Regressor!Moritz Stiefel (Spring Awakening) moodboard !

I’m just having a good time makin’ boards for more niche characters, and Moritz is NO exception! Moritz goes through a lot of hardship in both the play and musical, and for me, it isn’t far off to imagine him to be an age regressor !

Headcanons ! (TW // mentions of child abuse, SH, intrusive thoughts)

Regresses quite young, typically lingering around the 3-4 range, but can push it a little towards 5

Typically regresses involuntarily, but there are ways to trigger a regression for him (ex. taking time to relax with Melchior or, particularly, Wendla)

He is so gentle it’s almost painful. He’s careful when he’s outside touching the flowers, or when wading in the water near his house, or when asking a friend for some support while regressed (he already is pretty gentle, it’s just amplified tenfold regressed)

When he’s dealing with troublesome thoughts (given they’re usually very persistent,) he will end up slipping and hide himself away. He’s often worried that Melchior would find the behavior odd, even though they are best friends

Does not enjoy being alone while regressed, per se, as he’s often troubled with his home life, the stress of school, and the judgement of his peers; he’d love it if Ilse were able to be around him more regularly, as he believes she’d understand him and would happily oblige playing pirates yet again

Moritz loves to play pretend when regressed! Fanciful stories of pirates and thieves and farmhands and princesses alike, along with pretending to be a farm animal (just like he did as a kid)

He’s also notably more sensitive to sensory things when regressed, and finds it significantly harder to mask. As such, he stims rather freely (though Melchior or Ilse have to be wary and make sure he doesn’t chew at his fingers or scratch himself, or pull his hair too hard)

Similarly, he is a little more susceptible to meltdowns because of these factors, try as he may to stifle them as he’s been taught. He usually tries to take a nap afterwards (he REALLY needs his sleep, anyhow)

Has a stuffed bear (a gift from Ilse when they were young) that he keeps hidden in a trunk at the end of his bed. While he doesn’t risk having it out normally, when he’s regressed he takes comfort in the object especially when Ilse’s missing

Regressors!Glinda and Elphaba Headcanons

it took a while for them to warm up to each other as adults, but once they’re comfortable enough to regress together, they’re absolutely inseparable as regressors

Glinda is the big sister, regressing to an undefined age that can range from toddler all the way to preteen depending on the day

Elphaba is a very young regressor, also doesn’t put a number on her age but tends towards baby regression with rare toddler days

having a younger regressor around is good for Glinda: it makes her slow down a little more, and she can be very clumsy when she’s regressing and cause some accidents

they’re both just so excited to have someone to share this side of themselves with, it’s something they’ve both felt very isolated in

Glinda usually has a big agenda for regressing: they’re going to play this game and then she’s going to do a big dance recital and then they’re going to watch this cartoon and then-

she usually makes it through a few activities before getting tired and flopping down to take a nap with Elphaba

Elphaba likes watching Glinda run around, and her favourite thing is when Glinda sets up a big show with all the stuffed animals and Elphaba in the audience and then she performs a whole story with costume changes and dance breaks and audience participation if Elphaba is feeling old enough for it

Elphaba is very good at reading, even as a baby: Glinda thinks that it takes too long, but will play with dolls while Elphaba reads to herself quietly

Glinda likes pacifiers but doesn’t use them, so she’s always buying new ones for Elphaba, who has far too many by now

Elphaba doesn’t talk much when she regresses, but she laughs a lot more, and sings along to music

Glinda makes friendship bracelets when she’s preteen regressing and Elphaba doesn’t take them off when she ages up, so she’s building up a real collection of them on her wrists

both of them experience occasional involuntary regression, and the other acts as a caregiver during that time: they only regress together when they have a playdate planned
