So I've been thinking about this ever since Gem posted the colors and hearts and honestly I will be very curious to see if she ends up in Traffic Season 5 and more importantly how she plays... I remember she talked about how she thought it would be super stressful to be in "improv brain" all the time, and I get that and I hope she has fun.

Martyn's also talked about how he tries to go out of his way to set traps or go for flashy kills instead of PVP, saying that he considers himself on the upper end of PVP skills, but he feels like the traps and the flair are more unique for the Life series and he wants to create something that's interesting and flashy to watch (and/or give others more of a fighting chance against him).

I'm not sure if the other creators make an effort to prefer traps - I just know they scaled back OP arrows and enchantments after 3rd Life - but since Gem's set up as someone with a powerful PVP reputation, I'm interested to see if she sticks to what she knows or if she experiments with traps... and how that might impact potential alliances.

Do you dare base with a powerful person who doesn't have the years of established social protocol, and therefore might whip out the skills and slay you for the bit??

I remember her putting in the grind to get diamonds when she was possessing Cleo, and Bdubs seemed a little surprised that she would spend her screen time on that (or at least that was my interpretation)... Is Gem super competitive and will she stock up on trap materials, putting in the grind for resources?? Will she successfully get stuff or will she be pressed for time?

I've seen her in SMPs where you can take your time with the grind and you enjoy plentiful resources, but in the Life series, everything from time to resources to space is super limited. Gotta wow the crowd so spending episodes mining would be risky. What will she do?? idk but this will be interesting

about the craft au, why do cbench stay in the facility instead of leaving? Do they ever split up and if so why?

they want to leave, trust me, they do! but, you see– they've fallen down, henry-batim style. perhaps they investigate some weird door in the proper workshop, and end up falling down into the pocket dimension or whatever the place is. so, they're searching for an exit, a way to escape– and hoping the monsters don't catch them before they find it.

i imagine the trio don't like splitting up– they prefer staying together, easier to defend themselves. and if they really do need to split, it's only for a short time.

...there is one time one of them splits off from the rest for a little too long, though. :3c

#my art #wilbur soot #ycgma #your city gave me asthma #i gushed about this album already on the original post's tags but like.. it really does mean so much to me #these are my 'final' thumbnails but i spent such a long time trying to get this set how i wanted it #because i wanted to do some justice to this music that impacted me so much #i wanted to use red as a recurring symbol of stressors and/or the things he's blaming for his problems at the time #until he turns it inward #though in the final ones i shifted the palette to tell a bit more of a story rather than sticking strictly to the album's palette #anyway! some of these are pretty weak but others i still want to make into like.. idk. secondary versions of the final ones i decided on #i tried to have each one pretty clearly reference the song either through tone or lyrics or place in the story #struggled quite a bit with losing face surprisingly but also boris was a hard one #because my prof wanted it to serve as a perfect conclusion full circle for the album but he's still so conflicted in it #i think it works as a set though i tried to make it bookend with jubilee line #experimenting with posting mcyt related art on here and then reblogging it to my art blog instead idkkkkkk #these are gonna look so blurry on mobile im sorry LMAO #anyway love u byee
