Contexte

La Grande-Bretagne regorge de mythes et légendes. L'une d'elle est connue de tous et raconte les récits d'un roi ayant unis les royaumes qui composent ce pays. Il se nomme Arthur Pendragon. Les alliances se font rares, le pays est en proie à la terreur, la tyrannie, la guerre et la magie. Les nobles cherchent à s'enrichir tandis que les paysans à survivre.

De nombreuses épreuves se sont dressées sur son chemin afin qu'il devienne celui que l'on connaît aujourd'hui. Ses alliés et amis tels que son fidèle serviteur et protecteur, Merlin, Guenièvre ainsi que les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde l'ont soutenu et aidé dans sa quête à la recherche de la paix.

La vie a décidé de dresser sur son chemin des ennemis. Sa demi-soeur Morgane ne reculera devant rien pour obtenir ce qui lui revient de droit : le trône de Camelot. Alliant les saxons et toutes personnes ayant un différend avec son frère à sa cause, la Grande Prêtresse tente de s'infiltrer dans le royaume pour le faire tomber et le saisir.

Une guerre sans fin contre la magie fait rage. Certains veulent faire revenir les pratiques de l'Ancienne Religion à tout prix et useront de toutes leurs ressources pour le faire tandis que d'autres ne cherchent qu'à vivre en paix. La magie est toujours proscrite à Camelot et dans d'autres royaumes. Tous pratiquants surpris à en faire usage se verra envoyés au bûcher.

Nobles, chevaliers, magiciens ou magiciennes, mercenaires ou paysans, vous êtes l'auteur de cette histoire de légendes qui ne saurait s'écrire sans vous. Serez-vous du côté du mal, du bien ou neutre ?

you think you know a story but you only know how it ends. the battle between the last dragon and the demon of the trident ended with both their deaths, leaving wolves and stags to lick at their wounds while in the capital, the lions prowl around freely, blood slick on their blades. after the events at the trident and the murder of the mad king in the throne room, jaime lannister is crowned king by right of conquest ─ half of westeros is helpless to fight against the mighty lion that backs his reign and the other half is just relieved to be done with the war but peace is not to last with a dynasty built on the bodies of children and old men. rumors of a curse hounding the royal house of lannister remains prevalent, even one hundred years after the conquest, but the newly crowned king hopes to usher in a new dawn with the breaking of spring after a long winter, unaware of the dissent sown within his own house.

𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐅𝐌𝐒 is an alternate universe, original character roleplay set in 383 ac ─ one hundred years after robert's rebellion and the coronation of jaime i, the first lannister king of the seven kingdoms.

FANTASY ROLEPLAY WITH DRAGONS! im in. are there fae? or other species?

Thank you so much, sweet anon! To answer birefly - sort of, yes (fae inspired dragon riders anyone?)!

In detail: in terms of our playable 'humanoid' species, it's currently only humans (including the darksworn/corrupted kind), but that doesn't mean there may not be more in the future. Also, we just recently set up a queue for our lore previews and the Seldorai (our Dragon Riders) have pointed ears, increased strength, speed and extended lifespans. Very similar to fae/elves!

The roleplay is going to have a diverse bestiary, including gryphons, elementals, giants, goblins and so on... but we also have demonkind here too!

Any suggestions are more than welcome.

THE KING HAS DIED .

after a tumultuous fourty year reign, king edmund has passed away peacefully. he leaves behind only one heir, the missing princess drusilla. on her tenth name day, drusilla was stolen from her chambers while the king and queen slept. after weeks of searching and no luck, ( the black queen ) millicent turned to darker forces. she found an old witch and made a deal ; until her daughter is returned to her rightful throne, the realm would suffer. monsters and creatures from the ( other place ) would now walk freely amongst the men. the deal would require a sacrifice, so queen millicent gladly gave herself up to the witch.⠀⠀⠀⠀

with the queen and king dead, and no heir to step up, the realm is now divided. the advisors of the late king go back and forth between appointing a new king, but hesitate out of fear of the curse.

now, eleven years later, monsters have long since risen. they lurk in the shadows, under beds, even in your wardrobes. but, with the evil came some good. the faire folk and some witches have been trying to undo the curse. but alas, all blood sacrifices are sacred and near impossible to reverse.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

but . . . rumor has it that deep within the dark forest, theres a young lady who's awaiting her knight. the members of the kings guard have decided to take a team into the forest and bring back their rightful queen. will you help bring balance back to the realm , or will you add to it's chaos ?

#marcille donato #dungeon meshi #delicious in dungeon #dunmeshi #girl i dont know what tags are right.#deliart #normally i stay away from the fantasy medieval rpg etc aesthetic but this anime is nice so far ! felt a little refreshing.#i appreciate the textured linework in the anime. although as someone who also does that. i really felt the slight bleed on the colors #in some spots. i wanted to get in there to fix it soo bad in the beginning #textured linework requires a lot of effort to look clean.....but it looks lovely. seems difficult if u gotta color a whole animation #id do neat linework for this but i am base sketch pen for linework pilled rn. post more work less #got more serious wips currently but those are all on the backburner<3 sorrie.....

RivenWorld: The First Era is an open-world sandbox multiplayer medieval RPG game. One that also takes place on a cursed island off the coast of Europe. Explore a vast world either solo or with friends. Create your own destiny as you fight for your land, gather resources, and construct your own settlement. RivenWorld also features a needs system, so you’ll need to hunt or fish for food. While you attend to your needs as you go. This is a project the game’s creator, Zackary Pedersen, has always dreamt of being able to create. The RivenWorld: The First Era current building system is heavily inspired by Minecraft and 7 Days to Die. While allowing players to build using a “block-based system”. On top of that, the game features a “Runes” system which allows you to grow stronger. This means you will have to find unique runes placed at shrines throughout the world.

When you’re not collecting runes, you’ll be able to fight other players with a variety of melee weapons. You may even be able to claim the throne as king of the realms if you’re good enough. The RivenWorld: The First Era developers are currently seeking to raise $45,000 USD by February 17, 2023. Due to finalize the development of the game through their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. Along with plans to release the game in Q4 of 2023 on Steam. Consider backing the game to support their development on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Receive early access to their alpha build.
