I never got over how fast Jon started relying on martin

ANYWAYS! You know alex's missing leg? *throws alex (pre amputation), farah, and gaz into a jar along with a vaguely Saw-horror-esq situation au* *shakes the jar*

Cw: uh... gore(?), I'm stealing alex's leg, amputation via (literal) crushing injury, i threw canon out the window and watched it fall to it's death

I almost feel bad for this, I accidentally wrote this instead of doing actual work, I'm beginning to put things under the cut bc it makes it easier for me to find things on my blog 😁👍, use of cubic measurements when it should probably be metric, also I keep saying "weight" just know that I mean just a giant metal square that weighs like 1k lbs or something idk

well... things were not looking good. he can't wait to get drunk enough to make regrettable decisions if when they get out of this.

Gaz had offered to help Farah and Alex investigate a big crime lord in the area. normally this wouldn't be a them problem, they'd leave this kind of work to the local police, but not this time. Interpol says that after they started getting the videos they had to start calling in higher and higher level authorities.

after meeting with Interpol they learn that they'd been getting public videos for a while, at least a few weeks before they were contacted.

they got right to work as soon as they could.

they'd already been through a number of crazy traps, only surviving by the skin of their teeth, but this one was somehow both the worst and they best that they'd been put through so far.

the giant weight above each them begins sliding down the walls above them, making a horrifyingly bad screeching-scraping sounds. it'll only get faster and faster the further it falls as the walls open up, until it's in complete freefall. they start running for the marked safe zone as fast as they can.

they had been working on a lead for this guy for almost a week. had traced him back to an old warehouse district by the waterfront. well, they thought they had. it turns out that they were just being led on, to be trapped in his sadistic game. they had split up to cover more ground when they'd gotten trapped.

Gaz makes it out first, he watches on the screen as Farah makes it out of her own falling death trap, and breathes out a sigh of relief. the screen enlarges onto Alex's feed with anticipation. the world watches as they see alex's foot get caught on an imperfection in the floor. they see him go down, just before the safe zone, they watch as the weight falls faster and faster. they watch as Alex frantically scrambles back, fear in his eyes.

there's a silent sigh of relief as alex makes it to the safe zone, and not a moment too soon as the weight SLAMS down into place.

and then an indescribable guttural sound of absolute shock and agony RIPS through the still air, tearing the silence to shreds. it's horrifying, just the sound of terror and agony personified. the feed on the monitor goes black with a spray of blood.

Gaz's stomach drops... as does his body when the floor literally disappears from under his feet. his body slams onto the concrete ground. he looks up and 20 feet away alex is laying prone on the ground; panicking; and Farah, 20 feet away on his opposite side. 60 feet away there's an open door at the end of the seemingly empty room.

"ALEX!" they scream at the same time, and scramble to get to the man.

his leg is a mangled, bloody mess up to the knee. his foot is... no more... presumably nothing more than a bloody, pulpy liquid underneath the weight. the rest of his leg is bleeding profusely and just looks... wrong. it was twisted and bent at odd angles, and looked nauseatingly... deflated, if that's the right word.

~~~ time skip because im lazy ~~~

x-rays show that aside from the obvious foot... lacking situation, that his tibia and fibula are completely and utterly unsavable. closest to his knee the bones are spiderwebbing with fractures, and furthest from it might be closer described as liquified. his kneecap is dislocated (not that it really has a place anymore), and the cartilage; due to the pressure; shot from his flesh; he's need replacement surgery for that. even his femur has signs of stress fractures from the impact. the kneecap would be reset after they did surgery to remove what was left of the tibia and fibula.

setting up and getting the surgeries took months, the recovery; even longer, physical therapy; nearly 2 years, and another year until he could join combat once again, and even that was at a reduced rate for at least 4 years.

Something to tie you over!

- whenever bored games get played with Vinnie around he never understands how to play even the simplest games out there BUT somehow every great while he wins out of pure luck it drives Russell (mr follows the rules crazy)

- Vinnie always looks good in photos even if he doesn’t know a picture is being taken he could have just woken up looks good he could be talking looks perfect sleeping looks adorable Zoe can’t figure out how he does it she says she has never seen a bad photo of him ever

- he LOVES pancakes idk why it’s just something I always see him enjoying they are soft,fluffy and sweet and his all time favorite thing he craves besides mangos he gets so excited and does a little happy dance in his seat when the pancakes are sat in front of him he has to have a limit though because he’ll keep eating till he pukes

- I feel like he would be able to touch his tongue to his nose and show it off whenever asked if he has and “special skills”

- he would have tattoos but they would each have meaning to him each and every one so if asked he could talk about them with pride!

- he copy’s anyone he’s around just out of habit or maybe because he wants to fit in or mimic his friends let me explain- for example in the episode where Mrs twombly was doing the DNA test and Sunil was mad Vinnie started to copy him by crossing his arms too after seeing Sunil do it- I feel like he would copy his friends because doesn’t understand what’s going on in general but others do so coping them is what works best if that makes sense

- whenever he’s really upset Sunil is the only person Vinnie will open up to because he’s the only one who knows how to since they are so close and he knows him so well it’s like second nature to know what Vinnie needs something everyone else can’t do for him

- he zones out so often that he’s missed parts of conversations and while watching tv so he gets lost at what’s happening with a lot of things it’s also something he does when he gets bored or wants to not listen to someone on purpose he’s gotten to good at doing it though and doesn’t realize how often he starts to do it a habit he’s trying to break because he’s tired of the lectures from others about paying more attention to things

- he hasn’t found a wine he’s liked yet but is still willing to keep trying different ones! beer though and hard liquors are alright he is more of a soda guy after all lol

- I have to add this in here because it makes me happy if Vinnie met Russell in another universe (the little hedgehog version)he’d immediately fall in love and hold him and repeat the words “baby rusty” “baby rusty” “baby rusty” over and over he’d feed him snacks and stop anyone else from taking him from his grip because he wants to be with him (according to Vinnie)so they’d have to eventually take him and give him back to Blythe while Vinnie tries to scream and take him back from her

- if you send Vinnie on a mission for something he’ll do whatever it takes to complete it because he’s determined until he gets distracted and he forgets what it was he was doing R: “Vinnie,where are you?” “I sent you to the store an hour ago” V: “oh yeah! Now I remember I was getting milk!” “Im at the mall!” R: “……”

- I feel like he would just have so many random facts in his head and they are super random so it’s anyone’s guess as to what he really knows and when it’s going to come out of his mouth

- he’s a piker and not in the way you’d think lol he sees a pimple it must be gone he’s got a healing wound from falling it must be gone a stray hair nope can’t be there Zoe tell me him that what he does will leave scars and that sticks in the back of his mind but he can’t help it and does it anyway

- he gets so dirty so fast to the point that he has spare clothes at the ready Just in case because it happens so often paints with minka dirty, it rains he’s muddy, eats it’s all over for him

- I feel like he would sometimes shave his legs or armpits because he likes how soft he feels and tells everyone to feel him when he does it

- being scratched is almost as good as being cuddled especially on his back it’s his other form of comfort it’s the one of his ultimate forms of touch and he lives for it

- he doesn’t like being in wet clothes they stick to him and are super uncomfortable so he whines about it when it rarely happens like when pepper pushed him into a pool or when it rained super hard or when he fell at the beach in the water just walking to close to the water he hadn’t changed into his swimsuit and he freaked out about it

- he believes in lucky objects like if he finds a penny or a four leaf clover. he thinks he’ll have luck the whole rest of the day holding either one

- sunil’s parents ask about Vinnie during video calls with Sunil. They check up on him because they’ve gotten just as attached as Sunil has and treat him like a second son. Vinnie loves it though and blushes/smiles when they compliment him in anyway because parent approval is something Vinnie longs for so badly…

- ok last one for now-

- Vinnie doesn’t understand gossip when the girls talk about it. so they freely talk in front of him he gets so lost on who is who and they tell him not to worry about it. he’s tried to ask the other guys why girls do it but they had to break it to him that everyone does it and it’s mostly harmless. well safe to say he did try it himself and ended up accidentally telling madam Pom that Zoe waxes her mustache.. luckily madam Pom is a good friend and explained to him his wrong doing and how it works.They both agreed to keep what he had said a secret in exchange of Vinnie never trying to gossip again lol

yes exactly, he sometimes wins by pure luck and without a bit of trying. And of course it drives Russell crazy the most, I mean he follows the rules, actually thinks of strategies, learns from previous mistakes, all that stuff, but then there's Vinnie, who does the exact opposite and still ends up winning sometimes lololo and Russell is just at wits' end

this one actually made me verbally "awww", especially that sleeping part. Of course he looks adorable :3. And Zoe lmao, she's like Russell from the previous headcanon, because of course looking good in pictures is important to her and she tries her absolute best to look good in pictures and still sometimes deletes those pictures because "they're not good enough". And then there's Vinnie who gives absolutely zero fucks about something like that but somehow always ends up looking good ✨. And wait, idea for a follow-up headcanon! Zoe ends up having almost suspiciously big number of pictures of Vinnie on her phone because she tries to get a bad picture of him but just CaN't. "Zoe, why do you have like 200 pictures of Vinnie sleeping?" "Darling, shhh, it's not important."

omg that is also adorable, my boy eating his pancakes happily, sooo cute! And the eating till he pukes. Yeah, that's Vinnie, that's how I see it too. I imagine pancakes with mango would just make him so effing happy because it's basically just a combination of his two favourite foods

yes yes, and touch his elbow with it too. I mean, it's pretty reasonable to headcanon that or rather just headcanon him with a longer than average tongue since you know, lizards have long tongues and all that. But yes, this is my headcanon also. He can just do a lot of unusual things with his body

not only would he talk about them with pride, but he would show them off (sometimes even without being asked lol). And if they're on his arms then it's whatever, but imagine they're on his idk, chest or legs. And then he just starts removing his pants unasked. "Woah, woah, woah, what the hell are you doing? Stop taking off your pants in public!" "What? No no listen, I just have tattoos here, you need to see." Now that makes me also wonder if you have any specific ideas of exactly what tattoos he might have and what they mean.

ok ok yes, it makes sense, and he really does sometimes copies others, doesn't he? My favorite reason for him to do so is to fit in or because he thinks others are probably right so it's easier to just copy whatever they do. But also because he wants to be as similar to them as possible because they're the best and know better than he does. So yeah, he copies others to be more likeable to others (Tbh, according to psychology copying others' mannerisms does make them like you sooo.)

nawww, yes, I mean, it makes sense. And Sunil is just the only one allowed to know especially when he's sad, maybe really sad. I'd imagine that Sunil aside from different things also brings him snacks because he knows that Vinnie stress-eats and it helps him a bit. Though my Vinnie just does not open up to anyone because damn he does not deserve it, the little whiner

Ok, hear me out because I literally have the same headcanon, yes, he zones out a lot. But this one is honestly kinda canon-related? I mean the whole The Very Littlest Pet Shop episode was literally made in Vinnie's head like huh?? Well, not whole but most of it. Did you see how hard he zoned out? So yeah. My favorite part of this headcanon is probably that he just does that not to listen to somebody lmao. I mean, this is such a bastard move and I love it, "Yeah, I don't really wanna listen to this guy but walking off would be rude sooo," and then he completely zones out. I imagine he zones out a lot more when he's very sad, so he doesn't have to face the reality, he just puff! Not mentally there suddenly. However, I'd imagine others often catch up because they'd stop talking and wait for his reply and he's just standing there's motionlessly with gaze not exactly on them. And saying his name doesn't work either in those situations. Like you have to actually slap him sometimes in order for him to come back to reality. Once he does, he's completely bamboozled though because he has no idea what's been happening the last minutes. And yeah, if you consider that theadcanon with the headcanon that he often zones out it's not so surprising that he forgot what he was doing, is it?

yes, exactly! Me and you truly think the same about him sometimes. He would. He'd shave his legs and as soon as he sees any or all of his friends the first thing he does is show off his now hairless leg proudly and they are just like "ok?" not understanding how that's special but he just insists they should touch that leg. Some... are more willing than others. Minka is very willing for example, hell yeah give her this smooth smooth leg to touch. It's not every day after all that she gets to touch someone else's leg like that, let alone Vinnie's because most of the time he doesn't care about body hair especially on legs and just lets it grow

this this this omg, you know already how much I love this one. Yes, yeeeesh, he loves back scratchies. He just absolutely melts because it feel so good and will do basically anything if you give him a good back scratch, the longer the better. Literally, he doesn't mind it going on for hours if possible, rad marks on his back after that be damned. He also likes that because he has more back pain than he cares to admit. So yeah, he just melts and tries to make it go on as long as possible. And being scratched by more than one person? Oh goodness, he might actually kill just to get it

to be honest, who likes being in wet clothes ahaha. Vinnie doesn't, that's for sure. And Pepper is such a certified pool thrower, she absolutely does that. Especially with Vinnie bc she knows that he won't actually be mad (for too long) and also just because it's easy to push his small ass into a pool or anything else. Also, that beach part, I can't help but imagine him just falling fully face flat but then he's so unhappy that he's all wet that he just lies there for a moment wondering why has God forsaken him

ok, hear me out, what if in some twisted-Vinnie-logic, he though that if holding onto it (like the four lea clover) will bring him luck, then what if he ate it?! Surely that will bring him more luck... right? Not penny though, he wouldn't eat that... well, actually... maybe he would

ah this, I love Sunil's parents basically being Vinnie's parents too because he pretty much does not have ones. This is just such a good headcanon for me argh, I love it. I mean, someone has to ensure Vinnie is still sane, someone who will also be parental with him. Yes, he's basically their second son and he loves it, he loves them so much and is so happy to see them. Video calls are one thing, but he's so happy when they visit in person and practically bounces in anticipation

ok, bit isn't it kinda hypocritical? The girls all gossip like nobody's business but when Vinnie does it it's suddenly bad? Nah, I think we should let him, even if it's about Zoe waxing her mustache. But also, Vinnie and Madame Pom? Why do I like this dynamic when I think about it? Like? Yeeeees, let them be. number 1: why is he so crazy even BEFORE becoming a jujutsu sorcerer

it seems like he had a normal and happy upbringing, he never even met his real parents or had any contact w the sorcery world before the events in the series (his own birth doesnt count) so WHY IS HE LIKE THIS T-T

im so serious. he is UNHINGED. its like his survival instinct kicks in a million years later than normal. stubborn and sturdy almost to a fault, both physically and mentally, always running towards danger unprepared, getting seriously hurt, and getting back up again. like yea ok todo picked him up during his fight w mahito but, dude, itadori has died TWICE in the series till now n hes still going, his will stronger than ever before (ya know wat they say tho, 3rd times the charm am i right hahah*WRECKS THE ROOM*)

i mean even gojo says hes not ok in the head in like chapter 5 (FIVE!!!!!!!!!)

tbh this is the question that bothers me the most but its also prob the one that will never be answered...man..

he learned to use the technique super fast too BUT thats probably due to the "cheating" yuta metions when sukuna asks how the fuck did they power up so fast. i saw a yt video theorizing this was maybe due to training done in a simple domain that compresses time (like when maki trained w the sumo guy)...idk dude..

(btw i think so, so often abt how gojo theorized that itadori maybe could use sukunas technique/s since itadori was borrowing his cursed power….i wonder if he never could do it cos sukuna was so freaking uncooperative until the bitter end aka their soul divorce lol.. bc clearly itadori is capable of learning techniques that are not his own..idk idkkkk just sayin….wondering…)

OH YEA i almost 4got cos i just made another post abt it but he can also use the fucking reverse curse technique as well. bro even gojo had trouble mastering that..like again yea they "cheated" but still wow.

& it looks like itadori in particular can affect others' soul with precision.

the question is How the hell..... bc as far as we know no one else has this power amongst the surviving sorcerers (i want her (nobara) back so bad rn....)

IT COULD BE that book choso got from yuki that contained all of her research abt the soul..still, itadori is the only one whos shown to be able to actually be able to do this so accurately. sukuna is the one who confirms it:

mushroom sly backstory!!!!!!! tw for general gross fungi shit, kinda body horror-y, etc

Some Guy, in ye olden times, is just fuckin around with fungi and makes this crazy powerful fungi! the ultimate life form!

it eats him

(not really lol)

it takes over his body and uses him as a vessel to spread to lots of other people

(since obvi no one at this time has special healing powers like sly, the fungi reaches the Brain Controlling point pretty fast)

the fungi basically decimates the town

a few brave survivors manage to kill everyone who was infected, the fungi on them kinda just. dissolves away

except the originally infected guy. idk why maybe bc he was the first one to be taken by the fungi so its like,,,, hardier or something

(hes basically dead but the fungi still seems healthy)

they smash his head into a pulp and bury him

"Phew! Thank goodness that's over with" they say! "No one will ever be infected by this thing again!"

BA DUM TSS

cue mr beewell. obviously hes only tryna dig up graves with mellified people in them so. i think there somethin weird about Some Guy's grave

maybe the soil looks weird or theres faint glowing mycellium or smthn idk im not the fungi expert. either way sly digs this guy up

the guy is completely covered in the fungi, but it looks very dead even tho it prob still has a faint glow

sly, being the genius he is, decides to partake in exactly Zero extra safety precautions and load this bad boy into his truck

because this thing looks weird and is potentially magic!

he takes the guy back to home base, unloads it somewhere, prob pokes and prods it a little before he hits the fucken hay

since the fungi needs about an hour of contact to spread, im saying he was just Sciencing long enough to catch the fungi. or he took a bite

however im also saying that since the fungi was mostly dead, there was no actual physical evidence of him catching it before he went ta sleep.

(no little mushrooms no weird patches etc)

so hes oblivious until he wakes up

he wakes up. notices some weird textures on his skin. turns on the lights and finds a mirror

what the fuck

theres patches of mycellium shit everywhere! and some baby mushrooms also

hes probably freaked out, he tries all the obvious methods of removing stuff, etc

calls up taylor eventually

[CUE CROWD CHEERING]

taylor time!!!!!!!!!! he also has no idea what to do. if this au intersects with mothboy au(prob not because its just. a Lot at once but its a cute idea) then they figure out eventually that t cant catch it. if its just Normal T then he just. wears gloves, probably a mask as well just in case of spores

they probably do some research, maybe t takes some samples for a lab, etc

at some point, maybe later in the day or the next day, sly is probably not having a great time bc those mushrooms are getting bigger and the patches have prob shifted a bit

GOOP TIME

as ive mentioned, the goops is kinda triggered by strong emotions. so hes just kinda secreting it rn.

hes in denial mode bc its Fine, actually, and also there's no good way to remove it other than shaving off any growth around the eye as best as he can

he wakes up in the middle of the night bc something feels wrong

everything looks kinda weird. a little off, like somethings missing

there is a giant clump of mushrooms growing out of his eye.

anyway in other news

today was pretty decent - ben got a case of the sads at about 9pm but actually recovered p fast and without any crying that i saw but he was in the bath for a bunch of the evening so i cannot verify this. the sad attacks are definitely getting more spread out + (i think from an outsider perspective) less intense. i genuinely think as well that we hadn't had sex in ages (ofc the week ana was away my period started so we didnt really bother) which made us both kind of :(

we had sex :) + read to each other. ben asked if we could do more reading out loud to each other at bedtime bc he really liked our matsuo basho reading. i liked it as well - i think i focused much better on teh words than i usually do - so ben picked a shortlist of books to read next (i haven't read a book in like 10y so there's no point me picking one) + i picked one from that + anyway we're reading "this is how you lose the time war" and im reading all of red's bits + he's doing blue. ill be honest... not fully sure about teh writing style... ben used the word florid as a compliment + i would use the same word, but as an insult lol. (very very representative of our characters i think) some of the sentences i really like but so far i cant feel much of a difference btwn red + blue - like if one of them wrote very floridly + one of them wrote very starkly i feel i'd appreciate that more bc you would be getting some insight into the characters but as it stands, the entire thing feels a bit like a creative writing exercise to me. we're not that far in tho so maybe it will capture me more as we go i should send ben some of my fanfic (look it's just a hobby) + see what he thinks lol

we played chess next to each other in bed :) he's been making some tentative little steps into learning / playing the game :)

i had intended on doing more work than i ended up doing but i think sometimes just spending hours and hours with your partner doing not much is the best way to spend a saturday

ana is back now! i forgot to say yesterday but they are back :) i did miss them a lot! whenever we're apart i yearn and pine

god, also! i forgot to say the other day but i needed something to watch while i cleaned my alpaca the other day + settled on red white and royal b lue + it was the tropiest shit ive ever seen in my life. i dont know if it's bc the author (it's an adaptation) comes from fanfic or bc the fanfic style has become indistinguishable from YA style more generally these days but it was kind of nuts to me how much the film could have just been a collection of AO3 tags?? im not even bashing fanfic bc i ahve written it since i was a kid and some fanfic is better than some published work and it's all a rich tapestry. HOWEVER this film was just crazy in its ... nothingness?? it was a perfectly fine watch i guess if you're looking for a princess diaries-y gay romance + god knows there are enough sugary romance films about straight people and those cut from the rainbow cloth also deserve their fair share of merry dross but yeah i was just surprised!! idk

Especially team Maki and Slacker since both hit like trucks (so does Holly, but I'll get to that in a second) Team Mothiva would probably be the first to get picked off, considering you beat them twice in game, so I guess they'd be the weakest out of the four? And while Zasp is fast, idk if he's quite as fast as Hornet or fast enough for Holly's teleporting. And Mothiva is wet paper at hand to hand combat.

Kabbu's weapon being his horn is probably an issue, seeing as the siblings use metal weapons that are probably made to get through shell. And seeing as most bugs aren't wearing armor, and those that are in HK you typically beat the shit out of them until they reveal the fleshy parts (False Knight) or those with shields you have to move fast enough to get around the shield.

And Kabbu, my dear, your horn is not made of metal.

Leif has the slight advantage of using mainly magic so he can stay away from the worst of the fight (same with Mothiva, another magic user, and Yunna), but I'm not sure ice would deter the siblings too too much. (Especially if we're going with my long fic where Ghost shares a body with Radi) and idk how Vi would hold up. Probably not that great. To use her weapon she has to fling it, which means it can be broken or caught when she does so, and then she's out of a weapon.

Maki himself has the misfortune of using a piece of plastic as a sword, against three bugs all using metal weapons. Team Maki and Slacker im not gonna get that far into considering I've never beaten them.

Now to the siblings

I'm gonna go with my full grown Ghost for this.

So, the Ghost has the same fighting style I do, which is hit as fast and hard as you can, tank some hits if you have the masks. And if you get overwhelmed. Descending Dark everything.

Considering none of the Bugaria bugs have AOE spells (to the best of my memory) or at least not super strong ones, both Holly and Ghost each have one AOE spell. Hornets is smaller, but id imagine it'd still really hurt to get caught up in thread that's whipping around like crazy.

But with both Ghost and Holly being decently heavy magic users as well as melee combatants, and using both rather fluidly, it'd probably take a while to figure out the tells between a blade coming for your face or a spell. Especially if you're trying to focus on taking one of them down and the other either blindsides you or uses a spell. There's also the fact that both are tall and aside from maybe going for the fleshy part of their joints, most of their vulnerable points are above your head. Especially Holly with the missing arm.

There's also Ghost's nail arts, which if they're already really tall and probably wield a weapon taller than you, are terrifying to see, especially cyclone slash. So they could probably hop away from the fight for a moment for whatever reason, charge up an attack, and then suddenly they'd be in the middle of the fight and probably hitting sever bugs with one swipe.

Holly also has some generally large, sweeping swipes that would probably hit several bugs, as well as the ability to teleport. The teleporting and Ghost just generally being able to dash through attacks would probably throw you off pretty quick.

Hornet is the non magic user of the three, which isn't really too big of a deal cause all three are mainly melee fighters. She has the joy of setting up traps on the fly. And while Ghost can fly, she'd probably wind up being mostly airborne in this fight. With there being areas she can probably haul herself up off the ground, it probably wouldn't be too surprising for her to not be there one second, and suddenly someone is nearly speared the next second. But also it would be amusing if she could wrap her string around someone and use that to toss them, maybe to Ghost or Holly.

Both her and Holly will occasionally block and parry hits, the siblings mostly focus on trying to get hit as little as possible, and just having to deal with it when they do get hit.

(I would ramble on Hornet more but I've been largely avoiding SilkSong trailers cause I would like to go into it as blind as possible.)

Now the Bugaria bugs are probably tankier, seeing as dodging isn't an option in game and you just block hits. So the siblings would most likely have to hit, be blocked, and then move fast enough to get an actual hit in before their attacks can be blocked again. And the teams have the virtue of being, well, teams, and having stronger moves that rely on working with each other while the siblings tend to be loners and are probably more competitive with each other.

All that said, the Teams would put up a good fight! But they'd still get steamrolled faster than their normal fights. After all, this is ten against three.

But it's ten against two godlings, one with ages of protecting a dead kingdom against thieves and infected bugs that have no issue hitting as hard as possible. The other godling being born and raised and trained by the kingdoms best knights to contain an angry, bitter goddess, and even when infected, still had the strength to fight back against her.

And also against the young god of gods, who ascended when much smaller and weaker. And is also a certified gremlin.

This is all negated if someone breaks Ghost's mask and let's out the Lord of Shades. Then everyone has a whole nother problem.

This chapter fuuuck you made me feel every single emotion Laurent had ... His love and his anger felt so real 😭 and August... Well I'm going to be 100% honest usually I don't care too much about characters that our narrator doesn't care much about (damen) even more if they are never there. Yet I really like your August, I liked him even more because fics often write him like a perfect person and to me he doesn't feel real. I get that to Lauren, who was a kid with a 10 years older brother, August was/is perfect but reading him like that doesn't feel real. So kudos to your August to be real, to have flaws, feeling beside loving Laurent etc.

About him and Damen..... I'm always with whoever tells the story so in this case Laurent and I'm with him I would also feel jealous as fuck and like I'm the second option. And I keep imagining what would happen if both needed Damen at the same time who would he choose what would happen. 🧐🧐🧐

I think Damen's reaction to laurent and Bastian was so good and in character for a Scorpio. Those assholes I love them and I hate them (my dad and my two best friends are 🦂♏)

I read your answer about him being an Scorpio and I agree completely but something funny to me is that if I didn't headcanon Vere/Akielos as Europe and they were from my side of the world Damen would be a Taurus and Laurent an Scorpio and that make sense to me too. Haha I hc them like you but I think it is funny that they still work the other way around.

Also I don't know how you feel about this but...... August is definitely an Aries... Hear me out he's a natural leader, a good fighter (the best Laurent has seen) willing to die for what he believes/loves. Impulsive with a chaotic maybe even obsessed personality while also makes him lose interest very fast. Aries and Scorpio (damen) are an amazing good/bad relationship because both are very intense. I think an Aries would def kill someone like August did very messy and passionately impulsive irrational and they would 100% call their Scorpio best friend a more dark strategist who won't panic because they are capable of killing too. But he would also be great at planning how to get rid of the evidence. They (we haha im an Aries too) are also kinda selfish which I feel August is like he thinks Damen hates him for mixing him in his secrets yet he keeps calling. But I'm suree you have you hc for him so please tell me everything even if you think he is a idk a cancer soo please tell me everything.

im literally like crichton at the end of the finale now (fr struggling to putwords together) but i was being patient and polite with d'argo and chiana but

rightso ifr am struggling with putting things into words tonight i feel fucking . braindead and have done for the past two nights

firstly: i totally dont buy the marriage thing sorry. i dont get why theyre rushing this relationship so much. i just dont fucking buy any bit of it & idc... LOL... LIKE-

im not even against-against them (or i wasnt). BUT i think chiana and d'argo could work if done right, ive said that. or at least theyd be an interesting exploration even if they didnt end up together-together. i can see a version of events and miscommunication, done right, where they do gravitate towards each other since theyre travelling in close quarters like that and they have the wrong expectations and theres fallout and such- but all the way up to marriage? i dont know... i do not see it... like

i can seeeee chiana maybe panicking and just. agreeing to marriage even if she doesnt actually yknow with d'argo but i dont see d'argo proposing this fast. like this is crazy..... give it more than like. half a season of fucking background work, holy shit, yknow? eve n if theyhave been through so much together, like... i think i heard they got married at some point but i seriously expected that to be like s4- bringing it up now?

literallyyyyyy. my honest 2 god truth. in my opinion? IF d'argo and chiana had never been a thingl; IF you wiped the slate clean, and never had even entertained it... chiana and jothee? they would actually make a HELL of a lot more sense to me.

like i always saw chiana as a very young adult. probs my ageish - maybe like a year or two younger?

and so i think jothee... again. shrugs. idk how luxons would age; fine, if he's technically younger in years, but like... FROM what ive seen of him, he reads like someone also of that age range, maybe a touch younger. but definitely close enough that i can see them very easily gravitating towards each other.

and again. like i think i said before, initially i read chiana and d'argo as more like... a parental dynamic, if literally anything? which is why i wasnt totally onboard with them to begin with- but was willing to, like, go with it because i understand that was my initial interpretation, not the canon gospel - and hey, if they can convince me otherwise then cool. i'm the one who misread it, yeah?

(bc also i will say like: ithink d'argo IS like a good example of being very alien in terms of age, in combination with him also being a bit off, i suppose, bc like... they say he's young multiple times in the show, and they say it was odd he went off and had kidsyoung- so like? to me... i again figure, like, a very young dad who just seems a hell of a lot older. i know guys likethat irl-plenty of them- who matured v fast even if theyre really still. a lot younger, in honesty. and i think thats fair enough.)

BUT YEAH. LIKE. ITS SO FUCKING.., EVEN THEN IT- IT JSUT KINDA FEELS .ughhg. RUHGHGH. like

in isolation. if we had one or the other i THINK it wouldnt be fucking weird. for the reasons i said. i really dont think it would; the writers could make the either or work. but like- both of them...? yeah no- thats what makes it strange, even if you do play fast and loose with how ages work here, bc its like.. that DOES feel like a really freaking. icky shift to me even if i dont think chiana is taking advantage of jotheee or d'argo is taking advantage of chiana necessarily. theres just a strange dissonance, here, and its like.. mmmnn. noo :(

bc like again i said. i dont find chiana and jothee that weird by themselves and thats whatkinda makes it a shame bc i do think they actually suit each other better and especially frustrating bc. i just fucking wish they hadnt done chiana and d'argo at all at this point, bc it hasnt really done much to give us anything at all. and, like i think d'argo and her just feel like an unfolding misunderstanding- and not in the "oh, we balance each other out; we will work towards it" kinda way, but just like a. these ppl dont fit and they tried it butits just not meant 2 be way and thats fineee i LIKE it when you explore stuff like that man but eek they really... ARENT taking the time to explore it in that way. are they. theyrejust kinda botching it and

BC MEANWHILE LIKE. IF WE WERE TO TALK "OH, WHO WOULD BE AN ACTUAL THRIVING COUPLE?" from what ive seen thus far... jothee and chiana have a lot in common that i could easily see them connecting with quite strongly andi think... with the both of them in another environment, it could be messy, but with the rest of the moya crew grounding them it could actually be really sweet for them to find sth in each other. but like any potential of that- yeah. no . its gross now. because of the kinda setup presented

wed august 17th 2022 journal

I’m hi as hell rn. had to spell it like that cause autocorrect kept fucking with me and ion like that. I’m going into my 3rd year of drama school this September and I’m completely nervous about it. I just can’t believe I’m actually at drama school doing cool things with my life. meeting cool people and actually just living quite bohemian in a way. It’s cool. there’s something so mystifying about it all. alluring. my heart is beating quite fast rn just thinking about it all. im ready. I’m ready to show them all. second year really tried to take my soul from me. just got my pizza. intuition guided me to the door cause it’s 00:35am rn and it was expected to arrive to me at 00:55-1:10am. something higher was calling me I guess. that’s probably a perfect metaphor for what awaits me at the beginning of September. I think I’m gonna miss being a student you know. i think it’s cause I’ve romanticised the idea of what I saw on tv of what it means to be a student. Late nights. Parties. love gone right. love gone wrong. people coming and going. trying to get it right. getting it wrong. getting it right. nights where you feel rich as shit cause student finance dropped vs nights where it’s only pasta and tuna or Lidl brand evenings (not even shitting on Lidl like that; they’re helpful as fuck to nigga. But it’s true man.) early mornings. the travel. the discounts! oh god the discounts. thank god for discounts. we live for the night we will remember with people we won’t forget. just the beginning of the journey for us all. the start point. listening to that motivational playlist on my way to school just to go and live my dream and shit. Be silly for 9 hours everyday. Be the clown so you can laugh at everything. Find humour in it. In the everyday mundane. That’s also another title for how my time has been at LAMDA. I’ve learnt so much on my journey about myself. About my year. About the school. Habits, the good, the bad, the ugly. I learnt about how important it is to pick your tribe wisely cause everyone talks here. And a bad mouth is bad business as far as I’m concerned. I’ve also learnt you have to really trust the process and have faith that you know what you’re doing cause I’ve seen that also the opposite way (when everything goes wrong during a performance) and the consequences that come with that and the self reflection and imposter syndrome that attaches itself to that self reflection too and feeds off your ego. I’ve learnt about how professionalism is a thing that not many of us have. the importance and value of each other’s time and how it can’t be wasted concerning yourself with anything but the goal, anything but the objectives at hand. It serves no one. I’ve learnt how people are. Some people live to lie to people, idk maybe it’s for protection or maybe it’s for manipulation but all I know is I see it in some people and even in myself at times and it’s crazy. I’ve learnt confidence goes a long way. And if I confident in myself that I can achieve anything. I spent many days here angry at myself and my abilities and half assing things in the name of trying not to fuck up or trying to see perfection that stabbed at my confidence and killed it. I had to find my way back to myself. I’m still on that journey now as we speak. I think I’m excited for third year. I’m gonna miss this year and these people. We’ve had one hell of a ride and it’s our last dance (many for the rest of our lives. Others may just be blessed to work with the same member ever again.) we’ll argue, we’ll bitch, we’ll complain, we’ll lash out, we’ll lie, we’ll comfort, we’ll protect, especially interests of ourselves and others close to us, we’ll laugh, we’ll cry, we’ll go alone, we’ll confide in, we’ll do whatever but we’ll always somehow pull it off in performance szn. every time . I remember Vik saying I need to want this shit more because it was looking like I was half assing everything again. And how it takes me a while to warm up to the audience when I’m on stage and he’s only seeing flashes of my brilliance when he wants to see it there from the get go.

started up zelda to dick around for like an hour & was SHOCKED to find myself on this dragon island. its been so long i literally forgot where i was lol

its difficult to get around here! rain means climbing is hard and i cant make upward gusts from campfires easily :( maybe i need my bike...

man it reminds me so much of the great sky islands...i feel like this must be the second largest collection of islands, actually. but it's been so long since the tutorial and the music is Like That it feels like a ruin of a ruin.......

ugh i ran into the bottom of an island and lost my bike >:(

my other issue is. i dont have a single nonmetallic weapon OR bow. so. my twink ass is gonna get fried

and the islands are small so i keep getting ALMOST KNOCKED OFF!!! EXCUSE ME....

like i have the lightning proof armor i do but it is not at all upgraded so id be taking my life into my hands. no win scenario

OKAY i made it out of sight but. this thing im supposed to carry is WAY heavier than a crystal. i carry those all the time and they do make the bike wonky, even more wonky than koroks do, but i can barely get it up off the ground. i even tried the "old" bike build that im more comfortable with and no dice. i fall out of the sky as soon as i get in it. insane.

ok. i made it. jesus fuck. i remember looking for a chasm here marked on my map...i guess im about to find it. AUGH

i havent been to the depths in a long time. i forgot that it's like - you see one thing out in the dark. in this instance, poes. and when you get there you see another thing - in this instance, monsters, and behind them, a lightroot. i could make my own little trail forever this way but it would lead me away from the temple and idk if i wanna explore or do the dungeon :/ i hate to leave poes uncollected and lightroots unlit but i also hate to stray so far from ym objective and have to walk ALLLLLL the way back
