Lord Shen
Voiced by: Gary Oldman
Villainy level: 8
Appears in: Kung Fu Panda 2
Dreamworks proves that they have mastered the art of creating villains. Lord Shen is a white peacock who doesn't seem like much of a threat. Unlike the villain in the previous movie, he doesn't have impeccable strenght or incredible kung fu skills. As a child, Shen already showed a strange lust for destruction, which worried his parents so much that they hired a soothsayer. She told him that, if he were to continue on this path, he would be defeated by a panda. But instead of abandoning this path of destruction, the soothsayer's words only fueled his ambition, and he began the extermination of pandas. His parents were horrified, banishing him, shortly after which they died of despair. Out of the Kung Fu Panda movies, I believe Shen is the best antagonist. His interactions with Po are a lot more personal than that of the others. I thought Shen was amazingly designed, and his deranged yet cunning personality was extremely well-written. On a side note, Gary Oldman won an Annie Award for his voice acting. I can completely get behind that.

Zant
Voiced by: Junji Kitajima
Villainy level: 8
Appears in: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Zant was a citizen of the Twilight Realm, although his greatest dream was to become king himself. After Ganondorf, the game's main enemy, was banished to the Twilight Realm, he granted Zant magical powers so that he could overthrow the queen, Midna. During the course of the game, he sometimes appears wearing a strange helmet, pretending to be a calm and collected villain. But once he takes off his mask and starts screaming and jumping strangely, which completely threw me off. This made the battle against him incredibly entertaining. In the end, Zant wasn't as intimidating as he pretended to be. After all, he was just another puppet in the Demon King's game. I pitied him more than I feared him.

Wildfire
8th-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (a piece of flint)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You create a magical fire that fills ten 5-foot cubes on the ground, which you can arrange as you wish within range. Each cube you place must have a face adjacent to the face of another cube. On each of your turns after you cast this spell, you can use a bonus action to expand the area of the fire by up to ten additional 5-foot cubes that each have a face adjacent to the face of another cube of fire. The fire damages objects in the area and ignites flammable objects that aren’t being worn or carried.
When a creature moves into the area of fire for the first time or starts its turn there, it must make a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 8d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save.
