Koi Fish under Bridge

This is the story of a determined koi on a quest to reach the Dragon's Gate, a mythical gateway in the mountains rumored to bestow incredible gifts upon any koi that crosses it. Despite facing challenges like powerful currents and exhaustion, the koi perseveres, swimming a little each day. Along the journey, self-doubt creeps in, but the koi remains hopeful and continues its progress. When it encounters a formidable waterfall near the end, the koi summons all its strength and successfully leaps through to the Dragon's Gate. The gods, moved by its tenacity, transform the koi into a powerful dragon, now inspiring courage and determination.

so many of my history of the performing arts notes r little interjections of q’s or essay topics im interested in except i really say the absolute least and expect myself to get it

#HOWEVER: 'pastoral traditions leading to medieval european fantasy?' so true bestie #altho u kno. prob didnt *lead* to anything as such but i do think theres a similar urge in the idealised nature & fake sort of renaissance #of it all. also yk it may have lead there directly too considering the naturefantasy type characters like satyrs and nymphs and whatnot #having their little Moment in escapist theatre #<- btw learning abt pastoral theatre is saur fucky yucky i dont know why. makes my skin crawl #but then i do also read so much medieval european inspired fantasy and i dont tend to get tired of it so. who knows !
