So many thoughts after tonight's episode, but the one major thought I wanted to share was that the women on 911 were killing it tonight! Linda being a good friend to Eddie, Sue finally making May and Claudette talk it out, May being a total kick ass firefighter in her own way (and props for finally calling Claudette out on her bs), Karen advising Hen to follow her gut, Lucy pulling pieces of concrete to get to a Cap she's only just started working with, and Taylor standing her ground. No wonder the episode was amazing to watch!!!

I don't usually draw Wigfrid but I felt compelled to while listening to "jerusalem" by elgar and parry (or the emerson lake and palmer version, if you prefer). All the best singers I've met tend to have this physique, rooted and grounded to the earth, stocky and rock solid, with barrel chests and booming powerful voices. @the-valiant-valkyrie and their interpretations of Wigfrid, and the cross-section of acting, music, religion, and proving oneself worth anything without a role to play, all have me thinking more about a character I've tended to dismiss. I have seen the light, thank you!
