Incase theres any confusion, I re-used Hector from "Coco" as Hetty's uncle Kinda an AU I guess. Thats also why he has a diffrent last name, "Victor"

Hector and his brother Alejandro are Mexican immigrants who moved to England as young men. Hetty's mother Emily was british. A week or so before her due date however, Alejandro and Emily got into a car accident. They died almost instantly, at least they didnet feel anything, and the paramedics were able to deliver baby Hetty via emergency c section.

Hector had a lot to deal with. He had just started his Coffee Shop, only to get the call his brother and sister and law were dead. Not even having much time to process, Hetty under hospital care for a few days to make sure she was alright.

Finding himself suddenly a guardian on top of that, but, she needed him.

Geez, I wonder what my sister could be doing that’s so important, the one who is nine months preggers and ready to pop, the one currently in the ward pushing a watermelon out of her hoo-ha, hope there’s something like a family group text saying my sister is giving birth at this moment...hmmmmmMMMMMMMMMM wonder what it could be dear mother of mine, woman who had so many children of her own, HMMMMMmmmmmm, and you still can’t understand why she isn’t picking up your call????

Fun fact: my pfp came from my niece.

I was trying to put her to bed with her mum and she said "dont be so worried" and I replied with "I'm not worried" (even though I most definitely was).

There was a slight pause and then "its just that your face is like..." and then she made the exact face of the awkward cat.

I'm rewatching Steven Universe and I will never forgive Fandom for what it did to her

#also watching it at age 19-20 as it was released and experiencing the resulting clusterfuck online fandom response was a wild trip #im finally rewatching it again at 25 and really really feel lucky to have seen it at the age i did #i have completely different perspective on it now that i have 3 young nephews and a neice where before i was in college #the music is still as incredible as it was back then #and the animation #i cant beleive people got honestly and truly upset and violently aggressive about characters being off model sometimes #early stevens voice though kills me after awhile...... the yelling .... but his characters growth and development also being reflected in #his voice changing as he grows up #they also go crazy hard on some scenes #who am i kidding the show was a masterpiece and ahead of its time

08/11/23 Short & Mundane Dreams

In the first dream, I was driving a car around recklessly. I was getting a lot of people angry, but I was running from something that was not the police. Eventually, I have to pull over and am arrested.

In the second dream, I am sitting in a room with my brother K, my twin, my neice & my baby sister M. I have to make a phone call. I end up not hearing when the woman on the phone comes back, so she is upset. I have to hang up.

In the third dream, I retrieve clothes from somewhere. I am told that my volunteer work for the day is to deliver these clothes to someone in a hospital. I go to the hospital, but the woman says no one by the given name is checked in. I try to explain what's going on, but something happens, and she is distracted. I am not able to deliver the clothes, so I leave the hospital.

Morning mood: Meh
