i do think izzy's "the only retirement we get is death" line is so funny because like the thing he's most famous for is being a b list villain in one of the most popular children's books of all time where he gets killed by a preteen. so like yes, the only retirement in store for him is death, but on the other hand, he can never actually die (or never stop dying depending on how you look at it) because he's been immortalized in one of the most well known and most adaptated fictional works of all time

Sorry in advance for this.

My brother and I were discussing one piece theories and we somehow came to the conclusion that obviously Law's not going to perform the immortality surgery on Luffy because Luffy wouldn't want to be immortal but since the theory that Law's ancestor might have been the usuary of the Ope-Ope that gave Imu the immortality surgery Law might be able to pull and inverse or reverse immortality surgery where he renders Imu mortal again, which while slightly crazy would make more sense than him giving Luffy immortality and is not completely out of the realm of something Oda could do.

Now I love Law, he's my favourite and I do not want him to die, but this makes sense and I'm nit ready for that.
