Week 28.6/52: July 10th - July 16th 2023 | IN N OUT 🍔

First day in LA and first time trying In n Out. Very yum, affordable and filling. Got the animal style cheeseburger with raw onion, animal fries, and pink lemonade. Location was packed with people. But yum eats regardless.

Today is Monday August 14, 2023

On August 12th, we did a family outing for my dad. I think my mom who left this realm back in February got jealous.

Anywho, we had lunch at the Anaheim Packing House (formerly district). We each had underwhelming overpriced food here. Ugggh! Why tons of people come and overcrowd here I will never understand. But still very appreciative of the time with Dad and we wanted to fill his senses with sights, sounds and flavors. The rest if this week was spent kooked up inside the Panda house.

We then made the road trip to the Geddy museum. Dad has been here once before. We saw and appreciated some art from hundreds of years ago. Then hung out by the flowers in the gardens. My sister and her husband took most of the pictures. I wanted to experience and appreciate all this day in LA had to offer. I tried despite the crowds, traffic and stomach issues after lunch. The Geddy is truly a stunning place. So grateful for my sisters’ determination and care in planning that day.

After that, we went to a hole-in-the-wall ramen restaurant. I didn’t feel like noodle soup so I ordered a yakitori rice dish which left me disappointed. At least Dad enjoyed his ramen and everybody else was happy and laughing.

we all went home from there.

On our way home, we got the news that Dad’s first greatgrandchild had been born that evening. Nathan and San are new parents. The baby boy’s name is Miles Nathan Paderanga. So wonderful to get this news. So sad to know that Mom could not meet him.

Got home around midnight. I hope Dad enjoyed just being with us. Thank God he is still with us. I don’t know how much time he has left. Don’t know how much time any of us have left.

Cant be thinking about that. Just live your best life.

This year is mixed with loss and blessings. That’s pretty much how life is.

Week 29.52/52: July 17th- July 23rd 2023 | Krustyland! 🤡

Took so many photos in Universal so here is part 2! I got GRU!!!!!! He is so funny and cute to me and this Gru even gave me a heart sign with his hand after I gave him one AHHAAHA. The staff who took a photo of me and Bart did not care about life HAHAHA literally just snapped and go ;_; I had to edit the shit out of it LOOOOL. But I really enjoyed the Krustyland ride. Super 4D and realistic. Love the simulated drops. The Universal Studios Tour was a must go and it was worth the 1 hour long ride and the wait. Saw so many cool movie sets and there was even simulated ride within the ride as well! 10000/10.
