Random TMNT 2012 Headcanons I Have (2):
Raph is right handed but he punches harder with his left and even prefers to use his left arm when arm wrestling.
Mona loves hot and spicy food. She has a high tolerance for that kind of stuff and is not affected at all by its burning taste.
April’s dad, Kirby, is a HUGE fan of Spaceheroes. He was a kid when the original series first aired on TV. Because of this, April was very familiar with the show and watched it a lot growing up. Her knowing Spaceheroes is what also started her close friendship with Leo.
Shinigami never knew her father, he abandoned her and her mother when she was still a baby.
Donnie loves peanut butter. His go-to snacks for him to eat always have peanut butter in it.
April and Mikey have been secretly creating an organized file full of ideas, pictures and vision boards for Raph and Mona Lisa’s wedding, hoping one day soon they’ll get engaged and when they do, April and Mikey will be ready to be their wedding planners.
In middle school, April had a punk phase.
Renet is highly allergic to cats, this worried Mikey regarding his pet, Ice Cream Kitty, but to their surprise Renet doesn’t get an allergic reaction from ICK. She’s the only cat Renet can be around so Mikey lets Renet play with her all the time.
Mona Lisa has a fascination with reality TV shows and is 100% convinced that they are in fact REAL.
After Splinter’s death, Casey felt guilty about how he treated/looked at Splinter. He felt he could’ve bonded with him more, seeing him as another father figure, but his phobia of rats got in the way of it. He’s mad at himself that he lost his chance to bond with a potential father figure because of his phobia and now tries to work on concurring his fear.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned Israel of  ‘diplomatic isolation’ if it decides to go against Hamas in Rafah. The offensive “risks further isolating Israel around the world and jeopardizing its long term security and standing,” Blinken said during his visit to Israel on Friday.
Vice President Kamala Harris threatened Israel with “consequences” if the country went ahead with the operation.
“Let me tell you something: I have studied the maps,” Harris declared, bragging about her grasp of cartography and urban warfare. “There’s nowhere for those folks to go,” she claimed referring to Rafah’s civilian population.
President Biden’s national security spokesman, John Kirby, became the latest White House staffer to warn Israel against taking on Hamas terrorists in Rafah, the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported:
Later on Wednesday, the White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby reiterated that the U.S. stands against the operation in Rafah, telling Channel 12 that Washington “just can’t support a major ground offensive in Rafah that doesn’t include an achievable, verifiable plan to look after the safety and security of the 1.5 million Gazans that have sought refuge there.” “Again, we believe that a major ground operation in Rafah is a mistake. We believe that there are other ways to go after Hamas in Rafah to do it in a way that doesn’t put those people, the refugees, in harm’s way,” added Kirby.
Apart from diplomatic threats, the Biden administration appears to have slowed down defense exports in a bid to force Israel into submission. After nearly six months of fighting, the Israeli officials “noted a recent reduction of American arms supplies,” The New York Sun reported March 18. The IDF was “running out of 155 mm artillery shells and 120 mm tank shells, as well as sensitive guidance equipment,” the news website disclosed.
With Israel busy with humanitarian planning, Hamas fortifies Rafah
With the Israeli government and the military planners busy with humanitarian planning, Hamas appears to have received a desperately sought breather after months of fighting. Hamas’s terrorist fighting force is regrouping and fortifying its last-standing stronghold, the Israeli media reported citing Arab sources.
The i24NEWS reported Thursday:
Hamas began preparing for an Israeli ground operation into Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah, according to a report published by the Al-Araby Al-Jadeed on Thursday. According to the report, citing a Hamas leader, coordination was underway “emphasizing not to allow the breaking of resistance in Gaza under any circumstances, no matter what it costs.”

Could you review the snorlax line?
Tumblr media
Munchlax is arguably somewhat unnecessary, but to be fair, it does have a unique angle to it thematically if not visually—Snorlax eats a lot but mostly sleeps, while Munchlax sleeps a lot but mostly eats. Combine that with it being more active and actually having its eyes open and it at least has bit of a different personality to it if nothing else.
Visually, Munchlax sports a smaller cream circle than Snorlax and a half-cream face. I'm not overly fond of the way the colors on the face split perfectly along the mouth (I know they didn't want to risk it being too close to Snorlax, but I feel like there could've been cream on the ears or something instead) and I would've liked a bit more definition to the lower body, but overall, it does what it needs to.
Tumblr media
Snorlax has a pretty nice design, and fixes a few of the things that bothered me about Munchlax (or maybe Munchlax just broke the things that I liked about Snorlax, seeing as it came later).
The belly being all cream draws attention to the stomach, and the way the cream continues over the head feels very natural. The little V on the forehead also mimics the shape of the ears, which is a nice touch. Its fatness and simple monster design are also appealing—it's very friend-shaped, and it's easy to imagine lying down on top of this guy for a nice nap.
Snorlax is also arguably the funniest Pokemon conceptually, as the entire design is based on one of the game planners, Kōji Nishino, with the joke being that he's lazy and eats moldy food. It even looks like him:
Tumblr media
(Apparently Nishino took the joke in stride, seeing as he uses a Snorlax in B2W2.) It was also designed to be a roadblock for the player, though that's not as important.
If there's anything about Snorlax that bugs me visually, it would just be that the paw pads feel like they should've been teal and it bugs me that the forepaws have more claws than the hind paws. That's it, though; otherwise, it's a simple but enjoyable design.
Tumblr media
G-max Snorlax really did not need to exist and I would've rather seen Torterra take its spot given the similar concept, but it's not bad for what it is.
Visually, it's basically just Snorlax with plants, but given the concept that's all but inevitable. I do think the red patches compliment the red outlines nicely though, and the tree provides a central focus point (important, given that you can't normally see its face).
Conceptually however, it is pretty funny that it's effectively been lying there long enough to start growing grass, much like sloths eventually become mossy because they move so slowly. This also makes sense thematically as well (unlike something like g-max Meowth, which is funny but conceptually unrelated to the base Pokemon). And, of course, having the route-blocking Pokemon basically form its own route is also pretty clever. It's not overly necessary, but it's at least a fun form if nothing else.
Overall: Munchlax is a suitable pre-evo, Snorlax is friend-shaped and has a pleasant, simple design, and g-max Snorlax has a pretty fun and straightforward concept. Overall, a nice little line.
Also, side note: Snorlax's name is based off of Kirby (yes, that Kirby) in Japan and I think that's funny.

What are some of the personalities of some of the fusions?
I think Kirby Bandee's is very kid-ish and kind of brings out Bandee's more kid like nature, but it could also be a lot more serious bring out Kirby's more serious nature when it comes to saving the world. I think Meta Dedede's is a bit cocky, not enough to be really rude, but enough to be annoying. I think they would also be a bit of a show off
Yeah!!! Yeah absolutely! As for the others I’ve drawn.
Meta and Galacta is kind of… also cocky, but the moment he enters a fight it’s serious time. Not exactly an unstable fusion- just incredibly op (most of galacta’s fusions ARE)
Meta and Magolor are a bit more laid back, not a fusion you’d see too often unless if the situation requires it. (… thinking abt the episode where Sardonyx first appeared. I could use that)
Morpho and Kirby is… an interesting one. Because Morpho doesn’t really appear to offer much personality-wise. (I imagine this guy suddenly says some Really Cryptic Shit and does not elaborate)
Galaxia and Enya is another interesting duo. A calm and capable planner while also being absolutely chaotic in combat, funny how that works.
Marx and Nova is uh… not a good fusion. Not the first time, where it’s entirely Marx in control. Other times? Who knows.
Meta and Papi are in a somewhat similar vein to Morpho and Kirby?? Except Papi’s a bit more noticeable when it comes to their personality.
Galacta and Galaxia are… oh boy they sure are something. An incredibly cocky duo who really just fuses to spar with other fusions. (Kinda similar to sugilite in canon, they can stick around for a long time If left unchecked and it’s not good)
Enya and Elfilis are similar to Galacta and Galaxia, only really fusing nowadays to spar with other fusions. But they’re more calm and collected, and they occasionally downplay the fact they can absolutely decimate most opponents.
