Going back to the Inner Flame BS for a moment-

Okay. So, in The Overthinkers, it is revealed that Candle has telekinesis and uses it throughout the season (I mean, look at that fight scene in the latest episode), as well as telepathy and flight.

In A Jury Of Your Own Fears, Silver gains flight and telepathy as well, however... he doesn't have telekinesis. He has super strength instead, as seen in the previous episode, The Show Must Go On. What's even weirder is the fact that Candle has a third eye that she uses to see people's auras (*pointing hard at her EXIT Interview*) and Silver does NOT have this eye in the latest episode.

It is also true that everyone pretty much has an Inner Flame; they just haven't awakened it yet. While I have no questions about the eye, I have a few interesting questions.

Question 1: Does the power you get when you awaken your Inner Flame depend on your aura color?

And if so, Question 2: What are the other powers that you can get depending on the aura?

We know the flame color is not going to be the exact color as your aura. Candle's aura is blue, yet her flame color is purple in Inner-Flame form. Silver Spoon's aura is purple, however his flame color is green in Inner-Flame form.

So, Question 3: Is your flame color decided by anything such as personality, actions, views, or some psychological or mental thing? Silver's flame is green, and my mind immediately thought of the sin of Greed. And... yeah, I can see if this is correct. Silver's greedy for winning and taking the lead.

And following up the psychological question is Question 4, the most concerning question: How aggressive can your Inner Flame get? Because if it can literally CANCEL OUT ANOTHER INNER FLAME, then it might be more dangerous than Candle implied.

Finally, I'm still holding out on this question, Question 5: How exactly do you even find your Inner Flame? Do you meditate, do you have to befriend someone who's already awakened their Inner Flame? Do you just... have to be a better person? I'd assume that if EVERYONE has an Inner Flame that there have been evil people in the past using it for evil duties.

I am gonna point to @infinite-ticking-clock37's theory on how eyes work, and that I pretty much agree that, in order to gain a third eye you have to learn to control your Inner Flame. So I have no questions on the third eye.

And yes, that IS baby William.

Anyways this is Jay Afton, William's dad's younger brother. He owns a pub/resturant and can be kind of a shark in terms of business, but he's a pretty decent person otherwise. William lived with him for a few years in his teens after leaving home, but he died very suddenly of an unexpected cardiac problem that went unexplained due to the fact that it was the 1960s. (The reason they're dressed like it's a few decades earlier is because Jay thought formality would drum up business.)

I also need everyone to know that this man is literally over seven feet tall.

William definitely copied a lot of his traits, but Jay was more of a direct confidence than a subtle manipulation type. Think of a very forward salesman. He also wasn't interested in, like... murder.

It's notable that, growing up, his older brother treated him poorly, which contributed to him not being brave enough to step in on William's behalf, but also to him not trusting his brother with a child in the first place. Cycles.

Watched Disney's Tarzan again and Jane is so autistic. The hyperfixating and the stimmimg and the whole thing with the hands. How she remembers things with her hands! And she barely ever makes eye contact with anybody, except: if it's her dad, Tarzan, or if she's mad.

And how she goes on rants and tangents and doesn't often manage to get an entire sentence out without taking time to make a funny noise or wave her hands around!

And how she doesn't use much of a filter and always just sorta says things! Not rude but just.. open!

And her dad gets it perfectly because he's both seen her grow up and probably is also autistic and knows TM, and Tarzan gets it because those are also animal things (read: how he was raised) and those are the two characters she connects with more than anybody.

And specifically this thing she does! Where she and Tarzan take turns looking directly at each other. While she's looking at him, he's looking at the ground and vice versa, and it switches back and forth every other sentence or so! With split second bits of eye contact to make sure the other is still invested without making them uncomfortable! Which is something me and my autistic friends do!

And they only make extended, direct eye contact when they're touching hands! Grounded, understanding!

You ever think about how lucky the Sonic universe is that Tails is a good guy?

Think about it. His IQ is exactly equal to Eggman’s, and he’s proven himself in multiple continuities to be just as capable with machines and even robots.

In addition, he’s been friends with Sonic longer than anyone else, with the possible exception of Amy going by Origins. He knows more about Sonic, and most of his friends, than probably any other character does. And many of those friends started out as enemies. There is reason for him not to entirely trust them. Or even the ones he’s fully chummy with.

What are the odds, do you think, that Tails might have taken a page out of Batman’s book? That he might have contingency plans for what to do if each of his friends goes rogue? That he might know exactly how to counter or neutralize their powers and skills?

And have we SEEN a truly evil Tails?

You’ve got Scourge’s Miles, who is supposedly the real leader of the Suppression Squad, but he’s hampered by his fear of Scourge, not to mention he started out as a mirror of Archie Tails when he was more like his SatAM counterpart, not quite the genius we know. He never got the chance to prove who he could truly be as a villain before... you know.

You’d expect Kit to be a mirror of Tails, a potential evil genius, but no. Starline completely ignored Tails’ own genius for the “sidekick” role, boiling characters down to stereotypes is his entire thing. The kid is not only not a real techie, but has no drive for evil of his own, and wouldn’t hurt a fly if Surge stopped telling him to.

Nine was billed as “Evil Tails” by some preview channels, and his backstory is that of a villain, but he’s just trying to survive, and we know he’s gonna get “redeemed” by his friendship with Sonic and the others.

But a real evil Tails? Fully independent, with fully malicious intent?

I’m convinced that if game canon Tails just spontaneously decided “I should take over the world,” he’d do it. He’d do it in weeks, if not days. He’d hijack the Eggman Empire and make its forces his own easily. He’d know exactly how to defeat all the heroes. He’d turn Sonic’s love for his brother, his former friends’ unbreakable trust in him, into their greatest weakness of all time. He’d know they couldn't hurt him. He’d know they’d be too busy trying to “snap him out of it” to actually fight back against his conquest.

He could destroy them all. It would be easy for him.
