As serious as Dove likes to pretend to be, I also want to show just how slightly unhinged her actions can seem to others. What she does may make sense in her mind, but sometimes all the others can do is watch as they struggle to comprehend her train of thought. She can also just be plain petty, but that's already very obvious.
Anyway, a good example of her behaviour is when the group meets Sandy!
Dove Masterlist:
Dive
“These Flowing-Sand metes, eight hundred wide; These Weak Waters, three thousand deep. A goose feather cannot stay afloat; A rush petal will sink to the bottom.”
Tripitaka reads aloud the stone slab on the shore of the river. Is this really the Flowing-Sand river? You thought it’d take you longer to get here, though not much has happened since your group’s encounter with that tiger and wind demon about a month ago. “I remember this place, from when I last travelled with my own master, Guan Yin.”
“Really?” Tripitaka turns to you. “Do you know of any way to cros–”
Just as he spoke, a figure leapt from the waters, a recognizable blur of indigo and red charging towards the group. Before you can mumble a word, you feel yourself being tugged back alongside Tripitaka. Zhu Bajie runs to meet the challenger, raising his rake high before bringing it down on the newcomer but before you can see anything else, Wukong drags you and Tripitaka away from the confrontation.
The moment he drops the two of you, you slap his hand away. “What do you think you’re doing?!”
“Saving your life. Keep Master safe, we’ll be right back.” The Monkey King didn’t give you time to retort before taking his needle-sized staff and extending it in his hands.
“Wait! That demon…!” The sage is already bounding towards the fight before you can trail off. Is it so hard to just listen?! With a quick exhale, you turn to the monk instead. “Follow me.”
“…Pardon?” Tripitaka frowns, more out of confusement than anything else. “But that’s where Sun WUkong and Zhu Bajie are fighting the demon.”
“I can explain everything in a moment but for now, I just ask that you trust me.” Tripitaka could stay further back and wait as well, though there was no real danger at the riverside.
With how quickly Sun Wukong sped you away, it took a bit of time to return to the riverbank. It was just as you reached the waters that the two disciples came into view, their opponent nowhere to be found. The closer you get, the more you can hear the two as they bicker.
“If you just waited, I could have worn him down enough to deliver the final blow!” Pigsy huffs, pointing accusingly with his rake to the Monkey King.
The King rolls his eyes, his arms crossed as he argues back. “How could you have expected me to wait? It isn’t my fault he was so intimidated by me.” As you approach the two with their master, the sage quickly straightens his posture, turning before you can even announce your presence. You’ve noticed him do this quite often, him and Pigsy both. Though, the latter never reacts to your presence in the same way. Perhaps it has less to do with them being demons that can feel your power and more that you could manage to get along with one and the other, well…. “What are you doing back here?! I told you to keep Master safe.”
“That is what I’m doing, now where is the river demon?” You question, looking between the two disciples.
“The moment he saw Brother Sun charging at us, he turned and fled back into the river.” Bajie explains, and you sigh in frustration. This could have been easier if that demon didn’t announce his presence by charging at your group. What did he have to gain by attacking anyone that passed by the river?!
The Monkey King quickly steps in before Tripitaka has the chance to voice any of his concerns. “You don’t have to worry, Master. We were just devising a plan to finish the demon off quickly so we can cross the river. You see, despite my skill, I am not the best at combat in the water. Fortunately though, Bajie is adequate enough to pull off what we want to do…”
You don’t wait for him to finish. You don’t even bother interrupting, it would just waste time to argue with him. Instead, as the sage explains his plan with Pigsy to their master, you set your bow and quiver down on the ground. Transforming, you begin to ascend, flying over the stretch of water. It only takes you a few moments before you find yourself at an appropriate height above the river.
Zhu Bajie is the first to look back and spot you, his eyes narrowed and confused. “Brother Sun?” The demon nudges his fellow disciple, gaze focused on the sight before him.
Wukong is quick to give him an irritated glance. “What is it, Idiot?”
“The woman is about to dive.”
It’s almost as if the pebble of realisation skips over his mind for a moment before sinking in. “What?!”
“Sha Wujing! Surface and face your master!” By the time the other two men turn around to join Pigsy in looking upwards, you’ve already transformed back, shouting before plunging into the river’s murky depths.
The three can only stand there, staring at where their companion had been just a fraction of a moment ago. Even the dragon-horse stares at the point where you disappeared into the water. However, your absence isn’t long, and when resurfacing, they find you with the very demon who had attacked just a few minutes before. Sun Wukong is the first to move, ready to jump into action.
That is, until the demon lets out a hearty laugh. “Ah, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me! You really are the dove that accompanied the Bodhisattva Guan Yin.”
“Yes, I am glad you remember me.” You nod before nodding in gesture to your fellow travellers ashore. “However, I am now travelling with your master and his other disciples, the one you were instructed to wait for. The same men you so shamelessly tried to attack earlier.”
The demon looks back to the others on the shoreline, their confusion shared amongst their expressions, his brows shooting up in worry. “Oh! I see. Forgive me, young one. I hadn’t realised you were all so close, I’ve been waiting for so long.” He chuckles, almost bashfully, like the misunderstanding was nothing more than a simple mistake.
“Why don’t we go back and you can apologise to the monk yourself.” You suggest, and the sand-demon nods.
Together, you swim back towards your companions waiting on the shore. As you hobble back onto land, looking like a drowned rat, you’re greeted by the other men with silence. Now, finally holding their attention captive, you explain. “Tripitaka, I would like you to meet your fourth and final disciple, Sha Wujing.”
“Fourth?” Pigsy echoes, and with the silence broken, Monkey interjects.
“Why in the world would you attack us?! Why didn’t you say anything??” He points to you, twisting and squeezing the water from your clothes.
You laugh at his almost exasperated tone. “I’d explain that I tried, but you are the one person in the world incapable of understanding how frustrating it can be to get through to that thick skull of yours.” A semblance of a chuckle comes from Tripitaka, and it takes a good amount of self control not to laugh aloud at the outright look of offence on Wukong’s face when he turns to face his master.
Wujing clears his throat to grab hold of their attention once more. “I would like to apologise, Master. If I had known you were the scripture pilgrim, I would not have attacked you.”
“Wait a moment, why would you say fourth?” Bajie interjects, still stuck on your earlier statement.. “Sun Wukong and I are master’s only other disciples.”
Tripitaka is the one to answer in your place, patting the side of the horse gently. “You forget Ao Lie, he joined us just before you did.”
“…The horse?!”
“Actually, he’s a dragon.”
“…” He doesn’t say anything, though the expression of unfiltered befuddlement says all you need to know.

Will the green team try to marry the little dove and aemond before rhaenyra and daemon return to king's landing?
they would know that if daemon and rhaenyra find out about their engagement, they will most likely try to convince viserys to marry the little dove to jacaerys, and since viserys is capable of doing it, they would surely try to rush everything.
alicent will pass it off as her eagerness to see her lovely daughter married but yes, by time rhaenyra and daemon return to king's landing, little dove and aemond are already married and depending on the timing, they either already have a child or little dove is pregnant.
it sends rhaenyra into a fit of rage, her daughter. she was meant for jacaerys but it's aemond who is her husband.
its alicent's triumph and to see you happy softens her heart. aemond is a good husband, he's loving and sweet, towards you but he's also extremely jealous.

Don't you get it, little dove? That you're mine, just mine all forever? Every breath, cell, every spark of life and drop of blood in you is all mine— and I'll gladly rip it all away if your gaze leaves my existence for even a second.

consider! (again) one more pa!reader thought and then I shall go. what if, in a very very far away reality, dove took the priscilla role for Sofia, say the real priscilla was only comfortable with dove playing her again and telling her story. oh the turmoil dove would go through :( it would be so difficult and complicated for austin and dove to navigate. (I'm sorry for the depressing vibes)
before i answer this, to everyone reading know that i am not interested in priscilla discourse because my views on priscilla have been clear from my beginnings in this fandom. y'all do you, and i do me and respect that i can love e and lisa with all my heart but still enjoy priscilla as a person. everyone is allowed to make mistakes, elvis, priscilla and lisa, alright? i don't give anyone different treatment i don't give others. also i swear on my life the sir being who he is was legit a thing from the beginning and not me trying to capitalize on the priscilla movie or anything.
consider anon that in my notes guess who's been sir from the beginning as a joke? (apologies for the gif, but ever since the casting was announced way back in the day i still find it hilarious, at least i'm hiding it under a cut lol). and never apologize for depressing vibes. i always am a sucker for angst/depression vibes.
Tumblr media
i mean i wasn't kidding once upon a time about kaia and dove sharing the same man twice. anyway!
Tumblr media
so i want you to consider dove who at this point is with austin trying to navigate their whole lives and the still faintly residual character bleed. and like she doesn't want to say no to priscilla because god knows she loves the woman and wants to do right by her and her story and the way she thinks sofia will explore it. but having to play opposite one of her exes. specifically one that wasn't bad necessarily but the only one who was actually her boyfriend and only her boyfriend. ( minus his...uh cheating elements. )
so consider she says yes, against her better judgment and she has to reassure austin nothing is going to happen because she's with him. he is her daddy, her elvis, her everything. jacob's in the past and it's not like it's papi or anything. but god, dove would be a mess internally because here she is acting opposite of jacob and once upon a time she was a bit in love with him. and jacob isn't necessarily cruel to her but he does at least make her remember this is why they broke things off. are they both a little older? yeah. but is jacob still the same guy she broke things off with? also yeah.
the true silver lining is just how short the filming is, because while it does still mess up dove something fierce mentally ( and truthfully, her therapist had advised against it ) it's also far more contained than the elvis shooting was. austin ends up visiting once or twice in the tiny time that shooting happens and is a bit more possessive than he normally is which is not necessarily healthy even if it's understandable.
but honestly, it doesn't send her into as much of a tailspin as she thought it would. she had been so prepared to have to be on the phone with her therapist every day and with austin needing to remind herself who she was! and now she just does her normal weekly check ins and- well she still calls austin every day but ya know, that's because he's daddy.

No, I did not jump to the pregnancy chapter. The title is misleading, and I apologize for that.
Dove Masterlist:
Babies??
The gentle breeze brushes through the air, accompanying the sun westward as it carries on its descent toward the horizon. Golden hour approaches with pheasants flying overhead, returning to their nests. Clouds grazing the mountaintops are soft shades of pink and orange. The mountain itself is littered in dashes of colour from a thousand flowers and a vibrant green from the lush grass coating its earthy base. The world feels as though it is in blossom, though it might help that your group is spending the night at a temple in the Abbey of Five Villages.
While away for the night, the Abbey is home to a daoist known as the Lord Equal to Earth, Zhenyuan. You’ve never met him, but know enough from the occasional gossip in the Jade Palace that he is a respected figure. Already aware that your companions would be arriving, he had two of his disciples stay behind to host. While the others settled in, you accompanied Sandy in making sure the horse was properly fed. It also gave an excuse for you to gaze out over the beautiful land of the Abbey.
It also helps that you find Sha Wujing the easiest to get along with out of Tripitaka’s disciples. He’s much less boorish, more open to peaceful conversation without jabs or insults. Though, you suppose you were no better at times. “I have to admit, it is nice being off the road, even if it is only for tonight.” The sand demon hums as he guides the horse to his meal.
You nod with a smile, your sight trained on the beauty of land before you. “I agree. If we were not on our journey, it would be nice to stay longer. Looking at this view, I’m reminded of home.”
At this, the buddhist turns to you. “Where is it you come from, little soother?”
The two of you begin to head back inside the temple. “I’ve lived most of my life on the Potalaka Mountain with my master, Guan Yin. There’s a village not far from her home I would visit quite frequently.”
“Is that where you are from?” He questions, and you shake your head.
“No, my first home was burnt down when I was only a child. My master found me in the wreckage of my family’s home and gifted me with a second chance.” You explain, your companion humming in acknowledgement.
“That is a beautiful story.” He smiles, which affirms his friendly nature, despite the sharpened teeth.
You walk through the silent halls together, your steps echoing through empty halls. “Indeed, I owe everything to her.” The talk reminds you of how much you missed her, and everyone from before your trip to the heavens. Guan Yin, Moksa, all of those from the village who have now passed. But there was no point in dwelling on it. What’s past is past, and now you have but one goal. Get the Tang Monk to the west.
A blur of ochre flashes down the hall ahead, quickly returning to reveal itself as Sun Wukong. His face brightens up at the sight of his brother disciple, the stone monkey approaching rapidly once catching sight of Wujing. “Sandy, I’ve been looking for you!”
“Hello, Sun Pilgrim.” The man greets him. Monkey looks as though he’s about to say something, but stops himself when he glances at you. The bright look in his eye is quickly snuffed out and replaced by a rather bored look.
“…What?”
“I need to speak with my fellow disciple. Alone.” Your eyes roll, unsure of what you were actually expecting. “Go ahead. I’ll talk to you later, Wujing.” Not having to be told twice, you say your goodbyes to the sand demon and continue through the halls of the temple on your own.
“Of course, thank you for your help.” He calls back before you disappear around the corner Monkey came from. Whatever he needed to talk to Wujing about, you can’t find it in yourself to care. As long as they don’t cause a disturbance, it should be fine. Besides, Sandy seems quite reasonable, you doubt he’d go along with anything Sun Wukong suggests.
You soon find yourself in the main hall, Tripitaka sitting at one of the tables ahead of you. He’s massaging his temples, his eyes wide and confused until they notice your presence. “Ah! There you are! You won’t believe what just happened.” He quickly rises from his seat as you approach.
It’s rare to see the monk so highly energetic, it’s as though he’s bursting at the seams. It’d be a lie to say you aren’t curious over what could make him react in such a way. “What is it?”
As you reach the man, his hands clutch onto your arms. “Our hosts tried to feed me infants!”
You pause, the statement taking a moment for you to process. Is this some jest? “Infants? As in, human children?”
“They could not have been more than three days old!” He exclaims as you sit him back down at the table, joining him as he continues to hold onto your arms in disbelief.
Offering a buddhist monk a child to eat? Surely they haven’t mistaken Tripitaka to be some demon like his disciples, even they follow a strictly vegetarian diet. “What did you say?”
“I told them to bring the children back to their parents, what else could I have said in that situation?!” He asks. “‘Mm, how delicious, two babies?’”
Despite the distress in his voice, you can’t help but let a chuckle escape. “Surely they would not expect that of you.”
“They insisted they were grown on trees!” Yes, that does sound odd. However, the description does scratch at a particular itch in your head. You’re certain this sounds like something you’ve heard of before, but the answer escapes you in the moment.
“Perhaps I could ask the two to explain themselves?” You shrug, the monk finally releasing you from his grip.
He releases a drawn-out sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. “It’s alright, I can ask myself when we gather for the rice. After everything we’ve experienced on the road, I was just looking forward to some normalcy for the night. It only took me by surprise, that is all.”
You place your hand on his shoulder in comfort, offering up a smile. “I’m not sure I would act any different if I were in your shoes.” You let out a soft laugh before looking around the space. A thought strikes you at that moment. “Where’s Bajie? I haven’t seen him since we arrived.”
The monk hums for a moment in thought. “The last I saw him, he was in a hurry to find Wukong.” Oh, really?
A sinking feeling worms its way into your gut. Should you have been more worried about Monkey and Sandy? What does Pigsy need that ape for? Something feels off. “I should go ahead and make sure they’re not getting into any trouble.”
You rise to leave and the monk shakes his head. “I’m sure they’ll be fine. My disciples should know not to cause any disturbances while we’re here.” He reassures you, but it doesn’t help the worry settle in your stomach
“I will feel better once I check for myself.” You quickly nod to Tripitaka before leaving the main hall.
You head towards the area you left Wujing and Wukong at last, mentally preparing yourself for whatever you may find. They can’t have gotten into too much trouble, right? It’s only been a few hours since your group has been here, they can’t have done anything too outlandish. Not yet, at least.
It takes some time before you are able to find them, the three demons huddled together at the end of a hall. They talk to one another in hushed whispers, like children plotting with one another. The sight did little to comfort your concerns.
Monkey is the first to notice your presence, his back straightening before turning to face you. “Hello, Dove.” His tone is casual, contrasting heavily against the wide-eyed faces behind him.
“Wukong.” The two on either side of him straighten up as well, turning to address you like their elder brother. You eye each of them in suspicion, it looks like you were right to be worried after all. “What have you three been up to?”
The stone demon shrugs casually, his posture relaxed despite the sharp look in his eyes. “Not much, we just returned from marvelling at the beautiful gardens they have here. You should go see for yourself.”
How stupid does he think you are? Or maybe he just doesn’t care enough to properly lie. “Oh, I suppose I could later. I just wanted to make sure the three of you weren’t getting into any trouble.” Your eyes shoot to Bajie, then Wujing, neither offering you eye contact.
“Trouble?” Wukong laughs, drawing your attention back to him. “Of what kind?”
Even you had to admit, it was impressive just how smarmy this man can get. Nevertheless, you play along. If he wants to play this game, you’ll play. Stepping closer, you narrow the gap between the two of you, a smirk finding its way on your face. “I wouldn’t know. But someone ought to remind you that your actions here reflect on Tripitaka. So if you mess anything up,” grabbing onto his shirt, you tug him close enough for you to whisper, “you will have a lot more to worry about than that gold around your head.” You almost miss the wide-eyed look of shock on his face before masking it with a grin of his own. “I’m impressed, Dove. Trying to threaten an immortal being, with what? Your pointy little sticks?” He laughs, his voice low.
The assumption makes your smirk drop. “I’m not threatening you with pain.” Your eyes narrow as he does the same. “It’s a warning. This temple belongs to Zhenyuan, and I’ve heard enough about how he carries out justice on those who have done wrong unto him.”
“You think some immortal scares me? Don’t forget, woman, I’ve taken on entire armies single-handed.” A single brow raises as he gloats, and you let out a huff of air at his words.
There truly is nobody as self-absorbed as the Monkey King. “Then you shouldn’t forget what I said. Your actions reflect on Tripitaka. Whether or not you can take punishment won’t matter if the monk is the one in the crossfire.” You warn, and for a moment you see his prideful facade falter.
With the message thoroughly received, you release the demon from your hold. Your graceful smile returns as you look back to Pigsy and Sandy. “Now, I think I will take a look around those gardens you speak so highly of. I’m glad we’ve come to an understanding.” With everything that needed to be said now dealt with you turn to leave.
That is, until Sandy clears his throat.
“Little Soother… say something has already happened.” Your head whips around at that, and you see Wukong has done the same, his hands moving frantically in a motion to stop.
You knew it. “Like what?” “Disciples!”
Tripitaka’s voice carries through the halls, your face dropping as you realise whatever they’ve done has already reached its way to their master– and likely, your hosts.

Otto accompanied her to help her down some books and recommend others and as soon as she turned around the little dove hid, he obviously knows where she is because he heard her small and hasty footsteps, he can also hear her cute laugh. But Grandpa Otto humors him and pretends to look for her, until he finds her and little Lise throws herself into her arms.

"Grandpa will always find you." Otto assures his granddaughter, brushing her white hair back. "No matter how far away our lise is, we will always be there for you."
years later, locked away in dragonstone, little lisenya targaryen prays in the room her sister has locked her in. Despite her marriage for aemond, they wish for her to marry jace. "Please, grandpa. Find little lise." She mutters to herself, looking up at the moon.
