but i’d feel like she’d carry the lighter, smaller pads

but on most days, mizu would be a tampon used

to ur surprise, she typically uses panty liners for the majority of her period

and even if she does get a heavy period, she can handle it on most days

she checks and makes sure that she has the necessities at hand

if she doesnt, she’ll say she’s just gonna run some errands

technically its not a lie

she does go to the closest convenience store

but the errands in question: pads/tampons and something sweet

(personally im a chocolate sweets girlie)

she’ll get u a lil sweet treat that’ll last u for a week or two

she just wants u to be as comfortable as u can be during ur period

and if u guys are cuddling and watching something before bed

she’ll make sure to keep u comfortable

“Mizu, pleaseeee. Just one more episode?”, you plead. You guys had just finished the second to last episode of the show. Sure, you felt a little tired. But the thought of moving and crawling off of Mizu’s chest didn’t outweigh the comfort of the couch.

Mizu sighs.

“You always do this and then you end up falling asleep.”, Mizu states as she grabs the remote control.

“Not necessarily-“, you rebute. Technically, she wasn’t wrong with your history of falling asleep. But not this time.

“Mmhmm. Right…”, she responds, a little sass in her tone.

You pout. “Please. I promise, I’ll stay up.”

You place your warm cup of tea aside, allowing you to wrap your arms around Mizu’s neck. You feel the heat of her neck against your forearms.

“Besides, it’s the final episode.”, you smile. You look at Mizu for sign of defeat.

“Ok fineeee,” she clicks on the next episode button, “Stay awake now. I’m not summarizing it this time.”

You plant a kiss on her cheek, pulling her closer to your body. She places her mug next to yours and letting her arms wrap around your body. You feel the warmth of her hands press against your body, almost burning from the hot tea.

“I promise I won’t.”, you assure as you sit back against Mizu’s chest again. You feel Mizu’s arms relax and allow you to prep yourself before watching the finale.

Mizu smiles as she felt your body lay back on hers. Your weight alongside the blanket you’re sharing relaxes her. You feel her arms gently wrap around you again as you hear the intro to the episode play.

Her hands start to drag along your sides to your stomach. You feel her burning palm place itself on the top of your lower stomach. Its presence shared a similarity to a heat pad.

You hum in response. While her right hand is busy drawing attention to your lower stomach, you feel her other hand wrap around you and pull you closer. You feel her lips lightly graze your shoulder.

“Mizu, it feels good but-”, you say as her right hand starts to gently massage your stomach.

Fuck. That feels so nice.

You hold back a groan. “Not here, hon.”, you say as you nod your head towards Ringo’s bedroom door.

“I know, don’t worry.”, Mizu responds as she places a soft kiss near your neck. “I just want you to feel comfortable now. You’re on your period, right?”

You nod in response.

“So c’mere. I’ll keep you nice and warm.”

modern!mizu would put ur towel in the dryer while u shower

ik its oddly specific

but i feel like she would make sure to make u feel warm in any way possible

with or without heat pad

same concept applies for the blanket

shes always so thankful her and ringo got an apartment with an in-unit washer dryer

when ur washing up, she’ll typically be doing some light studying with some tea before bed

a break inbetween would be the pop the towel in the dryer

next break is swapping out the towel for the blanket

final break is bringing back the blanket right before u get into bed

its a strange strategy but it helps her stay focused and paces herself while synonymously taking care of u

modern!mizu would make sure she’s wrapping her arms around ur lower stomach when ur cuddling at night

the heating pad gets annoying to sleep with

especially if u tend to toss and turn at night

but having her hands warm u helps u relax at night

when ur trying to sleep, she’ll gently caress and massage ur stomach to help release any tension

at first, u thought it wouldnt have an effect on u

but the more she did it, the more relieved u felt at night

mizu would also feel relaxed knowing that u r relaxed as well

when she heard ur snores, she knows shes done a job well done

Bro he’s lucky, The teddy bear was so soft that after a minute of hugging it he was already fast asleep! But you were so afraid that masaru would scream at the top of his lungs again that you began to think he would lose his voice if he did that again. So you stayed up all night and made sure he didn’t scream. “Big sister y/n is the best big sister ever! She’s like an all-in-one pack! I even beat her at soccer once and she rewarded me with so much gifts like toy cars and so much more! Big sister y/n is the best!”

- Jataro thought you would hate him for his looks so he never took his stupid mask or whatever its called off but you knew he was secretly sweating and having a hard time breathing in that mask so you told him to take it off once and he immediately said : “No!-” but he was cut off by you taking it off for him. He thought he was ugly? No! You thought he looked adorable! And uhm he was quite smelly eh and you bathed him- when he found out you had a talent for drawing he was really shocked to see your cool drawings and he shyly asked you to teach him how to draw in your own cool way of drawing and you happily agreed! He had so much fun with you that he was now used to not wearing his stupid mask anymore haha! “Big sister y/n is the most fun person I’ve ever met! She’s super cool and so nice!”

One day you were bored as heck so you decided to download genshin impact, you’ve been interest in it for a VERY long time.

When the game started you picked Lumine and typed the name [Name] and then you started playing the game.

Everything was normal and you enjoyed playing the game you thought it was really calming.

You decided to not change your current party because you thought they were already good enough.

- When Lumine found out she was a video game character in a so called game called ‘Genshin Impact’ she was literally shocked because she never knew she was just a character in a video game. She found out about it when you did some stupid shi with her in the game and she was confused on why she was being controlled and walked around like an insane idiot because you were controlling her but when she found out that as long as the game was still open she can see everything you do and even see your personal chats with your friends but who can blame her? Genshin impact was still open so she could see everything that you do.

- When Barbara found out she was a video game character, she was shocked that everything and everyone was just a video game, But when she saw that the player really wanted to have her but doesn’t want to waste they’re primogems she kinda feels a bit special because you made more edits of her and the edits would be so good and cool! She starts thinking it’s not THAT bad to be a video game character aha.

Artificial Memories

Summary: One of the many down sides of being a hero-in-training is constant quirk exhaustion.

Warnings!!: Panic attack like symptoms mentioned, cursing (like two words), semi-edited.

Genre: Angst to fluff

Word Count: 844

Characters: Shinsou Hitoshi x Akane Shizuka (OC)

A/N: This is inspired off of Arcade by Duncan Laurence sooo-

Knees huddled with a heavy lump in her throat, Akane was drowning in a never ending silence. Crying wasn't an option as her tears had stopped coming about an hour and a half ago. The clock was reading "3:08 AM" in bold, red letters when she checked for what seemed like the 50th time in the past ten minutes. The memory she remembers so vividly, but seems so far, repeating constantly like a loop in her mind. Her hand was already clasped over her mouth to hopefully muffle any sounds, as the scene replayed for the nth time that night:

Walking back to the dorms after a late night sparring session was always fun and upbeat with Akane. She carried a conversation so smoothly and single-handedly at a pace that was somewhat difficult to follow but others usually got used to it. However, this night Hitoshi seemed to have given a cold shoulder to her. Trying not to pry she spoke only above a whisper as she tugged on his hoodie sleeve, "Am I bothering you?" That seemed to have been the last straw for him. He whipped his arm away from her and had a deep scowl set onto his features. "What? You think I actually care for what you have to say? Tch, this is why I shouldn't be with you.." And with that he had speed walked to his dorm, leaving her awestruck and slightly teary. "Loving you hurts anyways.."

And that's what lead her to now, crying on the floor of her bathroom as she tried to keep away the plaguing thoughts. Hitoshi hadn't once texted her since the incident, but even if he did she wouldn't have known. Her phone was on silent and on her bed while she frantically rinsed her face with the water as she heard someone knocking.

"Babe? It's me, Hito. Please open the door." Why should she? He was the asshole for leaving her like that, but nonetheless she opened the door to what looked like a sleepless Shinsou. His soft eyes soon widened in shock as he threw his arms around her. All she could do was sink into his embrace, "Why would you say that?" Her voice breaking and crying more into his shoulder. She was breathy and her voice was both high pitched and raspy from all the crying and whimpering she had done. "Hey hey now, what did I say to you, m'love?" Even though his voice was soft and quiet, she was devastated to hear that. All her mind could chalk it up to was he didn't care enough for her to remember how much of a bitch he was just a few hours prior.

"You-ou don't remember?" All she got as a response was him shaking his head as he picked her up. Even his small actions with her were soft and gentle. Hooking his arms under her thighs and bum to fully support her as she clung to him for dear life. "Mmm no, I don't. You know what I think happened... Quirk exhaustion. You were so tired by the end of our sparring and we were at it for about 2 hours. You told me you were going to go shower then meet me for dinner. I tried to call but there was no answer, I even texted you baby. C'mere don't want you so sad and alone." He laid the two of them down as Akane snuggled her way closer and closer, into his chest as he ran his fingers through her hair, a gesture he knew she loved as she finally started to calm down. The hyperventilating had stopped, her sobs became small whimpers and most importantly she seemed less tense.

She rambled on and on about how it was a small memory but so vivid, she really thought he would say that. The whole time he was rubbing her back as she relaxed further under his touch, and soon fell asleep. By the time she had fallen asleep, Shinsou knew that what she was experiencing were all symptoms of her quirk being overused. It didn't happen often but when it did, it hit hard and didn't let up for around 6 hours. From the times she was giving him, he figured it had been about 3 hours since the initial exhaustion. He knew how she used different quirks for small tasks around her dorm so she was most likely using Midoriya's quirk to open a jar or Sero's to tape her reminders up. These small tasks would be the straw that broke the camel's back so he took a mental note to remind her about it.

Shinsou knew that she would have little to no recollection of this whole event tomorrow, but he was ready to help her through it if it meant that he was able to hold her close. Sometimes training to be a pro hero is hard work but it was all worth it if he got to see his girlfriend achieve something that she dreamt of as a toddler.

I read chapter 17 till half past 4 in the morning. I had to sleep because i needed to wake up at 9 for a gym session the next morning. I'll try to keep this as straightforward as I can. This happened in a period of a month and a half. The stuff in parenthesis are my own thoughts.So I met this girl in a work training thing we had. Important bits here; I noticed she had really rare eyes (one brown-one green) and I said that is beautiful and I made her laugh quite a bit with some bad jokes. I thought if she found them funny, she must be a little into me.Next encounter; ran into each other at work ( we work in different locations, so it's rare to run into each other) I said hello how are you, another bad joke, she thought it was funny.Next one a week later or something; ran into each other again, gave her a little awkward side hug, she placed her head on my shoulder when I hugged her ( good sign I thought) we talked and while we were talking she placed her hand on my shoulder during conversation, in a friendly way, don't remember what was it about (it was a while ago but I thought good body language sign here). Pleasantries here again, very brief and I left.Good so far, I thought, next time I meet her I'll find a way to ask for her number. I had to go work at the location where she was working, I had to do a photoshoot and she was working behind the counter. I went and said hello, flirted a little bit, I'm not sure if she flirted back, did my photoshoot. I went to get my stuff, she was alone behind the counter. (I thought this was my moment) I went and said: "hey thanks for the help during the photoshoot" she said "no problem, how are you gonna repay me?" I said; "do you want me to take you out on a date" she said "OK" with a smile.Now here is where it gets weird; I asked her for her number she said: "Can't you use the program name here to find it?" (We use a program at work to log our shifts and stuff, and it lists worker's email and phone numbers) I said "I would rather you give it to me now". She goes "But how are you gonna show me that you really want it" and I said sarcastically "well forget it then, it's not worth it, is it.." and moved away to gather my stuff. It was clear that I said it playfully, not rude. Gathered my things, she moved away from the counter and went on her break. Before I left l asked her "when is your next day off?" she said "next weekend" (That was on a Friday so she meant a week later)So I thought that was kinda weird that she didn't give it to me right there, but then thought screw it I'll play along. Later that day I got her number and sent her a text "hey I found it" and we've had a little back and forth banter (she understood who I was).The following wednesday I messaged her; "hey, what are you doing on Saturday, I want us to go out on a date :D" She replied "hi blah blah, sorry but I won't be in town this weekend but we can go out next weekend" I replied "oh man, I'm going away next weekend, well if you remember after one month, drop me a text" She replied "that doesn't sound very nice" I reply "i didn't mean it in that way, it's just seems like such a long way ahead. :D" After that we talked a bit more and she asked me "btw are you planning on stopping by where I work anytime soon? I forgot and put my name-tag along with the wash and it's ruined so if you could bring me another one (i work in the office where we have the name tags)" (I thought it's kinda weird to travel all that way for a name tag) I say "I wasn't planning on it, it just seems a long way to just give you a name tag" and then I follow it up "unless you want to see me... :)" and as soon as I send it she sends me "to be honest I just used it as an excuse to see if you would come" (we sent those last messages at the same time btw) and then she goes "oh man, just as I sent it" Anyway long story I couldn't go anyway. (that doesn't sound to me like her saying "I wanted to see you", more like "could I have gotten to travel all that way for me")When she came back after the weekend, I sent her a text "hey how was the weekend bla bla - how is the new apartment (she mentioned she moved last week)" Turns out she moved close to the office where I work. So I say: "oh nice, so now you don't have an excuse, you can freely come pick me up after work, when is your next day off?" (to try and score a date nonchalantly) and she goes "pick you up? where, on my shoulders?". after that she goes "I'm working on Tuesday evening." me: (here I pasted a picture from the dictionary as to what day off means, as a joke because she just told me the opposite of her day off) her; "mr ironic again" me: "sorry i thought you would find it funny" her: "nah it was funny, Im working friday evening so maybe midday?" me: "I'm flying away on that day" (because i was going away) Long story short, that conversation took around 3 hours, she took a while to reply generally and I replied quite quick. Important bits here; she wasn't maintaining conversation much, she did try to arrange something, even though it was a pretty shitty attempt. and took ages to reply to me. That happened on a Monday, I didn't text again for a bit. I went away during the following weekend. Pretty much thought to give it up because that convo sucked. My friends told me to try one more time at least. Another thing to add here; I could see when she has days off because Im using our CEO's email to access that program, and I could see she didn't suggest Wednesday that she had a FULL DAY OFF.The day before I returned to work from my time away I send her a message; "so what present shall I bring you from my trip? :)" she goes "omg you dont need to bring me anything come on :) :)" I said "ok I wont bring you anything :) :)" (BTW i wasnt planning bringing anything, I was just being playful). 3 days after that I had to do another photoshoot where she works, didnt chat between that message and the day of the photoshoot. I arrive at the place,and before I even saw her, she saw me and came and hugged me saying welcome back, how was the trip etc. etc.. We talked a bit, she goes "did you come to take pictures of me this time?" (I dont remember what I said to that, but I thought good sign she's being cute or something) and she asked again "I hope you didn't actually bring me anything, right? I reply very vaguely and playfully maybe yes, maybe no...." I finish my photoshoot and go to gather my stuff and she asks again "ok seriously, I hope you didn't get me anything" I say, "well there's only one way to find out for certain (hinting date)" and I look and smile, she goes "Oh".Finally, later on the same day I was thinking to not message her after all because if she rejects me I will feel like shit for asking her 3 times. I said well, 2 female friends told me to give it a shot, and I wanted to be CERTAIN if she wasn't into me. So I message her when are we gonna go out? she goes "I dont know, when I have a day off bla bla bla" (dont remember what she said exactly) I say: "ok when do you have a day off?" Her: "hahahahah let me check....thursday bla bla bla" (I remembered that Sunday was her day off too, but she didn't suggest anything) I say "cool, do you want to go to area close to where she is working for a coffee?" her: "oh man, even on my day off do I gotta go to that area?" me: "ok, i have an alternative how about there (couldnt remember what she said here, but she didn't say yes) and left it there. (I remember I made her write HAHAHAHAH 3 times during that convo, can't remember what I said though)AS A FINAL ATTEMPT to make some damn sense to what happened, I go "so thursday what time then?" and she goes "oh before that, what are your plans for tonight? because me and a bunch of people from work will go out, if you want to join us" (I'm thinking wtf is going on. I realise that is her attempt to not answer me and that is a trick to make me think that we "went out" while we didn't) I decline and explain that the point of us going out is to have a conversation without other people butting in, so thursday will work better" she goes ok (as in "like I give a shit") and I say "have fun and be careful tonight". She goes thanks!Sorry for the incredibly long post here, but I need some advice; obviously this girl was fucking with me the whole time and wasn't EVER going to go out with me, but WHY? (Something similar has happened to me 3 years ago with a different girl). I think she gave me quite a few signs that she was interested in me.
