#just tagging any posts that mention aromantics with aroace
Text
you ever see someone reply to u with such a long take that reads everything u said in bad faith and also puts words in ur mouth and ??? im so confused
#i asked a blog i used to follow not to tag the aro posts they rb as aroace cuz the post wasnt just about aroacesit only said aromantics#right#like this is an issue in aro spaces guys like it'll be an aro post that mentions sexuality or lack thereof nowhere in it#and it'll still be rb'ed and tagged with aroace#bc the blogger had like. rb'ed aroallo specific posts and tagged them as aroallo so i didnt get why they were rb'ing??? aro posts as#aroace when the post i was talking abt did not. mention anything other than aromanticism#like if theyre just doing it for aro organization purposes they should have tagged the one they rb'ed w aroace as aroallo too right?#but they didnt so thats why i brought it up and i mentioned that they didnt tag it as aroallo#again: the post i was talking to them abt did not mention asexuality or allosexuality at all#and they??? got back to me by??? talking abt how aroaces are still aromantic???#i n. i never said they werent? i said. not to tag aro posts with aroace if. it only mentions arospecs and not!!! sexuality anywhere#like i didnt. i never say not to tag it with just aro. i would have preferred it be just aro tbh as thats all that post was about#and then they said??? that me being like 'i'm not trying to be mean or anything' is. admitting that i'm being mean#???????????#and. yknow how i said if they're tagging aroace for aro organization purposes they should be tagging aroallo too if theyre#just tagging any posts that mention aromantics with aroace#i think they were claiming that they did and my suggesting they do that was ?? an admission of acephobia?? or something#but they blocked me now so i cant even ask for clarification on anything so whatever i guess#anyway. dont assume aros are ace just bc theyre aro. same goes for aro posts~

Also, while I'm at it, here's a belated
Intro Post
because I've been more active on Tumblr than I thought I would be (which is always the way!)
Tumblr media
(Who-Am-I Stuff)
I'm Jericho, but feel free to shorten that to Jeri. Born 2006, baby (formatted so I don't have to update this post every year with a new number). Any pronouns are fine by me!
I'm aromantic and asexual (all the way; turned up to 11; the whole 9 yards; etc., etc. No gray/demi here, so far as I know!). Wouldn't normally consider it relevant, but I've posted a fair bit of aroace-related content, so I feel like it's worth mentioning just to be clear!
(What-I-Do Stuff)
I'm not entirely sure what I plan to do with this blog yet (or how long my little streak of activity will last), but for now, I'll probably just post fan art (and likely only fan art, despite self-indulgently drawing my OCs 24/7). Also, reblogs.
(Personally, I don't think I have a consistent art style. You won't catch me using the same brush two weeks in a row! But I hope you like what I make regardless haha)
Hazbin Hotel dragged me into the spotlight very abruptly, but I like other stuff too! Lackadaisy and Spider-Verse in particular. I'm not Hazbin-exclusive! Fab show though.
(If I think of anything else that I ought to put here, I'll edit it in.)
(P.S. I don't consider myself a furry, I just like foxes /lh, and yes, my little sona/mascot fella was in part inspired by Fabian from Zoophobia! ^^ AND (while I'm sure the concept is as old as time) I was inspired to make the little intro drawing after seeing the one @/nouverx made! Remove the slash if you'd like to check him out, I don't want to bother anyone by tagging them ^^")

question for all the aroallo people out there about posting aro stuff (i've seen a lot of aroallo people posting about the way aro posts ate tagged, but i've never seen one telling me how to tag it properly):
again, this is SPECIFICALLY for people who are aroallo, NOT aroaces. i'm aroace, but i haven't seen any other aroace people with this problem.

putting in my two cents as an aroace hazbin fan to the whole alastor shipping debate (adding a cut below because this got long-)
before I start, it's important to remind everyone:
alastor is canonically ace and (semi)canonically aro, and that should be respected the same way we'd respect angel dust's identity as a gay man, or vaggie's as a sapphic woman.
"ace" and "aro", while also functioning as labels unto themselves, are umbrella terms for a lottt of identities. Some of which do include the ability to experience sexual and romantic attraction, in different ways and at different levels (demi, cupio, lith/lithro, grey, aro-and aceflux, the list goes on).
So, given all that, is it possible to interpret alastor as experiencing some level of romantic attraction, or sexual attraction? Of course, identities like the ones I listed above are just as valid as any other acespec and arospec identity.
So, what's the issue then? Right now, a lot of fans are using the breadth of aspec identities and experiences as a shield, to excuse them shipping him like they would an allosexual/alloromantic character.
Just to make it clear, that in itself is erasure. And I know that's a strong statement, and that there being such a broad aroace experience adds nuance to any statement you can make on that, but we have to acknowledge as a fandom that there are objectively wrong ways to handle aspec characters, both in the way we discuss them and in the way we portray them in fan works.
And before anyone says it, saying "alastor isn't real" or "fanon content won't change his canon sexuality" doesn't work when real life aspec people can't even look in a tag of a character that's supposed to represent them without seeing their identity erased. It's the way I feel attempting to engage with a lot of hazbin content, and I know a lot of my fellow aspec hazbin fans are feeling it as well.
So, what's the solution to all this? That's unfortunately kinda complicated. Everyone has a different opinion on what constitutes as erasure, what is good rep, how much benefit of the doubt we should give people, et cetera, and so everyone's solutions look different. In a way there also isn't a way to solve it, since aroace erasure is so normalized in fandom culture (not just the hazbin fandom; fandom culture as a whole) that there will always be a significant portion of fans who will ignore, erase, or otherwise deny alastor's or any other aroace character's sexuality.
So, to put my two cents on it:
My philosophy is that if you're going to ship alastor (or any aspec character for that matter), it's best to have an identity in mind for him to use as reference. For example, I think of alastor as sex-repulsed aroace, and I write him with that in mind. Whatever you pick can be a steadfast headcanon, an identity tailored to the story you want to tell, or one you want to explore in your fanwork, whether for fun or to educate yourself on it better.
What's better is that you don't even need to mention the sexuality itself in the work! Show don't tell is a great writing tool, and for alastor specifically, who canonically isn't aware of his sexuality, it works perfectly. Just simply creating with it in mind, asking yourself, "how would someone with [insert identity] experience this?" and going from there, makes a world of difference.
Just in terms of good fanfic etiquette, I'd also make sure to include it in the tags if you're posting it on ao3, just to make sure your readers know what's up and to help with filtering (I personally don't read any alastor ship fics that don't include the asexual or aromantic tag at this point). Bada bing bada boom, that's representation right there!
Since Alastor is one of very, very few ace characters in mainstream media, and even less aro characters in media period, us as a fandom creating good representation with him is really important, especially in terms of the breadth of aspec identities. We don't get much representation, so claiming he's definitively one label or another isn't productive, and hurts the community in the long run. Fanfiction is first and foremost an exploration of canon, so why not play around with what "aro" and "ace" can look like for him?
Case and point, I've seen some incredible ship fics that headcanon him as demisexual and/or demiromantic, and do a great job representing those identities. I've also seen some really good fics that portray him as sex-repulsed, and others that portray him as sex-neutral or positive. All of that is great, and again, even if it isn't directly mentioned: adding subtext, putting it in the tags, and even simply writing the fic with the sexuality in mind does wonders.
Me personally, I headcanon Alastor with the same identity as me; sex- and romance-repulsed aroace, but open to queerplatonic relationships. That doesn't mean fics that interpret him with a different aspec identity are less valid, or are interpreting him wrong. All of it is valid representation.
And that's not even getting into queerplatonic relationships, which is what I put Alastor into for my own headcanons (queerplatonic radioapple fic when). For that, please do your own research, but remember that queerplatonic relationships tend to look different for every couple. They can be poly, include kissing and physical intimacy, or look just like what most people would consider a regular friendship or regular romance.
So, can you ship aroace characters? Sure you can, as long as it isn't at the expense of their sexuality, or more accurately, the representation their sexuality gives to a historically underrepresented group.
That's pretty much it from me, please remember to support aspec fanartists and fanfic writers, and happy (early) aromantic spectrum awareness week for all my fellow arospecs!!

As an aroace, I think it's really important that we focus on aroallos for Arotines Day. Valentine's Day is a day for romance, and sex without romantic attraction is often shamed and doesn't get as much positive attention as opting out of both (aroallos and aroaces are both stigmatised in society, but I definitely think there's a lot more acceptance and conversations for aroaces than aroallos). Sex and romance get so intertwined that today I think we should be uplifting the people who have non-romantic sexual feelings and have had to deal with so much shit for it, we should be raising them and their perspectives. Aromanticism does not equate to asexuality, asexuality does not equate to aromanticism, so to fight back on the day of love, we should be lifting aromantic people. And I understand that a lot of alloaces will have unique relationships to romance and Valentine's day, but in the aromantic tag it's everywhere, talking about hijacking Valentines "for the aroaces" and "aroace day" and posts tagged with aroace, aro and ace, but rarely aroallo. There's been so many calls to get "aromantic, aroace and asexual" trending, and it just doesn't sit right.
I haven't mentioned people who are just aro in this ramble, but I think they're facing similar levels of erasure.
Sorry if this was badly-worded, and I'm not trying to shame any fellow asexuals for celebrating Arotines day the way we want to, I just think that aroallos are being overlooked by the aroace and asexual community.

The A-Team
(asexaul and aromantic Ted Lasso fic recs)
Let's be honest, half the reason for this post is the title. But also to shine some light on a couple beautiful fics I've found with aro and ace characters in this fandom. The purple heart indicates ace, green indicates aro content.
A is for Ally by starryeyedknight 3.8k💜
When Richard suggests a novel way for the Richmond boys to show their allyship, Colin ends up coming out to the team...just not in the way they were expecting.
In which the team gets distracted (multiple times), Isaac is overprotective, Jamie suspects Colin might actually be a Jedi knight, and Bumbercatch reveals way more about his sexual preferences than anyone was expecting. (And poor Will is inadvertently scarred for life.)
A cute little fic that I found perusing the asexual tag. I really enjoyed this au, and Colin's coming out/the guy's reactions to him as well as him not having it all figured out himself.
Love Stuck by @altschmerzes 6k 💚
When Keeley opens the door, Jamie bypasses any kind of perhaps typically-expected greeting. While this isn’t exactly unusual for him, what he says is.
“I’ve got great news,” he tells her, smiling like he really does have great news, which helps to somewhat offset the sense of foreboding she’d been starting to feel. “I am not in love with you. Can I come in?"
OR: Jamie Tartt is aromantic. This changes everything. This also changes nothing. A study in identity, defining your own relationships, and different kinds of love.
I am completely in love with this fic. Jamie having a bi panic before he realizes actually, neither is good/ref. It's very true to my own experiences and made me relate to him so much.
Such a Skeptic: or, Keeley Jones is Bad at Communication by ellarree 800💚
Keeley Jones is definitely not bitter about Shandy. Barbara is definitely interested in double dates and the institution of romance as a whole. Jamie Tartt definitely knows why he’s here. And Jack Danvers? Well, she knows that none of those three statements are true.
A short sequel to the above fic, with aromantic bonding and Barbara who quite honestly deserves so much more screen time in cannon. It has it's own sequel which you can find here.
A Simple Matter of (Mis)Communication by starryeyedknight 3k💜
For the past few weeks Moe Bumbercatch and Jan Maas have been spending an awful lot of time together, and everyone knows what that means. Everyone, apparently, except for Moe Bumbercatch himself...
Apparently I just need to binge read this author's whole collection of works because I didn't realize they also write A is for Ally until making this. Asexual Jan Mass which again I found myself relating to a lot. Technically part of a series and his asexuality was mentioned in the first work, but it's central to the plot of this one. It's also super cute.
Self rec: it's a rather touching notion by providing_leverage 5.7k 💜💚
“I won’t beat around the bush. We think you might be bisexual. You familiar with it?” A friendly team game of spin the bottle ends in a few revelations, some quicker than others. (AKA Moe Bumbercatch going through the unofficial aroace right of passage: adding no real attraction to men with no real attraction to women and coming up with bisexual, with a little help from his friends)
I really enjoyed writing this, even if the last 2k was just a fight against myself. It went through so many different versions and ended longer than I meant for it to be. I really neat part of the Ted Lasso fandom is how platonic so much of the content is.
If you've got any aspec recommendations of your own, please drop them here or tag me. Self recs are absolutely invited. Happy pride!

Trigger Warning: mentions of religious abuse/trauma, SA, rape, sult shaming, whorephobia, queerphobia, sexual activities
If you're a minor, please be warned that there are 18+ topics addressed in this post.
If you're a proshipper, please do not interact with me. Any asks from proshippers will be deleted. Any DMs from proshippers will be deleted and will be blocked. Any proshipper who screenshots this post and/or makes a post tagging me in it will be blocked.
I'm honestly tired of seeing proshippers calling antis (or anyone in general) purists or puritians for saying that they don't support abusive and problematic ships. Being an antishipper is not purity culture.
Purity culture was created by conservative Christians as a way by asserting dominates over marginalized people and non-Christian people.
Antis are not going after random Queer people and non-Christians by telling them that they're going to hell if they don't conform to heteronormitivity (idk if I spelled that right) and convert to the Christian faith. There are many antis that are Queer, as well as antis who are victims of religious abuse and have been abused by someone within the church. Telling antis that they're purists for saying that abusive ships are bad is queerphobic and insensitive and triggering to the antis who've experienced religious abuse.
Antis aren't going up to random women who are wearing revealing clothing and telling them that they need to start dressing modestly or else they'll be sexually assaulted, raped, or murdered by men. Antis are also not telling women in the sex work industry that they need to stop being a sex worker, or else they're just sluts and whores and they'll never be able to find someone that won't sexually abuse them.
Antis are not the ones telling people that having premarital sex and masterbation is a sin, and they must wait until marriage to have sex or abstain from any sexual activities, or else they'll be considered sinful and dirty.
Proshippers are also being aphobic when they call antis puritans as Asexual/Acespec, Aromantic/Arospec, and aroace antis exists. Ace and Aro people have been called puritans by Allos for simply experiencing little to no sexual/romantic attraction. But yet Allos will fake claim an Ace/Aro person's queerness if they experience any sort of sexual/romantic attraction.
Before I get any proshitters telling me that I'm a puritan (which will probably happen as proshippers don't know how not to harass anyone who disagrees with their gross ass ships), I'm a sex favored, romance favored, kinky aroace person with high libido who had premarital sex and masterbates frequently and reads non-problematic smutty character x reader fanfics and is a (beginner) Pagan Witch and a Satanist. So calling me a Puritan will have no effect on me as I've done things that are completely opposite of being a puritan.
So the next time you call any anti a puritan for simply say that abusive, pedophilia, and incest is bad, realize that you're telling Queer antis, religious abuse victim antis, and non-Christian antis that they deserve to go hell. You're also telling women, AFAB, and femme-aligned antis that they need to dress in a way that their bodies are fully covered or else they'll be SA'ed by men and saying that they're whores and sluts if they partake in any form of sex work.
So please, look up the real definition of what a Puritan is before you throw a Temper tantrum at antis.

Hi. This is re: your notes begging for an alloaro character in the tags of a post yesterday. I listen to a lot of audio fiction, which you can find on any podcast app, or like, spotify. And know some characters.
Fantasy fiction podcast Starfall has two leads, an aroallo swordswoman and an alloace stagehand, who are best buds. Their aspecness is so far only creator confirmed but due to be discussed in the upcoming season 2, and the show also has no active romance, to my memory. It felt like it fit with what your tags expressed.
Some other canonically fiction podcast aroallos are:
Sweetheart polyamorous space botanist Nessa Cheong of Moonbase Theta, Out
Bardic fantasy adventurer and old friend to the lead of Sidequesting, Sam
Nico Salvai, ""romantic"" interest and mafioso wildcard of urban fantasy podcast VALENCE, who's canonically arospec but absolutely not acespec
Resident wacky professor Van Helsing of modern Dracula adaptation, Murray Mysteries
The Department of Variance of Somewhere, Ohio's Violet Lull, a receptionist for a government department dealing with weird shit who is completely over everyone's bullshit
And, just one episode (E28), but creature advice podcast Monstrous Agonies features an aroallo human seeking advice about their alloace vampire QPP
Special mention, though it doesn't have an aroallo, to The Silt Verses, a weird-fiction horror podcast with an aro lead (confirmed aro in show, aroace by creator, and adored by every listener I've spoken with) which features no surviving romances and is just, so refreshingly aromantic and also just really good.
Thank you kind anon! I will make a note of those

As another non-split aroace, you're so correct for saying that we're treated as the punching bags of both aro and ace communities. Like if y'all can accept and support straight aros and aces but are hostile towards aroaces, you're just aphobic. Yes even if you're aro/ace yourself. Aro spaces nowadays literally have the same attitude towards aroaces that exclusionists used to have towards asexuals, that we're weird freaks bringing purity culture into their "safe" communities just by existing and therefore need to be pushed out. And ace spaces still act like we're the bad guys and need to be pushed out of their "safe" communities because we can't romantically love other people, which makes us heartless monsters apparently. It's just exhausting. I've never seen aroaces being so hostile towards non-ace aros and non-aro aces, we're always trying to uplift their voices and bring awareness to their issues. But the moment we try to talk about our own issues in aromantic or asexual spaces we're told to shut up and let them speak over us because we somehow have it better than them. Not to mention the pressure to split your experiences into aro vs ace and prioritise one part of your identity over the other if you want to be taken seriously in those spaces. Like sorry but for some of us our aroaceness is interwined not split. But we're still aros and aces, still a part of your community. Stop trying to push us out of our own communities on the basis of aphobic stereotypes.
Honestly I've been kinda biting my tongue on it for a while because I understand why Aro and Ace ppl have been trying to separate the communities. it can be frustrating to constantly be paired with an identity that you don't relate to - but i feel like so many ppl have taken it way to far. They've taken the relatively understandable stance of "Aromantic and Asexual are not the same identity" and pushed it to the extreme of "Aro and Ace are so completely different they have nothing in common and NO overlap" and the worst part is i don't think anyone has particularly noticed.
Idk I was most active in the aro and ace communities when we still kinda shared communities. the idea that aro and ace were separate was still a thing (hell, aroaces were the ones helping to push that distinction. we wanted people to recognize our aro identities too, yknow.) but we recognized the overlap and similarities and supported each other... now it just feels like im seeing post after post reminding people not every aro or ace person is aroace and that people shouldt tag aro posts as ace and vice versa and "no ace people cant relate to aro experiences" "no aro people cant relate to ace experiences" because "They are so different they are completely not the same and don't have any overlapping problems at all" and as an aroace it sucks!
it sucks feeling forgotten in my own communities.
It's almost feeling like they are blaming us for there being this idea that people are are Ace must also be aro and people who are aro must also be ace. Like they know they cant get mad at the allos so they get mad at aroaces and act like we are the reason allos think this way. It's like aroaceness is only brought up to talk about how "Not everyone is aroace" or "aroace characters are so much more prevalent in media (Proceeds to only talk about ace characters)" or how aroace ppl must have an identity that means more to them - how their aro or ace identity must be more important or effect them more because they can't possibly intertwined and overlap and "hey you tagged your post with aro and ace tags but obviously its only about aromanticism/only about asexuality so remove some of those tags because it's annoying me" or worse I see aromantics being acephobic or asexuals being arophobic and it's like.... where do i fit in?
people think aroace ppl ran both communities as 1 community and they say it was bad and that we need to separate - but from my perspective it was two communities who worked together. the only difference now is that aroace ppl are getting pushed to the side. thrown under the bus. "you dont need rep you have tons of rep. society loves giving aroace rep!" and "not everyone is aroace. you're experience isn't universal and so you shouldn't talk about it" Aroace voices just got smaller. we got quieter. because our own communities decided we were privileged. we were more accepted than they were. or worse that we were actually the real freaks for not feeling both sexual and romantic attraction. we weren't palatable enough - there was nothing that could be used to normalize us. and besides, it was easier to just only fight for one set of rights, right?
and part of me understands it. it sucks. it sucks to always be a footnote. but guess what - aro and aces and aroaces are footnotes of the queer community. we're stuck here together and instead we're fighting over who's the more important footnote. we are all in the same boat and we're acting like we're not and trying to sink the ship forgetting we're all on it together.

Welcome to Aspec Pride Calendar!
Calendar Updated 6/27/22: The only change is 6/30 (originally "Loveless, lovepunk, & lovequeer") being split into two days. 6/30's theme is now "Loveless aromantic," and 7/1 will be "Lovepunk" (with several other terms listed as similar/related).
I created this blog to celebrate aspec identites and experiences during Pride Month. We're too often left out of other celebrations, especially arospecs, and even apart from that, we just deserve to be celebrated! I'll be posting a celebratory post each day for the day's identity/identities along with flags and definitions as well as likely reblogging other posts related to those identities. I also encourage you to participate by creating posts celebrating those identies. Anything goes - original content like stories, poems, personal posts, crafts and fan content like fic, art, headcanons, recs, edits - and anything not listed! Just tag the blog @aspecpridecalendar and/or mention it in the tags, and I'll reblog your contributions.
Because I unfortunately didn't get this idea until later in the month, the event will start tomorrow (June 9th) and run through the end of the month. If there's interest, when we come back next year, we'll do the whole month and include even more identities! :) Without further ado, here's the calendar itself (click for larger size and better quality, and please let me know if there are any flag errors):
Tumblr media
(ID: a calender showing the last four weeks in June. Each day is labeled with the identities below and the matching pride flags.)
9th - Arospec / aromantic spectrum 10th - Acespec / asexual spectrum 11th - Aromantic 12th - Asexual 13th - Grayromantic / graysexual 14th - Demiromantic / demisexual 15th - Lithromantic / lithsexual 16th - Frayromantic / fraysexual 17th - ARCromantic / ARCsexual (averse, repulsed, or conflicted) 18th - Aegoromantic / aegosexual 19th - Quoiromantic / quoisexual 20th - Cupioromantic / cupiosexual 21st - Aroflux / aceflux 22nd - Libidoist 23rd - Nonlibidoist 24th - Aroallo / aromantic allosexual 25th - Aroace / aromantic asexual 26th - Alloace / alloromantic asexual 27th - Non-SAM aro / non-SAM ace 28th - Queerplatonic 29th - Oriented aroace / angled aroace 30th - Loveless aromantic 1st - Lovepunk

[ cw/tw - white bg; (badly drawn) multiple eyes; decent amount of colors (on labeled version) || open tags at your own risk (it’s long) || disclaimer regarding one of my doodles located on the end of this post ]
doodle sheet i did over the course of two days, consisting of some of my RT/lads AUs :]
& of course, as always, i am open to questions <3
Tumblr media
labeled version:
Tumblr media
concerning the top right corner doodle: headcanon for the character & not the cc!!! it’s a universal headcanon across most, if not all, of my AUs that he’s aroace but it is very rarely brought up or even mentioned. it’s just a little detail/headcanon i thought would be cool, especially since i myself am aroace. i drew that specifically because it’s aromantic spectrum awareness week at the time of drawing that & writing this. cc!dan’s orientation is none of my business nor anyone else’s & this is not meant to reflect his orientation, identity, or anything of that sort. if i find out this is crossing any boundaries he has set, the headcanon will be silently scrapped, taken down, &/or removed. the sk doodle underneath the aroace doodle is not related to this headcanon.

hello i saw your fox news aroace post and subsequently saw your pfp and !!!! AROACE KEITH!!! where can i find your fics ? i would LOVE to read them. aroace keith is so so special to me. hes just like me for real
Yay, I love encountering other aroace!Keith fans! You can find my fics here. Yeah, I always write Keith as aroace, just can't picture him any other way. So some of the fics that I've tagged as Aromantic Asexual Keith give a passing mention to his orientation, while for others it's a big part of the story. The ones where it's a big part are here: x, x, x, x, x, x.
Been quite a while since I've posted anything new - I've been working on trying to get back into the writing spirit, but it's slow-going. I did manage to write several hundred words this month, so. The door is not closed on new fic content.

Note
(sorry for th negativity, long day and these thoughts have been stirring for a LONG time...)
I'm so so so so tired of the SAM now being the default in the community. I've bottled it up bc it's not the majority opinion and we're all tired of being erased but a post going around rn brought it all back up and I wanted to vent. It's just sum1 expressing frustration that canon ace characters that also lack romantic attraction aren't instead called aroace, which I understand but man. It had almost a thousand notes with every1 agreeing but my only thought was that if I made a nonsam aspect character, would that be considered bad rep to most of the aspec community? If they lacked any attraction but was just aro like me, would I just be hurting my community more? I feel like the way we approach our identities changed after all the exclus shit and now I almost feel I don't belong or. somthing. Sorry if that's guilt trippy, I don't mean it to at all. We're barely acknowledged, so I get it but idk. The most I see nonsams talked abt is when sum1 says not to forget us... but then non of the ways ppl talk reflect it if that makes sense? It's still treated as if u have to be aroallo or alloace or aroace and tagging a post abt sexual attraction as aro or romantic as ace is bad, even if it applies for u. On ADoV ppl posted abt how much it sucks 2 see them tagged as aromantic, even tho for me it was really really nice :( I like celebrating ace days as a nonsam aro, it's not quite MY day but it's close. And on aro days the tag is full of ppl reminding us not to mention or tag asexuality too. I just wish we could go back to the aro and ace having blurry boundaries w/out necessarily being aroace yknow? There's so much focus on separating now that those of us that can't are just left behind. Again. But on the other hand as an aro I know we're all sick of erasure so I get us being more defensive lol. Idk sorry again for the longass negative message, u can delete if it's too much

Welcome! <3
Hello, I'm Frosty, Fae/They/She pronouns, Aromantic, Asexual, Agender, with ADHD and possible Autism, and this is my writing blog (note, it is a side blog so replies will come from This Blog)
This is a remake of This Blog, which only has a few posts so you can read the entire thing in like 2 min. I'll do a Master List in another (linked) post so that way this doesn't get too long (It's going to be long enough as is) Under the cut there are, blog rules, notices, TWs, and links to important posts.
Thank you for being here <3
Tumblr media
First things first, rules.
1.) No Harassment Its not cool or funny, accidents and ignorance happen, but if you are intentionally harassing someone here I will block.
2.) Shipping, Ichika is an adult so she will not be shipped with any minors. I also won't ship her with canon characters (although there is a past relationship.) I ask to not be asked frequently about her relationship status. She is a Single Pringle who Does Not Wish to Mingle. (she's not AroAce though, so attraction does happen)
3.) NSFW, I don't write it, and I would appreciate that asks and replies stay SFW, although I don't mind spicy or implied NSFW.
Not Rules But PLEASE pay attention
a.) Trigger Warnings! There are some themes in this story that can be triggering to others. I intend to tag All my posts with the following, "TW:[trigger]" so please use caution when viewing. If something should be tagged and isn't, please alert me in my inbox. (this includes if you want something tagged that isn't already tagged) A list of Major/General TWs will be listed below.
b.) Swearing I am personally not comfortable swearing or writing it, but I'm not going to ask others to not do so, just make everyone aware that there will not be swearing in my writing.
c.) Spoilers This blog is currently "set" early in her story, as such there will be things that are phrased weirdly to avoid spoilers. eventually I plan on making a post that has the summary of her entire story (broken up by chapter and part) though that would have the entire story and all kinds of spoilers. (Also, when posts that are "set" further in the story come out, please refrain from posting details of later posts in the notes where it would spoil the story.)
General/Major TWs (These consist of frequent TWs and ones that are potentially extremely distressing. These TWs are for the story and while not everything will be on the blog itself, the story will be linked.)
i.) Canon Typical Gore
ii.) Canon Typical Violence
iii.) Mentions of (Past) Abuse
iv.) Mentions of (Past) Rape/Non-con
v.) Mentions of (Past) Kidnapping
vi.) Non-Descriptive Abuse
vii.) Non Descriptive Rape/Non-con (like 90% implied, the other 10% is kissing)
viii.) Kidnapping
Links to Important Posts! (WIP list, not everything is linked)
