🌸 4t2 Flower Power Set 🌺
happy saturday! here is the clutter cat’s flower power set. :] i considered only doing the deco parts but pushed myself to do all the shelving and kind of the lighting lol. i say kind of because i lost steam at the candle and left that as deco. the two table lamps are functional though. albeit far from perfect i think but i was happy with them! i disabled the “view” interaction on all the deco; now sims won’t ooh and aah at everything lmao. all the shelves have two slots, however the sun shelf 1 and 3 have duplicate slots so it works as just one slot. the smiley, flower, and peace pillows are repo’d to the flower power cushions. and finally, there is an optional no fx version for the suitcase turntable, only choose one. anyway, that should be it! please lmk if you run into any issues, enjoy!~ ₍ᐢ ̥ ̮ ̥ᐢ₎ *:・。
files are compressed. collection file included. polycount under the cut.
download: [sfs] | [box] ♡
credits: thecluttercat, pforestsims’ disable “view” interaction tutorial.

So in the post-canon stuff [SPOILERS]
Giyuu is said to be the first one to hold the Uzui baby. I like to think he was sitting there with the Uzui’s and the midwife assumed he was another spouse and handed the baby to him cuz she thought he was also the dad and happened to be closest TT

Ulysses obsession with the Courier is a special type of sad to me cause the Courier’s part was so important but so unwitting. They had no idea what was in the package they delivered and neither did he. Neither had an idea of what it could’ve done and the Courier was only caring out their job (mind you the Courier could be killed via notes in the express contract if they don’t). To them it was just another regular delivery to the divide and one that they likely thought would help, just like all the ones before.
It’s so tragic for Ulysses to hold so much ire to the Courier when it really was the case of it could’ve been anyone. Anyone could have delivered that package but they did and so he focused the blame on them and it destroys what he is trying to instill in the courier on a fundamental level.

the way wyll overcompensates heroics and sticks himself to a fairy tale way of speaking about himself to allow him to give a purpose to himself and give a reason for this damn pact he landed himself in that made his father emdisown him and made him so mad at himself. the way that he justifies kind of shitty things he has done by saying its for the greater good, even if most of the time hes not wrong. how he uses heroics as a way to cover up his fear of demons, monsters, goblins, being left behind and abandoned for one mistake. and in the story he isnt even givem a chance to grow and get through this all in a healthy or impactful way. someone who is genuinely good and kind learning how he is hurting others and, most importantly, himself and slowly learning to come to terms with not having to be a hero. not having to be a duke. not having to be powerful to be important. it could be more!!!

so I grew up an ace autistic kid in a nondenominational evangelical church who craved physical affection (because sensory issues) surrounded by troubled kids invited in from nearby non-Christian schools who made darn well sure I could never ever have a friendship deeper than a sidewalk puddle before they slapped the word lesbian on my forehead and called it a day. The teachers and youth leaders were no better, cause their assumption was that my dressing androgynously and my complete disinterest and discomfort with sex and boys was a Bad Sign and they dealt with it by Ignoring my actual feelings and desires and instead Insisting that I was Still Growing and would get there eventually, get married, and have a wonderful brood of children, because even if I wasn’t a Good Christian Girl yet, I was a good kid, and therefore that was what I aspired to be.
because of this decade-long period of fear, loneliness, pain, confusion, and complete isolation, I have now decided I am going feral. Im gonna write a 400k+ four book series focused entirely around a qpr between two immortal women based on David and Johnathan, their relationship between their adopted son, who may or may not be a Christ analog, and how they save the world. They’re both aro/ace. No I will not elaborate. Furthermore, I’m gonna talk about the truly Idiotic assumptions made about women in the church and the horrific ways the evangelical and Presbyterian church treats women with autism and/or women who don’t want to marry. Why? Because I am Upset about the way the community of Christ is handling these issues, and lying down and taking it like the Ideal Wife is going to make the problem worse. I’m going to fix this problem with spite. And a crowbar.

I know Harper was only tiny because they used a child model for her in the movie when she was an adult but it's a personal hc of mine Harper is one of those kids who reached a certain age and just stopped having growth spurts. Because I had an old best friend of mine from school who stopped growing when we were like 12 <3

it's late, so I'm not going to articulate this right, but I find it so fascinating (and telling) when people separate environmental issues from social issues... as though being concerned for the environment is a wealthy white abled thing to do. as though we don't all live in the environment. as though Indigenous people don't protect 80% of the world's biodiversity. as though poor communities and communities that are predominantly not white and disabled people are not bearing the brunt of environmental issues right now.
like, I'm not saying that there isn't a sector of people out there who are single-issue on the environment. however, nature suffering is, in fact, a social issue, and social issues are not going to be adequately addressed without discussing the environment/climate crisis/environmental racism.
