Hundreds attended the shiva of IDF lone soldier, Sgt. First Class Meiron Moshe Gersch who was killed in Gaza.
At first almost nobody attended as people were not aware that he was a lone soldier and had no family in Israel so a post was made by top people on social media and just like that hundreds of Israelis arrived without hesitation to pay their respects.
This is the Israel I love!
May his memory be for a blessing

Recommending a Manhwa
I'll Be The Matriarch In This Life
Florentia is the main character. She's a reincarnated protagonist.
She was born to the third son of a noble family and a woman of no status who were not wed-ed.
This is a big point against her to her uncles and cousins.
Her dad died when she was 11 and she was forced to earn her keep.
When she was 19 her grandfather died expressing disappointment that he didn't know how business minded she was or he would have named her as his heir.
She was immediately kick out of the family and striped of her last name by her uncle upon her grandfather's death.
2 years later the family is in ruin. Completely broke and being executed for treason.
She was then killed by a horse drawn carriage and wakes up back in the body of her seven year old self.
Upon realizing this she decided that she was going to be the Matriarch of the family and save it from destruction.
As far as relationships:
There is a canon love interest and it is a cute relationship but there's a lot of interesting relationships with her family too.
Tia and her father Gallahan are amazing. I admit I don't ship it because it's very parental but that may change since he's now aware that something is going on with his daughter and she's older then she appears.
Then there's Tia and her Grandfather Rulac who Tia clearly adores. Because she's willing to let her name be taken from her and still work for her frankly abusive uncles. Just because her Grandfather loved the family so much.
Next is Tia and her aunt Shananet. Tia definitely thinks her aunt is amazing and Shananet has a spine of steel. Tia respects her aunt and Shananet respects Tia.
Finally we have Tia and her uncles. Laurels is pretty much a non entity. He only seems to kiss up to his older brother Viese. So I don't really have an opinion on the ship.
As for Tia and Viese. He hates her for having commoner blood and she hates for ruining the family. So it only works as hate sex.
I can kinda get behind the brothers Viese and Laurels having a relationship. Laurels is constantly trailing after Viese.
And I kinda like Gallahan and Shananet. Gallahan is very soft and Shananet is terrifyingly competent. She's also pushes Gallahan. Gallahan started a company in part because of something she said to him.
(The other reason being so Tia would have something to fall back on when he was dead.)
I suppose that Viese and Gallahan have some potential. The most recent chapter has Gallahan give Viese an aura that stops him in tracks and I'm curious to see where it goes.
Then there's the next gen.
The cousins Bellezac and Astalieu are similar to their fathers Viese and Laurels. With Bellezac being rude and judgemental like his father and Astalieu following Bellezac around and constantly agreeing with him.
There's the twins Gillio and Meiron, who are never seen without the other and are very loyal so I definitely see the appeal.
Tia and her cousin Bellezac would be unhealthy hate sex honestly considering they almost always end up in a fight when they see each other.
Tia with her cousin Astalieu might have potential since she did offer him some advice on separating himself from Bellezac.
Then there's Tia and her cousin Creni (Astalieu's younger brother). He's a bit young for shipping but the way he adores Tia makes me think he has a crush on her.
Then we have Tia and her cousin Larane. (The older sister of Bellezac.)
Honestly Tia makes some mention on how pretty Larane is every time we see them together. It's very cute.
And then finally my favorite ship Tia with her twin cousins Gillio and Meiron.
These boys are ride or die for Tia.
When Bellezac hurts Tia pretty seriously they break his arm and later corner and trip him in an empty hallway causing him to land on his broken arm before threatening to break his legs too.
Really how could I not ship that type of dedication?
A big family, yes! This sounds like a great rec, especially if you like multishipping within big families. I love all the sweet relationships, since so much went wrong with the family the first time around. A very interesting concept for the story.
Thank you for sharing this rec with us and giving us a lowdown on the ships!

Synagogue of Meron
Meron, Galilee, Israel
1st century CE
The building was 27 m long and about 13.5 m wide and was carved into the mountain. The northern wall of the synagogue is hewn and it is evident that it reached the height of the building. The building's foundation has holes as the foundation for the pillars pedestals which held the roof of the synagogue. The synagogue is aimed at Jerusalem, and is the longest found in the country of its kind so far. From all if its walls, mostly the southern wall survives, which had 3 openings: a central opening, with a cracked lintel, and another, which was restored. In the synagogue, the lintels and the cornices atop of them weren’t  decorated with reliefs. Zvi Ilan believes that this is the result of a trend not to over decorate the synagogue's decoration and not an evidence of the economic situation of the local residents, who have invested heavily in the synagogue's construction. The Holy Ark was probably near the main entrance, and no remains were found.
The establishment of the synagogue while investing a great deal in quarrying a building in a relatively large area indicates the great importance that the early residents of Meron gave to the synagogue.

Remembering Dafna Meir
On this day six years ago, a Palestinian Arab terrorist entered the home of Dafna Meir and stabbed her to death while she was painting the front door. Dafna acted like a true hero and wrestled with the terrorist in an effort to protect three of her children who were home during the attack.
Dafna saved lives everyday working as a nurse in the neurosurgery department of Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva.
She was a loving wife and mother to four biological children and two foster children.
May her memory be a blessing.
