i was tagged by @trashpocket (hey bae ;)) and since im lonely here on tumblr and have no one but the void to yell at, i won’t be tagging anyone :((

okay let’s start off with my published WIPS lol i have quite a collection and boy do i regret posting most of these, but anyway that’s here’s my hot girl shit

"i’ll figure it out with a little more time” - (if u knew me at my thai BL phase no u didn’t :)) anyways this was a supposed to be a pretty short fic that features an oblivious Sarawat not knowing how to navigate his feelings towards Tine and Tine being an equally giant dumbass. their school is hosting a school dance and Sarawat’s emotionally constipated ass doesn’t know how to SPEAK and just ASK Tine to go w/ him. i swear i might be the author of this story but i also get mad at these fuckers

“we’re boyfriends?” - ah yes another Thai BL fic, i will admit. i have NO idea where to take this story lmao. i still wanna finish it tho cuz i hate disappointing ppl. the fic starts with Ae and Pond making a dumb bet so Pond will stop jerking off in their shared room and promises that he won’t do that as long Ae dates someone random and based off of Pond’s choosing. sweet bby Pete wanders into their campus accidentally and gets picked. Ae does the deed and tells Pete they’re dating. Ae thinks that Pete and Pond are scheming to make his life a living hell but lo and behold Pete has actually fallen in love with him (heheheh)

“i wanna ruin our friendship” - hello lgbtq+ community :). we all know where this fuckin title is from don’t be sneaky. so here’s my KilluGon college fic. I initially wrote this like two years ago and uploaded it on wattpad lmaooo then i edited it and posted on ao3 and once again i have no idea where to take this (ive forgotten what my original idea for this was lol) so basically Killua and Gon are really close friends and Gon is sortof a player in this AU idk why khdkadha but anywayz all of Gon’s exes have left him bc they’re jealous of Killua but Gon would never pick his current S/O over him so HAAA. it all goes to shit tho when Retz decides to trick Gon to taking her back for the school dance and idk what path to go for T_T

“pussy talented”- (don’t mind the title lmao i just wanted a cat pun in there somewhere) basically, Bokuto is a firefighter and Akaashi an editor. They work near each other and Bokuto often visits Kuroo, who works with Akaashi. Ofc Akaashi falls in love at first sight but then he overhears that he has a "Kenma" waiting for him at home. Akaashi assumes that he's probably Bo's boyfriend and then leaves him alone, making Bo confused as hell. Little that he knows that Kenma is actually a grumpy calico cat.

“killugon flower shop AU” - Wing owns a flower shop and Killua helps out with Zushi along with Alluka out of boredom and one day Alluka asks Killua to help out with her client then he meets Gon and is immediately smitten until Gon says that he's looking for something that he can give to a girlfriend (it was actually Ging's request lol), lots of misunderstanding, Killua being too shy to ask the handsome stranger out and Alluka and Zushi being done with his shit

“rice isn’t the only thing getting crushed here” - Osamu falls in love with one of his most loyal costumers—Akaashi and he thinks he might just have a shot at it until one day while Akaashi is ordering a bunch of riceballs, Bokuto Koutaro of Japan's National Volleyball team enters the restaurant and sweeps Akaashi of his feet, unexpected angst and a generous helping of unrequited pining :)) dw this fic can go two ways: Bokuto is just Akaashi's best friend who he hasn't seen in months or b. Bokuto is actually Akaashi's fiance maybe i’ll write both endings heehee

“killua is sad and gets lovebombed” - while staying in Whale Island, Killua thinks he that he doesn't deserve Gon and tries to leave him while he's asleep but his plan is stopped when Gon wakes up and they both end up revealing their true feelings for each other

“excuse to write charles getting fucked by two delicious men” - Erik and Charles have been in a relationship for years now and basically fell out of love so when Erik gets promoted and has to move, Charles agrees and so they break up. Charles turns to Logan (who harbors a giant crush on Charles) for companionship and sleep together once. Logan says it was an accident but Charles wants more and they establish a FWB situation of sorts since Charles isn't ready yet. But then Charles gets into an accident and can't remember what happened the past year and a half so he still thinks he's with Erik. Meanwhile, Erik is living a luxurious yet empty life and when he gets the call from Raven about Charles' situation, he immediately goes back running.

“killua in whale island” - KilluGon are like 20-ish and Killua visits Whale Island and Ging just happens to be there as well. Killua thinks about how even though Gon and Ging are near identical, Gon just looks so much more handsome. (probs just a oneshot)

“another horny cherik fic” - Charles is a demon who was accidentally summoned when Raven, Hank and Ororo uses Erik's blood to perform a demon summoning ritual (as a joke) they didn't know it would actually work so now Charles is stuck with Erik because the human absolutely refuses to sell his soul

“IwaOi overboard AU” - Oikawa is a rich pretty boy and Iwa a college dropout who works at his uncle's repair shop with his younger brother Tobio and cousin Kyoutani ( both 5 yrs old). One day he gets called over to fix one of Oikawa's cars and after a failed and disastrous encounter with a drunk Oikawa, Iwa leaves the mansion fuming. Later in the day, it's discovered that Oikawa got in a car crash that took away his memories and since Oikawa apparently lives alone, he has no one to get him. not until Iwa comes ofc and with a malicious and vengeful intent, he tells Oikawa that they're dating and live together in his crappy apartment

“dancer Akaashi” - Akaashi is a dancer, Osamu is a bartender at the bar he works at and has also been in love with Akaashi for the past two years. He doesn't confess since he knows Akaashi doesn't like romance but then enters a bright eyed cheery Bokuto who sweeps the unreachable Midnight Moon off of his feet, bokuaka but im leaning towards bokuosaaka since akaashi deserves two boyfriends

“watch me be poetically horny for Akaashi Keiji” - Akaashi is a vampire and Osamu, a skilled artist. Akaashi posing nude and delighted at how beautifully Osamu portrays him. Osamu says otherwise.

Cherik College AU - drift by great gable.... late teens cherik... Erik being a misanthropic horny bastard and Charles a snarky piece of shit.... they get paired up for 7 minutes in heaven... turns out Charles has been ogling him for a while now.. hmmmm,,,.,. ( i wrote this when i was drunk and my og draft is too long so take this instead lolz)

“ BokuAka (NSFW) ” - Bokuto pushing off a guy who tried to hit on Akaashi while they're at a club. Akaashi gets so turned on he immediately drags Bokuto to the bathroom where he gets his facefucked in one of the bathroom stalls or Akaashi getting his face fucked in a dirty alley at the back of a bar after Bokuto gets into a fistfight.

“KuroKen (NSFW) ” -Kenma does top during sex but but he's just really lazy to put in the effort

Masterlist

This will serve as a personal tracker of all of the fics I have ever written, all of the books and series I have consumed etc. I wrote this out to help me organize my thoughts since I have time now to reflect on this closet hobby of mine. I also put it up just in case anyone has ever read my stuff and is curious about how these works are doing in my head space.

Some were written back when I was way younger so apologies for the quality.

ALEX RIDER

Memories don't keep people grounded in their present. They're the reason people think of what ifs and would haves, regrets and daydreams. Alex sees three dimensions of his reality and makes a decision. Set after Never Say Die.

It's April, the time of year when most students start salvaging their grades. Missions had taken their toll on Alex's grades and he needs to start salvaging soon or risk repeating the year. Nature wasn't on his side though and it turned out that his devil's luck had just run out.

Paradis High school starts a program incorporating adulting into their curriculum and Hange and Levi are paired together.

Hange already had the innate analysis skills and the quick wittedness to excel in the classroom. Chess should have come easy for her. As she processed her fifth loss to the man in front of her, she started to understand that there was more to the game than meets the eye.

Slight AU! Although Levi is humanity's strongest soldier in the battlefield, his rough childhood had left him weaker and more vulnerable to illness. Levi had always taken measures to prevent sickness nit anyone who has ever been close to him caught wind on it anyway. A series of oneshots throughout the story focusing on Levi's chronic weakness and others taking care of him.

Big Hero Six

Deal with the Devil (AO3/Tumblr/FFN)

When mourning becomes too much for him, Hiro finds himself resorting to prayers and deals to bring back the brother he lost. The devil may have had pity on him but he never promised to let Hiro go unscathed.

Grieving may be a long and painful process but in time most people do recover. For Hiro Hamada though something probably went wrong along the way because from what Aunt Cass could see, he was moving on yet at the same time, he wasn't.

Gilan accepts Morgarath's challenge in the Plains of Uthal and Halt is left to care for his apprentice in the aftermath of the battle. Halt wonders why it took him this long to realize that there was no fine line between an apprentice and a son.

Status: WIP. I have written out all the way until chapter 5 but I completely lost the files. I don’t know if my current frustration will allow me to continue this.

Will had fallen from his place as one of the top rangers in the corps and one of the top figures in Araluen and it's up to his friends to help pull him back up. Recovery Fic.

Sooo I compiled a small list of some of my favorite Roy/Riza fics both for my own reference and for anyone else looking for some good fic to read?

Just a point of reference, I have a BIG OL’ Riza Hawkeye bias so I tend to gravitate towards fics that are more Riza-centric? Also I have a preference for AU’s so there’s going to be a disproportionate amount of those in this list lol.

❤️ Our embalmed hearts, our desolate kingdoms by spooky_bee (T, Multi-Chapter, Complete) Summary: "He leans back, palms connecting with the concrete, and looks up over their city, their desolate kingdom. In the rain, Central City might as well be the ruins of Xerxes, empty and grey, and he and she may as well be the last two people on earth." Or, Love in the Time of Giant Robots.

Possibly my favorite Royai fic? It’s a Eva AU with a really well executed but SLOW build. I’m going to try not to ramble too much about this fic but uhhhhh it’s one of the main reasons why I even started making this list to begin with, just so I had an excuse to shamelessly suggest people to read it. There’s a lot of love put into the writing, world building and character development and it has one of the most extensive Riza characterizations I’ve ever read? It’s just a beautifully introspective piece of work and the way Roy and Riza’s relationship is written is so sincere and earnest that it KILLS me that this fic isn’t more popular than it is.

You definitely get your action fix but the character interactions and relationships are really the star here and it’s done PAINFULLY well. (Also spoiler warning for major character death but it’s left kind of ambiguous tbh so it didn’t bother me too much)

❤️ Well-Behaved Women by ehmazing (T, Multi-Chapter, Complete) Summary: If she'd known she'd be entangled in so much politics, dog hair, and personal business, maybe Sheska would not have become the First Lady's personal assistant.

Recently came across this fic and it’s also become one of my top favorites! Really good character writing and third person perspective done so well you wish it wasn’t because you want! to know! more! Though I have mixed feelings about whether or not Roy and Riza should/would get married in canon, if it were to happen, this is probably the only way I could see it working.

Basically: good writing and gREAT re-readability factor for those little understated and subtle character interactions. Also Sheska/Maria as a pairing has a lot of untapped potential that the writer takes advantage of lol. They’re!! really!! cute!!

❤️ A GOOD ASS FMA UNI FIC!!

Another!! top fave fic

OKAY so this one does get pretty steamy at some parts and I know minors follow me, which is why I’m choosing not to include a direct link to this fic. BUT if you’re 18+ and want a link feel free to drop me an ask (off anon pls) and I can send it your way! The modern characterizations of the fma cast are fantastic and everyone vibes really well together! I have a super soft spot for this fic bc i’m sentimental about my uni days and it made me hardcore miss my friends lol so uh kristine if you ever read this just know you’re vry talented bravo you got me good

无用 / you might get what you're after by roxast (T, Multi-Chapter, Ongoing) Summary: “Is Mustang being bossy again?”“It’s called 'delegating'.”[Or, Roy spends his senior year of college wrapped up in more ways than one.]

Hehehe another uni fic that I really like! ....I feel like I’m exposing myself lmao it’s very obvious what au I’m most partial to but ANYWAYS super fun concept with two other great follow-along stories in this series (The first being scar-centric and the other through riza’s perspective). All the character interactions are super sweet and I’m looking forward to where it’s going next!

Lucidity by orphan_account (T, Multi-Chapter, Incomplete) Summary: Inception AU. Roy Mustang was one of the finest Extractors in the business until he broke ranks and left his old job behind. Now he and his trusted Architect, Riza Hawkeye, are risking their lives to undo their former employers.

A short and unfortunately abandoned fic but I still really like it! There’s a good sense of atmosphere and I think the writer did a good job of maintaining a level of intrigue in Roy/Riza’s relationship. Definitely worth checking out for the little soft moments of interaction they have.

❤️ Infernia by mitsys (T, oneshot) Summary: Some stories aren't told in headlines or newspapers, but in the touch of hands and minds. A Pacific Rim AU following Riza Hawkeye and her partner, Roy Mustang.

So...listen. I have low standards when it comes Pacific Rim AU’s…because they already automatically meet my one standard. But!! This fic is short, sweet, and really well written. The writer really captures what I think makes the Roy/Riza dynamic so interesting to me in the first place: unspoken understanding and subtlety!! Their interactions with each other definitely has a subtle established relationship feel without being too over the top or out of character. Overall just a really solid oneshot. I love it.

Where is Our Gravity? by the_musical_alchemist (T, Multi-Chapter, Incomplete) Summary: Ed remembers the hopelessness of the arena and how it sunk under his skin like poison. It’s a curse that never leaves you, just something else you resign yourself to in order to keep on living.

Hunger Games AU: Roy/Riza in roles of Finnick/Annie and Ed/Winry in roles of Katniss/Peeta. Not really spoilers if you’ve read the book series but warning for major character deaths. However the events aren’t ordered chronologically so you can...technically...trick your mind into thinking it didn’t happen and you’re still in the past lol. Writer does a good job of both keeping the tone of Roy/Riza as adults and also maintaining the right amount of intrigue in their relationship in a way that implies a lot of weight and shared history. Which I dig! A lot!!

Larded All with Sweet Flowers by FullmetalArchivist (1stTimeCaller) (T, oneshot)

Summary: There's enough on Riza's plate as it is; closing night of one of the most famous plays in the world, press conferences and trying to herd actors to their places. She really doesn't need the extra headache of having to navigate her feelings for the star of the show.

Short, fun and sweet theatre AU! I love when modern AUs give Riza positions of power; in this case she owns the theatre, so...BIG OL’ thumbs up here. Make sure to check out their other works too! All good stuff.

And the Band Plays On by sceptik (G, oneshot) Summary: Roy ran a hand through his hair, and, as he did about twice a day, wished he’d never been hired by Bradley and Son, all those years ago.

Lawyer AU. Subtlety. Intrigue. Themes of corruption. Also uhhh what’s that trope called, where there’s slow dancing but also tension from the subtext of “we must keep up this façade that we’re not close,” I love that shit!! This has it.

Another Military Party by ryfkah (T, oneshot) Summary: Shockingly, certain traitorous conspirators are finding this year's Central Officer's Ball a little tense.

Again, dancing + tension + good writing, I love it.

Take Aim and On the Line, or Five Times Roy Mustang Drunk Dialed Riza Hawkeye by glamophonic (T, oneshot)

I won’t go too in depth with these fics since you’ll most likely see these two on a lot of peoples’ fic recs and yeah it’s well deserved. Basically if you love Riza Hawkeye, you’ll probably like these! Solid characterization, good chemistry, and sweet character interactions.

You’ve Got Mail! by tootooroo (T, Multi-Chapter, Complete) Summary: Just like high school students who like to text during lessons, the teachers are pretty much the same—except that they do it by e-mail, using their PC, so that their supervisors think they are doing work errands. A little bit of Royai.

I’m usually not a fan of texting/email formats in fic but it works well here! The writer does a good job writing comedic character interactions in a really charming way and for the most part it feels very in character (or as much as it can be when transferring canon personalities to modern AUs). In short: fun universe, good writing!

Current WIPs

I was tagged by @rueitae which was super cool and very sweet but also...maybe a typo or something? because me, a content creator? hah! but nevertheless, this is motivating and I like it, so thank you!

1. bnha - todoroki's mom fic

I've recently been inspired by boku no hero academia, a lot more than by voltron if I'm being honest. i hadn't published anything in a very long time, but then a small, very contained idea for a short fic about midoriya inko came into my mind. it was tiny enough in scope and ambition that I could get it out in one night and publish it without much editing or worry. and that felt good! I got a lot of encouraging feedback on that, too.

so then, continuing on this "mothers" theme I guess, I thought of a similar idea for a story from todoroki's mom's perspective. like the inko piece, it won't really have a plot per se; it will follow her time in the hospital, centered I think around the sports festival and reconnecting with todoroki but relying heavily on flashbacks to tell the story of how she got there.

I don't know if this is in any way exciting to anyone else (particularly because I described it as "it doesn't have a plot or anything), but I'm really looking forward to it. the thing is that this is very much not a small, compact idea that I could churn out in a night, and I'm worried that idealizing the scope as something bigger will only make it harder for me to actually write it, and maybe I should stick to shorter stuff for now. but, in the words of the great hitoshi shinsō, you can't help what your heart longs for.

2. voltron - yuri on ice au

this is a piece I've been working on for a while and it's one I still really really want to finish!! I love it so much, but it suffers from the same issue as the above fic--my idea for it is just too large in scope, and I'm at the point where I'm realizing I don't quite know how to write something relatively long and keep it interesting. it's hard to push through that; I've been stalled at the equivalent of the end of yoi episode one because the exciting exposition stuff is over now, and now comes the hard work of actual character interaction and plot and that's...hard, for me, haha. but I promise this will get done!!

3. a bunch of yuri on ice oneshots

...from, like, a year ago lmao. I have hope that they might someday get finished though, because many of them are already more than halfway done!! I don't even remember all the ones I have, though, so that's not good...the ones I think I got the furthest on were a 5+1 (5 times yurio walked in on victor and yuuri making out, and one time victor and yuuri walked in on him making out with otabek), and a fic for a valentine's day exchange that I flunked out of because I couldn't finish it (but it was a high school prom au, with yuuri and victor as childhood friends who fell apart after victor moved away to train in professional skating, a reunion fic). so I guess those are the two I most want to finish!

4. voltron - klance college au with @iheartkpopstuff

I'm only including this because erin has been including me in the credits of her incredible college au comics series even though my contribution is literally just texting her my shitposty ideas that she somehow spins into comedic gold. since she is the entire driving force behind this and the one actually producing the content, it's actually getting done, which is awesome. go erin!! this really shouldn't count as a wip for me but I wanted to feel better about myself :(
