined even brighter now that it was dead. He stared at the black lines that swirled over the wings, creating little pockets of blue and edged with dots of white. It was in the black lines that he found writing, in the smallest letters possible. Where the lines swirled and made pockets, letters followed them. And there, on the wings of this butterfly that seemed to randomly appear on this beach and randomly choose to land on him, he found his wedding vows. Each one he had sent, returned in the beautiful writing of a goddess. And right at the bottom, in the biggest letters, ‘I love you’. He could almost hear your voice, a whisper in the wind, and he closed his eyes lest the tears fall.
Tumblr media
Years passed without a word from neither him nor you. You had settled into your life with the Aesir again, comforted by the pearls that sat above your bed. You opened the shells every night and gazed at them, whispering the words and hoping that somewhere in the sea he felt your love. He too returned to his palace underwater, the butterfly encased in clear ice to be frozen as long as he lived, a reminder that you had said yes, that you had married him. Both of you felt safer knowing he was yours and you were his. It was not a traditional wedding by any means, but it was yours, and you would cherish it until the end of your days.
After the first three decades of peace and no sign of anyone knowing that you had sent messages to each other, you sent one more, another butterfly with a simple reminder that you loved him. In return you received a conch shell, not too large but still a hefty weight in your palm. When you lifted it to your ear, in the whisper of the ocean you could hear his voice, telling you he loved you. Every night you put it to your ear and let it lull you to sleep.
So many years passed in this way, changes coming and going, empires rising and falling. Suddenly the modem age arrived, bringing its technology and skyscrapers and all of you gods into each other’s vicinity once more. Now the Greek gods were huddled in New York, living lavishly atop the Empire State building while the halls of the Aesir occupied Boston, hiding in plain sight. The battles continued, the monsters still roared, but things had become slow, the gods became lazy. While you kept your cabin in the fjords, your connection to Poseidon and your homeland, you were forced to spend much of your time in Boston to keep yourself alive, to keep your facade with the other gods.
The clashes between the worlds of the Greek and the Norse became more frequent, though all the gods kept their promise of staying away from each other. It was not until the battle of the Draugur that this promise was broken. That after millennia you were face to face with your love once more…
Tumblr media
A/N: I chose things from the sea as his messaging system because obvi he’s the god of the sea. But I chose butterflies for Y/n because I see her character in so many ways that I feel the butterfly embodies. I was thinking of the butterfly effect (a butterfly flaps its wings in one place and a storm starts in another) and that’s literally Y/n because she’s this small thing who’s seen as gentle and underestimated but she causes all these big things simply by existing. And then butterflies are seen as small and gentle and colourful but there’s literally a species of butterfly that drinks the tears of turtles and that felt so accurate to her character because she’s seen as small and pretty and colourful (and she is) but she can also be vicious and violent for survival. Anyway, thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Pairings: Neteyam x male Omaticaya reader
Summary: Neteyam tells you that his family is leaving the Omaticaya.
Warnings: angst.
👴🏾 I put my blood sweat and tears into this idk if I like it yet but my youth has been evaporated. Enjoy!
You soared through the sky on the back of your Ikran. Embracing the wind with closed eyes and open arms as it rushed past you and through you with mighty force. You loved flying as much as you loved hunting. Neteyam flew beside you chanting out in excitement his voice echoing through out the hallelujah mountains.
You liked how carefree he was right now. Especially after what happened with the sky people and his younger siblings; he’s been on edge ever since Spider was taken. You tried to reassure him. You would tell him that you would get Spider back, that this time everyone was prepared, this time they would be more careful but he still worried it was in his nature. You knew his hesitation; you understood what it was like to be the eldest son- to be the keeper of your siblings. The instinct to protect and care for them overtakes you.
You took whatever you could get; this was the happiest you’ve seen him in a while. Not overthinking and just enjoying the time you two spent together. You could tell that something has been bothering him for the past few days though. Something more than the event with the sky people. You could see it in his eyes- the way he avoided looking at you, the way he would subtly flinch at the sound of your voice, or how he hasn’t slept peacefully in two days. Every time you tried to bring it up he would avoid the question. Find something else to do or quickly run to his fathers call.
“Wooo!” Neteyam cheered you smiled at his smile.
“Aye Ye Ye!” You chanted following Neteyam as he nose dived down closer to the ground riding in between the trees.you both weaved through the branches testing each others speed and agility.
“Race you back to the top!” You challenged Neteyam nodded with a playful glint in his eye as he zoomed up with his Ikran before you could even blink.
“Cheater!” You shouted attempting to catch up; your ikran screeched as you directed her up. She was just as competitive as you were craving the win. You could feel her pushing every muscle in her body to speed up. She easily whipped through the forest dodging all obstacles you faced on your descent like she knew every detail and what came next.
“Come on girl.” You mumbled with encouragement earning a hum in response you could see Neteyam on his way to the top almost at the finish line you laughed as you blasted past him in the last stretch to the top of one of the floating mountains.
You dismounted breaking the bond between you and your Ikran in a matter seconds Neteyam appeared behind you with a gust of wind.
“You cheat and still lose.” You tease watching him dismount walking towards you. Neteyam rolled his eyes
“I let you win.”
“You keep telling yourself that.” Neteyam sat a few feet from the edge of the cliff he watched as you made your way over to him but your eyes were else where.
“Wow..” you trailed captivated by the view in front of you. Your face bright with delight ; even though you have lived here all your life the scenery never ceased to amaze you. Everytime you could only stop in your tracks and stare.
“Sit. Watch the eclipse with me.” Neteyam spoke softly tapping the space next to him; you sat with no hesitation arms brushing against eachother. You rested your head on his shoulder you liked the sensation of his skin on yours, his warmth melding with your own.
Watching the eclipse was a thing you two did often- a way to get away from everyone and spend time alone. Of course you loved hanging out with Kiri, Lo’ak, Spider, and Tuk but sometimes you wanted it to be just you and him. The first time you planned this Lo’ak and Kiri were flying with you but Neteyam caught your mischievous eye with a simple nod as if he understood, both of you raced off. Once he found this spot it’s been where you would meet each other for months. Perfectly secluded and quiet, to the both of you it was special- sacred almost. You would never tell a soul about it and neither would he. A home away from home where you and Neteyam could be yourselves.
You took his hand in yours playing with his fingers the quiet overtaking you both. Even your Ikrans had a special bond they rested atop eachother behind you two. maybe it was fate all along.
“Even after so long nothing can distract from her beauty.” You admired in a mumble.
“Not even me?” Neteyam joked as if offended you snickered.
“I have plenty of years to admire your beauty.” Neteyam squeezed your hand he fidgeted his eyes drowning in guilt when you looked up at him.
“Ma Neteyam..” you called for his attention crawling into his lap and straddling his hips; blocking his view as the darkness started to overtake the sky. “Tell me what is wrong.” You pushed his braids back behind his ears while staring directly into his eyes, your hands placed on his cheeks he had no where to turn it was now or never.
“My family is leaving.” He spat out like poison but still you could see the burden slowly release from his shoulders. The burden of finding the right way to tell you he held his breath- waiting for your reaction but you were caught off guard.
“Leaving?” You repeated in confusion. “Leaving where?
“Our home, our clan.”
“What?” You pulled away Neteyam could clearly see dread forming in your eyes. This is the face he was afraid of seeing the one that made him want to defy everything he believed in just for you. He didn’t want to hurt you. The image of your exact expression stained his mind for nights as he wrecked his brain trying to figure out how to tell you; he’s been avoiding you for this reason. He knew he couldn’t handle it.
“Don’t you see? The sky people are after us. They already got Spider. You will be in danger if we stay.” He tried to reason.
“I’m a warrior. I can defend myself and I will fight with you.” You argued “Your father is Olo’eyktan his duty is to our clan.”
“Listen to me.” He pleaded reaching out for you “I have no choice.” You dodged his hands increasing the distance from him. Your heart was pounding against your chest you two have already- what will happen now. Everything that could go wrong drowned your brain, tears swelled in your eyes just the thought of being away from Neteyam was enough. You didn’t want him to see you like this.
“I’ll go with you.” You stated with a shaken tone you failed to conceal. You tried to put on a mask of strength but Neteyam saw right through it in a second. He shook his head refusing your offer, he prepared for this exact moment over and over but nothing could have prepared him for the real thing. Your face, your reaction, your tears. Each drop like a knife tearing through his heart; he wanted to hold you, to kiss you but you wouldn’t let him. Every move he made you mirrored it.
“Your family-”
“You are my family.” You interrupted. “Tell your Father and Mother that we have already made the bond.”
“They’ll kill me if they found out about us.”
“I can’t sit here while your fighting for your lif-”
“I don’t want you to get hurt!” Neteyam burst your eyes widened like he was stupid.
“And do you think I want you to risk your life?!” You shouted back. “You’re mine Neteyam. I will die a thousand deaths before I let you leave while I do nothing.” he growled frustrated at your stubbornness; your will to throw your life away just to save his.
“What about your brothers huh? You’re the only one who can teach them.”
“Thats not fair.”
“Your father trusted you to teach them, to take care of them.” Neteyam finally got a hold of your hand slowly pulling as if coaxing you towards him. “Like you, I do this for my family. If we leave we will be safe and you will be safe.” Your ears lowered in submission you were back in his lap; forehead pressed against his, the dark sky lighting you up like the stars.
“When this is over I will come back for you.” His voice low and gentle but firm. A flare in his eye with an abundance of determination this was his promise to you. To himself.
“When I am worthy I will tell my family what you mean to me.”
“You promise?”
Neteyam nodded kissing you softly. Slowly. Lingering and holding on to every last drop of your essence. His grip around your waist tightened and yours around his neck. This will be the last kiss for a long while. The last time you can feel his warmth. The last time he will hold you until his return. Unsure of when that will be you savoured this moment as much as you could. Kissing him over and over, memorizing his features, his voice, his breath on your skin. You shared each others touch. your lips danced until you lost track of time.
You were scared for him and his family; you loved them as your own. Your relationship with the Sully family was deep you also knew how strong willed they were. Together they were an army of their own.
“Goodbye Kiri, Lo’ak and Tuk” you hugged them all Kiri cried into your shoulder “I don’t wanna leave.” She confessed you struggled to hold in your tears. You hugged her tighter before letting go. You could see Lo’ak shaking- fighting against his bodies will to cry.
“I’ll miss you.” Lo’ak admitted
“I’ll miss you too.”
“Thank you for taking care of them.” Jake spoke firmly Neytiri agreed with an approving nod they saw you as their own but you weren’t theirs to take. Neytiri gazed down at you lingering for a moment, her hand reaching for your face before she pulled it back turning away suddenly soon they saddled up on their Ikrans.
Neteyam was the last to appear slowly as he dragged along, neither you could get any words out in fear of breaking down right then and there.
“I’ll see you again.” He declared to you in a solemn whisper you nodded. A bittersweet smile pulled at your lips you knew nothing would keep him away from you.
“Neteyam.” Jake called Neteyam obeyed getting on his Ikran and off they went. Just like that. It was painful to watch them fly off into the distance it was like an incomprehensible portion of your heart was ripped out with them. They played a huge role in your life and you in theirs. You watched as they flew away, when the crowd dispersed you stayed as long as you could. Neteyam looked back. You caught it from so far away, a turn of his body it was almost like you could feel his emotions. A longing gaze as the distance between you and him grew larger. A silent goodbye. One last look and he was gone. Far beyond where your eye could see.
You went to your secret spot everyday. You kept your promise to him,you taught your brothers every shred of wisdom you had in your brain. They were naturals just like you; born to fight and excelled at it. You were confident they would make fine warriors one day. It was the same routine everyday train and wait, train, wait. An endless cycle that you couldn’t wait to be over
There was news that the sky people were dealt with for now. Blown up. Sunken. Killed. So why hasn’t he returned yet. You grew restless with each eclipse that had passed. Did he like where ever he went so much that he forgot about you? He must have found someone else. Someone better. You still returned to that spot each day like clockwork . You lost track of time; watching hundreds of eclipses over and over days seemed to blend together. You pushed everyone away. Even the relationship you had with your brothers was wearing thin. Everything became difficult after a while and eventually you stopped trying.
You waited and waited rain or shine; staring at the same sky for hours. You’ve grown to hate Eywa’s beauty. You hated her empty skies it was the same everyday, no matter how much you begged, pleaded, and prayed it all seemed to fall to a deaf ear. You could never give up though your heart wouldn’t let you. The looming desire to be in his arms once more hung over you like a dark cloud. Your heart would never let go it wasn’t built that way. no matter what anyone tried to say or do it would never be enough.
You accepted the fact that he forgot about you; it was better than the other thought you had in your mind. The dark thought that plagued you. It was easier to hate him than to mourn him. So you let your hatred grow and fester with each passing day the worse it would get. Your relationship with Neteyam went unknown to everyone, no one would ever know how much he meant to you or how much it hurt when he left and you never dared to utter a word. You were alone, it was your fault anyway. You accepted it. Maybe even liked it that way.
It all meant nothing anyway. The day he left you was the day everything went dull.
