Getting a bit of a laugh today seeing the neighbors appear like feral little beasts craving five goddamn minutes out of the house.

I don't have the meanness to explain to them that it's gonna be at least another two days before the glare ice is gone. Nor have I told them the reason it's so fucking slippery is because it's been freezing and re-freezing, and they really should maybe stay inside for another day.

Look, I grew up in this shit and fell on my ass yesterday. The whole left side of my body is reminding me as I type this. No one who grew up around here is used to these conditions, and they're in desperate need of something to do, and the main roads are in pretty good shape.

But I will be surprised if any of those SUVs make it back up the road to their driveways. Because they don't know how to drive on this shit.
