ooh so i did touch on this a while ago where i said smth abt them meeting at an event and they started talking and then exchanging numbers at the end of the night. they would talk quite often and i think that reader actually made the first move to ask him to go to some bar or wtv and after that they started to hang out a lot more.

when reader started noticing that shes caught feelings i think she would be a little more open about her flirting whereas cradle robber!bruce was all about pushing down his feelings. cus how would people react to him and her dating?? hes like twice her age, perhaps even older. i think that whenever reader gets a bit touchier/flirtier he'd shut it down quickly and politely, especially in public.

heres how a piece about reader confronting bruce about their feelings (trying not to use y/n so bear with me):

There you stood like a lost puppy, watching him finish his sets on a machine you didn't even know the name of. Matthew finished his sets with a soft groan, looking up to you from his sitting position "Whats wrong baby?" He asked, eyebrows raising in curiousity.

You pouted slightly "Those machines dont work" you frowned slightly and matthew let out a laugh at your cuteness. He climbed off the machine before taking his waterbottle "Let's try again" He spoke reassuringly before letting you lead him to that machine.

As you arrived, Matthew looked at the machine and back to you "How could not do that?" He spoke amusingly, looking down at the leg press.

You snorted and began explaining every little detail of what had happened "... and I tried my best to just lift this fucking plate with my legs, and trust me my legs aren't that weak, but it just couldn't work!" You put your arms in the air dramatically and matthew laughed at you.

"Have you ever tried setting it to a different weight?" He asked while raising an eyebrow and you froze, trying to remember if you did. You could hear him snicker before walking over to the machine and setting it to a lighter weight "Try again now"

You sighed, slightly embarrassed at your dumbness before sitting down on the machine and positioning your feet on the plate "Since it's your first time, you'll do 3x15 sets, alright? With each set we'll put a little bit more weight on it" He explained, positioning himself behind you.

You just nodded silently, before beginning to do your sets. The first set was no problem, but as matthew added some weight to the machine, you felt the burning sensation in your thighs rise. You let out a breath, trying your best to finished the second set.

You let the plate fall back to its original place with a soft groan "Can't we just do 2 sets for now?" You batted your eyelashes at matthew but he just shook his head "3 sets are nothing baby, so just do the last set" he said while putting his hands on your shoulder.

You sighed in defeat, positioning your feet on the plate again before doing the last set. You threw your head back slightly, your thighs trembling as you pushed the plate up with all your strength.

Matthew was watching everything from behind, biting his lip silently as his mind wandered to another occasion where you had looked like this. He shook his head, reminding himself you needed his support so he began giving you compliments and started counting with you.

"13... 14... 15!" Matthew clapped with a smile while you fell back spent out "You did well, love" He grinned making you stand up. At the sight of your legs trembling you groaned "I don't think the gym is something for me" you murmured and rested your forehead on his shoulder which left him laughing at you.

You let yourself fall onto your shared bed, face stuffed into the pillow while whining. Matthew had encouraged (forced) you to spend another 2 hours at the gym with him resulting in sore muscles everywhere.

"I hate you" you groaned as you heard matthew enter your bedroom. You were the first one to shower, so you had to wait a little for him to finally join you. He just laughed, climbing onto the bed before sitting on your legs "Want me to give you a massage?" He suggested and you nodded eagerly, hoping it would get rid atleast of a little bit of the soreness.

With that he began slowly massaging your shoulders, earning muffled groans and moans from you. He worked his way down to your thighs, massaging them with his hand while listening to your noises.

It would be a lie to say he wasn't turned on, but he held himself back, not wanting to give you even more soreness. After he finished his massage, he pressed a gentle kiss on your shoulder and layed beside you "It'll fade over the next few times" He spoke, letting you rest on his arm. You snorted softly before sarcastically saying

"There's no next time, matthew"

wibta if i held an intervention for my cousin?

strap in bc this is gonna be long, but first i need to introduce this little cast of characters: I (26f), my sister (23f) and my cousin (22f) are literally the only young ones in my family. my fathers siblings never married, and i have only my mother's sister (50sthF) who has married and also has a kid. so this made us kind of close since we were kids, especially my sister and my cousin (due to their close ages) were always together. we did live far from each other, and could only meet one or two times in a year.

my cousin and my sister have ocd. i have depression. we all have anxieties. my aunt and my mother both have anger issues, so we kind of can guess what kind of house my cousin is living in. and also from what we could see during our short visits. so yeah, we're all fucked up, but ever since i started therapy and forced my sister to go as well, things started to change. my cousin kept making excuses about money issues, and not really needing any therapy, but her ocd started spiraling down very quickly after her cat got sick last year (we'll get to that soon).

so here's where the problem lies: my cousin has ocd, and needs to constantly ask for approval. she also has severe separation anxiety, to the point that she cant even think about a family member or her cat dying. and see, i get that! we also had beloved pets who died and honestly it still fucks us up, but she is getting delusional about it. god forbid we mention that the cat is now an old lady, or say that shes not as sharp/agile as she was before—this makes her cry immediately. also her ocd is very focused on her cat: she thinks she can carry diseases to her cat, she gets hysterical if we change our clothes near the cats bowl, asks everyone repeatedly if sth unrelated might make the cat sick. shes also of the belief that if someone uses an insect spray, then the poison will stay there till she goes to that place and carries the poison to her cat and making her sick. we kept explaining to her that if the sprays would work like that then we wouldnt suffer from a serious ant infestation for the third year in a row, but as it goes with ocd, she just cant accept it. she only believes what her mother says, and well. her mother gets agitated Very Quickly and they start fighting which makes everything worse.

usually id interfere and tell my aunt to just get along with my cousin as shes going through therapy and medication, and i saw it first hand on my sister that it takes time for ocd to get calmer. its not like oh u started therapy? why arent u already performing like a mentally healthy person?? this is what i suffered from when i first started my therapy. but my aunts main issue isnt her ocd. the ocd is par for the course—the main problem is that my cousin never helps around the house.

we knew this, since we have been together forever, that my cousin never works. she complains a lot, even snaps if u ask her to do two things at once (even if its like hey check the kettle and btw put this glass in the sink as well). and my aunt has zero tolerance for her attitude, which leads to her doing the chore herself and well this kind of encourages my cousin to get away from the chores by complaining. she was like this ever since we were KIDS. she'd play with us and make a mess, but when we were supposed to clean everything shed either not do a thing (saying "i dont know how to" even to simple things like put the thing in the basket) or shed just. vanish. whenever we ate lunch or dinner, shed immediately go to the bathroom, and come out after everything was cleaned and washed. and before u say there might be sth else, it really wasnt. she even admitted to it later. she just didnt want to do a single shit. and well, now that shes older, its getting kind of upsetting. whenever she's alone at home she does NOTHING. and when my aunt comes back from her trip SHES the one who has to clean after my cousin, even tho she has just arrived home. this is why no matter how much she asks us to go stay with her when shes alone, we never go. bc we dont want to clean after her. or when she comes over to our house she just. barely does a thing.

this is taking a huge mental and physical toll on my aunt, bc shes physically disabled (severe migraines caused by a bubble in her head, and recently due to her bad workplace her right hand and arm are also not doing well), and even tho she kind of brought this on herself (but indirectly encouraging my cousins behavior), its still really upsetting. whenever we go to their house, my sister and i try to shoulder a part of chores, bc 1) our aunt shouldn't have to do everything by herself and 2) we were taught to help. my parents never had any tolerance for us slacking off.

cut to last week when we went to their house, and it was a huge war zone. my aunt kept shouting at my cousin for things that werent her fault (like her asking for approval or complaining about sth someone did), and on the other hand my cousin kept dodging the chores, and when my aunt asked her to do ONE thing she kept snapping at her and complaining like it was a huge deal (it really wasnt. example: my aunt asked her to put her clothes which she had already folded and put on her bed away. my cousin snapped at her that she would do it and she should get off her back and then kept complaining that her folded clothes arent bothering anyone and she shouldnt be forced to put them away. this is not an exaggeration.) i also realized that part of the problem with their relationship was how my cousin kept complaining about everything to my aunt, which makes my aunt go insane bc she needs a break from the negativity, but my cousin is very clingy and would call her multiple times a day just to bitch about sth. and hey, i also bitch about things to my mother, but i dont call her that much when shes/im away, and also i try to balance it with good fun stories. i know my cousin isnt like having a very bad life, she just likes to complain about everything. but this, coupled with her insistent need for approval, and her clinginess, makes for a bad recipe.

so, when i finally had a private moment with my cousin, i told her that she needs to do chores, and this would do wonders to the current tension! i said this very gently and very quickly bc i didnt want my aunt to overhear us, and my cousin started crying and nodding and said she would try. this made me feel a bit calmer about the whole situation, until the next fucking day when my grandparents came to my aunts house and my cousin, u guessed, did nothing to help my aunt. at one point my sister found her kissing her cat instead of setting the table, and it made us both extremely mad.

i think that gently talking with her wont do good, bc she'd probably do the same thing again. i feel like i need to be more stern and a little bit harsher to hammer the point home, bc apparently she doesnt understand anything unless its shouted at her. im not gonna shame her or anything, im just gonna say that she needs to a) continue her therapy (which she has dropped for 5 months) b) take her pills regularly (which she doesnt) c) enforce a clear boundary between herself and her mother no matter how close they and d) do the chores. if she doesnt do these stuff, then she wont be able to get any sympathy from me, and my sister. also cant complain about it anymore if she's not going to do any fucking thing to improve her situation.

First impression: It was , a 6+ hour long continuous explosion of epiphany and realization.. i cannot describe the magnitude of his impact it was spiritual.. actually felt just like this: ↓

Impression now: hes so META, how do i explain what rohan means to me? he's an artist, above all else, whats most fascinating is the very fact that araki created this guy.

Idea for a story: we got a lot of rohan stories at this point. but, i feel very curious about his parents.. however, it feels that because of the nature of his character, we are not supposed to know this, the same way he cannot die..

Unpopular opinion: he's not a dilfhunter desperate to get railed by jotaro or honestly anyone for that matter at least the way he is during part 4 is just so contradictory to this fan characterization, hes detached, rohan is detached from actual direct human relationships, hes not trying to get fucked its some of the most out of character things ive seen from the fandom it drives me nuts....... Rohan has turned people into objects of study..there is an emotional detachment. This is the core of all his problems. He does not even remember the trauma. He would never go out and seek relationships the way a lot of fan interpretations depict him, you know?

Another: i also think a lot of people dont often see rohans growth? the impact koichis friendship had on him, the realization that he can just, be friends with people, and he does, he makes more and more friends, hes still rohan, but this is not an insignificant change at all

Favorite relationship (platonic, familial etc): ok gonna list, a few. because how cant i.... Reimi..of course. It's so cute. i like to think she really encouraged him to pursue art when he was little.

You worked at a café, a rather popular one at that. It was often packed with tons of customers, men, women, and everything in between but you never batted an eye on it. It didn't really bother you as long as it didn't take away from your job.

You weren't blind to the fact that they all came for you.

The shop was crowded filled to the brim with customers, as it always was, while you manned the machines behind the counter while everyone made attempts to catch a glimpse of you. Flipping levers and filling cups with a big smile on your face, all of the people in line swooned over you.

"Macha Frappe for Jae...!" You called out through the rowdy crowd, the same smile etched onto your lips as the man walked up to the counter with a heavy flush. "Here you go, sir." You offered to his shaking hand.

"U-Uhm, I wanted to ask if..." You quirked a brow at him curiously, tilting your head to the side, kind eyes slowly urging him to finish his thought. Instead, he shook his head before quickly bolting out of the door. Your eyes widened but again, you didn't really pay it any mind, shrugging it off before returning to your duties.

"Y/n." The firm voice of your manager before he signaled for you to come to the back. Soft groans fell upon the lips of those waiting for their drinks. You giggled before turning to your manager, offering him your full attention with enthusiasm. "What's up, boss?"

"Look, you know how you took a leave last week?" He paused to gauge your reaction. When he saw you nod slowly, he smiled at you sheepishly. "Well we're going to need you to make up the hours you missed." As you opened your mouth to complain, the older man gave you a glare, warning you.

The day seemed to drag on longer than usual, minutes began feeling like hours, and you were there until closing time, midnight. More customers came and went, some of which made attempts to ask you out but you were simply not in the mood to deal with strangers being interested in you. It had just been a lot.

There stood a tall figure, her features almost completely covered by what she was wearing. You could tell she was an idol with her entire ensemble. But it wasn't uncommon especially at this time of night. At this point, it didn't really phase you.

"Good evening." You greeted with a tired smile.

"My managers haven't exactly had my best interest at heart." The idol noted while leaning up against the bar, her hand lifting her cup up to her lips. Your gaze trailed up to meet the woman's eyes, for the first time since the shift began, you pushed the textbook out of your hands.

The corners of your mouth pulled up slightly. A dry chuckle emitting from your throat before you gave Yeji your full attention. "I get that..." You trailed off, disappointment still evident in your eyes. The singer looked around the shop, little to no one was there.

It wasn't often it happened when you were on shift, but it wasn't impossible. "If I pay for another drink would you like to join me?" She asked with a soft, sweet smile.

You turned your head

"...Fine..." You muttered begrudgingly, before turning back around. "Smile, Y/n." He reminded in the same firm tone that filled you with so much anger and frustration.

Your manager had long monopolised on your popularity and politely encouraged you to take on more shifts because of it. As much as you'd like to leave instead, you begrudgingly stayed. After all, you were a full-time student in college with no work experience and hardly cent to your name.

As sun fell and the night washed over the sky, business slowed down a bit. The café was almost abandoned, you were the only one left to man the register and make the drinks, your manager had left you to close up.

To fill the empty time, you'd pulled out one of your textbooks, rubbing the tiredness out of your eyes as you leaned against the counter for support. Your mind was no longer processing the heavy information you were being fed. A frustrated groan left your lips as the bell of the front door rang, and you shot up immediately.

"Good evening." You greeted with a tired smile.

"I'll take a dark roast, please. Thank you." She muttered, her voice sounding as worn out as you felt. You nodded quickly before setting the machine up. As you waited for it to heat up again, you looked at the young woman who stood in front of you.

You recognized her, she was one of those girls from Itzy. You didn't keep tabs on them but you did know their faces. Hers in particular, Hwang Yeji, was an absolute vision to you. You cleared your throat before speaking, a part of you curious about her presence so late. "It's not often I see idols at this time without their members or their managers..."

"My managers haven't exactly had my best interest at heart." She paused to fiddle with her fingers. "I guess I just wanted a break from them."

A dry chuckle emitting from your throat before you gave Yeji your full attention. "I get that..." You trailed off, disappointment still evident in your eyes. The singer looked around the shop, little to no one was there. "Whenever I pass, this place is usually booming. Slow night?" She asked curiously.

A soft humming behind you took your attention, alerting you that the machine was ready. You gave her a single nod before turning to make her order.

"It doesn't happen often but I suppose nothing is impossible..." You replied, sliding the coffee into the singer's hand. For a minute there's a lull in the conversation "If I order another drink would you like to join me?" She asked with a soft, sweet smile. You looked at her in amazement before you giggled uncontrollably.

"Your smile is just radiant..." She muttered before cupping her hand over her mouth.

The smile on your face brightened as you poured yourself a cup of the dark, warm liquid. You took a sip, never breaking eye contact with the young idol. "So miss Leader, tell me about yourself."

"You're a fan?" Yeji asked with a quirked brow as she leaned forward, challenging you with a wide grin.

You pretended to think for a moment, looking up to really sell the act. Your gaze returned to the singer's amused expression. "Not really... but maybe that'll change."

The night flew by without either of you realizing it. Empty hours usually spent watching the clock were replaced with laughter and endless conversations. It was the happiest you'd truly felt while you were in your workplace.

"Yeah, then Yuna said—" Before Yeji could finish her thought, her phone began to vibrate violently making her face color drain. Quickly, she pulled the phone up and stuffed the device into her pocket. "I have to go, my managers realized I got out."

She began to fidget for her wallet but placed your hand over hers, lightly restraining her. "The company you gave me is more than enough for a couple coffees." You smiled up at her, as your hand remained over hers.

Yeji smiled down at you apologetically before dashing down the street. You smiled down at your hand, the warmth still lingered, making butterflies escape in your stomach. You giggled to yourself.

'You don't meet women like that all the time...' You thought before turning to turn off the machine and prepare to close up for the night. The memories of the night keeping you smiling the entire time.

The next few days were rather uneventful, so much so that you simply couldn't get Yeji out of your head. Every now and then you stay a little later at night, much to your fanatic customers delight, to potentially catch a glimpse of the singer again. Much to your disappointment, she never returned.

You'd supposed it truly was a once in a lifetime experience, one that seemed to be completely one-sided.

It was another late night, a surprising amount of people were still present. You deduced it was because they heard that you were staying later recently. With each customer, your energy began to diminish.

"Good evening, welcome! What'll you be having...?" You trailed off looking down at the monitor of the register, faux smile still very much present.

"Oh I'll have a dark roast with an extra shot of Y/n?" The familiar voice said in a hushed tone before peeking their eyes out from under the cap she wore. Your eyes immediately brightened as you stared at the singer's covered face. "Rather forward of you, don't you think?" You teased, the grin on your face never loosing its shine.

Yeji merely shrugged, the grin on her face still prominent. She cautiously looked around before whispering, "I'll wait for them to clear out...then can I take you out?" The singer asked with a twinge of blush coating her face.

You smiled shyly, before nodding. The crinkle of her eyes grew smaller as she nodded and slipped a bill for the coffee. Half an hour passes before your co-worker comes in as per your request so you can escape the job quicker.

You both met up in front of the café, which garnered a few disappointed looks from your loyal customers.

You looked at her with an amused expression, arms crossed as you neared the taller woman. "So why'd you come back, Hwang Yeji? Couldn't get enough of the coffee?"

Yeji giggled before moving to stand beside you as you both made your way through the cold Seoul night. "Nope, work's been bitter enough..." She paused to look down at you, nudging your side gently. "I wanted a bit of sweetness this time around."

You smiled up at her shyly before you began to talk the night away again, like you had before. Excited to see where the sweetness would take you.

Firstly I can't really describe well why I like Pearl x Scar, but I'll try:

Life series

Scar POV about Pearl: 'Caring motherly and honest person who's smile lights up the room is just the person who I need in my life full of people I can't trust. Oh, she's traumatized? for losing all the people she loves and as a result developed abandonment issues? .... oh..... oh she just like me fr.'

Pearl POV about Scar: 'this guy is kinda wacko tbh but... now I know what he goes through, and I want to be there for him. We're in this together or some shi i guess. and his abs are kinda hot. wait who said that'

(to quote the part in Secret Life where Scar talks about not trusting alliances and Pearl saying "you're growing on me, Scar.")

I could talk about Zedango and XBralis but basically they call each other pet names and roleplay gay people just like Smallidarity but with no instance of the "doomed narrative" or "slow-burn in denial" that they have. Otherwise, Ethubs is self-explanatory.

Speaking of doomed narrative, i dont think ive heard much talk about how doomed scott x pearl is..... They were in a trio group in last-life with Cleo, fought in an honourable 4-way battle with treebark, Scott won, they're now soulmates through unpleasant means, Scott leaves with Cleo, leaving Pearl alone and hurt, they had to work with each other despite the saltiness and eventually resulted in Scott sacrificing himself in honour, for her to win. The bitterness lasted in Lim!Life with the enchanting table shtick, then in Secret Life with the whole "We have unfinished business from Double Life, Scott!!!" from Pearl. (you could also count the doggy alliance with Cleo ig)

Do you see it?!! Do you see it?!?!?!?!?!?!

I could also write about Scottyn but it's relatively the same concept of how Scott prioritizes honour against the watchers' encouragement of chaos, and Martyn listener lore ykyk. (also in Lim!Life with Martyn betraying honour, opposite of Scott yk?!)

Now to Scarian........ I love desert duo a lot. They are in fact my favourite duo overall, I just— can't picture them in a relationship? Like yeah, they tick all the marks of a great narrative pairing and they also love each other, but I personally don't think they two are the type to whisper softly 'i love you' in bed to each other with eyes of passion and romance, nor the types to get flustered over romantic gestures by the other. They are, however, each other's comfort character and would hug and cheek-kiss each other just to be a little silly. I do see the appeal of Scarian though! just not with the version of the two that's in my head...!

Joe x Cleo are cute. They just give me the QPR vibes yk. (even though i might not fully get what a QPR means)

Now to disliking Mumdoc.... I only know of their dynamic through HC8 and 9.... and I really only ever got sour vibes from their dynamic....... they then kissing just irks me ig...... (but yk ive only watched a summative 50 episodes from each of them so i dont know the full idea of who they are to each other)

Honorable mention to Stresskall who doesn't receive the attention they deserve... they're so cute.........

Otherwise, yeah that's it !!! the others I mostly dont get, but are all valid nonetheless👍👍

Someone asked a couple good faith questions and I asked if I could screenshot them and respond to them as long as I cut their name out and reblogs disabled (tbh I'm doing that with all my palestine posts from now on). This is not going to be the best response. It's my jumbled thoughts and how I am reacting to news every minute. Technically not the coherent answer you wanted that I maybe could have given on October 7.

I just want to start off that there is over 4000 palestinians killed by israel in the past two weeks and up to 1000 or even more stuck under the rubble dead or dying. i can't keep a hold of my emotions and my beliefs and my hope change by the hour. I dont have family in Gaza but they are all my family. I am on my phone 24/7 to find out what's happening.

U mentioned the prisoner exchange and thank you because this is what is lost in all the news coverage. I think there needs to be equal attention on palestinian prisoners because as palestinians have pointed out this is not a humanitarian issue this is political and a political cause and we want our prisoners and for democrats in the US to sideline the calls for the release of our prisoners who are suffering unimaginably in israeli prisons and shift attention on gazas humanitarian crisis..where did the humanitarian crisis start. That is what I was criticizing in my original post about ceasefire. Why are we depoliticizing what we want. At this point however things have gotten so horrifically bad that I am voicing what gazans want in their latest demands for ceasefire

There are burials that need to be done. If disease breaks out then what is a resistance movement with no one to fight for it. They need food and water and lots of medical supplies. Yet, it's almost like that will not happen. The US in the past has facilitated sham peacefires but this is the most violent the bombing has ever been, and they are refusing to encourage a ceasefire. My guess as to why is if they orchestrate a ceasefire then Hamas has opportunity to rebound, regroup find its members take another plan of action. I don't believe the ceasefire will happen unless there is some force that will push israel to respect it and I can't see what that is because their goal is as journalist Mariam Barghouti says "extermination." Why would they give in to international calls to ceasefire when they are so close to what they want. Finish what they couldn't do in 2014. They want total submission from the gazans

To just make this essay of mine even less coherent lets go back to hostages and the prisoner exchange. Hamas is switching strategy from "we'll kill one for every bomb dropped" to more of a PR campaign now releasing women with children and elderly israelis and releasing propaganda videos to deliberately incite the israeli government. The israeli government refused to accept the two that were released to the Red Cross today because of the so called "mendacious propaganda" from Hamas. Hamas sees a weakness and they are taking advantage of it by releasing some hostages unconditionally while israel has been expressing to the world that the hostages can only go home with this intense bombing. Strangely I think pressure to exchange with hamas will come from the inside as a result of this propaganda war. Netanyahu is extremely unpopular and I've seen many israelis advocate for a prisoner exchange

The thing with Israel's collapse is I know we can never predict when it'll happen and I don't think it'll happen this year. However I think that everything they are doing which makes them look extremely powerful, playing God in front of the whole world with 2 million lives, is proof that this the most threatened than they ever been in a long time (probably since the first intifada). Which sounds poetic and less realistic but I can explain a little more

Part of Israel's whole game was to keep hamas alive not only to keep them as a scapegoat to bomb gaza but also use them to divide palestine. We know the story they funded hamas to cut out the plo and the pflp except all the decades of doing so has fell apart in the last couple years. Hamas, Pflp and other factions have unified and coordinate with each other. Gaza may be physically separated from the west bank but they work in tandem with them. When hamas did its operation all the militant factions came out in confrontations with the iof. That's something that I think is wounding the israeli apparatus and why are they trying to instill so much fear into not only gaza but the west bank (as you know they are mass arresting thousands in the west bank, Jerusalem, and in the 48 territories and just airstriked a mosque in jenin...). I understand that alot of times that israels policy is to act brutal so they can provoke a reaction from the militants they want to find and exterminate, but i think they were caught off guard.

The same thing happened in 2021, they thought their brutality would keep things at bay but hamas fired rockets for sheikh jarrah and palestinians with Israeli citizenship in Lydda, Haifa, yaffa and so on rose up claiming their palestinian heritage. And since then occupation has intensified (more arrests, more invasions, more massacres). They think being more brutal will keep the status quo and if not, then whatever reaction they are looking for gives them pretext to be even worse. So I am contradicting myself here because I cannot predict why Israel does what it does, I just feel what a lot of palestinians are feeling and that is israel is at its end of its days.

That end will be violent. If this is israel at it's weakest, very unpopular at the world stage and over 4000 Palestinians murdered, then I am afraid what it will take to free palestine. I don't think it will happen with arab armies. I dont think a miracle will happen and iran will come to our aid. I think that israel is pushing all its power into subjugating palestinians and leaving its inside weak and weaker. I think israel will collapse into itself because their citizens don't feel safe. Their notions of security has collapsed. The boogeyman that was hamas is in its territory and the israeli regime, according to israeli news outlets, is working to evacuate cities near gaza. Which is unprecedented. These are insane times and this is my insane answer

please can you guys stop acting like bee wasn’t antiblack, or that her being rightfully angry about antisemitism means that it’s ok to be antiblack. i get it i get that she was hotheaded and emotional. i also get that she is not doing well mentally at all and that’s why she disappeared off tumblr as a result of the situation. i ALSO get that she read and re-read that post after writing it multiple times and went back and added to it and reblogged it a couple times to encourage people to also reblog it to spread it. i know this because i didn’t reblog it myself until about the 3rd time i saw it on my dash. there was ample opportunity for bee to see that her wording was messed up and if she didn’t mean it or miswrote what she meant to say, she could have removed it. whatever, that isn’t the situation at this point. the situation at this point is people know and accept that bee herself admitted she was being antiblack and apologised, but are now rallying some kind of a support group for her being like ‘we know you were antiblack and we don’t agree with that, but it’s ok because we know you didn’t mean it and we love you!’ THAT ISN’T YOUR PLACE. it’s not my place either but evidently you need someone to tell it to you like a dickhead because everyone affected has been way too fucking nice about it. like are you guys stupid? genuinely asking. because you’re starting to sound exactly like the twitter fans you keep mocking and disowning every day in your little screenshots you post on your blogs. racism sucks until it’s your friend, or your mutual, right? then it’s fine? because it’s your friend and you know them and they’re absolutely NOT racist, just in this instance, right? i’m closer to bee and laura than over half of you people on anon or throwaway blogs ever were btw ????? like im literally their friend???? or was supposed to be???? which is why i even expressed such disappointment @ laura and waited so so long for her to try and get back to me and try to tell her that it wasn’t ok to get so defensive????? to the point of her also being racist and antiblack???? but im not gonna stay silent abt it and pretend it’s not happening or defend them on main OR WORSE ON ANON LOL like not even owning what you say, to say things like ‘i know you were racist but i love you :(’ like cmon.... are you SERIOUS with this. hypothetical fights i want to see between the tot cast cuz it’d be fun to see how they’d fair in a fight to the death (just kidding. i mean a friendly fight as an appreciation of combat skills)

inspired by a convo i had with @samsspambox . i’d like to make it clear that when i say 'fight' here i mean a physical fight, a scuffle, some good ol fashioned "nothing personal just wanna see who would win" FISTICUFFS!!!!

with no weapons allowed, heres who i'd pay good money to see go at each other with only their unarmed martial expertise

The Battling Butler VS Agent Raven (aka ogier vs luke)

ogier is so badass. i love a fighty dude and hes dressed to the nines and he hilariously drags vyn every once in a while, whats not to love?

but yeah, clear in my memory is his combat prowess in vyn’s personal story 4. i dont know anything about ogier past that, but given that he was sent as a guard from svart by vyn’s father, i can only assume his training is of the royal guard quality type of level. thats intense!

though we also know luke is ALSO INSANELY INTENSE....

i think a spar between them would be really fucking close, irt who bests who. luke is NSB’s top agent, but i assume ogier is incredibly well trained also, youve gotta be Damn Good to be a guard of anyone remotely of royal importance

so like, what luke has got going in his favor is his NSB training obviously but also

luke has youth on his side

HSKJHFDKVJHGVSD HEAR ME OUT! aside from his illness, hes at the top of his game in terms of prime age range for physical peak, did u kno that the average age for olympic competitors is early 20s? well now u know. body can be in good shape at this point, thats a plus for him and a not-plus for ogier. idk how old ogier is (and i cant find out cuz he doesnt even have a Big Data Lab entry omfg the man the mystery the LEGEND) but he looks Older, a little past his prime. even skill cant negate the woes of aging.

buuuuuut ogier has a trump card: his training was probably completely different to anything luke is used to.

now we dont know very much about luke’s days in the NSB, but i get the impression that his work was Generally Within The Country Of Stellis OR Generally Handling People Who Are Stellans.

ogier is not a stellan. hes svartan. or svartish. or however the hell we decide to conjugate the nationality of svart. additionally, i can see it being a huge advantage for svartan guards to be keeping their training/fighting style under wraps. if opponents dont know how you’ll fight, u can catch em unaware

ogier’s fight style and tactics could be completely novel to luke, which would knock luke down a peg (both figuratively and metaphorically).

still, luke is adaptable and hes got a quick and intuitive mind. while he cant fight exactly like ogier, he’d be able to recover and figure out his own way of countering ogier’s attacks

with all that said, my personal verdict of who would win is.....//drumroll!!

nobody!

it’s a tie!

and luke enthusiastically brings ogier out for drinks later, he hasnt been tied in a match for years and hes kinda giddy about it!

(luke: you have to teach me some of your moves sometime, yeah?

ogier: of course. and perhaps you could encourage vyn to join this class as well? haha.

ogier: haha.

luke: hahaha.....no. im pretty sure vyn is capable of destroying me psychologically, im not making him do anything he doesnt wanna do, thanks.

The Battling Butler VS The Perplexingly Over-Capable Assistant (aka ogier vs vincent)

remember when luke in main story 7.2 said this in the case files?

yeah. YEAH IVE GOT MY EYE ON YOU, VINCENT KIM!!!

vincent’s investigative prowess aside, i just think it makes sense for vincent to have some kind of combat knowledge for the following reasons:

1) currently, marius has nearly gotten stabbed a total of three (3) times. while marius has his own self defense knowledge, i wouldnt put it past vincent to get some training in as well juuuuusssstt in case knife-magnet von hagen gets into hot water again.

2) it’s unexpected. vincent does not look the type to punch anybody in the face, and thus i want him to be capable of a mean right hook

3) if nobody expects u to throw a punch, that punch can land way easier.

that being said, i dont think he’ll beat ogier at all. my view is that vincent took some classes and that his self defense training is a little bit above marius’ skill level, but it’s nothing that can go against a trained royal bodyguard

still, ogier can be caught unaware. vincent maybe gets like a few hits in before ogier takes him down

so my verdict is: ogier would win but would be very impressed by vincent for managing to fool him

ogier: hm. i think that adds points for you, actually)

i just think theyre hilariously pathetic and i wanna see them fight in a hilariously pathetic way, like the one scene in Bridget Jones’ Diary

maybe whoever loses has to be the one to face mc in court next, and neither of them wanna be the poor shmuck to have to get annihilated by her again

my verdict: ingrid has to break the fight up (which is happening in the baldr legal office lobby) and everybody involved loses. everybody loses their dignity
