❗️ The production company Studio WabiSabi announced that their actors Boun N., Prem W., Santa P., Sammy C., Yacht P. and Stamp P. have terminated their contracts and will no longer be artists under the company on April 15th. Shortly after, GMMTV announced the 6 of them as newly signed artists, along with the disclosure that BounPrem's upcoming BL Vampire Project is now being produced under GMMTV, who now also own all broadcasting rights; WabiSabi will function as a co-producer. New S. stated on Twitter that the decisions had been long in the making, as well as the fact that WabiSabi no longer functions as a management agency for actors and is now a mere production company. He also denied the rumors that the company is shutting down. Shortly after the transfer of the Wabi Sabi actors, actor Fluke Jeeratch (formerly Pongsakorn) joined GMMTV as well.

relistening to HtN rn and it really hits me how many moments of fun and hooting/hollaring there were in both GtN and HtN (even desite the latter's overcurrent of grief&disorientation) and how... absent those feelings were (in me as a reader) throughout NtN. like..... comparing the pure rush of Gideon returning in HtN, vs the uncomfortable, uneasy, uncanny valley feeling of first seeing Kiriona in NtN. the elation at realizing the narrator in HtN was Gideon, and the... dread? sadness? grief? of Nona realizing she's Alecto. GtN's "go loud" and its victory versus NtN's "go loud" and its grief (again) and weight.

Okay so, I don't want to give spoilers in this post so this will all be somewhat vague, but I do want to say that there's another part to the Vault of the Roots after the bundles where the player's actions and dialogue are a lot more.. important and meaningful to the story. If anyone felt that this vault's story left a little to be desired, then definitely try the next part! Like I said, this next part gets started after you finish all four bundles (which isn't too hard or time consuming for this one), and like trust me, it's so much more emotionally and narratively satisfying than the first part is.

(Small spoiler in below paragraph for the first part of the quest!)

I don't want to hype it up too much, but it does handle the player's actions, thoughts, and agency a lot better than the first part. I haven't actually finished it yet so I'm not sure how the ending will be, but honestly, I think it'll be good. I think this next part will be especially more gratifying for players who weren't able to convince The Gardener (aka Hekla was the one to change his mind) since our actions and dialogue in this section directly help him in a much bigger way.

i think the moment i fully accepted that IW's story was. Definitely A Story was the moment ebina announced 'bleach japan'. like i think leading up to that point i was thinking to myself 'oh i hope i see X happen' or being like 'i wonder where this is going' and that sort but the proverbial bucket of ice was definitely that moment

#i have so many thoughts #i really enjoyed all the new characters!! #i usually dont like it when shows bring back characters that are supposed to be dead but they did it pretty well #dorothy doesnt remember anything from before and she is just living her own life #and the story is about Her first and foremost even if Laurent had his grubby hands all over the case #laurent really has grown a lot in the time since becuase hes keeping his distance he knows he shouldnt be anywhere near the case #and i understand him at the end when hes talking to her at the station. its very clearly a goodbye for him #hes letting go and letting them both go their separate ways #i also really like how unclear edamura's status with the crew is #hes clearly still friends with abby but he doesnt seem to have anything to do with the case #which is so good for him after the shit he went through im glad he actually said no and left #but he still keeps in contact with abby which makes me happy :) #also i did catch the cynthia name drop from i think the like cartel members?? made me gasp #SO SAD we didnt get to see her or abby :( #other notes the lady with the african restaurant was a delight i loved her #ALSO I SWEAR THEY MADE EDAMURA MORE TAN. been thinking a lot about sparrow being the main healer for the kiddads. something about how even after thinking the world is cruel and broken and that shes the one who broke it that she leaned into that side of herself, meaning to or not. ending up exactly where her dad was years ago. she lets lark be the hard hitter and she patches him up afterwards. thats how its been for so long shes not sure how else it would work anyway else. i think a lot about her mental health and her codependency on its own but something specifically about her being the healer makes me crazy. sure shes not a cleric its not her main fighting style, but based on my theories of what classes the others are shed still be the main one with that kind of magic. and i doubt she’d use it on herself. she doesnt actively put herself in more danger than necessary like lark does sometimes but i doubt she’d make healing herself a priority by any means, even more so pre s2 before she had kids. idk this is just me spitballing thoughts but she makes me so sad
