today, September 1st 2023, is officially the 13th anniversary of Jetpack Joyride! to celebrate one of my absolute favourite mobile games, i drew a little sketch of Barry and Craig partying the night away together with some good ol' fashioned totally-not-champagne apple soda :)

i was planning to do a digital drawing, but because i totally definitely didn't forget that JJ's anniversary was today, it might be a bit fashionably late :) happy 13th anniversary Jetpack Joyride!

artfight aka the month where i agonize for hours about whether or not my colouring style counts as “rough colour” or “clean colour“

"I have never finished." you partially lied.

A man had never made you finish, that was objectively true. One of the downsides of knowing what you liked so well was that no one could ever touch you like you did yourself.

However, you were thoroughly enjoying the way Spencer's hands were grazing your skin, and his hips were dresperately bucking up as you straddled his lap. His lips had attached themselves to your mouth, a messy, lewd battle of tongues that both of you knew exactly where it was leading.

"We can fix that" he muttered against the kiss.

"I don't think you can" you scoffed teasingly.

Your words made his body crawl with the thrill of a challenge. He let go of your swollen lips to look up at you, and with a clumsy movement flipped your bodies to have you beneath him, his hands immediately wrapping around your wrists to pin them over your head.

You raised an eyebrow in question. It had been certainly hot but it was unlike him to show so much boldness, at least it was on your daily lives as coworkers.

"Cat got your cocky tongue?" his demeanor had completely changed to, almost, a point of no recognition. he bent over further, having his lips right by your ear "Don't understimate me."

"Don't take it personally, Spence." you tilted your head to press a gentle kiss to his cheek "I'm just hard to please."

His hands moved further up to put your wrists together, pinning them down with only one hand. The index finger of his free one trailed down the side of your face lovingly, ultimately landing on your chin. It was the first time you had been so intimate with him, that you were able to truly see his eyes pooling with desire.

"I'm going to tell you what's going to happen." he began to drag his finger down your neck "I'm going to kiss every inch of your body with so much tenderness that your skin will burn even days after." the digit then moved lower, drawing circles on the middle of your chest "But that won't be enough for you. You want to be marked, to have evidence of how crazy you drove me, to display how wildly you're desired, and I plan on giving you that, beacuse tomorrow I'll need to remember that I had you for myself and myself only."

His voice was coarse and low, and you couldn't see his face from the position that you were in. You were thankful for that, though, because it meant he couldn't see yours contort with arousing anticipation, something that would only feed his ego. Your train of thought, however, was interrupted by his voice again.

"At this point, you will be craving for more, pleading even." instead of just his finger, this time his entire palm was pressed to your stomach, and you realized that you had been bucking your hips up against him accidentally "But I'm patient, I won't be satisfied until I have tasted everything there's for me to taste. I wonder if you'll be as sweet as I've always imagined." his palm went back to moving again, this time further down until it landed on your sex, not quite touching it, just hovering his fingers over the area.

"And I won't stop. Not when my tongue is ravishing in your insides." one of his fingers trailed up your slit, and he sighed in content when he felt the easiness with which it slid up from all the slick "Not when your legs close around my head to keep me in place, or your back arches off the bed with pleasure, I won't stop until I've sampled every drop of your extascy."

Unfortunately for you, he was already acomplishing half of the goals he was proposing. Your legs were beginning to tremble, your walls clenching without anything to clench on, just aching to be taken. Desperate to be fucked.

"And then I'll finally fuck you." as if he could read your mind, your eyes were forced open by his statement. you hadn't realized you had closed them to further the power of your imagination trying to picture his every word.

You realized his face was no longer by yours, instead he was staring you down with a light, triumphant grin on his face. Shit, you had given yourself away, even though you were not going to budge that easy.

"You want that, don't you? My cock between your legs." he said once you were unable to form a word. Little did you know, his teasing was also a trick. Once your lips were parted open to retaliate, his thumb snuck past them and pressed to your tongue. Instinctively, you sucked around it. "You want to be taken, to be ruined. And I'll do it, I'll ruin you completely, because after I have you, you won't be able to be touched by anyone else. I'll fuck you so intensely, so passionately you won't be able to think of anyone else."

He was enjoying every bit of seeing you so needy. Face hot, toes curled, eyes drunken with lust. His thumb withdrew from your mouth, his palm landing on your cheek instead.

Never did you know Spencer could be so eloquent with words. Let alone have you dripping having barely been touched. But he was right on one thing, he had been there through good and bad, through adventure and lethargy. He knew you inside and out, every shade of you except the one he desired the most.

You knew him about the same, but you always thought of him as unable to satisfy you, like the rest of the men you'd met before. You were realizing now that you had been dead wrong, and the sky and stars he was promising to you was probably all true. But you weren't about to give him the satisfaction.

"Such a big talker." you mocked, and you struggled a little to have him let go of your wrists, and he did, your fingers tangling in his hair "Don't think you can pull all that, though."

Your tone was clearly challenging, and a chill ran through you spine when you saw him smile regardless of the remark. He slid down the bed, and you feared that you might have killed the mood. You were mentally prepared to beg if that's what he wanted, but in reality you couldn't spend another time without Spencer touching you in some way.

Instead, you saw him position his face in between your legs, his eyes locked with yours filled with confidence and pride.

"Watch me."

These are my very rough translations that I either found online or ran through google translate and tried to make sense of lol. Tell me if the translation is off, I'll fix it!

My tablet's glass has broken, and the frame slightly dented when it fell off my bureau. I've been to the repair store, and it will indeed cost 578 euros to fix the screen of my broken ipad, the one I draw on. Since it's a model from 2017, there's just less out there to fix it. But there's also the fact that it might not work when I do get it fixed. Or that it will die and slow in the coming years by its age, making fixing it an expensive band-aid. So the opinion of the ones around me is that I would be better off buying a new tablet. And as you know, that is a quite expensive ordeal, looking at the prices around 1000 euro (*ﾉヮﾉ)

I just have no choice, and after a few tears and a night of sleep, I decided that I still want to continue doing (digital) art. (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡

But with the costs of the tablets, I will be forced to at least wait till my payday to even think of buying one. This means comms will have about a 3 week delay. Rn, I'm trying to hold my tablet together with tape, so at least I won't be cut by the splinters. For the comms that I've already started I will finish them on my tablet to the best of my abilities, but for the ones I've only made a sketch for or yet to start, I will feel more secure if I start them on my new coming tablet.

So, I'll be scraping together some money for the new one, and maybe will do doodles for a buck or something to try and raise a little buffer? If you want to support me, I'd appreciate it so much! But don't feel obliged! I have a savings account I can dip into a little bit. ^^’

i really like how much depth your art has, do you think you could show how you break down bodies when sketching if that makes sense? it’s something i struggle with a lot in my art! ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

ok apologies in advance, this is probably going to be a really long and tangential rant about art that may or may not actually help you in learning how to construct bodies. im just gonna put it under a cut to save everyone from seeing this huge text wall.

i dont think its gonna be possible for you to replicate my methods here, because theyre mostly just really specific shortcuts for finding certain proportions and reference points for anatomy, which i'm fairly versed in, but not as much as i'd like to be. the shortcuts you'll need will be different from mine. im glad you think my art has depth, that is something i am trying to seek very intentionally right now, and i dont think im even close to the depth of form i am actually aiming for. so like. this makes making a tutorial kind of inherently hard. nevertheless, i threw this quick sketch together after like 3 failed attempts. (i was doing those attempts digitally, ended up giving up on that and going back to traditional because its what im most comfortable with rn)

i didnt get all the steps i took to get here because scanning that much would be cumbersome but ill try to explain how i got here. i start with the head almost every time.

i use a lot of symbolic/graphic shapes when drawing heads and dont stick to using forms very often besides the circle at the center of the head, which i use as the base to form these graphic shapes around. think of it like "wrapping" the ball in various textures and masses. the eyes are usually "textured" onto the head, notice how the her left eye looks narrower then her right. of course i try to make sure her bangs sit along the curve of the sphere and her ears look like they sit on opposite sides of the head. its easy to forget that part, making the head look unsymmetrical. the particular masses of leica's head would be her snout, which is just a curve extended slightly outside the diameter of the ball, and her hair, which are two strange organic shapes that are quite hard to draw, two hair sprig anime antennae things (forgive me, i forgot the word for them,) and the back of the head, which i usually need to extend slightly. its a little too extended here, needs more on the top, i fix this in the final pass. this was a quick sketch, so i didnt focus too hard on the forms of the head beyond the most essential ones for her design, but i sometimes highlight the form of cheeks with curved hatching, or try to make the eyes appear more sunken-in as they are on human faces. i dont know how to proportion the neck and torso correctly until i draw the head, so i always do it first. next, i did the torso.

so heres why i said that you probably wont be able to replicate this approach. you do kind of just have to practice anatomy, i cant just make it make sense because im not very good at explaining this stuff, but ill try to go through what i did here. so, i generally use simplified bone shapes to find proportions and reference points, as well as more complicated shapes like those of elbows and knees. i try to study fairly often because im not satisfied with here im at with this stuff yet. of course, i dont think i'll ever be. so i'll usually start with the ribcage, add a shoulderblade out the back to find the shoulder, the armbones come out of that, the bone in the upper arm connects to the ulna with a sort of three-pronged attachment, one big knurl in the middle, which forms the thrust of the elbow, two little ones on the side. i think those are part of the ulna but i dont remember. see, you dont really have to know what exactly they do as long as you know what they look like. the ulna does some goofy rotation shit i dont understand, connects to the wrist, and then we have a hand, which, i mean, im not good enough at hands to even be telling you how to do it, but i just have a big squarish mass and some little hotdog fingers coming out of that. you can see on her left hand that ill have a big circle forming the the area on the hand where the thumb attaches... theres more depth to the hands, i think you can easily find better tutorials then i could offer. anyway, under the ribcage theres the pelvis, represented with a box. ill get into that when i talk about the legs. i wanna briefly talk about the way i add the flesh and fat to the bones.

so, i really can't give a comprehensive crash course on anatomy, but i can point you towards the morpho series, which is where i get most of this stuff from. you can get very far with the volumes Simplified Forms, Fat and Skin, and Skeleton and Bone Reference Points. moving on, i just kind of have a feel for where the masses attach by now. the important thing to remember when drawing fat characters like this is that the fat should "hang" from the bones and flesh, drooping down slightly. leicas fat hangs substantially, so she's not very wide despite her weight. this is important to her character design i feel. i almost always draw characters naked first when doing serious drawings because it will come in handy knowing where the forms of the body are when i add the clothing. by focusing on the way her body looks naked, i can modify the impression of those forms when adding clothes, and when i add them later on in this drawing, leica will take on the distinctive boxy look i try to draw her with.

if you look at the arm, youll see that the place the line of bone sits is very high compared to the whole mass of the arm, the flesh and fat of the arm "hang" from the bone, and then the upper arm squishes against the bent forearm too. even if the anatomy in the arm is indistinct, it can still look convincing when the forms act realistically against one another. the elbow has much less fat connected to it, so its more bony then the rest. this isnt actually consistent on all people so like, think about that kind of thing when designing characters, like i was talking about before, fat can sit in infinite different ways. maybe if i was doing a more objective anatomy lesson i'd draw cath, because i do have a sort of vague understanding of muscle placement that doesnt come through here, but probably would if i was drawing a scrawnier character. let me know if you want that.

a word on the breasts too: they hang a bit lower then you'd expect, keep that in mind. the attachment point is also angled, as the line shows. the line starts roughly in the middle of the torso and ends around the armpit, but the form of the breast can go underneath the armpit or even connect around the fold of fat in the back. many things to think about. i love boob shapes. ok lets finally get on with it and talk about the legs.

so, the really specific shape of the pelvis doesnt matter that much unless youre drawing a really thin character, so its just a box here. out from the sides of the pelvis, extending out more then you'd expect, is the femur, which ends in a similar joint to the arm. this shape helps me figure out the form of the knee. two masses on each side with a bunch of complex and weirdly shaped bones forming the kneecap, which i have omitted because i dont yet know shit enough to include them. i am learning though. so, obviously the feet are just scribbles here because im just gonna put her feet in socks anyway. you really dont have to do more then you have to. a few tips i can offer here, the butt should hang a bit too when drawing fat characters, i think the butt is supposed to start just below the pelvis if i remember, but take that with a grain of salt. i also didnt really do that here but its hard to tell because she's facing mostly forward. again, i dont think i can really communicate what's going on here. morpho has a lot of great drawings explaining the shapes and muscles of the legs, all things i might focus on more when drawing a scrawnier character. for this case, i regrettably don't go too hard on the legs. also i should note that legs would usually be much longer, leica is really short so ive exaggerated the proportions to communicate that. i may change my mind on that front in the future and give her more grounded proportions. the important thing to remember with legs is just getting a nice hierarchy of forms going. bigger thigh going into smaller calf going into smaller foot. it mostly comes automatically now.

i added the clothing, shaped up her head a bit, added a bit of fur. i put her in her classic outfit, just a sweater and jeans. i enjoy the big thick folds that come out of these clothes, and big areas of white space too. its nice. i try my best to form all the folds around the forms of the body i drew earlier. thats one case where i really really have no idea what im doing and could never explain it in words. its just some fun intuitive play with loops and lines. this is at around the stage for a sketch where i'd do inks, or if it was going to be a finished pencil drawing i'd erase out parts piece by piece and replace them with nicer and more defined lines and tones.

January and February dump

This is my most recent work of Lloyd, and my most recent work in general. I made this in the computer room at school with a painful high-sensitive mouse. We have these special course thing in our junior high, so every tuesday after class, I get to be in the computer room. For six hours... (My course is Visual Graphics Design. I'm kinda regretting it now since I've been thinking of becoming an architect... I can't change my course now since it's too late. Which is stupid.)

I'll try to draw more there! I really like drawing with a mouse cause I like the challenge. And since I'm not accustomed to a high-sensitive mouse, it'll be a bigger challenge for me!

I made these two in traditional then polished them digitally since I straight up just used a pen. I rarely use a pencil nowadays so I can learn to fix mistakes without erasing it. Usually it ends up looking like chicken scratch but I'm getting better.

My Harumi one is so bad lol.. When I was making it, my classmates around me were messing around and moving the chairs in the process, making me have to draw strokes with shaky lines. It's not that noticeable though since I made the lines thicker.

I was planning to make something for Rebooted's anniversary but I got busy... (And lazy) The PIXAL one was inspired by an animatic I saw.

If you compare the previous Arin portrait, yes, they don't look the same. I'm trying to find a look for Arin, as I do with every character, that I'll be satisfied with.

By the way, I'm kind of basing Arin's hair with my classmate's hair. Which is funny because my other classmates compared this artwork to my classmate, who looked nothing like Arin but have similar hair, commenting they're the same. (I'm not mad because I actually find this a bit humorous)

I was trying to make an animatic and this was going to be the sketch. But then again, I got busy and lazy. (Mostly lazy)

I accidentally changed their facial features a bit by accident on the second page because I forgot to reference the first page. It was tiring flipping pages every 5 seconds, ok! Also, I drew it after 2 days when I drew the first page, and I didn't have a design I liked for them yet. (...I just noticed Jay has different eye colors in both pages...)

I think I'm sticking to these looks for Lloyd. I'll try to make it accurate to this. (I think I did great with the first image of this post. Though, I made him too round for my liking.)

Discard the growing beard post redesign Lloyd has. That beard thing was supposed to be where his chin was until I realized it was too small. And it's still too small.

Child Lloyd is so cute! The eyeshadow wasn't intentional at first, but then it got me thinking, what if Lloyd had an emo phase? And now emo child Lloyd is my headcanon.

Pre redesign Lloyd kind of reminds me of TommyInnit, and I find it quite funny. Maybe it's the facial gesture, I know a lot of TommyInnit fanarts with that silly face.

For Dragons Rising Lloyd however, I want him to have long hair with his post redesign face. I'll try to make full body designs of the 4 Lloyds.

You guys probably don't care, and this is the first time you've seen me because I don't have an exact artstyle and I dont post as much, but I'm going to put descriptions now since this blog is going to be a silly little art dump! And blog posts are supposed to be descriptive. Which I should've done in the beginning and explained my works..

Ominis Gaunt x f!reader drabble

A/n: Whilst I wait for a full length literary masterpiece by @anto-pops, I wrote this drabble in worship of Ominis' hands, inspired by @xantineverdoer. I'll add it to my drabbles for his voice and beauty marks, I guess.

Ominis was clothed from neck to toe, his smart three-piece suit tailored to perfection. Even his extremities were wrapped in cloth so divine that the threads glided effortlessly across your skin, seemingly perusing every peak and trough of the goosebumped flesh as he made his agonisingly slow ascent. You should have been paying attention to the opera in front of you, but instead your seclusion in the dressing circle's private box had invited Ominis' attention to wander, pulling yours along with it. The gentle and solemn warbling from the stage was just background noise to the real performance taking place beneath your skirts.

He didn't merely glide his hand straight up your body, Ominis enjoyed taking his time—this was his overture, a promise of things to come. His limbs flexed, fingertips pressed and kneaded, contorted around the curve of your thigh. You licked your lips wantonly at the sight. Another inch and you might get a sliver of relief from this delectable torture. The urge to shuffle down into the velvet seat to meet those fingers was overwhelming, but you knew that Ominis would never allow it. This bodily worship was on his terms, and how could you refuse when he offered the very pinnacle of your desires? He was no fool; from the beginning of your courtship it had been obvious how enamoured you were with his hands; those dexterous digits of beauty-marked porcelain stoked in you a fierce flame of lust that was hard to hide and utterly shameful.

Yet he didn't shy away from the hitches in your breath when he pulled on his dress gloves of pure white cotton that evening, only wore a knowing smirk as he ran a knuckle down your cheek. The result had been a gentle whimper that fell from your lips from the mere suggestion. Perhaps later he'd deign to remove his gloves, feel the heat of your skin and appreciate the product of his teasing. For now, his face remained impassive, a show for any curious members of the audience who might wonder what type of person occupied the lavish seats. Your own face was harder to compose, eyes darting to watch the gentle squeeze of his fingers, the press of his palm as it finally, mercifully met your aching heat. The cotton enrobing him was saturated by your arousal with only a delicate touch, the pressure sending ripples through your abdomen.

Ominis' façade cracked then, a self-satisfied smile crossing his lips. Finally, his head turned, though your eyes were fixed on his fingers now languidly drawing circles between your legs. Every precise and practiced stroke, every swirl of those delicate digits wrote a sensual tale of delectation into your skin. His other hand had come to rest gently on your neck after banishing your hair with a swift brush, your pulse quickening to greet his palm. You leaned into him, relishing the pressure, the quiet scratch of fabric meeting skin. Still you watched him coaxing forth your release as he leaned closer to your ear, hot breath against your neck, unable to look away for one second.

"I believe my gloves are quite ruined. Would you like me to take them off?"

Sorry I've been quiet for so so long. As I mentioned in one of the last updates, there was an incident (my house caught on fire) and my computer & primary drawing tablet was lost. I have a not-as-good replacement for the tablet and a new laptop, so I can get back to drawing stuff digitally now, but I feel like I still need to take a break from this series for a couple more weeks and come back to it with fresh eyes.

Im still passionate about this comic! I love it very much and intend to finish this!! So I hope you dont mind bearing with me a little longer :') I've been feeling a little burnt out on the concept, so I need to draw something else for a while to recover my stamina yk?

Speaking of the "something else," while I was staying with my twin brother until the house was fixed we started watching One Piece, originally as a joke, and then got DEEPLY into it and binged the entire series in three months :') Its like my #1 Hyperfixation rn, tied with this comic. The touchscreen on my laptop stopped working, it's at the repair shop but the guy isn't sure he'll be able to fix it, so who knows when I'll be able to do digital art again:/

Anyway I had an idea for a drawing of Magneto, it would be much more dramatic if I y'know had the tools I have with digital art, but yeah.

I know it's a teeny tiny issue compared to everything else going on in the world, but honestly it's kind of healing to worry about something relatively minor for once. Everyone pray my laptop gets restored to its health 🙏
