percy’s sheer ability to trust in people is so beautiful yet so heartwrenching. like grover betrays him in the start?? percy takes him on the quest because he still believes the best of his friend. annabeth uses him and is cryptic with him?? he gives up his life for her TWICE because he believes she’s the better one to get the quest complete. luke backstabs him and fights him?? percy still wants his friend back, still hesitates, still tries to have a dialogue with him, believing that luke is still worth saving, still worth the hurt it will inevitably cause him. and it’s just so baffling how this sassy little kid has so much heart to give that it always, always seems like he is overextending himself for the people he cares about.

I need some prayers. My health is really bad right now, and i might lose my job.

He feels too exposed like that, standing in front of Eddie, but he needs to put some distance between them. “It was- it was a-” his voice shakes, he feels like his body is physically trying to stop him from saying these words, “a drunken mistake. It doesn’t- it won’t change anything, right?” he finally looks at Eddie, who’s staring at him with wide, sad eyes, and Buck has no time or energy to read into it right now. “It doesn’t have to be weird.” he sounds pleading, begging, just needing Eddie to say that they can get back to normal and pretend it never happened. 

“No, of course.” Eddie’s voice sounds hoarse, and he clears his throat, a faint smile on his face. “We were drunk, it was- it was nothing. Let’s just forget anything happened.” Eddie’s words sting. Buck was hoping for them, but they still hurt, and he immediately wants him to take it back, he wants to backtrack on what he said earlier, he wants to- he really needs to get a fucking grip and sort out his feelings.

Honestly it would be funny if bad reset himself to get rid of the radition and potentially whatever is turning him blue (I don't know if he can he only mentioned the radiation) while no one else gets memory wiped. Then when they all come back and he remembers nothing everyone is so fucking confused about why he was because he wasn't when they first arrived. But the two other demons know what's going on and have a side convo about why he would (I don't remember if they know about the radiation) and Mouse has to explain alone that it was Bad's choice and a demon thing which would probably confuse everyone even more while Tina stands beside Bagi and Em, worried for her guard dog.
