This was the day Onix had been planning for since the start of the month, Hopper's birthday! And with a little help from her family, she was able to throw one of her closest friends one of the best surprise parties she's ever thrown! Hopper got tons of gifts this year, a spa day with the girls, a brand new dress from Facilier, a set of sparkling gold jewelry from Hades, & freshly cut roses from Shan. And to top it all off, an all you can eat buffet right next to the dance floor, oh, & of course Kyanite couldn't miss the chance to give his birthday wishes to the birthday queen! 😆✨

Yep! This was certainly going to be a day to remember, a special day. Happy birthday @heyhopperart ! May your birthday this year be filled with love, joy, fun & extremely delicious cake!!! Go give her some love everybody, she deserves it!!!! 🎉🎊🎁🎂🧁🍭🍦🥳

Remaking my RWBY OCs: Team KYNT

IDC if this is cringe I made these almost 4 years ago and I'm probably going to write the fanfiction soon if I can get the motivation.

Team KYNT (Kyanite) consists of Kelly Greene, Yale Taivas, Noire Deces, and Tawny Erimos. They attend Beacon Academy in their second year, one year ahead of team RWBY and JNPR.

I'm not an artist so I made the pictures here

Kelly Greene

Name meaning: Kelly is a shade of green and also means warrior and bright-minded in Gaelic. Greene is a different spelling of the word green, while also meaning at the green, a grassy plot used by the village common.

Semblance: Banshee's Cry; she can let out a supersonic screech. This takes up a lot of aura, so in battle she only uses it in a dire emergency. One scream and she's out, two on maybe a really good day.

Weapon: Mandolin; a musical instrument with a different type of dust ingrained into each string. The colors are always changing, implying that she regularly changed the strings on her instrument before and after battle.

Background: Kelly was born in Sanus, but traveled around Remnant for most of her life. Her parents were famous musicians who would preform from big cities like Atlas to small villages outside of the protection of guarding huntsmen. It was at one of these shows where a Grimm attack took place and she got separated from her parents in the chaos. Faced with an Elk-like Grimm, she screamed for help and out came a piercing shriek that knocked the Grimm back, destroying it. This left her weak, confused, and stranded until her parents found her and packed her up along with their belongings. This traumatic experience drove Kelly to want to attend Beacon academy.

Personality: Kelly is a soft-spoken woman, avoiding large crowds when she can and keeping to herself. If you wish to find her you usually can by looking for her in an empty lecture room practicing her music or in the library reading. She values her solitude, which is challenging when met with the responsibility of being team leader. Her performance background has helped in being able to mask this, however even this can only help her so much.

Additional notes: Dating Coco Adel of Team CVFY. I don't remember if I added this before or after her sexuality was made canon but I've loved Coco ever since her debut in Volume 2. Also she absolutely has an Irish accent, North Dublin to be exact

I designed some more SU ocs!! You'll have to forgive me for the brainrot I've become terribly attached to this silly show.

Casserite - or "The Executioner". They're designed to carry out the orders of their superiors (generally Diamonds, Emeralds, Sapphires, etc.) specifically to reset gems who are falling out of line.

This particular Casserite was under White Diamond's control for a few thousands years, and while she is no longer, her color and empathy have drained over the span of her possession.

Kyanite - The only known successful Cluster Gem out of all of Yellow Diamond's experiments. With the shards of a Pearl and a Lapis, they form an unstable fusion - the connected shards often react and cause glitches or involuntary poofing. Kyanite has little to no hydrokinesis and cannot summon a weapon. Separating the shards would kill them.

Prehite - A gem programmed to program. They calculate the best places to form kindergartens and which sections will create which gems - they generally work in tandem with Peridots and Lapis.

This Prehite is an off-color, though it's not noticeable at first glance. Their colors have the slightest hint of blue that sets them apart from the other's of their kind. They managed to avoid getting caught for years before a Peridot pointed them out. They fled, and crash landed on Earth.

Tanzanite - The second most rare gem of Homeworld, Tanzanites are regarded as the strongest and most valuable under the Diamonds. Known for their prowess in battle and leadership, they command Emeralds and legions of Jaspers and Quartz.

This Tanzanite was part of the original invasion of Earth. After learning of it's natural life she defected, hiding as a Holly Blue Agate until she could disappear.

Apatite - Apatites are architects. Working with Bismuths and Morganites, they used their holographic abilities and telekinesis to draw up precise plans for spires and difficult structures.

This Apatite was on a ship headed to another Gem Hub when a meteor hit his ship and he crashed on Earth. Initially an antagonist to the Crystal Gems, he came around to the idea of protecting earth after befriending a feral dog.

I decided to make a follow up! On what you may ask? On @heyhopperart 's birthday post of course! I know her birthday has already passed, but I really wanted to sketch a few things that happened during the party! It's gonna be some simple chibi sketches for this post, but it was super fun to draw these out & I'm super excited to share these with you all! 😄✨

I kid you not, that swan took FOREVER to make! But King Candy was DETERMINED to complete it & complete it he did, the villains were shocked to see an entire swan made of chocolate, but more shocked that Turbo didn't get the chance to eat it in the process of its creation. 😄

That spa day though, WORTH IT!!! Onix really wanted to treat her friend Hopper to something relaxing before the party so she figured a spa day would do just the trick, & to top it off, getting a full on makeover to look their best for the celebration! Let's just say that ALL the ladies agreed that this was probably one of the best parts of the day. 😉

But what Hopper won't ever forget about the whole day, was the part where she had her fairytale dance with Kyanite, she was freaking out when Kye asked her to join him on the dance floor, but with a little encouragement from Onix, she was swept off her feet by that dapper lizard. LITERALLY, she was literally being carried across the dance floor due to Kye being so tall. 😂

While it may be gone till the next year comes, I'm still gonna say it regardless, Happy Birthday @heyhopperart !!! Love you (platonically) to the moon & back bestie!!!! 😆🎉🥂
