so basically this is like,, after Astro Boyd w the hc that Boyd stayed the night at Gyro’s after everything (bc he asked Gyro if he could) and the guest room (???? I have no perception of how this place looks other than what I drew lol) is probably full w storage and stuff so Boyd sleeps with Angel in her room on a blow up bed (improvised sleeping space but also it’s comfy🫶🫶) but neither Boyd or Angel can sleep

Boyd is the first to whisper into the darkness (somewhat bc of his glory eyes lol) about it and Angel says she can’t either

After a bit of more silence Angel is like “you know what I do when I can’t sleep??” And then they both sneak out of their room to go knock on Gyro’s room to which they ask if they can sleep there tonight

I feel like the fact that sycamore is also a professor is really underrated. Imagine taking an archaeology class and then later finding out your professor has an alter ego where he runs around in a mask and feather boa and he's been caught by the police for the near-destruction of various towns via giant evil robot. Also he's tried to swordfight another famous archaeology professor (who happens to be his brother) more than once, and he has beef with the team rocket style militia of archaeology because they killed his family and also the leader is his dad. the song is from the lovely (yet mildly inaccurate) movie chevalier which i rewatched today (came out on hulu!!) and, though i had been listening to the soundtrack already, this piece stuck w me and i ofc had to take it and make it my own

context: this scene is after ethan decides to start a full-fledged battle with tobias, rival captain of the grand kenmore, which also involuntarily ropes in both of their crews. ethan is losing men (gender neutral) left and right, too caught up in beating tobias to realize they need to fall back. jensen is the one telling them to get back to the ship/safety (where he doesnt know that an ambush is waiting from tobias' first mate and a few other crew members). its just ethan and tobias left, battling it out, and neither of them are losing but theyre not winning, either. jensen pushes ethan away, telling him to go with the others while he finishes with tobias. the dialogue is from the two of them
