Ok so how about some mer!bruce? most of the ideas are courtesy of @ivebeenghosting but they were kind enough to share them with me!
• Alfred is human and found Bruce clinging to his dead merparents on a beach. They were killed by poachers who were after their scales (very sought after in jewelry and cosmetics). He raised him and kept him safe and hidden and is basically the granpa of Bruce's brood.
• It all came crashing down when this guy who moved in the village only a few years ago came into town with his truck full of Bruce's merbabies, buying ALL the ice cream stocks of the local supermarket and going to the vet with a bloodied Dick (he got injured by yet another of Bruce's potential mate). Alfred is less than pleased.
• I personally would find it hysterical if Alfred can understand merlanguage perfectly (which consists of chirps, shrill sounds and screams) and the mers seem to understand him perfectly despite the fact he only speaks English. This is never addressed by anyone nor by the story.
• Lex and Clark are exes and have a son together (Connor). They worked together, Clark was a marine biologist but Lex got greedy and started his own lucrative but deeply unethical sea park thanks to Clark's research. The divorce got messy. Clark was ruined and disgraced as an academic while Lex got Connor's custody and won't let him see him.
• The merbabies refer to ice cream as the "yummy cream" in their merlanguage.
• Connor comes across a tiktok of a local showing a blurry pic of a guy with a truck full of things that looks like kids and Connor goes "wait....DAD?!" and proceeds to run away from home to go to the town and try and find out where his dad lives.
• He accidentally wanders into the cavern creek near Clark's house where Bruce and his brood now live. Connor finds himself face to face with a whole gang of mers, which is not good since he knows mermaids are extremely dangerous and territorial, especially when they are raising youngsters. Bruce is hissing, claws and sharp teeth out before he starts sniffing and....wait.....smell familiar.....smell like.....Clark????????
• Clark comes as he usually does to check on the mers and feed them his fattest catches to find his estranged son being half-drowned and licked by Bruce and his babies.
• Connor later asks him if Bruce is his new stepdad. Clark almost dies choking on his coffee. Alfred sternly denies. Bruce is bringing fish to Clark like he's his mate.

Ok so BASICALLY mermaids and sirens in my universe are separate entities. Specifically, sirens are what happens when mermaids make babies with deep sea monsters.
Mariana is a princess of the main mermaid kingdom of Sharks and Kisses with her dad being king and her mother being queen. However, her merparents couldn't conceive a child due to the conditions of the water having changed due to years of humans fuckin it up making the magic out of wack.
They struggled with solutions before resorting to getting help from a deep sea being who agreed to aid them on the condition the child would also be theirs. Basically shared custody. The two royals agreed out of desperation. They of course had no plans of revealing the identity of Marian's third parent, nor did they plan on ever returning.
Mariana was born but she showed signs of being a siren even though her parents tried to keep them hidden.
However, even if other people didn't figure out she was a siren, they could still deduce she was "weird" so she struggled with making friends and spent most of her days feeling outcasted from the pretty shimmering mermaid world she was born in.
One day, she winds up finding Donnie after discovering him floating unconscious with a fresh shark bite in his torso. After healing him just enough so that he doesn't bleed out before paramedics could get him, she starts to check the surface periodically to make sure he's still kicking. And during one of these checks, he discovers her and they both wind up becoming quick friends.
Which Donnie greatly needs as he and his family have recently moved into the seaside town and he is struggling hard making buddies. Because even if Donnie is pretty af, he also is a bit of an outcast. Strangely enough, people approach him to try and flirt and date and do not expect to be flooded with marine facts. But he was raised by marine biologist parents so it runs in the family.
Most of Sharks and Kisses focuses on their friendship which turns into a romantic relationship as they both just vibe and try to float on through life with Mariana struggling with the stress of the ocean and royal life like potential suitors, her over protective parents, and the strange calling she hears late at night from the nearby deep af trench while Donnie tries to figure out what to do with his life and how to make a name for himself with two highly successful parents and the weight of expectations.

And here’s the last in the three part with Future! I realized eventually maybe Adrien should get some of his Maman’s pattern besides just getting darker as he gets older. Otherwise, their kids right now look more like their grandparents in fins, but parents in face and hair. Huhu... wonder what the third one will look like.

For the mer au~
Aubrey was found injured in a lake and brought to the same aquarium for treatment. (She got into a fight with some jerk human teenager throwing garbage in the water. He was arrested.) That's how she met Sunny and Mari, and then Hero and Kel.
Basil came along a little later after being grabbed and forcefully dragged onto shore by one of those octopus wrestlers. (The wrestler was also arrested.) He ended up losing enough tentacles in the fight, so he was brought to the same aquarium, too.
Mari was the first to try climbing out of the tank after fully recovering from her injuries. That's when she learned she could turn her tail into a pair of human legs...

You would think that she would have an easy time walking around, but because she is not used to moving around on land, she stumbles and falls over after a few steps. Hero found her struggling and grabbing onto things around for support and ran to get her a wheelchair.

Hi, Megan! I need some female faceclaim suggestions for a half-Asian mermaid (mermaids technically doesn't have race but her merparents from the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, so I think that'd be neat!) and her parents. She's described as lithe and with little curves, as she's the fastest swimmer around...and that's it! Thank you so much for your help!

Superman will live much longer than humans, right? Well, what if he eventually becomes a recluse in his fortress of solitude. Everyone he has ever cared about is gone now. Especially someone he loved.
Bruce.
He couldn't bear to lose him. Centuries later thinking about his death still hurts like it happened yesterday. So Clark had an AI built. He used footage and voice samples of Bruce. And there he was now, with his eternal frown, his blue eyes looking at him. He manages the Fortress. Sometimes...Sometimes Clark is painfully reminded that this Bruce is not his Bruce, that he is nothing more than a hologram and unfeeling lines of code. Sometimes he reaches out to touch his face, and his hand goes through because Bruce has been gone for centuries and this one is just a hologram, a memory of a distant past now reduced to dust. Clark keeps preciously all the footage he gathered of Bruce, you know. Sometimes....sometimes he just wants to hear his voice. To see him like he was there. Clark wished he could be with him. He has a lot of objects that were owned by Bruce too. He even recreated the Batcave down to the very last detail. He kept all of Bruce's batsuits. Clark even preserved the portrait of Bruce's parents because he knew it was important for him. He takes care of it. He also takes care of Bruce and his parents' graves, because he knows Bruce wouldn't want their graves to disappear. Every year on Bruce's death anniversary he comes put flowers on his grave. It's the only day in the year that he comes out of the fortress nowadays.
What if Clark has to save the world again, but....he doesn't want to. What's the use? The man he loves died a long time ago. And then there is Owlman. And this young man, this wannabe hero, reminds him so much of Bruce. Of his compassion, his need for justice, his stubborness. He peeked under the cowl and his eyes are as blue as the sky. Just slighter darker than Bruce's. It's painful. It is like Bruce's ghost has come back to haunt him.

Not So Berry 2 - Generation 5
I fell in love with Lil Simsie’s Not So Berry -challenge back when it first came out. Years have passed since, and we have tons of new content to delve into. Several people have come up with their own versions of the challenge, but none of them resonated with me like the original did. That is why I took matters into my own hands, and decided to make one just for me - and everyone who feels the same way as I do! I miss the aspect of berry color -coded personality traits, looks, and homes, as well as the option to explore the less known aspects about the game. Parts of Lil Simsie’s challenge changed the way I played my game forever, and I’m hoping to spread the same joy of discovery and challenge as I felt back then!
Basic rules:
The challenges are created with the assumption that the player owns all expansion packs that were released before 17th of November 2020. If you are missing one or two, however, improvisation is perfectly fine. The important thing is to stick to the berry colors, as that is the basis of this challenge. For example, if you are missing a required personality trait in your game, you may replace it with a new one, as long as the color corresponds with the assigned berry! Similarly, if you are missing a feature such as a required location, you can think of something that hits close to home. The game is yours, so what you will do with it is always going to be up to you in the end.
The game must start with a single human Sim. Personality traits and aspiration aside, however you choose to create your Sim is up to you.
The lifespan must be kept on normal, but you may use items from the rewards store.
Moneycheat can be used to build a suitable home for each generation. Once the home is finished, funds must be reduced to 1500 simoleons.
Benefits earned over other DLC’s, such as Parenthood, are allowed.
The challenge will continue for 5 generations, but there will be 10 options to choose from. That is so if you happen to be missing an important pack, you may choose another to replace it. Many people burn out after five generations, but if you choose to play longer and/or own all expansions, you may continue as long as you wish. No one is stopping you! :)

In your childhood, the amount of pollution you witnessed in Sulani truly shocked you, and so you decided to move back to the city to make a difference. Of course, you chose the most polluted one. You had always understood the parent that taught you about the environment - less so your strange mersiblings and merparent.
Goals:
- Choose one neighbourhood to change for the better. (Investigating whether it i possible to change all neighborhoods.)
- Complete the Eco Innovator - aspiration
- Reach the top of your career as a civil designer
- Max gardening skill
- Max charisma skill
- Have a child with Knox. (You may cheat to make this happen by fixing Knox’s gender, or your Sim may simply be transgender.) (Still investigating if possible.)
- Marry a fireman or a firewoman
- Patchy the scarecrow must be your best friend through your adult life.
Disclaimer: I am currently playing through the challenges myself to play test it. Some might be too tough or too easy to complete, so all feedback is encouraged and appreciated.

This was the price he wanted to pay. Nobody wanted to see him again after the mess he had caused in his home waters. Santus, or his common name Strange, was the son to normal merparents, but was heavily gifted of that with magic. Sorcery and merfolk never mixed well so thus he was shunned and chastised for having such power. Many time did Sanctus want to run away, but never held the courage to do so. Until his anger of being bullied by his fellow kin caused him to cause destruction that resulted in the death of hundreds. Blood on his hands, he swam the current alone for years until he met a sea warlock by the name of Mephisto who took the young merman under his wing.
Now in a full grown merman and with Mephisto's training, Sanctus came to acquaint himself as Strange. Now being able to shapeshift at will into any desirable, his power was now fueled by fear and the darkness of the depths below. The cool water felt more pleasurable than the sun. Just looking at it now made his eyes sore.
Strange's most desired form was that of a merman with octopus legs, taking over a section of Mephisto's domain. The man was finally happy to be appreciated for his abilities despite living a life of solitude amongst his fish brethren.
