A flowing gray-blue cape, the color of a stormy sky, was clasped around his shoulders with a silver chain. He had a silver belt with a round buckle, matching his boots, and bright white slacks with deep side pockets, all carefully orchestrated to draw even more attention to himself.

Shaoqing Li:

Shaoqing is a rather caring partner even if he does have a difficult time with expressing his feelings sometimes.

More than likely his s/o would have been the one to ask him out.

Shaoqing isn't the best when it comes to giving gifts so when a holiday, anniversary or birthday comes around his s/o may end up having a special weapon upgrade or a card with lien in it.

Date nights with Shaoqing would involve boardgames/card games, a nice homemade dinner and then watching a couple movies.

When it comes to the topic of marriage Shaoqing is a little hesitant to propose and wonders if he'd actually make a good husband or not.

Nila Arushi:

Nila isn't the most romantic person in Remnant but she does enjoy the company of her s/o.

She would definitely be the one to ask them out first, and at first she might play it off as a joke even though she's being serious about it.

Her s/o better be prepared to receive some rather expensive and unique gifts when it comes to birthdays, holidays and anniversaries.

Date nights with Nila include dinner at expensive restaurants, going to see movies or live music and a cup of tea/coffee before heading home.

Marriage isn't something that Nila initially thought about but if she truly wanted to spend the rest of her life with her s/o she may be tempted into it.

Odran Uaithne:

Compared to the other members of team SNOW Odran is pretty skilled when it comes to romance.

That being said he'd be a little hesitant at first to ask his s/o out since he would be worried about saying something that would make them hate him.

He'll give his s/o flowers, sweet cards, stuffed animals and just about anything they could ask for within reason.

Date nights with Odran consist of romantic candle lit dinners, watching movies and cuddling on the couch with a nice cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate.

He'd be quick to ask his s/o to marry him even though it might be something he regrets later on down the road.

Lloyd Whitaker:

Lloyd is fairly new to the concept of romance, his inexperience may end up being his down fall.

His s/o would have to be the one to ask him out, and they will definitely have to explain what dating would entail.

He might not be good at most romantic things but he's the best gift giver of the group. He'll buy things that he knows his s/o likes even if it means he blows most of his money in the process.

He never really thought he'd settle down but with enough convincing his s/o might be able to persuade him to get married.

Arthur enjoys being on top but with enough convincing he might let his partner be on top if it'll make them happy

He doesn't really like roleplaying in the bedroom { especially if it's medical based } so don't be surprised if he shots down the idea when asked about it

Six times out of ten you'll be the one initiating it although he doesn't mind the distraction, definitely if it's been a rather stressful day.

He likes to take things slow and enjoys tease his partners and takes pleasure in hearing them beg.

He could go for two rounds if he really wanted to but he prefers to only do one.

After sex he'll make sure that he didn't accidentally hurt his partner and if he did he'll patch them up before doing anything else.

When all is said and done, there may be some cuddling although Arthur wouldn't be the one to initiate it.

Cyberpunk character sketches/aesthetic exploration

Been playing around with some character design ideas so here’s a dump with brief descriptions

Ex-mil gun for hire — when there’s no war, soldiers turn into cheap mercenaries. No price too low, as long as they get to empty their mags at someone.

Seraphim Monk — high orbit angels rarely leave the man made heaven of their satellite enclaves, and the revelations they deliver are rarely less than fatal. Their prices are unholy, but they live up to their lofty reputation.

Street style — style is eclectic and colorful, hairstyles are unpredictable, and new fashion trends are born every day among the urban youth only to be forgotten by the next. In a future where everyone stands out, it’s that much harder to blend in.

Port head — soft tech addicts may not be adorned with body mods or replaced limbs, but the software they slot more than makes up for that. Adaptors for drive types most people never heard of this side of the pacific, hardlinked neural ram boosters, and of course, portable compdecks modded and tricked out into the next decade. Hardcore port heads have seen every type of software on the net, but spend so much time there that their bodies go to waste.

Vampire cult assassin — dangerous business in the city is often conducted under cover of night, and it is said all that happens at night is the business of the vampire cult. Mystics who shun technological implants, they rely instead on biological modifications for superior strength and hearing. Enhanced eyes help by night, but blind them by day. The vampire cult eats only organic meat—hard to come by when synthetic protein is the standard for most, but their high prices pay for their needs… and tales of them drinking human blood still circulate, though only in daylight.

Junkyard diver — the massive scrap fields hold many treasures for those brave enough to venture into the tunnels and pools most have forgotten. Ancient technologies, lost relics, junkers claim every scrap of metal to be worth something… but most are no more than the junk they seem.

Bioelectricity vendor — the electric currents of one’s body are harnessed for many implants and hard body mods, but in destitute areas even electricity is a commodity. Some who can afford the equipment resort to charging batteries with their own body, wiring away their life watt by watt for less than dirt so some other beggar can power their tech for one more hour.

Third eye gang member — when they join the third eye, members have their first two removed and a new one implanted in their forehead and hardwired into their frontal lobe. Each member can see from the eyes of each other, and they never blink.

Street tough — those with the muscle and balls to earn their way in blood find many ripe fruits in the city, as long as they know which implants mean combat expertise and which are for looks. The good ones join up with a gang or become bounty hunters or mercenaries, the bad ones become another statistic.

Zephaniah Grains (it/they) is the writing mod for this zine! It's also a writer, ttrpg designer, and stage manager. And is modding a few other zines-in-the-works! Keep an eye out.

A10 (he/she) is the social media and art mod! She is a french animation student that probably spends more time working on zines than school assignments. His previous projects include modding the 8th edition of Hermitzine, and participating in many other mcyt zines as a contributor.

Marzo (she/her) is the editing and layout mod for Morning Star. As a professional graphic designer, she loves bringing design elements into the illustration-dominated MCYT fandom space, especially within group projects like zines! Her zine experience spans several mcyt fandoms, including Hermitcraft with Hermitzine, DSMP with SAFEGUARD, MCC with the Winner’s POV zine, the Life Series with Trafficzine, and Empires with Empiropedia.

You can find her art and design on her tumblr, as well as her writing on Ao3. She’s decided to pick Stressmonster up and put her in her pocket. She’s not currently willing to share.

Watt Volt (he/its) is a writing mod and a finance mod for Morning Star. Self-described as an amateur poet, he loves all things literature! This, of course, includes dedicated fanworks, whether that be prose, poetry, or even theorizing and long-form discussions. You might recognize it from the Hermitzine mod team as the writing mod there, too!

You'll find him over on tumblr or twitter, but it's prone to scuttling under a rock when approached. (Bring a piece of paper that has the name "ivorycello" on it and it'll be more than happy to see you!

Bax (He/She) is a finance mod for Morning Star. He has a passions for illustration, graphic design, cosplay, print production, and of course, project organization! Currently, Bax is also running The Hermit Arcana: a Hermitcraft Tarot Card Zine, and has contributed/is contributing to zines such as the MCSR Tarot zine and Hermitcraft Season Zine.

Experts

The MCYT fandom is big, so our Experts assist the moderators with knowledge about the many fandoms we feature.

Blods (she/they) is the Aimsey consultant for Morning Star. They are a hobby artist with a love of horror, medieval literature and portraiture. They have previously worked on Hermitzine 8 and the Scarland Artbook, she was also commissioned by Aimsey to create a poster for their project, “Hope for an endless sunset”.

You can find Blods yelling about Aimsey’s various projects, QSMP, hermits and the Welsh language on twitter and tumblr. They promise to be very normal if you ask them about the ARG variants of Guqqie and Aimsey.

Rott (he/him) is the QSMP consultant for this zine. He is a video editor and rpg/podcast enthusiast who dedicates a lot time to watching VODs in languages he may or may not understand! While this is his first zine, he is the sound director of From The Archives, a Hermitcraft podfic project.

You can occasionally find him on twitter but he's mostly lurking in the shadows of qsmpblr and can be summoned for the low low price of mentioning vampires (he promises not to bite). Favorites are hard but he just thinks oiBagi and f1nn5ter are neat :)

Elo (she/her) is the Dsmp consultant for this zine. She's an animation student who is way too busy to be active on social media. Somehow, she's still an active anon on Tumblr for Tina <3. She spent a good chunk of her adult years watching every possible Dsmp lore point of view to create theories and is now in retirement, only helping to make statistics for competitive mc events.

If you want to force her to talk, ask her about animation, Tina, Sylvee, or even Hannah, she may come out of hiding.

Functionality

These mods are not technically in the build but are needed to have mods (syboulette's crossfit and aira's rice cooker specifically) functional.

Vehicles

Technically, the two vehicles used for this build use the the Breeze Motors 2018 Mercedes E-Class Wagon and the 2020 Maserati Quattroporte as their base. I won't link to the download page as its a perma-paywaller and I fundamentally disagree with how Breeze Motors is handling their patreon personally. I will leave it to you to decide if you want their CC and how you acquire it if you choose to do so.

For my personal game, I have edited and stripped down my copies of these two cars and modified them so that they work with Simnation Travel. I have a pinned patreon post that is not paywall locked here explaining that more in depth and include the required files HERE.

I should note that in addition to lacking the door open /close options of the original as those were stripped down, the textures were redone with simlish for a more maxis match look in game.

Mods for this Build

These are not technically required for the build to function but this build was built using overrides for both Sim Realist's SNB Bills mod as well as Simnation Travel vehicles. You shouldn't get any weird errors if you load the build in without those mods but if there's an exception caught by MCC related to that, it's probably just reconciling that the override the lot was built with is not in place in your game. It should only be a one time alert the first time the game loads in if it happens and should not cause any issue other than MCC making a noise at you about it noticing weirdness.

(The SNB provides the High Speed Internet trait to the lot and I think it will just set that trait to empty if its loaded without but I haven't personally confirmed it, hence the note here. ) Additional Note

I'm pushing this to live today just to make sure it hits my tumblr the same time as I pushed the build to my gallery but I will be going back to add links into the list. There are just a LOT to track down and it might take me a day or two to finish that part.
