A/N: Thank you for requesting! You have a good day, too. Sorry if she’s ooc, this is my first time writing for her.

“What are you doing here?” Sara nearly yelled, dragging you by the wrist behind a building. “You shouldn’t be here.”

You knew it was stupid, coming to the Kojou Encampment just to see her. You wanted to say your last goodbye before you tried to leave Inazuma. In your eyes it was now or never, after all, vision holders were not welcome anymore.

“I came to see you”, was your reply, taking her hand off of your wrist. “I’m leaving.”

Sara’s eyes snapped to yours, a look of almost horror overcoming them. “You’re joking…{name} you will not make it past the storm-“

“It’s either to try that or die from the hands of the Shogun”, you cut her off, your eyes narrowing slightly.

Sara only stared there appalled, her mouth opening but nothing coming out. There was a heavy silence that made its why between you two, settling there.

“No, no I won’t let you. You’re not dying on an empty dream”, she looked away, closing her eyes tightly. “I can help, keep you in a discreet place until it all blows over. The Shogun won’t ever know.”

“And how long do you think that’s going to last. Look around you Sar’, think. They’ll find me one why or another, and it’ll all lead back to you. I don’t want you to be punished for something I did.”

She bit her lip before meeting your gaze again, a sense of melancholy hidden behind them. “I..you’re right. I can’t help hide you. But maybe I can help you leave.”

“What do you mean?” It was your turn to be confused now, help you leave? You didn’t think she owned a lightning repellent boat.

“I could ask my father for a transport boat, see if you could stowaway on it. Or maybe I can sneak you into…what’s her name? Right, Captain Beidou’s ship. I can ‘persuade’ her with the Kaedehara boy.”

“You’d really do that for me?” You glanced up at her, tilting your head in question.

Sara nodded, “Of course {name}, you’re one of my close friends. In fact…there’s a shipment boat the my father has ordered to leave for Liyue in a few hours…I think I can sneak you on by claiming I’m doing a check-up routine on it.”

“Actually y’know what”, Sara turned to face you, a small smirk on her face, “I’m positive.”

It was a few hours later, both of you had made it back to Inazuma. When you both had made it to Ritou, Sara motioned for you to hide behind a building yet again as she worked her magic. It wasn’t long before she motioned you to come to her.

You shifted the hood over your face, looking at the ship. “There’s plenty of storage boxes in there. You’ll have enough room to fit”, Sara’s voice cut through the air as she turned to look at you.”

“And don’t worry about them sinking, this ship is made for storms”, she continued as you climbed into a box, going to put the top on over it.

“Thank you”, you spoke softly, smiling as you went to shut the top. The motion was stopped however, as you saw Sara’s hand on the top.

“Be safe”, she said, as she looked at you one final time,” I except to see you back here when this is done.”

You nodded, “I will.” The box’s lip was shut as you heard Sara walk away. You would have to deal with the cramps of being in this box for a few hours, but your mind was still on Sara. You hoped you’d see her soon. That thought would keep you going, even when you heard the crew board the ship, and even when you could feel the weight of the storm…

The thought if seeing Sara again brought you hope and joy.
