the situation with the RV sounds like a nightmare tbh, but it does open a door for some delulu discussion about, say, Olli and Allu both drawing the short straw and ending up with no bed for the night, so they're forced to sort of sit in some corner and cuddle under a blanket to try and make themselves at least a little more comfortable 🥺

hellooooo 💕💘💖💘 honestly yeah, it's fucked up that they had to tour in those conditions, but at the same knowing those fuckers, they would've said stuff like "remember those years back when we weren't famous? and slept seated in a smaller van? we can do this again, it will be worth it if we became known in the US market" or something like that

buuuuut speaking of cuter things, omg yessssss 😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺 i'm gonna bring this one thing for reference and put everything under a read more because there's a lot of text lol

so these are the plans for the RV lol don't ask how I found them but trust the diagonal positioning of the sink 💀

I imagine them sitting opposite each other in that place labeled "dinette" (bottom right space next to the copilot's seats) trying to keep the other awake because they don't wanna fall asleep over the table (Allu has quite the Experience Working Until Late and doesn't want Olli to suffer as he does each morning when he wakes up in his studio)

they cannot talk because there are two other people sleeping in the sofa bed next to them, so they find another way of communicating, either by using whatsapp or through the notes app on their phones

then Allu takes quite the time to reply, maybe because he's remembering one meme that reminded him of Olli but now he can't find it, so when he looks back at Olli he's already asleep while sitting, with his head resting on his hand and that's a big no for him

so in a moment of 'fuck everything' Allu steps over the table and towards where Olli is, sitting next to him and pulling him into a "comfortable" position (where Allu is sitting with his back against the wall, and a sleepy Olli is sitting between Allu's legs) kinda like this?

Olli, of course, doesn't remember anything the next morning, and suddenly finds himself cuddling with Allu under a blanket 🥰💘💖 his heart is racing because this is one of the things he has been thinking about for a while, but he's afraid of waking up Allu and chooses to enjoy the moment to make it last longer

once they are waken up by their bandmates they don't speak about it, Allu too embarassed because he thinks he crossed a line, and Olli too busy remembering how Allu's hands felt wonderful resting on his tummy and how much he wants this to happen again and again and again

maybe someone in the band volunteers to do the soundcheck for them, just so that they can have a little nap and feel well rested before playing that night's show

Olli drags Allu back into the van, making a beeline for the bedroom, and once they're laying in bed he thanks Allu for keeping him comfortable last night, and apologizes for falling asleep 🥺🥺 Allu says that he would like to sleep next to Olli this time, cuddling again, and who is Olli to deny him such a simple request?

when they wake up, a few hours later, the first thing they see is each other and oops, maybe they realize that they have some Feelings for each other, so it's only natural for them to finally lean into a sweet kiss 💖

(or maybe Aleksi asks for a massage because his back hurts like hell and Olli gives him that and so much more, who knows 😏)

and well, for both Olli and Allu, it doesn't matter where they will have to sleep the next night, as long as it's next to each other 🥰💖💘

i need to know about uli and matz in the new movie

How are they?are they good?did they get sidelined? I need to know!!!

well, basically all characters were kind of underdeveloped, so uli and matz are no exception.

matz got a bit of an extra backstory/storyline about him only doing boxing bc of his father, but that is mentioned in like. maybe three sentences total.

the fight scene was frankly embarrassing, he’s literally knocked out with one single hit 💀

ulis portrayal was fine imo. i expected him to get more of sebastian’s character traits since he’s „The Smart One“, but that wasn’t really the case.

one thing that is kind of a change in dynamics is that the externs are also the ones who bully him, when in the book, the guys who pick on uli are part of „their group“. (which is another reason why i think the interne vs externe thing doesn’t work as well)

i found the aftermath of his accident kind of disappointing tbh. we don’t even see if it had any impact on the other kids at all. i’m assuming not really?? 

he climbs onto the city wall because of a legend that says whoever achieves this rules the whole town. and he does actually make it, but everyone else starts arguing about wether that counts bc he used equipment and then uli slips and falls down.

the only impact his accident had (that i can tell, at least) is that the kids are suddenly like „whoa he had to go to the hospital,,, this rivalry has gone too far“ despite the fact that it didn’t really have much to do with the rivalry at all??

and the legend was made up too, so it was all for nothing apparently?? i don’t even know if ulis stunt helped to show the others that he’s not a coward. it’s not shown 

but like i said, this isn’t exclusive to uli and matz. none of the characters feel well rounded or developed to me. that’s probably because they decided to spend that time on drawing out the conflict between internet and externe (which i could also complain about, but that’s not what you asked)

i just had—what i believe to be—one of the worst ideas i’ve ever had. absolutely awful. deplorable.

it was the idea of a marauders au based on dear evan hansen. haven’t worked out all of the ideas but the first few thoughts were to have remus as evan and sirius as conner. more involving sirius’ “ghost”. like calling into question whether or not this is remus’ mind playing tricks on him or if sirius is there. also having remus realize that he’s in love with sirius but sirius isn’t there.

i wouldn’t have the lie get as big as it does in the musical, like i think it would stay as a thing between remus and sirius’ family and then like probably their friends too. like the kinda common au trope of remus being an outsider to the group and then slowly becoming friends with them all.

"I think Louisa and I are going to break-up," announces Leon very calmly when Michael asks "So, what's up, man?"

"What?" Michael's mouth says before he thinks about it. "No! Why? I like Louisa. She's so cool!"

Leon slowly blinks, clearly baffled by his reaction. "I wasn't aware she meant so much to you," he says, with a small confused frown. "I wasn't aware you two had met."

"Er," says Michael. God, he'd meant to tell Leon, obviously, but he'd kind of assumed Louisa would, because the whole reason why they meet in the first place is - well, kind of wild, actually, and also sort of embarrasing, for Michael, and he knows Leon wouldn't judge, exactly, but lately he's been feeling even more how much Leon has it together and he doesn't and -- "We've hung out a bit." he finishes lamely.

"When?" Leon asks. he's doing the face, now, the face that means I need all the information available to make sure I say the right thing and don't react too brash. "You haven't been introduced. I've been mindful to have sex at her place rather than here so that you wouldn't be disturbed--"

"Actually it sort of happened indedepently of you, dude, and it's kinda a long story, and, well, I guess we're friends? Sort of? Maybe. Not like you label those sort of things, right? Which is weird, really. You should be able to tell when two people are friends, right? Like there should be a talk, or something, just like when you date or--"

"Michael."

"Right. Louisa. So. Breaking-up then? You sure?"

Leon hesitates. Leon rarely hesitates, but Michael knows he's questionning whether to pursue the whole how do michael-and-louisa-met point or the i-am-breaking-up-with-my-girlfriend point. Michael feels a tinge of guilt, suddenly. It's not that he didn't want to tell Leon, he thinks. It's just that he's been assuming that everything was going well for Leon, and everything was going bad for him, and hanging with Louisa had been a nice distraction from the mess of everything else in his life, and, and, and-- man, he's been a crappy friend. He feels like a crappy friend.

He sits down next to Leon, and he nudges him with his shoulder. "Just tell me," he says, gentler. "I promise to shut up for at least five minutes so you can pour your emotions out. Feels real good, promise. Been doing tons shit of it to you for ten years, I'd know."

Leon huffs fondly, and then he leans against him, sighing soft and quiet. "She's a lovely woman, and I do like her," he admits. "She's just - a lot. I don't think we're that compatible with each other. I lack her sense of adventure, I believe."

Seeing how Michael and Louisa did meet, that makes a lot of sense, actually. Michael reaches for Leon's hand, and squeezes it. "You'll find someone," he tells him, because he knows it's not Louisa, that's bothering Leon right now; or, not exactly. He doesn't know when he got so good at reading the different way Leon's forehead creases over the years, but man he could write a dictionnary nowadays. "Someone who speaks your language."

"Thank you, Michael," Leon says, squeezing his fingers back. "I think I needed to hear that tonight."
