since i think you've said you don't like space jam (or at least space jam 2) if you could rewrite it however you wanted how would you do it?

I'm gonna be honest... not to sound dramatic but, so much of what space jam is, is antithetical to what Looney Tunes are. The tunes wouldn't need outside help to defeat the aliens, at least not genuinely. Because they've dealt with far greater and zanier conflicts. Hell, the bugs/ daffy vs Marvin shorts prove that they're capable of dealing with extraterrestrials!

If Space Jam 2 got ANYTHING right, it was reworking the premise of Space Jam. Lebron needs the tunes, not the other way around, but I feel that was as far as they were able to go. Also I was always peeved that Looney Tune Land was underground (for some reason?) at least in SJ2, Looney world or whatever was within WB property.

All this rambling to say, uh, idk how a Cel-SJ would work if I tried. I feel like, I'd end up sacrificing the Tune' integrity for the sake of branding+marketing. Bc that's literally, historically what the SJ series is created to accomplish like. it's never meant to be anything more. Like, the entire premise is flawed, I can't salvage that. (tangent: That's why it hurt my heart to see such devoted artists who worked with LT work on SJ2 and watch them struggle to stay true to the tunes bc like. it's space jam. it can't ;-;)

The SJ I could see is like, an anti space jam?? Like, the tunes are the main+ side characters, and all the irl humans are set pieces for gags. Maybe a running gag is that, an actor (playing as themselves) would TRY to be a side character, but they can't keep up or end up getting a pie in the face and falling out of the story. But also like. I'm having a hard time forming a 90 minute basketball centered conflict bc I keep running into roadblocks. The tunes could solve a lot of this within 15 minutes tops lmaooooo

Deltarune Yellow: Stories from Another Place

After playing through Undertale Yellow I thought "What if these characters were in the Deltarune world" so I went ahead and wrote a few short stories based on that idea: https://archiveofourown.org/works/52748578/chapters/133414159

Here's a general gist of what the folks from UTY are like in Deltarune

Clover lives in a town called "Notheast" (it's just Arizona, it's the absolute worst) with Martlet. Adopted at a very young age by her and despite not knowing how to be a mother at first, Martlet has raised him well. He loves old cowboy movies and always wears his iconic hat and bandana.

"North Star" and his "posse" are just normal working folks who reenact old western battles in their free time (really no different than the usual). Clover hangs out with them.

Martlet is a local town official who tries to keep things as orderly as she but really her efforts hinder more than they help, no one has the heart to tell her this though. She adopted Clover when he was 4 and been his cool bird mom ever since.

Ceroba runs a martial arts class and occasionally larps with "North Star". Is still married to Chujin, they have their issues but what couple doesn’t?

Chujin runs an electronics store that he's trying to remodel, it still has the cheezy atmosphere of 80's advertising from back when. Also takes care of a flower garden in the town center, it's a nice reprieve from all the sand. Kanako helps out with the gardening and occasionally mans the store register when Chujin can’t. Used to be a big shot… so they say

Kanako is a friend of Clover's since they were in 1st grade elementary. She wants to be a hero but isn't sure what she wants to do that would be "heroic" enough to help people. She larps with Clover but pretends to be a samurai instead… even though the group thinks it ruins the mood when everyone is shooting (nerf) guns at each other while she batters people with a wooden katana.

Dalv died in a mishap with makeshift explosives, all that was left of his house was a single Balloon… or atleast that’s the exaggerated story of it. Truth was the man accidently lit a match near an open propane tank. The balloon did survive though don’t worry.

There's a mining operation happening west of the town but the locals don't know what their mining for. There’s rumors of hidden treasures and impossible creatures but the Miners wont speak a lick to locals.

Axis only exists as Chujins store Mascot, the cardboard cutout of him is a common target of harassment by kids. Someone punched a hole through it once and nobody knows why.

That doesn't cover everyone but I'll get to those folks when I can gather my thoughts more.

Wonderful Top 7s: 7 More of my Favorite Fighting Game Characters (in no particular order this time) Beowulf (Skullgirls): A cocky wrestler based off of one of the most oldest pieces of fiction we have access to? Call me both intrigued and excited. From building hype to chaining wrestling grabs together to smashing faces with a chair called The Hurting, this big bad wulf is one of the most fun and unique grapplers I’ve ever played. Iron Fist (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3): A grounded character in a very aerial game but one that has fun to perform rekka combos, a good selection of assists, and an awesome collection of supers. Shame about that crappy Netflix show but SpartanThrone made it to EVO Top 8 with him and that's awesome. Gran (Granblue Fantasy Versus series): Gran is basic. As basic as an RPG protagonist can be. However, sometimes I want basic. Sometimes I want a character with a simple game plan and moveset and that’s just fine. However, the ability to flying kick your opponent across the screen or summon an enormous laser shoot dragon is certainly a plus. Hazama (Blazblue series): Blazblue's got a few characters I feel just as passionately about but I've spent the most player time with this green haired devil. A serpentine grappling hook, one of my favorite supers ever in Eternal Coils, and a “so evil he crosses the line twice” personality. If only BBTAG didn't nerf what he could do in his stance. Johnny Joestar (JJASB): From horse riding to collecting parts of Jesus’ corpse to evolving your psychic punch ghost into more powerful forms to having non-functioning legs. Everything that this character did/is in his original manga appearance translated into fighting game mechanics. Is Johnny best JoJo?: YES YES YES! Terry Bogard (SNK): To contrast the stoic Japanese mascot of Capcom’s flagship fighting game franchise, SNK developed a fiery American mascot for its cut of the pie. Terry has the basic hallmarks of a basic fighter but jazzes it up with his own street inspired style. He has an attack based on basketball for crying out loud. So glad for all those crossovers too! Lucas (Super Smash Bros Ultimate): For this post, I wanted to focus on games that I didn’t mention during my original Top 7 Fighting Game Characters list with one exception. Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mother 3’s Lucas. Floaty, flashy, fun and versatile. Playing this psychic child just does it for me and I’ll continue to come back to him after I rotate through all my other smash mains…or I guess just characters at this point.

...i have begun to think: what do memoria chips do in the Fictional EXE Gacha Game, anyhow?  they’re obviously not battle chips.  maybe they’re like nerfed patch cards, so you can strap up to four to your navi and they do things?  maybe getting memoria slots works like it does in magireco, i.e. the more copies you pull the more of your unit’s four slots are unlocked, and that’s the key to making the player roll the gacha enough to make it sustainable without absolutely speeding through the navis? 

capcom i need this to exist.  i need to whale for ring and use her in Liberation Missions On My Phone with rockman, roll, blues, medi, iris, aaaaand... prolly someone cute and smol to be the mascot like aquaman or toadman.  capcom set this up so you can take my money.  capcom plz
