Why do you refer yourself as "ghost and pals from dollartree"??: Because the music I make is similar to GHOST's genre of music from 2015-2017, I've used vocal synths before and plan on vocal synths once I get a proper device, they're my favorite music artist and Ghost is a massive inspiration to me.

Story time  sisters so basically I was in class listening to ghost and pals and my headphones got unplugged  and it played housewife radio out loud so anyway it was playing out loud and all the girls   were completely vibing to it and they were like slayyyyysisterrrand i was gonna say something back when a boyapproached me and said "uh ghost and pals is so cringe why don't you listed to xxtentacion?"  and i was SHOOK and completely flipped the F OUT  i said "you dumb ignorant MALE ghost liter ally saved my life  i was cutting myself for my DEPRESSION since daddy didn't get me tickets to coachella and a pentagram ⛧ formed on the ground and ghost rose up from it and they said "put your faith in allah for he is the most merciful " and then they left and i was so inspired that i read the korean promised to slay every infidel in my path until shariah law was implemented world wide" he then was like I won't allow a mujahid to spread the gentle message of mohamabamba and then summoned a djinn  in the shape of jahsehs foreskin and he said he was the servant of shaytanwell i wasn't going to let blasphemygo unpunished and chanted oh allah the most kind and beautiful please banish these heathens back to hell and suddenly the heavens opened and we loooked and it was ghostthey said "i am allah and i was disguised as ghost to give hope to all 14 year old girls"but then i felt an evil force risingit was xxxtentacion he said "spotlight uh moonlight uh beat woman cos they have no rights uh" and then allah and X fought and of course allah won  and spread World peace  so anyway that's the TEA sisters stay tuned for my fenti beauty  giveaway and remember praise allah everyday

This entire thing is gonna be a mixed bag of genres, hopefully there’s something for everyone!

TURN OFF THE LIGHT 

Artist: Kim Petras Genre: Hyperpop

I feel like almost the entire vibe in this album is that one scene in a modern set young-adult fantasy where the main group goes to an underground bar or club or something and sees a whole bunch of monsters hanging out. The instrumental interludes are VERY good; many of them utilize an unnerving and ominous tone. There Will Be Blood, Close Your Eyes, and Turn Off the Light are my favorite vocal songs; Purgatory, <demons>, and o m e n are some of my favorite instrumentals. We’ve also got some queer vibes with the song TRANSylvania, which only enhances the listening experience. Find the album on spotify here.

Artist: AViVA Genre: Alternative Pop 

I got into Aviva’s music when GRRRLS was getting popular on youtube and being promoted by a number of different channels. All of her songs are contained in the same universe (I believe), and each one brings a different vibe. Some lean towards post-apocalyptic, others more towards horror. I can’t believe I’m exposing myself right now but I couldn’t resist putting this on the list. GHOST’s sound is very unique, even among other english vocaloid producers. They often lean towards using the software to creature a more robotic style that lends itself towards horror-themed songs. Even outside of this album, most of their songs have elements of horror. Some songs on the album, like the trio of Housewife Radio, Black and White, and Rotary Dial follow a specific story featuring some of GHOST’s own characters. These are very interesting to think about/analyze when listening to, which is one the reasons I enjoy this album so much. Warning: this music style is very polarizing, even within the vocaloid community, so if it sounds like nails on a chalkboard I’m sorry, haha. You can find the album on spotify here. 

There Existed an Addiction to Blood

Artist: clipping. Genre: Rap/Industrial/Experimental

Clipping is a rap/hip hop group that experiments with music by using “noise” in new and innovative ways. Their style definitely isn’t for everyone, but I’ve come to enjoy how abrasive some of their songs are. There Existed an Addiction to Blood, their most recent album which got an October release last year, uses synths to draw inspiration from 80s horror movies, and unusual, loud noises to disturb the listener. The implementation of interludes with monologuing characters also adds to the horror effect. The album uses horror to explore topics like gun violence, police brutality, and discrimination, which also helps to drive home terror of living as a minority, especially as a black person, targeted by the police in modern America. One of the best examples of this is “He Dead,” which uses werewolves as an allegory for police basically hunting innocent people for sport. Sacrament of Sin 

Artist: Powerwolf  Genre: Symphonic Metal

German metal group Powerwolf released this album in 2018. I feel like the album art really speaks for itself; what you see is exactly what you get: Werewolf Demon Priests. It’s cheesy, but I literally do not give a fuck. Their music is just really fun to listen to. The symphony combined with metal really makes me feel like fighting a bitch when I turn this album on (in a good way). Demons are a Girl’s Best Friend is by far my favorite song, it’s just a VIBE. Frankenstein: a New Musical 

Artist: Frankenstein World Premiere Cast (on spotify) Genre: Musical Theater 

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. This musical is so goddamn underrated, I’m going to SCREAM. It’s a fairly accurate adaptation of the original book, with nuanced portrayals of both the monster and Victor himself. In addition, the music FUCKING SLAPS. I was recommended the animatic below by @corinkeen​ on youtube and I’ve never been the same since. CHILLS. Literal CHILLS. Victor’s and the monster’s voices are incredible; it literally doesn’t matter if I dislike them, because the story captures their descent into villainy so well. Please listen to this. I've had this in my head for a while now, so I might as well put it out there.

Here's my Hazbin Hotel Nifty Headcanon for her life as a human:

I had been listening to Housewife Radio by Ghost and Pals on repeat when it inspired me to make this headcanon. Check it out:

Nifty is like Nancy, the singer, in Housewife Radio. Except, Nifty has OCD (I think this is why she cleans the smallest things and needs everything perfect). She planned to be the ‘perfect happy suburban family’ but her husband thought she was controlling. He later got bored and had an affair. Nifty killed the mistress and wore the lady's dress the next day, acting like nothing unusual happened. She blamed the lady for tempting her husband and let him get away with it. She thought he could do no wrong. Her husband had another affair later on, but this time Nifty decided that if her husband couldn't leave her, he wouldn't be tempted by other women. She locks him in the house and calls his job to tell them he is sick and must take a leave of absence. This is believed by her friends and her husban's coworkers because she was seen as the perfect houswife. She cares for him, but he tries to escape. Over time she grew more annoyed with his escape attempts, and kills him in a fit of rage (maybe by impaling him with a skewer, since it is similar to a sewing needle). She keeps his body in bed and believes he is still alive. When it starts to decompose, she moves it to the basement. She talks to her lady friends like her husband is still alive and they have a baby on the way (but of course there is no baby, she's delusional). She says her husband has behaved well, and allows him to go back to work, calling his job to tell them he is okay to go back. She continues sewing and thinks her husband will come back home from work ( similar to how Nancy believes her husband is the voice on the radio), but slowly realizes that he won’t ever return because she killed him so long ago. She tells her friends they had a miscarriag, and stops keeping up her appearance over time ( Nancy slowly looks more depressed throughout the song). Her friends and the husband’s coworkers go to the house to see find out what happened to Nifty and her husband. They find her in the basement pinning an unfinished suit on the body, with the pins in her arms instead of a pincushion (Nancy does this in the song). She is yelling that it was his fault and he didn’t come home on time, he ruined the family by not listening to her, etc. The friends call the cops. They barely recognize her as the perfect suburban housewife everyone knew her as. She makes a movement toward the police who assume she was about to attack with a weapon, so they shoot her (why Nifty has bullet hole designs on her dress in the pilot).

This is just my personal head canon until she gets a backstory episode or something. Feel free to use it in a fanfic if you want.
