Fractal City Megalopolis | "Premonition" with Chapman Stick Railboard from Stephen Sink on Vimeo.

"Premonition" is an original instrumental using 10-string Chapman Stick Railboard and then several industrial and dubstep samples and sound effects, around a rocking drumline.

The Fractal City of Megalopolis is made from 8K JSplacement displacement maps and then some city textures made in Photoshop, with some help of a color map for cities from Julius Horsthuis.

I’m not sure what exactly I was doing wrong, but I managed to crash Cinema 4D so many times during the creation of this render. Definitely the most crashes I’ve ever had and it’s interesting because this scene is simple compared to others that have caused Cinema 4D to crash in the past lol.
