Personality: Rin is rebellious and doesn’t like to be restricted by rules and social constructs. While Rin believes that traditions will only hold you back from reaching your true potential, this also makes her open-minded to other ideologies or cultures which may explain her interest in western cultures. She may have developed this unorthodox attitude when she was constantly criticized for her abnormal strength, huge physique, and not meeting social expectations.

Due to losing her parents at a young age, Rin felt responsible to protect her younger brother, Yukito, and fill in a leadership role to survive. Doing whatever it took to ensure their survival, Rin learned how to hunt, steal, and do miscellaneous tasks to earn money. These experiences made Rin to be very resourceful and self-reliant as a result. Rin is able to adapt to any situation due to facing unpredictable living conditions and external issues. Having spent most of her childhood raising and protecting Yukito by herself, Rin can be very smothering and overprotective over him.

Rin can also be very blunt in her observation of others and events. She believes that one should not hold themselves back and be true to how they feel. Rin would be very vocal about her displeasures or praises towards others. This straightforward personality would sometimes cause conflict with others, but Rin stays unapologetic about speaking her mind. She prefers others to be honest with their thoughts as well and does not react negatively if someone is being honest or standing up for themselves. In fact, she’d encourage such rebellious spirit. She is also shown to be very observant and perceptive of how others really feel. Because she is older than most of the other demon slayers, she wants to be seen as an older sister figure.

Rin’s surname contains the reading of the kanji for “pure” (清 kiyo) and “water” (水 mizu). Her first name contains the reading of the kanji for “cold” (凛 rin).

Rin uses brass knuckles as her weapon of choice.

Rin is very interested in western and other international cultures.

Rin's hair is said to be the way it is because her mother spent too long outside in the cold during the winter when she was pregnant with Rin. Rin possibly got her high tolerance towards cold temperatures because of her mother.

Rin's mentor was Urokodaki. She derived her Ice breathing from Water breathing.

She likes to eat western food with Mitsuri.

It can be very relieving not holding back around Rin for many corp members.

Personality: Yukito is a gentle, mild-mannered, and passive individual. Yukito is more light-hearted in comparison to his older sister, who is a lot more stern. Preferring things to be more high-spirited, Yukito likes to joke around to brighten the mood and calm others down when he senses their anxiety or anger. Even during the most tense situation, he can be seen making light of the circumstance and keeping a clear head.

Yukito’s optimism can be seen as his greatest strength, not letting anything get him down for too long. Though this can be seen as being excessive as he prefers not to acknowledge the harsh parts of reality. This might be his way to cope and a trait that he views as a way to help Rin. Having been raised under the wing of Rin after their parents' death, Yukito acknowledged how hard Rin was working to protect him and saw his optimism as a way to help comfort Rin in his own way. It was through his positive attitude that Rin saw her sacrifices as more bearable. However, his blind optimism can be grating to others like Sanemi and Obanai.

Having an active imagination is another quirk of Yukito since he tends to space out and imagine wacky situations involving his peers. His imaginations can be borderline childish, but also humorous. It was because of this that he connected well with children. Yukito loves to play with kids, seeing them as pure beings whose innocence must be protected at all cost. He can be seen giving kids snacks and toys.

Uhhhhh seven birds theatre au for the ask game cuz it’s on my brain andjskdbdb

oh HELL yeah. The numbers list ended up being bizarre and mostly setting up roles but uh its ok it is definitely a bit longer than five

Merle is basically just Clint. Always taking up community theatre roles and killing it. Usually plays a mentor figure or comedic relief.

Magnus and Julia had been doing the carpentry and woodworking for the sets for forever (they didn't work with the performers very often, just saw each other in passing), but ever since Julia died, Magnus took a step back from the theater altogether. He was just... gone for a couple seasons. But he finally returns in October for the winter musical, deciding he needs a change of pace so he auditions and gets the lead.

Taako often plays the lead or comedic relief, depending on what the show is. He is good friends with Merle but they also do hate each other. In this season, he is cast as the leading love interest, a snarky hard-to-get gal (or guy idc ) who has better things to be doing than talking to this endearing fool.

Davenport is the stage manager who constantly has to keep the team on track. No, Taako, you *can't* take that shoe from the props table to hit Merle.

Lucretia is the Director. It's capitalized because i said so. She keeps everything together and running and keeps detailed notes in the margins of the scripts.

Lup and Barry prefer to be side characters or in the ensemble so they have more time to take up side projects.

After the first rehearsal, Taako is like oh hey uh Magnus right? Yeah I've been doing this a while and it'll really help our performance if we get to know each other outside our roles. Want to get coffee?

And then they chat a bit but then Taako is like lets get down to business and he has a fucking list of questions that they ask each other. Antics ensue.

They get closer through a series of goofs over tripped up lines, and end up in several shenanigan sprees with Merle??

Obviously Taako cannot let this guy know his feelings. And Magnus is like, trying so hard to keep his cool but he is a puppy dog. So he goes to Barry who he's been friends with outside of the theater and is like.... dude what the fuck do i do

and barry is like dog i dont know how i can help you there i've been in love with my best friend for the past 10 years and we live together

and magnus is like are you sure you aren't already dating?

And then the rest happens however :]
