It's always been so funny to me that the Council of Elrond is literally just a meeting of people who have showed up in Rivendell with different problems and just happened to do so at more or less the same time. They didn't gather there to discuss the Ring, the future of the Middle Earth or the rise of Sauron.

Nope. Each of them have faced An Issue and decided to ask Elrond for help.

Poor Elrond. He managed to avoid the kingship, but not becoming a parent figure for almost everyone in the Middle Earth.

i feel kind of angry that they met bill seacaster yet fabian had almost no time to catch up with him, all the bad kids started throwing plot at bill as soon as they saw him, not even allowing fabian to properly say hi, and even gorgug!! stayed behind and hanged out with him instead of fabian!! i know it's a funny bit that kristen decided to "we are actually leaving right now immediately" but that was too much for me, fabian is so lonely, his latest, desperate try to contact his papa brought me to tears and it wasn't even addressed :(
