Chapter II

Summary: Bradley has always been the single friend of all of his friend groups. However he’s tired of everyone trying to set him up with random women until one day he asks you to be his plus one to his friends marriage so they stop bothering him about getting a girl. What happens when you both start liking this lie you’ve been telling people? Warnings: None at the moment; probably smut, alcohol consumption, a little bit of angst, cursing, ...

Chapter one

Bradley has always considered himself as a lonely wolf, he’s never liked a woman enough to make it official. Besides, being a Naval aviator never helped his issues. Since he was aways on deployment, he didn’t really had time to find a good woman and settle in. As a result, this last decade has been more complicated to him than ever, with practically all his friends getting married, people constantly asked him why he was still single and even tried to set him up with some random women.

That’s how he finds himself in this situation, trying to convince one of his teammates to accompany him to his friend’s wedding. He was so sick of people trying to set him up that he told Thomas that he was having a plus one so they would stop embarrassing him. The problem is that he was as single as ever and the only people he used to socialize with were his coworkers.

He had thought about asking Natasha to be his plus one, but he knew that things would be so awkward, so he didn’t even try talking to her. Then, he wasn’t as close to Halo to ask her something like this. But at that moment he thought about you: You were good friends; you were funny and very pretty too. He could make more than one jealous by attending it with you.

Nevertheless, you weren’t fond of the idea and asked him “Why wouldn’t you just bring a real date to this wedding?” and he answered like it was obvious “Because I told him months ago about the plus one, so if I bring someone, she’ll have to know me quite well”. “Just take Hangman then, he knows you very well, biblically and all”, she said with a smirk on. “Stop teasing Viper, if I take Jake, he’ll only brag about the fact that he gets more chicks than I do… not to say that they know I don’t like guys. Come on, please say yes” he says with puppy dog eyes. “What’s in that for me?” you ask rolling your eyes. “Literally anything you want, I’ll do whatever you tell me for a week!”, “A month” you say trying to negotiate. “Two weeks” he says, “Deal!”

And that is how you found yourself caught up in this situation. Bradley told you that it would be a whole week in Hawaii with the bachelor / bachelorette party Wednesday, the venue would be Saturday along with the brunch on Sunday, so you’d have to fly Sunday night and be back the next Sunday after brunch.

Accordingly, you packed some beach clothes, swimsuits, your wedding and brunch outfits and some clothes more revealing for the bachelorette party or if you had another night out.

When you were done getting ready to go, you received a message from Bradley:

Chicken🐔:  I’m outside, do you want some help with your bags?

Me: Nah I’m good, I only have my bag and a suitcase, and it isn’t that heavy. I’m already coming out.

Chicken🐔: Alright, no problem.

Once you leave your house you see his blue Bronco parked at your from porch while he gets out of the car to help you put your suitcase in the trunk. He’s wearing black sport shorts, a grey Nike hoodie and black vans along with his aviators while you are wearing low waisted grey sweatpants, a navy-blue baby tee, new balance shoes and your own sunglasses.

“Hey fake boyfriend, how are you doing baby?” you say mocking him. “Hello sweetheart, you love pretty today”  he says carrying on with you little game. “Oh, shut up” you say with a desperate smile while getting in the car.

“So, how is this whole thing going to work? I mean, have you made up some back stories yet?” You say while he drives the car to the airport. “No, I haven’t yet, thought it would be better to do it with since you’ll have to remember all that bullshit too” “Yeah, you’re not totally wrong. Let’s start with simple things like how we met.” “Maybe we won’t have to lie about this one, we can say that we met on base when we were deployed together…” “Half-truths, I like that” you say with a little grin.

By the time you got to the airport, you had an acceptable story to tell people about your fake couple so they wouldn’t find it suspicious.  As you waited for your flight departure, you and Bradley had lunch because you didn’t have time to eat at home, it was nothing much, just a sandwich because you knew you were going to eat during you flight too. Before boarding you made sure to take yourself a green juice and a beer for Rooster.

The flight was quite long to Hawaii, around six hours, so you made sure to  take a book you wanted to finish but didn’t have time because of. Rooster only had his phone and his headphones, so you only talked occasionally.

Halfway through the flight, the lights were turned off so you decided instead of continuing reading your book you’d just watch the episodes of Vampire Diaries you’ve downloaded on Netflix, and you asked Bradley if he would like to watch it with you. At first, he was really into the story but then you noticed that he was falling asleep, but you didn’t say anything because you both had a rough day at work. At some point, he laid his head on your shoulder and was caught by surprise, you didn’t say anything and let him rest there.

About an hour later, the flight attendants started giving passengers their meals and drinks until one came to you and asked, “Excuse me ma’am, would your boyfriend like to eat something?” “Oh no, he’s not my… um actually yes, you can just give it to me, and I’ll wake him up” you answered with a smile, trying to get used to call Bradley your boyfriend. “Alright, what will you take then? We have fish, chicken, and a vegan option if you’d like” she said a little lower, to not wake him up. “One fish and one chicken please” “no problem, would you like to drink something?” “Two cokes please”.

“There you go” she said, making everything fit on your table while trying to not bump into him “Thank you!” You said when she started moving to another passenger and she just smiled at you.

“Roos… wake up, dinner’s here” you called as calmly as possible “what? What happened?” he asked, still half asleep. “The food’s here and it would be a shame to eat it cold. I took you a coke too” “Oh, thanks. You didn’t have to” “Don’t worry about it” you smiled; he looked like a puppy sleepy. “How long did I sleep?” He asked taking his food to his own table “Not very long, an hour maybe.” “Thanks for letting me sleep. What happened between Elena and Damon while I was asleep?” He said a bit embarrassed about the situation. “My my, Bradley Bradshaw was actually enjoying Vampire Diaries, who would have thought” you exclaimed. “Hey, it’s not my thing but it’s not either” he argues. “Whatever helps you sleep at night Bradshaw” you laughed while eating your meal.

When you arrived in Hawaii it was already one in the morning so Rooster decided it was better to take a cab to the hotel and explained that he would rent a car the next day. You didn’t argue with him, you were exhausted and only wanted to take a shower and sleep. As soon as you got to the hotel his friends were at Bradley told you could sit, he would take care of everything, and you thanked him while he walked away to the reception desk to check in. “Hello, how can I help you?” The receptionist questioned “Hi, I have a reservation under Bradshaw” “Oh yes, let me just check very quickly” she answered while typing on the keyboard. “Here you are! So, it was a suite with a Queen bed for a week. Is that right?” “There must be a problem, I reserved a room with two beds” “I’m apologize for our, there must have been a misunderstanding during the call. Unfortunately, all the rooms with double bedding have been booked. Would like me to add another single bed bedroom?” “Can you just wait a second? I must talk with my friend about it” “Yes, no problem. Sorry again” she him an upside-down smile while he returned next to you. “Hey, what’s up? Somethings wrong? “Yeah um, there’s a problem with the reservation? For the love of God Rooster, don’t tell me you booked in the wrong!” You started to panic because of how exhausted you are. “No, no, it’s nothing like that. They’ve accidentally booked our room with one single bed, so I wanted to ask you what you’d like to do. Maybe I can take another bedroom for you. I’ll let you take the room tonight and I’ll just find something for me”. “Oh, come on Rooster, you know how much it costs for a last-minute booking? Probably twice the price it would normally… I mean, we’re not kids anymore, I have no problem in sharing a room with you.” You say, relieved, that it’s not a big issue. “So, I just keep the reservation as it is?” “Yeah, plus it would be weird to your friends if we were a couple and didn’t sleep in the same hotel, right?” “Yes, you’re right! I’ll be right back then”.

You see Bradley talking to the receptionist but you’re too tired to even pay attention to what they’re saying so you just wait until he comes back to you and take your suitcase, leading you to the elevator. When you get to the room, you’re the first one to go inside and it is simply enormous. It has the classic Hawaiian aesthetic, but you think it looks so good. When you first enter, there is a sort of living room with a small kitchen in it, a double door that leads to the bedroom and a simple one to the bathroom.

“Hey, look, there’s a couch in here. I’ll leave you the bed and I can sleep here” he says, looking at the small couch in the living room “You’re not serious, are you? Have you seen your size and this couch? You’d never be comfortable in that. I’ll take it”. “I’m not going to let you sleep on the couch, I’m already thankful that you accepted coming with me, you deserve at least to have the bed…” “I’m tired and I don’t have time for this so let’s just share the bed, ok?” You say, opening your suitcase to take your pajamas. “Are you sure?”  “Absolutely!” You reply entering the bathroom to take a shower. “Sharing it is then” he mutters while sitting on the bed.

Valentine’s Day with GOT/HOTD babes modern

Dinner at the restaurant you had your first date at. He’s a sentimental man, like his daddy. Buys you an outfit and takes you out on the town, a walk after dinner. Then takes you back home and you have a nice night in the backyard under blankets looking at the stars. You definitely know how much you are loved with Robb

Theon: A romantic but loves an excuse to buy you stuff without you telling him he’s wasting his money. Wakes you up by kissing you all over and whispering sweet words of love in your ear. Definitely messes with you the whole day, making out in bed, on the counter, where ever he can get you. Gets you a pretty necklace, a nice outfit, a pink lingerie set from Victoria’s Secret (reference to bels cam girl series 💀💖) a good ole fashioned wine and dine with Theon

Jon: Loves Valentine’s Day he gets to show you how much he loves you on that day and your birthday. Jon makes you breakfast in bed, makes the bed, draws you a bath with nice soaps, bath bombs, roses in the water, candles around the tube. Still gets nervous about asking you if he can join the tub. Of course you let him, he lets you lay your back on his chest. Washes your hair and body while kissing you and laughing enjoying the time with you. Would be a guy to propose on that day. I don’t think he would make it a restaurant proposal, more of a scenic view type. Where you two go on walks and relax in nature, he had Sansa and Arya make it all cute with candles, fair lights and pictures.

Jaime: Jaime loves spoiling you no matter what day it is, but is like Robb two days out of the year he goes all out. Wakes you up being under the covers messing with you. Afterwards, he carries you to the kitchen for a breakfast. Tells you to get ready because he’s taking you out for the whole day. Takes you to your favorite places, a little shopping, a cute lunch date at your favorite restaurant, flowers. Then dinner he takes you to a fancy restaurant, gifts you a necklace that has his name. Later on you notice the wait staff is watching you guys. Soon as you ask him what’s going on, you seen him on one knee and a velvet box in hand. He takes you to the place he first said he loved you and tells you how much you mean to him and how he still loves you.

Aegon: Aegon is definitely someone that shows his money off even to you. You love him for him not his family’s money, but that’s his love language. A huge shopping spree, a fancy lunch and dinner, sends you money to get your nails done but request you to get something he wants for the special day.

Aemond: A secret hopeless romantic for his partner all year but valentines is one day he shows it off. Him and Jaime would do the same thing, take you shopping, a nice lunch just the whole day is about you and just you. Aemond would hand write you a poem and would mean every word. Definitely would think about proposing to you that night but wants it to be the perfect moment.

Cregan: My boy is a simp like Robb! Plans this day out after your birthday so it’s a ways a bit from that he plans it out big. Takes you somewhere nice and warm like Hawaii, Costa Rica, Bahamas the week before. A romantic getaway for you two, would definitely propose on the beach at sunset. A nice dinner that’s outside a private beach. tells you how much he loves you and wants to be with you forever. Cregan and Gomez Addams give the same vibes for their partners. Starks are simps in my book

What was Jensen’s experience voicing the Red Hood? And when will we see him on the big screen?

That was his first big voiceover gig and it was great because then it got him the opportunity to play another character in that world so he loved that experience and he’s continuing to do stuff like that just as Batman instead. And he’s ready and waiting for somebody to give him an opportuniy like that on the big screen. x

What is their favorite food that they ate on scene? And what is their favorite food to eat behind the scenes?

 Jensen says it would be so much easier to name the least favorite. 

Jared says they were literally watching outtakes in the green room before this panel but in the s15 ep with Mrs. Butters the scene where Sam gets cake for his birthday, Jared was training for a marathon and he was hungry all the time so there was like 3-4 leftover cakes and he took every one of them home, and the scene with Dean and Amara in the bakery there was a bunch of real stuff in the case and he was like 'I’m taking that home' about a bunch of different things so he would take food home all the time. 

Jensen asks Jared if there was anything from catering or craft services he would almost eat daily and I love it because before Jared can fully give his answer Jensen is saying the katsu chicken, and because it was Jared’s favorite they all had to have it once a week too. 

Jensen mentions a trail mix craft services had that he would eat so much off, and then one day Maisie went up to him as he was having a handful and asked him if he knew what the raisins, peanuts, and almonds were and he was confused until she told him they’re just obstacles keeping him from the m&ms.

So that was something off camera he would eat almost every day, on camera Dean ate a lot of crap. The worst was the turducken, he was forced to eat so much of it, it got to the point where he would eat- he would take a bite and because it was so in character would take a bite at the beginning of a scene, now they know that’s a rookie mistake, you take a bite at the end of a scene so when they yell cut you can spit it out into the spit bucket and you don’t have to swallow but his dumbass was constantly eating throughout a whole scene so he got really good at taking a bite in the first take and then shadow biting in the second. Jared says Jensen would even do this when the coverage was on him so the cameras would be over his shoulder and yet he'd see Jensen grab the food and eat but he'd just be fake eating. His favorite to eat were the taquitos they were so good but they never got to have them again because they were store-bought and the grocery store that sold them went out of business. x

What is an item on their bucket list?

Jensen doesn’t have a bucket list. Jared has one item and it’s to make Jensen create a bucket list. x

Would Jensen ever consider doing the Masked Singer?

No. He’s only seen a few of those early on and he’s seen promotions of it, and the costumes look very uncomfortable, and the singing has to be prerecorded so you’re just dancing around in a furby outfit. Jared asks him if he would do it? And Jensen replies that not on TV.  x

When the SPN reboot comes around, is Jesus going to be a part of it?

Jensen points towards Jared and says he already is, and then gives him a little pat on the knee and it quickly goes from cute to hilarious because Jared stretches his arms out like on the cross 😂

Jensen doesn’t know but maybe, hopefully, we’ll see. x

What is one of their most memorable times where they tried to impress their wife?

Jared replies that he likes to lead with his worst qualities so he thinks the majority of the first year and a half of his relationship with G was probably all failures because he was like 'listen i'm gonna fart, and not shower, and not take good care of myself but if you can deal with that the rest is actually decent'.

......and they say romance is dead.

Jensen says he’s been trying to impress D since he met her and he doesn't think he's done it yet but he desires to keep trying. x

Are they still interested in re-doing Lonesome Dove together? Or is there some other project they want to star in together?

Jared would love to he thinks it'd be an awesome idea. And actually, the key makeup artist on Walker won an Emmy award for makeup on Lonesome Dove. Hell yes, he’d love to.

Jensen says it would be fun to do something as brothers again whether it’s Lonesome Dove or SPN. x

Was there something they were looking forward to watching or something that surprised them that they watched while they weren't working?

Jensen didn’t watch anything, three kids under the age of ten is consuming. 

Jared watched Top Gun Maverick which was awesome. Beyond that Coco Melon.

Jensen says he's seen so much Bluey, he almost had to go as Bandit for Halloween until his daughter decided she didn't wanna go as Bluey she wanted to go as Black Cat. He does say that D watches Gilded Age and he proxy has watched it and gotten into it but it’s a soap opera. He also watched all of Gen V cause he was curious to see how bad he looked so he watched his scene but ended up watching the whole episode then wanted to see everything so he went back and started from the beginning, and called Kripke to ask how many hit shows one man needs. x

What is something they took for granted while they were on SPN and didn't realize?

Jared's honest answer is he thinks he took for granted the city of Vancouver. He and Jensen did a really good job in the last 2 or 3 years off if they had a late call or night shooting at 6pm they’d sneak off to ski or go for a bike ride or something but often they were just working and he didn't have an excuse G, D and the kids weren’t in Van most of the time they were at home watching them taking them to school and stuff but he doesn’t think he took enough advantage he thinks he kept waiting for life to happen to him instead of realizing it was already happening.

Jensen says the set atmosphere. It really became what it was organically, it naturally established a really fun, welcoming culture on set that as guest stars would go on they would comment on it and say it was the best place to work. And they’d think that’s cool never really thinking it was by design but now they both know how precious that is and understand that in order to achieve that you have to put in a certain kind of work, they were doing that work unknowingly by being themselves and treating everybody as equal. He takes that knowledge now when stepping into other sets and he's very hyper-aware of the culture of those sets and he does everything he can to make it a welcoming, fun, entertaining space to create. x

Do they remember their first concert experience and who was it they went to see?

Jared doesn’t remember which one was first but in San Antonio, he saw En Vogue open for Vanilla Ice. And, his mom took him to the TMNT concert as a Christmas gift.

Jensen’s first concert was with his mom and his aunt, it was when he was 6. The Michael Jackson thriller tour and he was terrified because of the lights and the costumes and the roar of the crowd he had never been in a crowd that big and then he came out and blew the roof of the place. And then first concert on his own was Van Halen. x

How do they prevent burnout?

Jared says they burn out all the time and then they have moments like this with the fans where they remember why they like to stay lit. Jokes aside he thinks they do burnout, he knows he does, not a lot but he gets exhausted and he thinks Sam and Dean did as well he thinks all the characters that they’ve played have then you kind of remember why you keep fighting, why you get back up, you get a little help from your friends and you kind of fake it till you make it and then you're back on track. It gets hard for sure but ideally, the good they've been a part of and the families they’ve built and been invited to be a part of certainly give him energy, and motive him.

Jensen says they also started doing this at an early age where they conditioned themselves to work this hard, the strike and the pandemic were pretty bad for them they don’t know how to turn it off or shut it down because they’ve been doing for so long it’s how they’re wired so it’s like Jared says yeah, they burned out on occasion but also know that this is what fuels them so it's easy to recover and jump back in the pool when they love it and have been doing it this long. And they have people that inspire them and give them energy to keep going through the moments of exhaustion. x

What was their very first acting role in school?

For Jensen, he did drama class cause he had to pick an art elective and his first big High School production was Cyrano de Bergerac. He played Christian the character that needs Cyrano to speak for him to win over Roxane. But he was maybe a junior or freshman then in his senior year he did West Side Story.

Jared’s first legit role he can recall doing was Mercutio, he doesn't think anybody would sit through it, there was also a play called Candida but he doesn’t really recall the first one. It was all stuff that high schoolers don’t really grasp yet but it got him curious. x

Do they have a passion or a topic that they could confidently teach a one-hour class on?

No. But Jensen does think they could both fill 60min on set etiquette. Not just how to act or the art of filmmaking but what the different departments do and why and the craft that goes into a day on set. x

Do they have any plans for their canceled shows?

Jared says it was obviously not their choice for the shows to not come back and they’re gonna find out what their industry is gonna look like in the next couple of months. He'd love for them to come back but he doesn’t know what the world is gonna look in terms of content like 3yrs from now.

Jensen says the shows weren’t on air for long enough for them to generate a worth for them to be taken and shopped around it’s an unfortunate by-product of the industry, people move pretty fast and when things get shelved or cleared off the table everybody is moving on so it’s hard to resurrect things that there's not a want or need for it to be brought back. That unfortunately the shows didn't have enough time to root themselves and find their legs, and it was really unfortunate timing because both shows were great. But their industry is in such a transition period right now crazy things are happening all over the place. He and Jared were very fortunate to do what they did when they did because SPN survived some rough waters but he doesn't know if the show would have made it through something like this, and Jared takes it one step further and says if last year had been the first season of SPN they'd have gotten axed. x

What's their most memorable photo op?

Jared says they've had some funny requests at times.

Jensen says there was a line they used to have, he doesn't know where it went or when it was removed but he does remember at one point MC looked at him and went 'it's come to this'.

Jared shares a story about a photo op they had with Krista, and she wanted to do a funny mid-action pose like a bodyguard diving and she could have just posed but instead, she did a full-on dive across several times.

Jensen says that a funny thing though that he'll get asked to do rock, paper, scissors a lot and it's not a video just pick one of the three, he's always gonna do scissors because that's what Dean did and it's what he's married to at this point so if you want to beat him do rock, and if you wanna let him win do paper, or just don't do anything, you don't have to it's a picture. x

You couldn’t believe this was happening. It all felt like a dream. Ever since you arrived at Mav’s hangar until now, it’s all felt like a dream. The whole way here you pinched yourself numerous times to make sure you weren’t dreaming. You were going to marry your best friend, he got a plane for you, and he brought you to Hawaii, somewhere you always dreamed of coming. You wondered how was this your life. 

Bradley gave you a kiss and you snapped back into reality. You looked up at him as he held onto you. You smiled with tears in your eyes, “Is this real, Bradley? Or am I dreaming?”

He smiled widely at you and wiped the tear that rolled down your cheek, “This is as real as it gets, sweetheart.” He grabbed your hands and ran you off the tarmac. He held your hand as you both sprinted through the airport. He kept looking back at you as he dragged you along. You were both laughing together.

“Bradley! Slow down!” You laughed as he continued to run.

“No time, sweetheart! We have so much to see!” He kissed your hand as you both ran.

 He stopped at the baggage claim and looked around. He was trying to catch his breath. He had a smile plastered on his face. He looked at you and kissed you hard, “Look, baby.” He chuckled and pointed. 

A chauffeur waited for you and Bradley in front of the airport. He stood there with Leis and a sign that read “The Bradshaws.” Your mouth was in a gaped smile as you tried to catch your breath. “I can definitely get used to that.”

Bradley pulled you under his wing and held you close as you approached the driver. The driver treated you and placed the Leis around your neck. He brought you out to the car. He drove you through O’ahu. You took in all the beautiful sights. Your body was overwhelmed with happiness. You rolled down your window. The warm air hit your skin and you gasped. The air was fresh, it smelt like ocean salt. This wasn’t the same smell from San Diego’s ocean salt, this one was different. It made you feel so relaxed and calm. You could smell the ocean, the sand, and all the different flowers. You couldn’t stop smiling. 

Bradley moved closer to you, threw his arm around you, and looked out the window with you. “Beautiful, just like you baby.” He kissed your temple. “Take it all in.” He took a deep breath, “You deserve it all and more, sweetheart.” 

The two of you pulled up to the hotel. It was an open floor layout. There were no walls or windows to block the outside views. It was all open so you could see the beauty around you. Bradley checked the two of you in. He brought you up to the room it was on the top floor. He placed the key to the door to unlock it. Right before he opened the door he picked you up bridal style and kissed your lips. “Paradise awaits you, Mrs. Bradshaw.” 

You giggled, “Not quite yet, Mr. Bradshaw. I am still your fiancée.” You smiled.

He pushed the door open and your jaw dropped. He carried you in and set you down. You stepped forward and took it all in, “Oh my gosh, Bradley.” It was breathtaking. 

The room was two stories. It had a spiral staircase to the second floor. Two of the walls were filled with floor-to-ground windows to show the outside view. It was beautiful. You had your own corner view of the ocean and the town. You could see everything from where you stood. You could hear soft and muffled Hawaiian music being played outside. Bradley grabbed your hand and laughed.

“Come, babe, it gets better.” 

He brought you to the sliding door. He opened it and he brought you out onto the wrap-around balcony of your corner room. Your jaw dropped, “Oh. My. God.” You laughed in between each word. “This is fucking crazy, Bradley!” You gasped sharply. 

He brought you over to the railing and held you from behind. The breeze was hitting you perfectly. It was humid, but the air felt so good against your skin. The music was now a little louder. It was echoing up to you. It sounded so soothing. You closed your eyes and took everything in. You felt on top of the world. 

Bradley kissed your ear. “Look down there, baby.” He pointed to an area down below you.

You looked down and saw a stage. There was a band set up down there. They were playing and singing the music you could hear. You turned quickly to Bradley, “Can we please go down there to listen?” You flashed him some of your best puppy dog eyes.

Bradley’s eyes went wide, “I think yours might be better than mine. With those, you’ll always have me saying yes, sweetheart.” He smiled and kissed your forehead. “Of course, we can baby. Let the adventure begin.” 

Bradley brought you to the bedroom and on the bed laid two outfits. You looked at him confused. “How did these get here? We don’t have any luggage?”

“Don’t worry about it. I have all of that covered.” He kissed your head, “Get changed, beautiful.” 

You both cleaned up in the bathroom and then went to change. You picked up the dress that was left for you. It was a tropical print cami dress with buttons down the torso. It had a slit starting at mid-thigh. It was super flowy and cute. It was covered with exotic pink orchids and palm leaves. You slipped into it and gave yourself a twirl in the full-body mirror. Bradley emerged from the bathroom with a shirt to match your dress and some cargo shorts. His shirt was unbuttoned and his abs were on full display. He stood in front of the mirror fixing his hair. He looked back over to you and his jaw dropped.

“Holy crap, baby. You look so good in that dress.” 

You walked up to him slowly and kissed his lips sweetly. You started to button his shirt for him. “You sure know how to pick an outfit, Brad.”

Bradley laughed and shook his head, “Please, baby. You are talking to the man of a thousand Hawaiian print shirts. Of course, I know what I am doing here.” He winked at you. 

You finished buttoning his shirt and gave his chest a pat. He held your hand and brought you over to the bed. He sat you down and got on his knees. He pulled a box from under the bed and showed you. “I think you’re going to like these even more.” He opened the box and pulled out some cute espadrille open-toed flat-formed sandals. The straps were white and they matched your outfit. He slipped them onto your feet and buckled the ankle straps.

“Thank you, Bradley. They are so cute. You shouldn’t have done all this.” You had tears in your eyes.

“You’re welcome, beautiful. You deserve everything and more. I want to spoil you, forever.” He kissed your foot and set it on the floor. He pulled out another box for himself. He pulled out some white boat shoes for himself. He slipped them on and stood up. “Ready?”

You nodded and took his hand. You went to the elevator and made your way back downstairs. You walked through the hotel and ended up out where the stage and the band were. It was right next to the beach. Bradley brought you over to the band. There was a crowd of people listening to them. 

They started to play and sing E O Mai by Keali’i Reichel, Bradley spun you around and brought you in close to him. He held your hand in his and his other rested on your lower back, you rested your free hand on his chest. He put his forehead to yours and slow danced with you to the song. It felt like it was just you and him, without a care in the world. You two swayed slowly to the beat as everyone watched on. You could hear a couple of people cooing about yours and Bradley’s cuteness. 

After listening and dancing to a couple of songs you and Bradley took a stroll around the beach. You took off your sandals and Bradley took off his shoes. He held your hand and used his free hand to hold both yours and his shoes. You clung onto his arm and laid on his bicep. 

“How are you enjoying yourself, so far?” 

You looked up at him and smiled, “We have only been here for a couple of hours and I never want to leave.” You smiled at him in a daze.

“I am so happy you are enjoying yourself, sweetheart. You deserved a little vacay after a stressful work week.” He kissed the top of your head. “Is there anything you want to do? Like specifically?”

You shook your head, “I really don’t know what to do. I’m for doing anything. Having an open agenda. As long as I am with you, anything is good with me.” You kissed his bicep. 

You could hear a smile crack across his face. “I love the sound of that, baby girl.”

You continued your walk along the beach. You eventually ended up at a little Tiki Lounge with food and drinks. You two sat down and ordered a couple of drinks and lunch. The whole time all Bradley could do was look over at you and smile. Throughout the whole lunch, he kept reaching over the table and asking for your hand. Every time you would give him your hand he was pulling it to his lips and kissing your ring. All you could do was blush.

“God, I love you so much, y/n. I am truly the luckiest man on earth right now.”

You blushed even more, “Bradley stop. Please.” You giggled sweetly.

He sipped his drink and set to down. He cleared his throat and shook his head, “Baby, I am serious.” He leaned over the table, “I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I am sure every person in here thinks you are breathtaking.”

You looked around and shook your head laughing. “Baby. I am serious. Stop!” He grabbed your hands. “Like that guy is totally checking you out despite me being here with you and holding your hands right now. But I am the lucky man that gets to take you home.” He kissed your hands. “I am so damn lucky, sweetheart.” 

You took your hands from him and bit your lip. You raised your brows and looked over your shoulder at the guy staring you down. You looked over to Bradley and wiggled your brows, “You want some free drinks, Bradshaw?” You narrowed your eyes at him and gave him a devious smile. 

“What do you mean, sweetheart?” He laughed.

You switched your ring from your left hand to your right hand. 

“Baby, what the hell are you doing?” He started to laugh. “Noooo, you wouldn’t dare.” He narrowed his eyes at you.

“Do you want to bet, Bradshaw? This will be just like college.” You winked at him and stood up. You fixed your dress and walked over to the bar.

“I want a Blue Hawaiian, sweetheart.” He laughed.

You flashed him a thumbs-up and walked to the bar.

Bradley leaned back in his chair and laughed, “God, I fucking love her.” He watched the show unfold before him.

You approached the guy at the bar. “Hey.” You flashed the guy a smile.

He straightened his back out and smiled at you, “Hey.” He looked over at Bradley. “Is that your friend?”

You looked over at Bradley and looked back to the guy, “Yes it is.”

“Cute you guys are matching. What is it? A besties trip?” 

You nodded, “Yea, you could say that.” You giggled.

He pointed to the girl sitting next to him, “My sister here thinks he’s cute and I think you’re cute. We should all go out later.” He waved over to the bartender. “Can I have two…” He looked at you and smiled.

“Blue Hawaiians.” You winked at him.

He checked you out and nodded, “Blue Hawaiians, please.” 

The bartender made your drinks and he slipped you a business card with his name and number on it. He took your hand in his and shook it. 

You shook his hand awkwardly and nodded, “It was nice meeting you…” you looked at his business card, “Chad.”

He smiled, “You as well…”

“Y/n.” You smiled.

He nodded and winked at you, “Y/n.”

You picked up the drinks and went back over to Bradley. You started to laugh hard as you placed the drinks down. You sat back and took a deep breath. Bradley grabbed one of the drinks and started to drink it.

He smiled as he was drinking, “What, sweetheart?”

You covered your eyes, “We have a date later on with them. His sister thought you were cute.” You started to laugh.

Bradley slouched and his eyes went wide, “What the fuck did you do, baby!?” He started to blink at you.

You slid Bradley the business card. He looked at it confused. “A business card?” 

“No, Brad. Look.” You pointed to the card.

“Chad. A car salesman.” He stared at it for a minute before bursting into laughter. “Are you fucking kidding me!” He started to laugh even louder, “Who the fuck hands out business cards to give someone their number.” He wiped the tears from his eyes, “Fucking CHAD. A CAR SALESMAN. How much more of a douche can you be?” He was laughing even harder as he flew back against the seat covering his face. He started to turn red.

You started to laugh with him, you were crying. “Bradley, stop!” You leaned over and started to play slap his arms. 

He moved side to side trying to avoid your slaps. He looked up and stopped laughing. He straightened himself out. Chad and his sister were walking over to you. You sat quietly smirking at Bradley.

“We will see you guys later. Call me, y/n.” He winked at you and gave Bradley a nod.

Bradley raise his brows and nodded back at him. The sister blew Bradley a flirtatious kiss and waved bye to him. Bradley smiled awkwardly and waved back. Bradley looked back at you and rolled his eyes. You mocked the girl's flirtatious kiss and wave. Bradley grabbed your hand and looked back at them as they walked out. 

“Baby, stop that they’re still in here!” He laughed. He grabbed the business card and ripped it, “There is no way we are spending our vacation with them.” He laughed.

You switched your ring back onto your left hand. He grabbed your hand and kissed it. “Right where it belongs.” He winked at you.

You both finished your food and free drinks. You and Bradley went back to walk on the beach. You ran into a couple of shops as you walked. You went in and bought Leia a couple of shirts, necklaces, and bracelets. You and Bradley just roamed around the area taking in all of its beauty. There was always someone singing and playing live music as you both made your way around town. It was so nice and peaceful.

After doing some touristy kind of things, Bradley looked at his watch. “Oh baby, we’ve got to get a move on!” He grabbed your hand and flagged for a taxi.

“What do you mean?”

A taxi stopped and he pulled you in, “You’ll see sweetheart.”

The taxi pulled up to a big walkway full of families. Bradley paid the driver and helped you out of the car. 

“Where are we?” You looked around.

He kissed you and brought you to the front of the line. You were greeted by some hula dancers.

“Oh, Mr. Bradsahw! We’ve been expecting you! It’s so good to see you again!” They gave you both more Leis and bracelets.

I looked at Bradley confused as we walked in. “They know you here?”

He nodded, “My dad used to always take Mav, my mom, and me here when he was still alive. After he passed and I got older, Mav and I tried to take my mom at least every year. Hawaii makes her happy.” 

You smiled and nodded at him. He offered you his arm and you looped yours in with his. He walked you both over to your seats. It was right in front of the stage. They served you food and drinks. You looked up to the stage and you gasped. You turned to Bradley.

“Oh my gosh, is this the Luau you used to tell me about in college?” Your jaw was hanging. “The one that’s hard to get into?”

He leaned over and kissed your cheek, “It is, baby. I already know you’re going to ask how. So don’t. Don’t worry about it. Just enjoy yourself, babydoll.” 

The Luau started. They demonstrated the dance of every island. It was beautiful to watch. In each set, their clothing changed. The colors were so vibrant and the dances were so elegant. There was a point in the show where they pulled volunteers. They came and took Bradley. He was up on stage. They put a grass skirt on him and showed him how to shake his hips. You giggled as you watched your fiancé shake his hips with confidence. He pointed to you and blew you a kiss. He turned around and shook his hips like they didn’t lie. You cupped your mouth and cheered for him. After he finished his dance he made his way back down to you laughing, slightly sweaty.

“Do you think Shakira would have approved, babe?” He plopped down next to you and threw his arm around you before taking a swig of his guava juice.

“I think you outdid, Shakira.” He raised his eyebrows at you and raised his glass to you. You grabbed yours and toasted with him before taking a sip.

After the show, Bradley brought you back to the photo area. You got your photo professionally taken and printed out. You and Bradley were standing with your backs to the view of the ocean’s waves crashing behind you and palm trees. It was so cute. Bradley also took a selfie of the two of you. He had his arm wrapped around your shoulders and he held the phone up. You laid on his chest and had your ring on full display while your hand rested on his chest. He snapped the picture and sent it to the group chat with the dagger squad. They all replied back quickly.

Bradley laughed at the messages and put his phone away. The two of you got a cab back to the hotel. When you got there, Bradley opened the door and the room was lit up by candles. There were cute little white artificial plumerias scattered all around the room. Bradley stood in front of you and placed his forehead on yours. He rubbed his hands up and down your arms. He brought one of his hands up to your cheek and raised your head so your eyes met with his. He analyzed your face as he stroked his thumb over your cheek. His other hand made it down to your hand and he interlocked your fingers with his. No words were exchanged, just deep eye contact. He licked his lips and took a deep breath.

“I love you with all my heart, y/n. I will love you until the end of time and beyond. I promise.” 

He slowly brought his lips to yours but when they met they came crashing in. You inhaled sharply as your lips met his. You felt like you were floating away on a cloud. Bradley gently massaged your cheek as he sweetly deepened the kiss. You moved your hand from his, you ran your hands up his sides and around his back. He took a step closer to you without moving his lips from yours. With his other hand, he lightly ran it from the back of your head all the way down to the small of your back. His breath quickened. You took little gasps of air in between each kiss. His tongue with yours felt smooth against yours. His lips were so soft and wet from your exchange of saliva. His once tense body felt like putty in your hands. Your heartbeats were in sync with one another. Everything just felt so right with him. He was making all your wildest dreams come true within a matter of 48 hours. 

He pulled away from the kiss catching his breath. He opened his eyes and smiled at you sweetly. I’ll run a bath for us, baby girl.” He placed a soft long kiss on your forehead before retreating up the stairs to the master bathroom. 

You stood there for a minute and bit your lips. You looked around smiling at how the room was decorated. You felt like you were on cloud nine. You brought your hands up to your neck and rested them on either side, “This cannot be real… How is this all real?” You chuckled to yourself. You took a deep breath.

“Sweetheart.”

You looked up to Bradley and he gestured with his hand for you to come upstairs. You went up the stairs and he grabbed your hand. He led you into the bathroom. He was filling up the jacuzzi tub for you both. There were candles and flowers all over the bathroom. Next to the tub were some robes, a card, some champagne glasses, and champagne. You picked up the card and read it aloud.

“Congratulations on your engagement. We love you both so much. Enjoy! Aloha! Love the squad.” You smiled and shook your head. “I thought they didn't know about all of this?”

Bradley came behind you, moved your hair aside, and kissed your shoulder. “They didn’t, but I guess you and I will just keep getting little surprises.” You placed the card down and picked up the champagne. You handed it to Bradley, “Will you do the honors, my future husband?” You looked at him sweetly through your lashes.

He gently grabbed the bottle from you and kissed your nose. “It would be my pleasure, my future wife.” He popped the bottle open and the foam started to run and leak to the floor. He grabbed the glasses and filled them. He set the bottle and full glasses back down by the tub. 

“As much as I love this dress on you, I love to watch it go.” He smirked at you. He helped you out of your dress. He exaggerated his movements as he removed your dress. His touch lingered over each part of your body and his light touches made your skin feel like it was on fire. 

You helped him out of his clothes kissing every inch of him as the clothes fell off. His breath was sharp every time your lips made contact with his already hot skin. The two of you stood there naked as the tub finished filling. He picked you up bridal style and carried you into the tub. He set you down and sat down. He started the jets. He groaned and his eyes rolled back as he was being massaged by the jets.

“This feels so good, sweetheart. Come and sit with me.” He put his arms out for you.

You sat in between his legs and laid your head back against his chest. You inhaled and exhaled deeply. Your body became so relaxed and your heart rate so slow, it was as if you didn’t have one. Bradley wrapped an arm around your waist and handed you a glass of champagne. 

“To being in paradise with the love of my life.” Bradley kissed the back of your head and you two clicked glasses. 

“Every day is paradise when I am with you, Bradley. I love you.” 

“I agree to that, sweetheart. I love you, y/n.” 

You two took a sip and placed the glasses back down on the side of the tub. You melted into Bradley’s embrace and relaxed with him to end your long day of adventuring.

I feel like i should add like a timeline to this cause its kinda everywhere and im ignoring some of the canon stuff mav did between 86 and tgm, in my head he became a test pilot in like 2006? and thats basically the only thing he does so he can be with slider more and thats around the time ice stopped flying so also when slider became an airline pilot. idk when slider retired or if he even did yet but after mav flew the tgm mission he retired but he does still fly his p51 in airshows and if the navy needs him hes still a civilian test pilot

-They workout together and have a joint playlist (they share headphones idk how it works), mav wears little shorts and big shirts or tank tops and slider wears sweats and tank tops usually. They did matching outfits once and every time they looked at each other they started giggling so they never did it again (on purpose that is)

-mav loves being so small compared to slider, when they hug it makes him feel protected

-after goose died mav didnt really have anyone to talk to (this is before him and slider got together), he couldnt go to carole, he did go to ice a few times but slider became his person, mav grew a lot closer to both of them and they helped him a lot the first few weeks after he lost goose, they were friends for a year or more after this happened and eventually they got together

-mav buys slider flowers, tulips are his favourite

He was best friends with ice growing up and decided to give up his dream of joining the air force so he could be with ice in the navy, he never told ice this, ice knew slider would've preferred the air force and wanted to be a pilot but he didn't know it was his dream. -slider leaves the navy once ice stops flying and he becomes an airline pilot, he doesnt work a whole lot so he can spend more time with mav but he loves being an airline pilot

-they have a HUGE bed, it was one thing they both agreed on when picking furniture for their house, they needed a big bed because sliders huge and mav sleeps like a starfish half the time

-theyre both morning people but mav is more of a morning person, slider likes to sleep in a little while mav makes him breakfast, after they eat they’ll sit on the deck in the backyard and drink their coffee

-slider took a bartending class and he makes fruity cocktails for mav, every time they go out mav gets a beer or a jack n coke because hes shy, he does love both of those but he also likes “girly drinks” on occasion. Sliders favourite drink is a margarita

-they love going on a hikes together, slider brings a bunch of snacks for mav because mav doesnt like carrying a bag

-idk where their house is but its in a medium sized town/small city? close to mavs hangar, its a medium sized house with a big yard and an in ground pool (that was the one thing slider wanted when they decided to buy a house together), the vibe of their house is similar to their wedding, a lot of colours and they have a lot of plants and flowers. its a two bedroom two bathroom house, the second floor is where the guest bedroom and bathroom are as well as a storage room, their bedroom and bathroom, kitchen and living room are all on the first floor. they have pictures everywhere and looking around their house you can tell exactly what kind of people they are and what they like, it feels like a home.

-slider comes to the hangar a lot and he’ll just hang out on the couch while mav does his thing, sometimes he helps out or works on his truck but he prefers to just watch mav

-slider picks mav up SO MUCH, he’ll throw him over his shoulder, carry him bridal style, give him a piggyback ride

-they build model planes together, they’re both loser plane nerds (so am i, im allowed to say that). Mav gets slider an a10 model for his birthday every year and watches him put it together. they keep their model planes all over the house, some of them are hanging from the ceiling too (slider hung them because mav almost fell off the ladder)

-they have so many little jokes with each other, when they’re out in public they’ll see something that relates to one of them and point it out to each other and they’ll both start laughing and get weird looks from everyone around them

-when slider becomes an airline pilot mav bakes him cookies to take with him, slider would hand them out to the crew on the plane and thats how he want from “big scary navy guy” to an absolute sweetheart, everyone loves him and compliment mavs baking

(im riled up about this rn so im adding my headcanons for their body types too)

when slider was in the navy he was bigger than most of the people there, he had a lot of muscle and not a lot of fat, when he left he did keep up his workout routine and he started eating better because he had more access to food, hes still mostly muscle now but he has a healthy layer of fat on him too.

When mav was younger his mom was a great cook, he loved to help her in the kitchen but after his dad died she just stopped, she barley ate, she did make stuff for mav but never let him help and she didnt make it with love like she would before, she wasnt happy. After she died and when mav was going from foster home to foster home he never had something stable, he had a weird relationship with food, it wasnt bad necessarily, he didnt not like eating, a lot of the time he had to make food for himself but it just wasnt as good as it could be. While in the navy he was average i guess? he had muscle but it wasnt super defined and he wasnt the biggest fan of cardio when he first joined so he did have a little fat. (while being a test pilot you have to be like better than in perfect shape but im ignoring that) he has more muscle than he did before but now that hes not flying in action as much he has more time to get back into cooking and he loves it, it feels like when he was cooking with his mom again and it has a lot to do with slider, slider loves him and he loves the food he makes, mav definitely has a little tummy now and slider loves how soft he is, theyre both still in great shape now, they love working out and being active (in many ways 👀)

•When and what was your first exposure to Elvis Presley? I knew about Elvis from a young age, but it was nothing too serious. Full House was my most consistent exposure because I loved that sitcom, and Jesse being obsessed with Elvis was his running gag but I correlated Elvis to John Stamos forever lol. Another jumping off point for me was in Lilo and Stitch. Devil in Disguise became one of my favorites strictly because of that film lol. And then in junior high i had a friend who's step dad was literally obsessed with Elvis. Would play his music loudly every single time i went over her house. My nana also would make reference to marrying my grandpa because he looked like Elvis. But my biggest exposure to Elvis was from the Baz film of course. So he's been around me for a long time, but I never took it too far until this film.

•And what was your first impression? I thought Elvis was nothing more than a gimmick. He's been so overly parodied in his life and in death that I grew to roll my eyes at those "uh huhhh thank ya very much lil mama" type of deals y'know. I was like ugh please...I saw him as very novelty and I never saw past those parodies.

•Lace shirts or jumpsuits? Oooh come on now!! Lace shirts are so slutty but honestly, those jumpsuits get me hot under the collar.

•You can steal one of Elvis/Austin’s outfits, what’s it going to be? Im assuming this is in the context of stealing an outfit so i can wear it. Since I can't choose just one i'll give 2, one for Elvis and one for Austin

I would be like Elvis baby...the man has gots to go i beg of you. I think in my delusional mind he'd listen to me. ain't nothin gonna work if i talk to the Colonel himself except maybe if i give him a firm slap across the mouth

•What was your favorite aspect/scene from the Elvis 2022 movie? i have so many but i really love the Vegas Rehearsal scene. It's so so so good and so hot. like goddamn who told Austin he could be that hot and authoritative

•You can choose only one song or piece of media to convince someone to become an Elvis fan, what is it going to be? that's really hard because i have to think of this practically. if i show someone one of Elvis's many films, i don't think that would do the trick. it would be too cheesy for a non-fan. And then the 68 Comeback Special is a good option however with all the musical numbers in there i again don't think that would 100% win a non-fan over without context.

I would probably show them the That's The Way It Is film doc that shows funny rehearsal footage and then the live concert from 1970. It's perfect because it shows Elvis's dedication to the musical arrangements, his humor, and his talent.

•How many children would you give Elvis Presley from your own -or theoretical- womb? (listen to the beast in ya, your feminism won’t serve you here) I genuinely am terrified of the idea of pregnancy and labor because im not about pain and suffering with a changing body for 9 months. But for Elvis...damn i'd give him maybe like 2-3 kids. But this is a hard question because we know the man wasn't a fan of women who gave birth/had children soooo...if I could give him children and he'd still want to fuck me then thats a win Lol.

Ask Meme for Candace Flynn from Phineas and Ferb;

Why I like them; Oh, so many reasons! I am literally writing a post on why Candace is one of my favorite characters—but for this, I’ll pick one; her underdog nature. Candace is constantly pushed down and kicked by the universe, even when she does nothing wrong. Yet she always gets back up. She complains, moans, and gets frustrated but she still gets up and continues to fight for what she believes in. That’s another thing I like about her; she has strong morals. Don't get me wrong, her beliefs often cause her trouble but you can see that she's trying to do what she sees as right. As cool as the things Phineas and Ferb do are, they're still dangerous and breaking the rules. Candace will do what she believes is right, even if the universe is literally against her. 

And Candace will more often do the right thing even when she knows it’ll cost her. She sacrifices her phone to stop Mitch, destroys a CD on Phineas’ birthday instead of getting him in trouble on his birthday and destroys evidence that will prove that she’s not crazy to protect Nosy, and gives up a precious childhood toy so a little girl can be happy, and more. In each of these instances, she is giving up something important to her because it’s the right thing to do, even though it hurt her personally.

Why I don’t; There are times she's a bit entitled and selfish, but she grows out of it over time.

Favorite outfit; I really liked the dress she wore to Hawaii and the Princess gowns. (Her swimsuits and PJs are also cute, along with her winter jacket.)

OTP; Sadly, I have none for Candace just yet. (I used to love Canderry when I was younger, but I prefer them as Uncle and niece now.)

Brotp; Oh, tons! I love Candace with her brothers, but also Perry, Stacy, Buford, and Baljeet (I think they worked really well as a group in the Star Wars Special), and Doofenshmirtz (I think they have the potential for an interesting dynamic.)

Head Canon; Candace unknowingly has psychic powers like Max from “Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse.” Because of this, her sense of reality is fragile as she can see into other dimensions and her memory can’t be erased. (Luckily for Perry, she knows how to keep a secret.)

Unpopular opinion; Oh boy. This is what’s going to isolate me from the PnF community despite my love for Candace; I don’t like Canderemy.

This is the canon couple and the one completely beloved by the fandom. And why wouldn’t they? They’re so sweet, and Jeremy is absolutely perfect for Candace and is just what she needs in her life.

And yet—I don’t like it.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the couple at all. As I said, they’re sweet, and Jeremy is perfect for Candace.

The problem for me is that Jeremy is too mellow to the point of being boring. Plus, it feels like he only exists to be Candace’s perfect mate. The only thing that makes him interesting is his relationship with Candace. That’s it. I know the series tried to add some character to him, but I felt more for Monty, who we only saw for a few episodes than I did for Jeremy, who I saw for three seasons.

Whatever you feel about Phinbella or Ferbnessa all parties can stand on their own and be interesting. I could watch an episode focused on any one of these characters and be entertained. Not so much with Jeremy.

I dunno, I don’t hate him but he’s my least favorite part of the show (besides Suzy, that is). There is nothing about him that appeals to me outside of the fact he's nice to Candace, so I won’t be writing fanfics about him anytime soon.

A wish; In the new seasons we get to see Candace overcoming her obsession with her brothers and not only stepping into a new life but one that allows her to be just as amazing as her brothers without depending on them.

An oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen; Candace’s development gets undone, and that she actually ends up living the life she has in “Quantum Boogaloo.” (This happens to be one of my least favorite episodes along with Act Your Age.) I hope that all the time traveling going around gives her a different future.

100% It was Lilo and Stitch. And because of that damn movie, I thought Elvis was born and raised in hawaii. You can’t tell me otherwise you thought differently.

2. And what was your first impression?

Well, I was a young little child. I probably just thought that it was good music. This was years ago, so I’m going off of brain memory right now.

3. Lace shirt or jumpsuits?

Jumpsuits. I thought about this for awhile, because there are way more jumpsuits, then lace shirts. Now, you can never forget the feeling the lace shirts give, but those jumpsuits... They are something else.

4. You can steal one of Elvis/Austin/s outfits, what’s it going to be?

Okay, I don’t know how many of you have seen, “Elvis, that’s the way it is”, but the shirts he wears when they are practicing. The bright purple patterned one, the red aututom kind of one. I want those, but if we’re only doing one. I would take the red one. This one!

There are like three things. A) He was a reader, and I hardly ever see it mentioned in any types of fics. (From my knowledge) B) Dude was hella religious. He loved God and its hardly shown in some fics. Sure, it hardly needs to be shown, but. C) Dude was hella afraid of sex. Truely, when he was sent off to Germany and he learned what prostitutes were... dude was scare. And I a lot of people in their mind few Elvis as someone who was sex crazed.He was scared earlier on. These are just my opinions. And fics are written in our own way, but its nice to see real aspects of Elvis in them.

First time I saw him was when I was watching Zoey 101. I might’ve been only 6 when season four came out, but I still found Austin cute. Then again in iCarly, I was like... he cute. Then AGAIN in Wizards of Waverly place. THEN AGAIN, in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. His early stuff yes, haven’t really been like ya know. I am a fan, I wouldn’t say die hard fan.

Uh, so there's two options. I am going to make up my own? I am someone who will do everything for this man, because that’s just how I am with any partner. I wouldn’t be something he sampled, or a fling? Because I wouldn’t know how to handle that.

I think Mickey and Ian would start with a car trip for their first romantic getaway. Just drive a few places over. Get used to the whole "we can do this and enjoy this now" - vibe. They got money and after hiring a second team they got some time for holidays and husband-time too.

If they ever do fly somewhere they won't go outside the US, I think. And since I am projecting my dreams onto them I'd maybe choose a Hawaii holiday for them. There's the beach. Them. No bad or sad memories for either of them. There are beautiful flowers to admire. Good drinks and food. I think Mickey really would enjoy the whole atmosphere and allow himself to live life to the fullest (since Ian got him to enjoy shorter holidays in the last few years and he's fully on board now). I don't think they would go to visit family. This is just for them.

Ian would overpack on shoes and socks and underwear. Mickey would overpack on various layers for his daily outfits, before they say "fuck it" and just pack for one weather, fully ready to spend the whole day in bed together, should there be a rainy day. Ian would check Mickey's bags a lot to see if he's got his passport and the tickets, Mickey would smuggle b vitamins into Ian's bag and add a bottle of lube to the two they already packed. Just in case.

They would get to the airport early. This is too important for both of them to mess up. Plus Mickey's good at planning this shit and Ian is good at getting Lip to drive them to the airport with time to spare.

When they come back it's Debbie, Liam and Franny waiting for them. They made a sign. There's lots of glitter. Mickey rolls his eyes. And then keeps it safe forever.

Modern verse

1. As much as these two are home bodies and love just spending date night cooking up whatever’s hot on the press (or what El finds on Pinterest), these two love going to concerts. Whether it’s small town gigs to support local musicians or driving down to SF for a stop on some band’s concert tour. Their favorites had to be Foo Fighters a couple years ago, Father John Misty and some guy who called himself The Possum over at JJ’s.

2. They’ve always talked about going to Hawaii, especially after mentioning it at Sam’s colleague’s wedding—and they finally went on their second anniversary. It took three whole days for Sam to convince El to let him teach her how to surf. She wasn’t lying back then when it’s been something she’d been avoiding since the tot could swim. Swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, she’d do it all in a heart beat—hell, she’d even go cage diving, but somehow surfing was crossing a line. But, he convinced her and she wanted to quit after fifteen minutes. Thankfully, the deputy is just as stubborn as she is and prompted her to keep going. By the end of the lesson, she could say she could quasi-stand on a board for at least twenty seconds before wiping out. The rest of the trip was beautiful and relaxing with dancing and drinks and good food until the last day when they fell asleep on the beach only to wake up with the worst sun burn of their lives. Lobster red. Needless to say, the flight back was hell on earth and they didn’t move off the couch for two days.

3. Aurora’s school has these back to school nights every year for the parents to come and learn a bit about the teachers and curriculum for the year. Funny enough, no kids allowed, so Aurora gets some Uncle Jesse time while the parents learn about crossing guard volunteering and allergy protocols. The Silas’ are notorious for leaving early because of whatever excuse they could come up with but nothing will beat them nearly getting caught having a quickie in the bathroom stall during a ‘meeting’ in the auditorium with the principal.

4. It’s no surprise that El loves holidays and she’s lucky enough to have married someone who at the very least indulges her. Needless to say, the Silas’ home is often the meeting ground for major holidays—completely decked out with decorations and matching color schemes for every season. The urge only grew as Aurora got older and could join in with making crafts and correlating outfits (pets included). They have the best Christmas card every year. Sam’s favorite is St. Patty’s day, Aurora’s is a tie between Valentine’s Day and Halloween and lastly, El is a sucker for Christmastime.

8 mins in and I was really worried about this one. I'd been wanting to watch this one for a while, as it's really well known, they even have a Funko Pop of Blue Hawaii Elvis! Elvis' character has himbo qualities and is literally a Chad. He's having such a fun time with it. This movie is riddled with fatphobia, patriarchy, sexism, colonialism, and the compulsory heterosexuality really jumped out at me. I felt pretty uncomfortable every time he grabs a woman, which is a lot and the whole plot with Ellie is so so cringe worthy. I did really enjoy the slap-happy scene, No More, as it shows a nice moment of guys being dudes, which happens a lot with the local band guys. I was very surprised to see Angela Lansbury, and saddened every time she came on screen as she's a miserable character. Her husband and her are awfully unhappy which I guess supports how Maile's family is so much nicer, but it just came across as a little shocking to me. I must say I was absolutely melted by the I Can't Help Falling in Love scene. So incredibly sweet and with that wedding scene I can understand why this was a hit. The way Elvis interacts with children is rivaled by the I Can't Help Falling in Love scene for making me smile. It also has a touching moment of a father telling his son he's proud of him. This movie also really shows off Elvis' dance ability and style. I do love the shout out of the father saying, guess we better get used to the sound of the youth. What a jab to the revolution Elvis brought to the people pre-war stint. The outfits in this are pretty great, specifically the dresses. What a shame that this movie dictated what he'd do with the rest of his hollywood career. This movie does show his acting potential, but that mostly has to do with this character being written so well for a 26 year old Elvis. Not quite up to the hype.

Shopping at the mall over Thanksgiving Break w/ Joel

Over the Thanksgiving break, I did some shopping and stayed within my budget (that I kept making bigger in order to stay within). I shopped at a few stores that we don’t have in Tulsa, and it was so much fun.

The first one was Abercrombie and Fitch, which is back if you haven’t heard.

Anyways, I’ve been wanting a cardigan for a little while because I enjoy being trendy.

We went to the Galleria mall in Dallas (kinda nice), and I shuffled through most of the clothes until I found the cardigan you probably see on your Instagram ads! Picture below! I felt so cool.

It feels nice, and I like the low-key contrast between the two colors.

Wore it to Thanksgiving dinner and might’ve sent Dom a buzzed video where I showed him the whole outfit.

Very proud of my mass-produced cardigan!

The second store was Uniqlo in the Concord Mall in Los Angeles.

I was definitely expecting something like the two-story Uniqlo I experienced in Hawaii. I got a much smaller version. Still, I was impressed! Uniqlo has such good quality garments for your basic needs.

I managed to find a heavy boxy long-sleeve tee! It’s so thick, it’s almost a light crew neck!

And then I found me some baggy-ass pants for 20 bucks (on sale). Wore that fit to the airport with my even baggier essentials hoodie. I felt like I should go skate at the mall. Very cool.
