New Work! These two pieces look fabulous side by side. I explained my inspiration in a previous post about the painting on the left “I Am Awareness” but I have yet to share my inspiration for the artwork on the right. Two of the most powerful forces in life are fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer. My hope is that humans will evolve and reshape the world for the better. ☮️Imagine, 36" x 36" work on wood was inspired by words from the late John Lennon's song "IMAGINE". I have learned so much from the teachings of Ram Dass. Who spoke about our collective consciousness and loving awareness. This mantra is such a powerful heart opener. “I am loving awareness. Loving awareness is the soul. I am loving awareness. I am aware of everything, I’m aware of my body and my senses and my mind, I’m aware of all of it, but I notice that I’m loving all of it. I’m loving all of the world. The self that I identify with emanates from the ocean of love. The self that is the ego is the ocean of fear."
