There are days when I feel invincible, like I can conquer anything that comes my way. And then there are days when getting out of bed feels like climbing Mount Everest. But each day is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and heal.

I've learned that it's okay not to be okay. It's okay to ask for help. It's okay to take time for myself. It's okay to feel everything deeply. And most importantly, it's okay to talk about it.

Mental health matters because I matter. You matter. We all matter.

My social media has always been my safe space, and a place where I can openly share my MH struggles. So here we go. These last couple of weeks (time means nothing so I don’t have an exact timeframe) my anxiety has been almost debilitating. As someone who was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder I am not unfamiliar with its effects, however it’s usually paired with my depression. I haven’t been depressed or even really sad these last few weeks, and have been working on my gratitude. New promotion, sunny weather, bigger office. A lot to be thankful for, yet my anxiety has been so sever it’s often hard to get out of bed. I find sleeping difficult, I’m either not hungry, or a bottomless pit which triggers my ED. I either want to get out of the house so badly my skin is crawling, or the mere thought of leaving my house makes me want to cry. And I share this not for condolences, but in the hopes that someone else sees this and realizes that they’re not alone. I know this too shall pass, but right now, in the thick of it all, I’m really struggling. I'm having such a hard time sleeping lately. I think I'm anxious about school starting. I'm anxious to begin, but worried I'll fail.

I know the whole failure thing is me having negative thoughts and I am trying every day to shove them away. At night, it seems harder.
