I got a mug that has poppies and lilacs on it so here's a lil desert duo to celebrate :)

I got it from TJ Maxx but I think it's called the "Red Poppies Garden Coffee Mug" By Grace Teaware if you're interested.

I'm also not completely sure those are lilacs but they're purple so let me have this.

sometimes i will be just scrolling my dash and suddenly be struck with just like. how much the fandom has grown. these days a 1k note post is nothing in hermitblr but when i joined the fandom that was like. the peak amount of notes a hermitcraft post could possibly ever get. and these days people can get 6-10k notes on a piece without it even containment breaching

#of course. this will be more of a stark difference for those who have been here even longer than i have #but i remember like. maxx doodle's drawings being like Big Note Posts and they'd be like. 1k notes #which--i still think getting a 1k note post is a high number it's just far far easier these days lol

My daring sequel to berries three ways....lemons four ways!

Did these for a little online graphic design course I never finished. But I really love how the typography and pixel one came out. I drew all these with a laptop touchpad at my old desk job :3

inventing a new study aesthetic called "dork academia" where anything goes, no matter how silly - silliness is actually encouraged - as long as it makes your studying experience more fun and/or productive! Here are some of my personal examples:

I got notepads and binders that are size A5 instead of the normal (larger) A4 format. Why? Because they fit in my favorite messenger bag and also small things are fun. (Plus lecture hall desks can be tiny as heck.)

Got homework? I put sticky notes with the individual tasks on fun-size treats in an effort to dog-train myself into voluntarily doing homework.

I make my personal study notes as entertaining as possible by adding puns and doodles in the margins.

Cute/silly stationery. It doesn't have to be Mildliners or other expensive things. My current faves include glitter gel pens, Halloween washi tape, peanut-shaped erasers, and a gaudy-ass ballpoint pen - all courtesy of discount shops and TK Maxx.

Feel free to add your own "dork academia" things!! I'd love to hear them.

I have been collating ideas for where all the Lifers have their fragments in the Eyes and Ears AU for a while. When there’s 60 something fragments to mention across all the Lifers it’s taking a while. I’m working my way through the seasons from Winner to looser and am currently on Last Life Cleo.

But anyway, I saw Impulse’s new Hermitcraft Skin with some art you can see here (https://www.tumblr.com/maxx-doodles/742230355130597376/i-hope-everyone-likes-impulses-new-cyberpunk)

And the purple lines on his forearms and forehead made me think of the Fragments from Martyn’s Eyes and Ears AU. And it made me think, since we don’t know for sure where Impulse’s fragments are. Perhaps the trauma of being the first to die in Demise brought up the memories of the Life Series and allowed us to see his fragments on him. Perhaps those purple lines on him are actually his fragments.

That’s just my little headcanon anyway. Wondered if anyone else thought similarly.
