Making the Collector's pronouns he/they was a stroke of genius. Because not only is it obvious (at least to me) for his species of godlike beings to be mostly genderless, but they set it up so that King called him "they" first to let the audience know a) how close he and the Collector are and b) that the audience was aware of that pronoun. Thus, at the end, when Luz says "They're leaving!" about the Collector and all the characters say goodbye, it makes perfect sense that all of the characters would say and do this in-universe, but we can tell out of universe that the line "they're leaving" actually means all of us and that we're being waved goodbye to.
They/them are some powerful words.

I finished Owl House a few days ago and there's one scene that just sticks with me.
Or rather, one frame actually.
Like, this one single frame of Eda's pure unhinged joy because Luz has come full circle of not only being a witch, but being another Eda.
The moment Luz makes the comment about "You know where Magic comes from"
And Eda is just-
The pure joy in the fact that she knows this is the witch she saw when she started training Luz, this is her prodigy, this is her kid.
It's my favorite frame in the entire episode and I've rewatched this fucking finale 4 times now.

Things I think the whole toh fandom (or just me) is wondering after the finale
- what type of demons are Titan hunters even? like they look kinda like witches, but they're definitely not witches
- are covens at hexside like an all you can learn situation? like do they use covens as different subjects and the students can pick? ik it sounds kinda dumb but I'm curious
- what is the minimum age for tattoos in the Boiling Isles? if gus got one at 16 and Matt got one at 17 what is the minimum age? or do you just become an adult as soon as you graduate?
- ARE RAEDA AND WINTER/HUNTLOW A THING? JUST PLEASE TELL US, DON'T LEAVE THE FANDOM HANGING LIKE THAT
- do people still live in the arm that turned sideways?
- what happened to wild witches that got petrified? are they in a cemetery to honor or something?
- talking about cemetery, what happened to the looking glass ruins? did gus and Matt actually start helping? is it a museum now?
- what was the archivers/collector's function in the ancient times?
if you know any other send me and I'll make a post with them (will give credit) :)

Hey gang, in case we weren’t broken up enough about Flapjack, did y’all notice that in the moment where Hunter wakes up, there is no music, just ambient forest noise. Little things like bugs chittering, leaves and branches rustling, the little waves in the lake, and right as he’s about to say “I already know” you can just hear a few notes of a distant bird call… oof, that’s a lot of damage.

Turns out the Episode with the least plot development also had the most foreshadowing.

Wtf happened to that whole thing they had with Hunter finally getting to be his own person and not just a copy of Caleb?
Wtf was the point in giving him that new haircut in Thanks to Them if they're just gonna get rid of it and just give him Caleb's hair again?
Wtf was the point in implying that he wanted to/was going to stay in the human realm if they're just gonna have him be in the demon realm?
Wtf was the point in having him be interested in sewing if they're just gonna have him dedicate himself to carving (which Caleb also did) palisman?
Wtf happened to all that set up they did?
