“Ritsu.” The spiky-haired turned to his brother. His eyes widened a bit as he witnessed the angered expression harden on his face.

“Get those people to a hospital.” He commented harshly, gesturing to the victims they pulled from the toppelled bus.

Shigeo glared ahead of them, ebony hair whipping across his face, to the large, shapeless spirit that attacked them.

Ritsu stood and nodded, though out of sight of Shige. “Right.” He ran to aid the injured passengers.

“I’ll help you exorcise thi-” A well dressed, blonde-haired, young man yelled from beside Shigeo. However, he was stopped by the bucket-haired boy’s hand.

“No.”

Teru was taken aback by the boy’s demanding tone. “You sure?”

Teruki wasn’t at all questioning his boyfriend’s ability to banish spirits without him. Rather, he was concerned Shigeo was not in the right mood to fight, and would end up getting hurt because of it. He knew very well that Shige was an amazing and capable esper, but he also knew firsthand that his stubbornness knew no bounds. If he decided against using his powers, there was no one who could tell him otherwise.

“I don’t want you to get hurt.” The blonde sputtered, half inside his own head. Teru realized his mistake as Shige turned to face him.

There was an intense glint in his eyes, but he softly grabbed the boy’s hand.

“Teru-chan.” Such an affectionate nickname made the blonde’s cheeks burst with shades of red.

“Y-Yes?”

“Go help Ritsu. I’ll be ok.”

Teru took another look into his dark eyes and his heart fluttered. “Fine, be careful.”
