so, Team CFVY and STRQ switch together, right?
Yup!
Summer (now with the surname Bloom) is the meek Faunus with the hidden badass side.
Taiyang (now with the surname Mingliang) is the strong yet mostly silent type with a heart of gold.
Raven is the thought-to-be-blind fighter with apparently unending love for her teammates.
And Qrow is the fashion-forward heavy hitter we all know and love.

1. So, considering the fact that Oscar (in your au) got destroyed by Hazel, how does that work? 2. How does Hazel died? 3. Does Coco drink like Qrow did in canon? 4. Does Weiss and Jaune team up? 5. Does Cinder have siblings like Jaune in canon?
1. It’s a lot more complicated than it is in canon. Since Blake doesn’t have Em’s Semblance, she ends up firing a smoke bullet into the arena in the middle of Hazel and Oscar’s match (she does this with Merc and Yang too). In the midst of the commotion, Hazel panics and, with Oscar being the only thing moving in the smoke except him, sends out a powerful surge of electric energy from the Dust stabbed into his arms. This forces Oscar to short circuit and his wiring rips him apart from the inside out.
2. Hazel is killed by Jaune. After a particularly ferocious battle of Jaune using golden energy in balls and beams to combat Hazel’s spears and daggers made of Dust crystal, Hazel ends up disarmed with no Aura and no Semblance, so for the first time in ages he’s feeling pain when Jaune’s energy stabs into his back and the sword kills him with a stab through the heart.
3. She does! It’s less than Qrow and it’s mostly wine or champagne in her flask, but her most defining trait according to Whitley is “distracted”, seeing as she’s very vain and looks at herself in a pocket mirror more than she drinks.
4. When it comes to V6 and V7, yes.
5. She certainly does, thought they’re not biologically related. Ironwood’s track record of taking in orphans then ... disposing of them when he doesn’t see any use means people in Atlas, Mantle and Argus are careful to adopt any children before he can get to them. Cinder was one, and so were her siblings - one of them being Bartholomew Oobleck.
