CAPITALIST CREEPSHOW CONCEPT MASTERPOST. BASICALLY

capitalist creepshow is a fast paced horror/rhythm game inspired by machine girl, the "of the killer" series and hideki naganuma! cecil and prim, the son and daughter of god and the devil themselves, are sent to live with their conman uncle, seg, after their parents decide they've spent too long apart. cecil must hide his identity from the humans living nearby but accidentally exposes his true form to his friend jona, a wannabe journalist that lives next door to the abandoned church turned mansion that cecil and prim are forced to call home. in exchange for jona keeping his secret, cecil agrees to show him and his friends the ins and outs of heaven and the underworld, all while keeping them hidden from his father, who rules over heaven.

#but I will still pitch it because I like it even if I have no idea how to do it agshsj #Doctor Faustus is a play written by Christopher Marlowe one of the contemporaries of Shakespeare #the play in a way represents the idea of free will vs fate that was discussed at the time and shows aspects of hyper-indiviualism and the #idea of being trapped in one's own mind and not connecting to actual reality hence Faustus talks to and about himself in the third person #Faustus can be in the beginning already be seen to be disillusionmed by limitations specifically in knowledge and wants more and in a sense #unlimitness which parallels Nikolai’s desire for ultimate freedom and yet as he progresses Faustus begins to be unable to find satisfaction #in his unlimited powers that he got from dealing with the devil since his unlimitedness also poses as a limitation #which I think would be a fascinating idea to explore with Nikolai if I can get a plot out of my head #in a way we can also play with the idea of Nikolai being trapped in his own head too and being unable to make mutual connections w/ people #but this is my brain orz #kat rambles

post op- i was immediatly hit with massive skin thinning and stretchmarks on my chest and part of it is the fact that the top of my chest preop was covered in stretch marks so its natural some of the skin stayed. but the rest is really different. after learning that hEDS can cause skin to develop stretch marks and scar more easily. it makes a loooot more sense bc tbh. my results look unlike a lot of ones i see online and i wasnt rlly sure why

#my scars are thick and very deep in color. in particular my drain scars are so dark that my family often thinks im badly bruised #but i can also see every indiviual stich above and below the insictions as raised dots on my skin #my skin is loose and tends to cave into itself when i raise my arms which gives a weird double armpit effect #and when i shower which natural gets my skin very red you can tell my skin on my chest is so stretched and thin it creats like a fragmented #effect where you can tell the thickness of my skin is not uniform #these were just things i noticed that i hadnt seen before and i thought it was possibly bc of my chest size or my weight #and while i think its partially that the skin scarring and thinning was so abnormal my surgeon said he hadnt seen anything like it before #i like my results and i think they match my body #my skin is loose noramlly and i do scar easily. im covered in little scars from even minor cuts but it made a lot more sense after looking #more into hEDS as a seriously possibility

I depended on my parents to raise and care for me, and now to give me enough money to care for myself, I depend on the bus driver to get me to where I want to go, I depend on doctors and nurses to treat me when I am ill, I depend on scientists to improve medicine and technology to make my life easier, I depend on farmers to grow my food, I depend on politicians to represent me in the government, hell even on those days that I just sit in my room all day, I depend on my landlady to rent out this room to me. My happiness for a big part depends on friendships and strong interpersonal relationships, I depend on my friends to love me and spend time with me so I don't get lonely. You depend on others and we depend on each other. That’s the way it should be! Unless you don’t live in an isolated cabin in an untouched part of the mountains and are self-sufficient, we are part of a society and part of a community!

That being said, most of these people are replaceable in a way. I could have different parents, different doctors, a different landlady, I could have different friends. I had different friends in the past, some stayed, but most of my friendships came and went again (which is normal). So I might not need this one person in particular. I NEED friends but I don’t need THAT particular friend.

BUT that doesn’t mean the people in your life are not important as they are or that they are only important in the function they fulfil. Only, that importance goes beyond needing them. The moment you say „I could replace you but I don’t WANT to replace you. I WANT to keep you in my life even though I don’t NEED you” – that’s where love begins.
