Fashion ask: I just know Aenys would wear Dumbledore like cloaks. Light blue and covered in stars, faded purple/lilac with the constellations, silver to match with his dragon. Maegor would obvi only wear black and red. My girl Rowan def is a pastel girly but dark green looks gorge with her hair.

Scanned a page of my sketchbook where I had tried some painterly potatoes from reference using a gouache base, neocolours and a couple oil pastels and coloured pencils on top. Centred the composition, cleaned up the background n edges n shadows, mucked with the colours a little, all in fresco to end up w this. Was v v fun to do.

I made an OC! It’s been such a long time 😭

But Clone Wars got me good and I wanted to make a character and so I did and I ended up making up a race so I could come up with the customs and traditions of her people

Anyways her name is Artei-Ka Aun’touva (pronounced Artica On-Too-Vah) and I haven’t figured out the name of her people or her planet yet

I have a whole thing planned out in my brain tho

But basically the rough ideas I have now are:

Droids come to her planet and start attacking, so clones are deployed and such

And this one clone named Cypher (he’s good with codes and the like) saves her life, but ends up getting killed

As a tribute to this clone, she buries him in the traditional outfit of her people and saves his armour and wears it

In her culture, if someone gives their life for you, you basically then live your life in memory of that person, trying to do good for other like they did for you

So she wears his armour and continues on with her Jedi stuff

Her culture is based around cultures where family and honour is a big part of life, and so she kind of just ignores the “no attachments” Jedi thing ((let’s be honest a lot of Jedi kind of ignore that-)) because connections to other people is vital to who her people are

And now she has this almost spiritual connection to this clone who saved her life because that’s how her people view that sort of sacrifice

Anyways she got the purple markings on her face after the incident with Cypher because markings representing an important focus of your life is a thing for her people and hers represent the tragedies she has been a part of

She paints purple on his armour and helmet (the blue markings were his markings)

She finds his squadron (titled the Midnight Squadron), who find it really admirable what she has done for their fallen brother

And now since she is trying to live her life in his memory, she hangs out with his squadron and it’s like a found family kind of thing because I love that trope and she refers to them as her brothers

Also her lightsaber is like that because I think lightsabers should be shaped like different normal sword shapes cuz I think that is cool haha

The first two drawings are her more finalized design, whereas the third drawing was the concept page from when I was making her up and so it’s not entirely accurate

Oblivion did such a great job with its UI, the choice of fonts was phenomenal, the constant presence of kingthings petrock as subtitles and as the player's journal evoking medieval books, the quest updates framed with floral ornaments that look right out of manuscripts, the little icons tied to specific quests and questlines and the different crests that appear in your log to signify your rank in different factions
